Good gameI have played this game for a long time and I’ve enjoyed it very much. It helps me use my brain, has some variety and no timers for the most part. Just occasionally and that’s ok. But lately, and I am past level 2500, it is getting to the point it’s not fun. I’ve had three Qu tiles showing at the same time or three v’s and no vowels! Vowels seem to be more scarce over and over. This is taking all the fun out of it. If it doesn’t ease up any I will have to find a new game. Up until now it’s been 5 stars. Update: I’ll give it a five star since the developers reached out with a response. It’s impressive that they do read reviews and care about our opinion after all. Thanks for reaching out. :). Also, I failed to mention that they do give good prizes for free that help you to play. Good App, Had a Weird Experience w/ AdsThis game is fun. Like, really addictive. I only have one real qualm with it and that’s that when I first started, it didn’t give me any ads after the levels, just the banners at the top (which is to be expected). Then, it started giving me an ad every two levels, then an ad after every level. I appreciate that it doesn’t interrupt the level, but it felt a little deceptive to try and hook us on the game before barraging us with ads. Otherwise I have no real complaints. The fact that the levels are seemingly randomized in terms of letters is both a blessing and a curse; sometimes I get bad RNG and get stuck with letters like X or Z with no available vowels, but if I replay the level it has different letters. I do think I like this more than I dislike it solely because it provides an exercise for my brain, and I also appreciate the opportunity to get the lost words. I’m a big completionist and go for 3 stars on every level plus the bonus, and sometimes I have to replay a level several times to get it all. I do love that if I get the bonus once, I don’t have to get it again to also get three stars. I can do it in two runs if I need. Overall, good game. Addicting game, gross adsIt’s a relaxing and enjoyable game, I’ve been addicted to it recently. Unlike some other games, it gives you good in-game rewards and the ads aren’t as obnoxious as the other games. I have a few frustrations regarding the game though. Sometimes the banner ads show up in such a way that I can’t access parts of the screen and I can’t exit out of them either. This doesn’t happen often so it’s not a big deal. I like the incorporation of challenges in the game to give you a goal to work towards, but some of the challenges are seemingly impossible to complete unless you’re a master of the game. That’s just a skill issue though I guess, but I wish the challenges were more reasonable for my level. My last frustration has to do with the content of the ads. Some of the ads show vulgar imagery, videos, and language. One example was for an underwear advertisement but language on the explicit side was used to describe the private parts in more detail than I’d like and the ad did close-ups on said private parts (albeit clothed in the underwear but still very visible). It makes me feel uncomfortable and disgusted and I wish there was a way to stop being shown these ads..XkatyaxVersion: 1.3.1

Great game with ads done the right way!When I read the reviews of the game I saw people complaining about ads and I figured it was going to be one of those games where you can’t even finish your turn without having to watch a 60 second ad. I was pleasantly surprised that is not the case. There is a small ad banner at the top while you play and after your turn is over there is what is usually a very brief ad. Lots of coins to be earned by a daily free spin the wheel and 25 coins free every hour. You can get more by watching ads. I haven’t had to much because the coin for finishing a round is decent plus the coins from finding missing words. Gameplay is challenging without being impossible. Fun but frustratingThis game has many positive elements, but now the negatives outweigh them. I have paid several times now, but continue to hit a ‘wall’ where it seems obvious the algorithm thwarts me to try to get more money out of me. For example, toward the end of the hand there are multiples of one letter that are impossible to make into words with other remaining letters. Also, demands for 6 letter words will pop up toward the very end of a hand and the only way to come up with a 6 letter word is to use up one’s coins, or, more often than not, buy more coins. Now on to the positives of this game: the books with groups of words are a fun element and really add to the game. Being able to shuffle around the letters before choosing a word to use is a definite plus. If there were a monthly subscription available I might continue to play, but I’ve grown weary of the roadblocks trying to force me to keep paying for so little rewards. WHAT’S UP WITH THE DOORDASH POP UPS?I love playing this game. Since I began playing a couple of years ago, my grammar has improved significantly. I became a paraplegic at 28 years of age and even though I still got a job that was perfect for someone in a wheelchair, I winded up in another accident where a commercial truck driver hit and dragged me and my wheelchair while I was trying to cross the street. That accident left me worse than the first one and a year later, I had to go through an emergency surgery that lasted 12 hours. I then had to do intensive rehabilitation to get me back to my independence. However, I was never the same again and couldn’t work anymore. I retired young and