All is well nowThe app after 3 days will not open. Click on it and nothing happens. It has to be deleted and reinstalled. Th info in the app would be great although it will not load. Just a black screen. It's on beta 2 a fails miserably. If it's fixed and works I would purchase it. The developer responded personally and explained new version would correct issue. Little DisappointedThe radar is pretty good but I can say that for most all weather apps. The problem I have with this one is on the radar “layer” starts with what happened 45 min ago and counts 5 min. intervals to current time, that’s it! In order to see future direction of the storm is to change the layer to which gives a long timeline view forward and doesn’t give any visual or feel like it’s a continuation from the current state of weather so, by the time your done looking at that, you’ve now forgotten where you left off on the current timeline and then have to switch back to the other layer. Just put the timeline at the bottom and give an option to move it! maybe a dropdown box on the main user interface, heck I don’t know. I have no clue what the point is for having a Basic vs Detailed precipitation layer. All of the most controls on the main screen without having to switch layers. I’m no app creator and I’m sure the people who write the software are much smarter in ways that I am not, but common sense seems to be on the forefront of what’s missing in all apps these days. Living in Oklahoma all my life I’d say I’m pretty familiar with what could be useful for me in a weather app. I would imagine it’s pretty mutual across the board. Nice weather app. Interface for use is easy and quicker than most. BUT!The app is quick responsive and the interface (buttons, layout, display, & user tools). Are better than most other weather radars and easy for use. However the fees for continued use of the app are kinda ridiculous. The yearly isn’t bad but only if it truly allows a monthly charge, even so I’d only pay like .25 cents a month.
Anyway here’s the BUT it forces you to accept a free trial with a pending 4.99 charge or the yearly if that’s what was selected when you accepted the free trial. I’m done testing the app out and deleted it. I’m trying to find where I can cancel so that it doesn’t automatically charge me. The devs don’t make this obvious which leads me to believe it’s by design so they can get away with you $5. I’ve check the setting section in app I’ve check the apple app itself and checking my manage subscriptions there and nothing pops up. Won’t let you past the paywallI downloaded this app, but now I am going to delete it because it will not even let me see the app without agreeing to pay weekly or monthly. Ostensibly I could agree to that and then turn it off within the trial period, but if you expect to see anything without having to find and turn off a subscription, you are out of luck. Even the big button that says “Continue for $0” requires you to choose which subscription will automatically charge you at the end of the “free” trial. App producers should have the integrity to give full pricing information and not force people to accept a “free” trial than requires a turn off. I doubt there is even any kind of “free” (with advertising) service available on this app. Apple should require this integrity in their rules, but it seems this is the way of the world right now. Not impressed.I expected this hurricane tracker to be more user-friendly. When I saw the hurricane icon with a "4" bubble, I assumed it meant there were four active storms to track. However, clicking the icon only let me turn the tracker on or off. It was hard to locate the actual hurricanes—I had to zoom all the way out and search the globe. I only found three, and they were marked with large "L" symbols, which I guess represent tropical depressions. The tracker offered basic info like wind speed and pressure, but lacked updates or predictions. It would be far more helpful if clicking the icon took me straight to the active storms, showing their paths, timelines, and potential impact. Doesn’t show futureI have 3 other apps.. I’m a kayak tour guide in Key West and obviously need to know if rain is coming. There will be a storm cloud on the radar (like now at 5:30am) but anything past that is completely clear, while other apps show the lingering storm cloud. Can this app seriously not predict that the storm isn’t going to magically disappear? Others much betterThe app. Continuously gives me reports for areas I am not in. For example, I am in Texas and getting information on Miami and Orlando. The settings does not give an option to select a town and I have the settings to use my precise location. Number 3: the radar keeps showing previous hours, when switched to detailed precipitation you can see several hours coming up, but it’s hard to see a detailed within the hour radar. This makes watching for a tornado in the area very difficult.

Bad initial new user designCould not even get past the initial phase without having to pay the price I wanted to try the app to see if it would work for me, but you have to pay first or commit to a subscription even though it says you can try for free.
