So Cute!!Not TOO overly inspired by Pokémon, which was an initial suspicion of mine when first downloading (still very clearly based-off of it though). Super cute! The art looks genuine (genuine to some extent — there are things I question, but seeing as there isn’t an oddly-placed extra finger or weird mismatched eye, I can’t be sure it’s completely AI), which is hard to find nowadays with AI-generated images all over the mobile gaming world. The amount of ads is pretty agreeable; you get decent time to play between each mandatory ad. This seems like something the devs fixed after a lot of negative feedback though, seeing as many past reviews complain about excessive ads. The gameplay is pretty much what it’s advertised as: collect trading cards, play mini-games and card battles to earn money, buy more cards. The gameplay loop seems basic, but it’s pretty good at being satisfying and fun each time — please note that I haven’t been playing for very long, so this could change. There doesn’t seem to be much pressure to buy in-game content or top-ups, but the option is there and occasionally pops up randomly. I’m pleasantly surprised! Good job, dev(s)! Honestly, greatThe game is simple but very well done. Card designs are fantastic, battles are simple, fast, and can be strategic. Mini games are okay, nothing special but a good way to earn coins for packs regardless. The only issue I kind of have, is the way you take picks off shelves, you don’t get to choose. And I’m not sure the packs are randomized, making it feel like every player will have the exact same experience you do every time. Kind of takes the joy of pulling a rare or epic card out of a pack because if you just buy x amount of them the shelf will be empty and you’ll have all the cards from that set. Makes the game feel very limited in lifespan. One thing I would like to see is evolutions. No need to change the game play mechanic for battling, would just like to see some cool cards have evolutions and waiting to pull that evolution get pulled. Overall I don’t think it will be able to compete with Pokemon TCG when it releases, it needs more RNG, rare cards need to FEEL rare, not just “okay if I buy 2 more packs I’ll get to the pack with that card I need”.JRodslegendVersion: 1.2.0

Good but-Good game. I share the same sentiments everyone else does. The Gold cards, the mushroom and the robot of set 2, are the only ones I’m missing. 15,000+ coins and 3500 gems and I’ve yet to get either one of them. I’ve got 15,000 trophies to the last tier possible and am unable to battle anymore. How do I get them aside from grinding mini games for hours on end. It’s redundant and ridiculous. I’ve pulled all the other ones so many times I’m tired of looking at them. Increase the drop rates for both of them, please. It feels like there’s no way to get them, and I’ve practically given up on this game because of it, because I’m only those two away from completing both available sets. I can’t wait for third one, but I’ll likely give up on the game if I can’t complete the second set because of the atrocious drop rates. Good game, bad ethicsThe game is very fun, I enjoy it quite a bit. The minigames get a little repetitive, but opening card packs and participating in tournaments is very fun. Its satisfying to fill out pages of the collection book, and the tournament system is fun and unique. I have one huge problem with it though. This game is chalked full of AI generated “artwork.” Its very obvious that a lot of these monster designs came from typing “new legendary pokémon” or something similar into the prompt box for an AI. I wouldn’t be surprised if every single image in this game is AI Generated. This game is fun! You’ve made a good experience, and clearly there’s going to be money in that. So, I implore the developers, please. Use some of the money you’ve made on this game, or your other games, to just pay some artists. It would make the game so much more enjoyable. Fun game but….Once you run through both sets of cards in the store and you complete the card battles not much else to do but mini games. Once you get to round 274 is a mojan tile game but how it’s set up you can’t solve it. Don’t think the developers planned that far out for the game. Looking forward to see what they do with the game. Until then I’ll just leave the game as unplayed until the next update. Update: so after rebooting the app a few times it fixed the level issue. I’ve all the common to legendary for set two but still missing cards for set one. I wish there was an option to swap the set packs between the others so you can try and complete the other set. Per the game sets 3&4 are in the next update along with what looks like a calendar icon. Not much to do until the next update. Good and badIt’s a fun little CCG collection game that scratches an itch. The art is fine for what it is. The minigames are an interesting break but are transparently a way to slow down your progress to pad out how little game there actually is here. The coin reward system is arbitrary since it always awards exactly the amount you need to buy the next pack (with the exception of the final pack in the tier which awards double, and the double reward for watching an ad). I think the funnest part of the game is the tournaments, however they only happen once a tier and you can’t repeat them at all. The ads are a bit too egregious, especially for how little you actually play this game, often appearing after every pack you open, but sometimes after 2-3 packs. There is a way to purchase an ad removal, but given how little actual gameplay is here, I don’t think it’s worth it..KayonesoftVersion: 1.1.5