raised my two boys. My spelling and grammar was still good because I made sure my children did their homework correctly, but, by the time they were in high school they didn’t need my help anymore and I slowly lost my ability to write with intellectual words and my grammar wasn’t what it used to be. But with this game, all that changed and I have improved tremendously. I love & appreciate the challenge this game brings. But, lately, there’s been an issue with DoorDash ads that pop up everywhere without any warning. What’s up with that? Please fix this problem ASAP! Thank you! Fun for Only a Few HoursThis game was really, really fun for the several hours. I was leading in the bronze contest. Then, like so many other games, it becomes greedy. The game has lengthy ads. It is $9.99 to remove the ads for only 30 days. In addition to the lengthy ads, the game is designed to make you spend lots of money and/or lots of time. At some point, you start running into levels where there are few cards with vowels, or the cards repeat the same letters, so you have to continue to spend coins to get more cards to get a variety of letters to spell words. Once you hit that level, you run out of coins quickly, which means you have to wait to play a level lots of times to get decent letters, buy more coins, or buy more lives. SUPER fun game…however…Let me start out by saying I absolutely love this game!! I like it so much I actually started an excel sheet to keep track of the “lost words” (that’s the nerd in me, I guess)…HOWEVER…it doesn’t give you any “Q’s”, so you’re forced to use a wild card, which wouldn’t be a big deal IF you were actually able to select the letter you want the wild card to represent! I created “quest” using a wild card and apparently it recognized it as guest, maybe? But how am I supposed to find the lost word if I cannot tell it to use the wild card for the letter Q? There have been other words that it recognized as other words, that I was trying to use the wild cards to make the lost word, as well. So, please, make a way for you to choose what letter you want the wild card to represent! If you did this, I would be more than happy to give this game 5 stars!.Lego76Version: 1.1.1

Finally - Something differentJust started playing, but I like it so far. It is different than other word games. When I saw the ad for this game at first I thought the ad would probably not match up to the game. But it did. Also, so many word games have you drawing lines from random letters to create words and I find those boring. With the letters hidden underneath like cards it adds a little challenge. The game moves fast and smooth. No hiccups and so far, not too many ads. I hope it stays that way. So many games have started putting ads after a round, at the beginning and ending of a game and even right after you start. I have deleted so many of these games for too many ads. Respects the PlayersThis is one of the better apps. It’s super easy to navigate, Very relaxing and you don’t have to spend money constantly. What I really appreciate is how it doesn’t smother you with long ads. At the end of a puzzle there’s an ad that’s about 15 seconds long and then if you choose you can watch longer ads for your daily bonuses to get coins etc. If you do buy coins they’re often running some type a deal which is pretty generous. If you’re conservative & watch the ads for the daily bonuses, you could easily get by without ever having to make a purchase. No ads?So far I am liking this game very much….NO ADS. The screenshots are actually in the game, hard to believe. Finally a word game without censorship!How refreshing to finally find a word game that includes ALL WORDS! Too many word games these days won’t include “trigger” words or words that have negative connotations, and, as a word purist, I find that kind of woke attitude applied unnecessarily to game development. If a word is a word, it should be included in word games. I have really enjoyed playing this game because all words are words, and I love the library and the “books” and trying to complete all the collections. Downsides: The bonus challenges are sometimes impossible to win because of the randomization of letters. I wish there was a way to opt out of the league play because the top three prizes are kind of lame, so I don’t find it worth my effort. Comments good and bad.I keep adding or changing my review on changes in the game. I do not like the new challenge levels. I play the game often in the evening when my mind is not its sharpest. Fun GameI would play this game for hours. I love the different puzzle types (word length, time, etc.). I love the library of missing word books. There’s also a glance at your statistics so you can see what you’ve accomplished. Unfortunately, the game is coin heavy. Coins are used to flip backwards in the deck and the cost goes up incrementally (10, 20, etc.). Coins are used to obtain additional cards, again the costs go up incrementally (free, 150, 200, 500, etc.). Coins are used to purchase tools (400, etc.). Yet when you win a round you receive 40 coins. Forcing the user to purchase more coins constantly. 