Great potential, but not perfect yetFirstly, this game is built very well. It’s a classic grind for resources game while also having an afk feature. On top of that, the game is very smooth and almost never glitchy(unless you have horrible wifi, but that’s a given). There are a few things this game needs to fix, but dont not download the game due to this, it’s a great game. 1. You should be able to get legendary or epic characters by collecting their own shards and combining them, it doesn’t make sense that you can’t. 2. Needs a lot more vital DC characters, and I know this takes time to add them to the game, but some have been added and players literally cannot unlock them. I’ve seen firestorm and killer frost in the game as level opponents, but not as playable characters. Like come on!!!! Also, you’ve added characters from things like creature commandos or the justice gang, but not every member of that squad. Where’s hawk girl for example?!?! 3. Make the DCU versions of characters skins instead of separate characters, we don’t need two Superman’s in the game lol 4.there needs to be an easier way to get blue shards as they are vital to ranking up characters. Maybe an afk collector at low rates unlocked after a certain level? That would seem fair. Anyways, this game is almost perfect, just put the frosting on the cake.Cdude.Version: 1.1.11

Cat Woman is NOT a part of the teamIt asked me to leave a review 3 minutes into it, but I do like the gameplay. It’s simple and something I can see myself playing more since I’m busier now and don’t have time to get to deep into the strategy. I couldn’t hear the voice acting in the opening cutscenes if there were any and Cat Woman showing up to the fight against the Crime Syndicate instead of anyone else lowkey pmo (Was Aquaman on vacation or something? And where is my goat Superboy?) Great Game With Great PotentialI think the game is really good and it’s clear there is effort that has been put into this. My biggest compliment to the game is the art style, I love the way the artists have stylized these DC characters. The game is flashy, animations look good, and again, all the splash art looks good. However, I can’t help but feel it isn’t as engaging for the player as it could be. Once you click on a mission, the characters essentially play the game for you, leaving the player just to watch the heroes do all the cool stuff. I really wish there was a way to actually go character by character on their turn and select their action from a selection of their 1-3 abilities and ultimates. Similar to how Marvel Strike Force does it. As a result of this, the game overall feels less strategic and engaging since your heroes will randomly attack the enemies without much input from the player. I think making this change would really take this game to the next level. Taking it from an idle RPG, to a much more satisfying “team tapper” that provides players with actual feedback from their decisions in battle. P.S. Good, but SlowYou will make rapid progress through the early stages of the game. The longer you go, obviously, the more resources it costs to progress. You do make slight progress every day, giving you a feeling that something has happened. Some complain about the rate of legendary pulls, but what do you expect from a game like this? Be happy with what you get. You can consistently pull “Epic” characters which are one step down from legendary. There is a cap on how many pulls you can do before you are guaranteed a legendary unit. As long as you go in understanding that you won’t be upset. The gameplay is more passive as you watch the characters make moves based on how you set them up. DC’s Answer to Marvel Strike ForceThis came as a suprise! Given that as I’m a comic book fan, I enjoy killing some time playing with the best Marvel Heroes against others, both popular and obscure characters! This is definitely going in the right direction as this is built very well with it’s systems and components! Though I can see them doing even more with it down the line especially with the DCU! (Of course we can implement the other supermen in the different universes) or at least a costume swap for the characters! A fun collector that is engagingI have played a lot of collector games and DC World Collide is one of the good ones. The game features role out in a nice pace that doesn't overwhelm, while also not making you feel stuck. Your daily tasks are easy to access and achieve, with the option of engaging in more gameplay and deeper story if you want. All of the character leveling and acquiring are intuitive and linked to achievements to encourage progression. Battles are fast, kinetically animated, with options to speed through or have a more turn based experience. Would recommend to friends.Noah4ducksVersion: 1.1.11

Fun game, terrible micro transactionsThe game is great. There’s plenty to do, tons to achieve the game is fun and amazing to play. I do really get bored of it and enjoy it. However the store is pathetic. There’s not a single chance any character should be worth $100. The micro transactions are way too expensive for what you get in return. It ruins and takes away most of the fun. I have recruited 120 times in featured recruitment and it’s been 2 weeks just to earn that in the game without purchasing and micro transactions. The game is fun and on the right track. It’s just the game doesn’t reward you for your time and they make it seem more valuable than what it is. Most fun DC game app out there.Rlly solid art work and the animations are incredible. I love the story cinematic and I love we don’t get the usual villains as the bad guys here. The gameplay is fun and rlly entertaining, you can tell the devs put hard work into the art, story and animations. Some IssuesI love the game. It really reminds me of DC Legends which I absolutely love. But it seems like there’s some issues with not being able to continue in certain areas of the game. I don’t want to say glitches because that doesn’t seem appropriate. There’s an issue with the Captain Cold story. I keep receiving a message saying it can not interface. Most other issues can be resolved by closing out completely and restarting the game. All in all a good and fun game. A fun DC gacha gameI had my doubts going in just based on the picture in the App Store, but you can’t judge a book by its cover. ReviewI like this game a lot, the only issues I have with it that will severely affect the games playability as a gamer that’s played many of these types of games before is 1. I am completely unable to find arena opponents even at 70k power. 2. I am not fond of the way the turns work, you have to order the characters ultimates in order as the team shares an energy bar, this means the characters in your 4th and 5th slots will almost never use their ultimates unless one of the top 3 characters die, this I feel leads to poor design and poor strategy as the last 2 slots just feel like filler positions, I will always prioritize my nuke characters over my tank abilities, which inherently makes all tanks less affective. I think the turn base system needs an overhaul it’s very odd and unclear, even when you turn it to manual they will continue to fight until you have clicked an ability which disrupts the flow of the battle and again you’re still going to be using the 3 nuke options over the tanks regardless. 3. There needs to be more f2p availability to unlock characters, there’s currently no way to consistently farm the epic/legendary pull cards, you can’t even buy them with gems..LouisoloVersion: 0.1.7