I will say from a non ad buyer the ads are little crazy and can get annoying but idk for 3.99 you can buy no ads which is nice and isn’t to much. Atm there’s 2 sets with 2 new sets coming next update and 2 more sets coming soon so it’s nice to know more sets are coming and hope to see it keep getting updates. Also for more info game does little mini games where you gotta stack cards and even duels with the cards you have collected. Pretty good in my opinion (personal opinion)This game is perfect for someone who is a fan of any TCG it’s got that addictive feeling of wanting to open a shiny pack or seeing a really cool creature that has a nice design. It has a mode to then use those collected cards to fight in battles that satisfy to a certain extent. There is kinda a lull while you endlessly pull from a row of cards to open them and play the next game to get money. It would be nice to be able to choose which pack your opening even if just for the sensation of randomly picking something good but still it’s a new pack I’m eager to open it regardless. Good game but some issuesOverall it’s a fun game with a addictive theme, but it had too may ads so I spent 3 dollars for the no ads, which I appreciate as most games nowadays want you to have a subscription weekly or monthly for no ads. One thing I don’t like so far is that after I finished getting all the packs and I don’t understand how I can’t get new cards out of the packs after a certain amount of cards are collected. Another thing I don’t like is the battle mechanics where the “best prize” will be a card I already have, but if I don’t pull that card for the prize, it will continue being the same card despite me already having the same card. Good idea, bad creation, stealing art by using aiThe game on its own is okayish, it gives enough change to keep the player to want to play and collect more cards, but the biggest flaw is the lazy use of ai, I understand that some companies just can’t afford professional art for all of their characters since there’s hundreds of them and more, but the fact you used ai is the off putting factor that just makes me dislike the game, I think even with the budget in art department, you could at least make cartoony version. Where it’s even just the basics of the character design. Ad-Related Art ProjectThe game feels like someone created a lot of cool art pieces. Decided they wanted to make it into a game with a lot of ads. Then threw in some really basic mini games that you can’t lose, but you can also skip them with ads. I’m not even sure the cards are that random as the entire thing seems like a linear silent story. Open X packs, unlock better packs, repeat. If you just keep saving all your gems the store also upgrades as you upgrade. It is like if Pac-Man only had one slow ghost. The AI opponents also don’t seem very good and I don’t believe there is a multiplayer to this. That all said, excluding the ad banner that is at the bottom and some random ads after you win, the ads don’t seem all too bad. But the game does feel like it revolves around ads and artwork without real mechanics. The ideas behind the game are actually pretty good. Like, the concept of collecting toys, getting free packs or boxes… etc… but at the same time it all just feels like a gimmick ad game. Just…. Not all too poorly made as most are. Only one thing I don’t like about itIt’s a SUPER cute game, and very addictive as I am determined to collect all of the cards BUT- I cannot stand how the mini games never lose the tutorials… even after a couple HUNDRED levels, I’m still getting arrows telling me what to do on the same mini games I’ve been playing the whole time… I’m pretty sure I know what to do by now.. why won’t the arrows go away and let me play the games on my own now? Fun, but perhaps a little flawedThere's plenty of things to do in the game and the design and animations are great, but one thing that sticks out to me is that some of the art is very obviously AI generated. Not because of any errors mind you -- whoever wrote the prompt did so aptly and ended up generating some great results! -- but you can see slight differences in art styles between cards. Some like Nimbunny are more cartoony with some film grain, others like Mysthoot are much more 3D, and some like Brawlox are more of a modern anime look... The cards look great, but I would like to know what engine was used to generate these images. Besides that, I don't have any concerns/complaints. I'd like to be able to play game this knowing that these images were ethically generated and not building off of artists' work without their knowledge and/or consent. The designs of the characters are great! They're cute and unique, and the UI is clean and intuitive. Good butI really liked this game until it got updated. After you open a couple packs it shows you a pop up that says “special offer!” And you can watch a video. Well if you say no it will take you to the binders to put your new cards away. Which sounds like not a big deal but for me it is. My favorite part of the game was saving up a ton of coins and just getting to rip pack after pack until I ran out of coins then I could be done and put all the new cards I got away at once now with this pop up I can’t do it. Simple, Fun, and all around entertaining!After only now getting this game today I have fallen in love as the game offers a great entertaining experience with a verily low # of ads. This game is made up of three main aspects… one playing the mini games for money, two opening and sorting your cards and three fighting enemies which offers a fast paced simple yet still Somewhat strategic fighting experience. I really like it, but…Okay, so: this is a great game. Sure, it’s got a lot of references to copyrighted material,but it’s also still its own thing. It’s really satisfying for my ADHD, filling out the book and whatnot, and the mini games (although repetitive) have a sense of satisfaction in the repetition. There is one thing I hate, though: the arrows in ‘find the fake.’ Please, the minigame itself is already relatively easy. The arrows take the fun out of it. NOT a Pay to Play!I usually don’t do reviews but I had to on this one! This game has a lot of potential in regard to the battling side of things. So far after three days of playing I can definitely say this does NOT have to be a pay to play game! Could use a bit of fixes, otherwise perfectI love this game! It’s exactly what I was looking for, and the mini games were a nice unexpected touch (I don’t mind them being repetitive). Despite the fact that most of not all the card art is ai generated, I still like the designs and don’t mind it. I only have a few minor problems, some I’ve seen in other reviews, some I haven’t: 1. Problem: I personally felt there were too little tournaments. Solution: Add more or make it so you can replay them. 2. Problem: Resetting back to common after buying all the legendary packs. Solution: make it so you can choose the rarity after opening all boxes of a set. 3. Problem: Too many duplicates. Suddenly Intrusive AdsThe game is certainly fun for me. Opening packs and building a collection is a big part of the fun for me, and though the mini games aren’t impressive they are good enough to continue doing and the tourney gameplay is both simple and fairly fun. It’s not complicated it’s fairly relaxing, until the banner AD at the bottom of the screen started popping up and taking half of my screen every 60 seconds or so. It makes doing anything in the game less enjoyable by a large margin, I’m not spending 2 bucks at the chance to remove them, because I feel like this is predatory in nature and I’d rather just uninstall. Great!It’s a really good game, I love swiping through cards and getting new characters. I finished set 1 and I’m almost done with set 2 but I need 1 or 2 regular cards and 4 gold and 5 alternative, But my issue is everytime I open a card it restarts me. I was on the epic cards about to get to the legendary cards and once I opened my last epic pack it completely restarted me back to common cards, and it does this randomly I’ll open a the FIRST pack and go to open a second but it restarted back so instead of opening 4 more I have to open 5 more…AGAIN. Fantastic Idea!I’ve been playing this game for 2 days and have almost got all the cards collected (about 5 Hrs off/on). Really wish there was a way to upgrade the card you own with duplicates you collect because some of the low level cards look super sick. This game is so addicting!So I saw the ad of this game in another game I was playing and I was quite interested so that’s why I downloaded it. Fun until set 2The game was fun for the first set and the beginning of the second set. After you buy all of the first shelf of cards it has you re-run it but without the reward at the end, and this is where I’ve had problems. It continuously resets my progress in the shelf so I only get the common cards that have no chance in getting me the rare ones I need to complete the set and move on to the third book. Everything is AI generatedI love the concept of games like this. I haven’t played this much, but the general idea is amazing. A good classic card collection that’s clearly Pokemon inspired. I have no issue with the game itself so far, but the monsters are SO CLEARLY AI generated which is just disappointing because it’s so obvious and so many parts of them simply don’t make sense. Feet, tails, placement of limbs, even the names seem AI generated. There’s a constant banner ad at the bottom, pop ups, and you can watch ads for things so I know they’re making enough money to pay someone to design their cards. It’s just sad. The monsters would have so much more life to them if they were made by a person. As someone in school to become a graphic designer, this kind of stuff is just so disappointing. Sure, use it to get ideas for things to make (actual graphic designers oftentimes DO use AI for inspiration), but HIRE AN ARTIST to actually design the final product!! No feedback whatsoeverInstead of writing a review, I emailed the developers regarding issues with the game in hopes of avoiding negatively reviewing the app since it’s a very fun game and I do want more time and effort put into the app. Unfortunately, I have not heard back from them and it’s been very disappointing. My biggest issue is that after the game crashing or having to force close the app, you lose just about all your gold. Tedious grinding for gold gone in the matter of seconds. As well as hitting a wall in cards you end up pulling and just get repeats even though you still have plenty of unfilled pages in the books. I don’t think I’ll contribute any more of my time or money into the game until at the very least the gold issue is fixed. Incredibly fun until it hits a wallI loved this game so much at the start. Opening packs and sliding new cards into the binder is so fun and satisfying. But, as others have pointed out, once you move past Set 1 there is no way to go back and complete it outside of random cards showing up in the store. Game is good, but the recent update deleted my progressIt’s easier to get cards you’re missing now and get multiple packs at once, but before the update I was maybe 15-20 cards away from completing deck 1 and 2. The entirety of deck 2 was reset and at least a quarter of deck 1 was reset.