70,000 for $80. Additionally, the ad banners bog down your network work connection sometimes to the point your timed game runs out before you can complete. Good Once You Pass Beginner LevelsThe first couple dozen levels give zero challenge and I was nearly ready to give it up and delete the app. But I knew if I pushed ahead the harder it would be. Once you get past that threshold, it’s more enjoyable. I wish it was straight up like the Solitaire original stacks and would really make you think. There needs to be an option for it to be hard. Fun game, but can be expensive!This game is addicting, but not good if you are on a budget (unless you have more self control than I do!). PROS: *It’s a fun game—I love the lost words! CONS: *You can pay a monthly fee to reduce the ads, but you STILL get ads at the top of the game. *These ads interrupt what you are listening to on headphones. *Ads are a HUGE drawback from this game. *As you level up, the challenges become more difficult—which is good, but there is a “cost” associated with everything! *Need more cards/letters? After the first hand, there is an escalating cost for each batch of new cards. First batch is free, but after that, the price goes up quickly. *Pass a letter in the discard pile that would now work? You can go back—but there is an escalating cost for EACH card you go back. These add up very quickly! *The packages they offer for real money purchase aren’t all that great, and expensive to boot. Look, I have ADHD and impulse spending problems, so maybe you could be more successful at not spending a ton of $$ in this game, but I had to remove it from my phone. (TWICE, if that tells you anything about how much I love playing this game.) It just seems like a money grab, and that is off putting. I know these games are created to make the developers money, and they rightfully should get paid for the work invested. But the balance of money needed to play effectively vs. play time is skewed and feels predatory to me. I’d rather pay for a game outright (w/no ads after), and then have better package options. I’m sad I needed to delete this game again, because it really is my favorite, hands down. 😭 I’ve played other games by this app developer, and enjoyed them as well. Fun until it got too hardI’m up over 500 levels and I have really enjoyed the game. It’s been my go-to game to keep calm and I like that it’s also exercising my brain. I write down the words in a couple of books and focus my play on finding those words. So I have mini-wins just often enough. I love the way they do ads and have never felt barraged by advertising. My only complaint is that I play this for stress relief. So once it gets too hard, it becomes yet another stressor. I just got to the levels with the shuttered letters and that’s probably close to the end for me. I’m not having fun. It’s too hard for me now. ReviewI really enjoy this game. Thousands of words to find and it tests me to learn new words. However, on the 5th shelf there is a book “Ends With X”. The word TIX is listed but when I tried to use that word it does not register as a valid word. Unable to complete this book. Also, there are too many levels that have 2-4 X Y Z. This is way too many. Need more letters like CH. I would like to recommend that something is provided when using a wild card so you can pick the letter you want. Have used wild card to make words that have the letter Q and the word does not appear as one I can collect. I have only seen the actual letter Q one time. Great game!It’s a fun and challenging game. I got hooked the very first time I played it after downloading the app. My only issue is that the app makes my phone run really hot. I’m not sure why that is, but it’s one of the reasons why I’ve began to play the game a lot less (for safety reasons). Also, the ads aren’t intrusive since they only pop up after I beat the level, but I would consider getting the ad-free version if wasn’t an entire monthly subscription service. I’ve bought the ad-free version for many games, & it’s always been a onetime charge. So asking for $10 every month to remove ads is just a bit greedy to me. Love it but it keeps quitting on meI love this word game but lately it keeps quitting on me. I finish a game and then I get a black screen and can’t get back on. I have to come back to the app store and open from here and sometimes that does not work. I don’t want to delete and reinstall, I’m up at an advanced level and don’t want to start over. Too Many ADS!I installed this game just a couple of days ago and REALLY enjoy it as I am always looking for a different kind of word game. Initially it seems the interfering kind of ads … the ones that interrupt you and take “time” were minimal since ads continually run in a banner style at the top of the page. Since reaching Levels in the mid 60’s, however, the interfering big ads are popping up after nearly every level is completed. It takes away my enjoyment of the overall game and I wind up closing out the game as soon as one appears just in retaliation. Greed reigns againI don’t mind paying to remove ads if I really enjoy a game, and I like this game, so I paid to remove them, at least that’s what I thought. Turns out it’s only for 30 DAYS. Great app for word loversApp functions well and lots of fun. A bit addictive but good mind stimulation. I really enjoy the recently-added Daily Challenges and would like to see more like this :) Mini games would be a fun addition, too. My only complaint is the amount of ads - if you switch apps even for a second or your screen locks, it opens up an ad every time when you go back to the game, even if you’re in the middle of playing. ChallengingI’m very good at word games. I can never find a game that’s difficult enough to be fun for me. This game can be played by anyone, but it does offer some challenges. You can redo a level to get the bonus if you need. You also collect books along the way. Each book contains