Started Out Strong, Every Update Makes It WorseStarted out as a really fun game, they actually gave you a decent amount of resources and it was easy to get epic characters that made your roster stronger to actually be able to clear stages. Once you get to lvl 150 it is an insanely frustrating grind trying to keep up with the pay2win players. Every update seems to be aimed at eliminating players who won’t invest hundreds of dollars. There hasn’t been a new worthwhile event since the first month of its release. Every new character or featured character they announce is not obtainable without spending money. If you missed a character when they were featured there’s a very small chance you’ll be able to obtain them later. Plus this game has so many bugs and “operation handling error,” notifications, that if I were paying money would have me demanding a refund immediately. I bought a few passes and some resources in the beginning but I felt incredibly ripped off by what I was actually able to get with $50. I’d avoid this one unless you want to spend a fortune and invest a ton of time..DocV_DOOMVersion: 1.1.12

Not for free playersYou want that new character featured in the current event? Oh you’re not going to spend any money? Forget it. You will NOT get that character unless you are extremely lucky. The only other way to get that character is to have 150 good summons which you will NOT have unless you saved up (impossible because they throw event characters at nonstop) or pay money. I have now tried to get the Batmobile, DCU Superman, Krypto and Peacemaker. I did every single daily every single day in their events. Never got any of them. The character leveling needs an overhaul. As it is now you need EXP, Gold and Titanium to level them. It is ridiculous to slow down game progression like this. You’ll likely be stuck for days on one mode or another because your characters aren’t powerful enough or they’re the wrong ones needed for that mode/stage. Too glitchyStarting off by prefacing I did put money into the game already. That being said, I regret it immensely. The game is very glitchy, to a point it ruins the experience. Game has frozen many times during the “campaign”, and in a few vs battles. Made a league, but can’t do anything in it for a week because I was previously in another one. The character draws are the same 5 or 6 people, the lowest class you can get. Once I paid for a pack, I got a good draw. Then back to nothing good. If there’s a character you want, good luck ever getting it. All the good ones are locked behind future events, and as the game is, I probably won’t be around for those events. Not to mention it has Home Screen cosmetics you can purchase (instantly a red flag). Hoping the game gets better, but as of now, there’s better options..URBANC0WB0YVersion: 1.1.10

Money GrubbyTLDR: Paid only Legendary Draws (rarely for free with challenges) and took away free QoL feature to make it paid. This game is EXTREMELY pay to win. Even in the very beginning the game was already leaning towards P2W with the Legendary characters locked behind a paid gacha and the Epics are the highest you can get with the earnable currency. You can do a few Legendary draws VERY rarely if you do some challenges that gives you a single draw. I was still willing to play the game at that point. Then they took away the auto-challenge feature and locked it behind a monthly payment. The game has barely been out and you already took a free QoL feature and made it paid?! You’re Warner Bros! You don’t need the extra money! It was one of the only good features about the game that I enjoyed and you took it within days of release to make it a paid feature..SZuko63Version: 1.1.10

It’s horrible after a month of trying it out, DC Skin on Raid shadow legends.An absolute paywall fest starts a few days in. Horrendous pull rates for legendaries, there are about 15 legends units which 11 are completely garbage. You can also buy a single legend unit for $30 which you will need 25 copies of to fully max out or about 2 years as a f2p player. Their answer to pushing new hero releases is nerfing old Legendary heroes, they recently completely screwed f2p or moderate spenders by changing Lex Luthor’s abilities completely tossing him in the garbage after spending tons of non refundable resources on ranking him up. You are shoved into guild rankings with guilds filled with pre global launch players completely screwing all the new global launch players. Dc’s new game: Not worth itThis game is basically a worse version of DC Legends, same sort of gameplay as those like Marvel Strike Force and DBZ Dokkan Battle. I could barely keep playing DC Legends, and this is even more boring. Great in the beginning, gacha garbage nowI installed this game on Day 1 and played nearly every day for a couple months. I don’t know if they changed the drop rate but I haven’t gotten a single epic or legendary character outside of the guarantee for a while. That quickly killed any drive to play.