a themed list of words to collect for prizes. I’ve tried countless word games, and this is one of my favorites. What exactly am I paying for?The game was fun for the first couple of days. I even paid the $9.99 for ad free for 30 days which I thought was a little steep. But all that does is remove the ads in between every single level. The ad banners are still there and so are the videos you gave to watch for extra coins and other items. Paying that price should remove ALL ads. Even the banner ones on top which are distracting and in the way. Additionally, I’m now on level 118 and it won’t load. As a lover of word games, the gameplay here is actually quite varied, and as challenging as you want it to be; there are a number of different goals you can aim for (the “lost words” in particular keep me coming back). Fun and Mind TaxingI really like this game with the different levels and challenges to come up with words. It helps me to remember words I’ve forgotten due to cognitive issues. Fun game but constant adsThe gameplay is really fun, assembling words from letter boards. Lots of little twists to keep it interesting. The ads are constant although some are fairly short but many have no volume toggle and some are quite loud! Saw there was an update today adding the pay for no ads feature. Installed it and found PF wants a whopping $9.99 a month for no ads! 😳 Not sure if everyone agreed on this reach deep into our pockets cuz it shows $9.99 for 30 days of no ads, and also says it's a one-time charge. Best word/puzzle game I’ve seen.I enjoy the app and have spent many hours playing it. My one complaint is the constant banner ads loading in the background. They slow the game down considerably, freeze up and shut the app down every 5 or 6 levels. It’s especially frustrating when I have managed to accumulate lost words, which of course remain lost. Simulating game but poor vocabularyI love this game. It’s got so many automatic perks and is easy to jump right in and play. BUT…. It uses slang and text words and it doesn’t seem right when you’re playing a game that can expand your vocabulary. ET: past tense of eat. “Have you et yet?” Za: short for pizza. (And a teen in music) Cine: short for cinema. Those are just the ones I had in the last game I played. SMH: shaking my head 😜 I think it would also be better if the game tells you when you select a word and it’s not a “lost word,” to give you the opportunity to try a different word. Lastly, the game should allow a player to refer to the library of lost words during the game. I’m on level 1400, I’ve completed seven books but I’ve got five shelves of new books of lost words. Wordscapes Solitaire Word Game Negative Reviews

Too challengingI like the game. The hidden words gives me a goal to reach, which I always like in a game. However, some of the layouts make getting any hidden words impossible. Also, if I use a wildcard, sometimes I get one of the hidden words usually the one I'm going after and sometimes I not only don't get the one I'm trying for I don't get any. I think that if with the wild it can match any of the remaining hidden words, we should get credit for one of the hidden words, two examples I can think of right away is emu and chimp. With emu I think I used the wild for the M one time and once for the U and did not get it. For chimp I used a wild for the P. Any words with a Q apparently I have no choice, but to get the rest of the word and use a wild for the Q. Unicycle, and infinity seem impossible to get. I don't think it is right to have to use coin to go back to a card in the deck. The price on coins is insane, especially given how easy it is to go through them extremely quickly. Each hand that we win regardless of if we get the bonus we should at least get some coins for completing. Overall, I do enjoy the game. However, difficulty of getting hidden words is starting to seriously take away from the enjoyment and making me want to delete the game. Update- I deleted the game. It is more frustrating than it is fun. I tried once to get click and used a Wild for the last c that was the only wild used did not get it same thing happened when I had to use it for the last c in clock. WAY TOO MANY ADSYes, Game, where is fun, but there are way too many ads! You start off with being able to get bonus coins, and helping aids needing to watch videos for nearly all of them. It takes about 10 minutes just to be able to start the first game for the day because of the ads.. Then once you start more ads! So Disappointed! Remove Ads for Only 30 Days? Seems Like Greed to Me!Please let me start by saying that until now, I have loved EVERYTHING Wordscapes. I have paid for “ No Ads” on almost every title. I play most titles regularly, and love the daily challenges. I was so excited to see that they were soon to release a new title, Wordscapes Solitaire. I couldn’t wait to download it after release. In the initial release version (1.0), I noticed some of the features I love were missing (game sync, no ads version, daily challenge). No big deal….after the next release or two, I was confident that they would add them. This morning, I noticed an update had been released that offered a no ads add on. I eagerly updated, and planned to purchase it. Imagine my surprise when I saw that the ONLY no ads version was a whopping $9.99 (more than I’d ever paid for a Wordscapes no ad upgrade), but it was only for 30 DAYS!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Disappointed does not even begin to sum it up. It honestly feels like a rip off….I understand the need to pay for future development, but most of us are on a budget (especially in today’s economy), and can’t afford to pay $9.99 a month for one game, just to remove annoying ads. There are VERY few games I pay any sort of subscription fee (Microsoft games come to mind, but for $9.99 per YEAR, not per month), and I seriously question even that. Inaccurate scoringAs cool as this game is, it’s annoying when I happen to lose the WiFi signal , I pass the level and meet the challenges and the stars accumulate in the chest but not the leaderboard. In my previous play, I passed 3 levels that accurate in the chest, but not the leaderboard. How does it accumulate in one area but not the other I reached my limit with this game as you’re giving a challenge in which I need to get 700 points, 3 stars and make words starting and ending with certain things which isn’t difficult on its own, but saying start and end with O and then with the possible letters you’re giving makes any of that impossible to beat on a clock and high word challenge. None of that’s doable in that situation, I’m now done. With all the money I’ve put into the game on occasion and how you lowered for $10. ; you used to offer 6000 coins plus prizes, now lower to it 3000 and only a couple of each prize. I am done. Fin at first,but thenTe higher you go the harder they make it with letters that you have to play five times to get rid of that card and if you run out of draw cards, the first time you pay 150 coins, 250 the second time and even more if you need more draw cards. They give you a bonus of 40 coins for challenges such as finishing within a time limit, not using any 2 letter words, but the worst is getting 500, 700 points or more, then the letters don’t give you options to make high scoring words. You spend coins quickly, but don’t earn them very fast. I know they want you to buy coins in their store, but I play games for fun and being on a fixed income, I can’t afford add-ons. The game should be easy to play for everybody. Developers need to up the coin earnings and decrease the amounts of coins you have to spend to complete a level. Great game with bad issuesIt was a very good game at first however as you go up in levels the ads increase even worse. Ads were always one after each 2-3 minute game play, 30 seconds each. Some freeze the game or are very difficult to close. I found shutting my phone off was the only way out. I put up with it as the game was that good. Much more challenging than other word games. I went up in levels though there is no difference to the game except you need more tools as you tend to get less letters able to make words or high points. A few tools are free for watching ads once a day or you can buy them in their store. To get rid of ads for a month is $10. Too high but that's the cost. I would have rated this four stars even with all the ads when starting out but now they put pop up ads while you're actually playing a game, too! And it's not just one and they drop down from the top and you can't see your board. Clicking on the ad sometimes helps but like others stated, I suspect there is malware in some of their ads. Good game but I'm done with it for these reasons. The game crashes, too. Very frustrating when doing well on a difficult puzzle. Actual gameplay is great, but…OMG the pernicious and persistent ads. I know it’s expected and don’t mind watching the occasional ad for playing a free game, but this is way, way too much. Ads between rounds? Fine. The same ad replaying twice or three times between rounds and the endless hunting for the close button, that 90% of the time takes you to that game’s download page anyway instead of just ending the ad. Also, when I had to set my phone aside in the middle of my round, guess what? Unlock my screen to continue and surprise! More ads. Unfortunately, the more you play, the more the ads pop up until it’s an ad after every board. On top of that, there is a constantly changing banner at the top of the screen and it frequently makes the game lag as it switches from one banner ad to the next, and sometimes the banner drops down over the playing board for several seconds. $10 per month to go ad free is way too much. Good game, Ads are crazy.I like this game. It is fun, challenging, not too hard, lots of levels. HOWEVER, $10 US per MONTH to remove ads is absolutely insane. Paying $10 for a lifetime of free ads is pushing it. But to make it only last a month, is just not going to cut it. Good Game, but has Scamming AdsI really like this game as it is a good brain challenge, but lately I have been getting ads that are trying to scam me by opening up Safari (internet) on my phone on its own. When this happens, a new page opens that shows my information is being downloaded or some other threatening scam. Love but…I love this game. Challenging, but not frustrating. Lots of fun side quests. I laughed when I made a word having to do with an owl and the owl mascot popped in from the side and waved. Really cute touch. My one frustration is that I would like to be able to see more of the words I need to fill up the library books. The small list that’s available in middle of a round isn’t very helpful. Other than that, this game is great. ETA: too many problems with ads. The ads at the top of the levels open up on their own and disrupt the gameplay. Ads that are watched in order to get more letters often crash the entire game and make me lose all the lost words, points, coins, and boosters used in the level before the ad crashes.
