I cannot believe how good this isThis game has exactly what I loved about the 2000’s reboot trilogy and expands on it in really creative ways. The last console I owned was a PS2 in 2010ish and my favorite game to play was Warrior Within. When I saw this had come out on mobile I decided to give it a try before buying a switch or PS5. I cannot believe how good it is. The soundtrack, the puzzles, the story. It is so rich. You can customize difficulty as you progress. I used the recommended difficulty and found it appropriately challenging without wearing me down. I reached 30% before ordering my first Bluetooth controller and I’m hooked. The world is massive. I’m listening to the soundtrack every day in my car. I cannot believe how familiar the game feels to the 2000’s trilogy, considering it’s 2D metroidvania. I have to get a console now and play every single PoP game. This has really got me back into it completely. I’m at 40% and have made a conscious decision to not watch walkthroughs. It’s more enjoyable when I solve a puzzle or complete a task. There are a few little bugs with the mobile version but it is light years better than most mobile games I’ve played. Specifically, I noticed that after I connected a Bluetooth controller, my memory shards stopped displaying. They are blank now even if I disconnect the controller or delete them and remake them. Also when I go back to just using my touch screen, buttons are missing and will not return. So I have no choice but to complete the game with a controller, which is not a problem because it’s way better with one. Those are the only issues I’ve noticed. Really incredible game. Great Everything!!I’m someone who’s looking for a chill game. The type of game where I can kick my feet back and relax and enjoy the moment. Prince of Persia was that on my console, and now it’s on my phone. This is my first introduction to a side swipe metroidvania. The game knows what it is, and doesn’t try to overwhelm me with too much detail, graphics or npc’s. It’s perfect. And it doesn’t burn my phone which is a plus too. But gaming aside, I love the cultural detail they put into this! As an Iranian, this is the ONLY game in western history that goes so deep into Persian mythology. I knew some things, but I’m still surprised to even more detail. Details that even I didn’t know. And having the option to have Persian subs and dubs is the cherry on top. Childhood fav! Bug reportI love the game and can play from my iPhone 13 fine (some cut scenes are laggy though) but if I try to play it on my iPad (9th gen) I press claim to download the full version and it crashes. Sometimes it will start to download but still crash about a quarter of the way into the download. I’ve hard rebooted my iPad and the same happens. I reinstalled the app and the same thing happens. I did notice that if I use my controller that when the claim full version pop up appears I still can select different options from the menu but none will open. There are words the cover each other on the claim full version pop up for a little bit too. I’m thinking that 2 things are wanting to show at the same time and it’s causing the crash. Please investigate this devs so I’m able to play, thank you. 😁 Update: after recent update the app still has the same issue. I followed the same troubleshooting I did before. IPhone 14 Pro Max worksThe demo allowed me to install this game on iPhone 14 Pro Max, and it runs flawlessly yet the full game says it’s for iPhone 15 or 16 only. If anyone wants it on iPhone 14 Pro Max then it allows the demo to install, and play and then gives the option to buy full game from inside the demo at the finish. I didn’t buy full game but it does seem as that’s the glitch to get full game installed with iPhone 14 models, and since the demo runs flawlessly it proves all these modern games should not be locked behind iPhone 15 or newer because the 14 is more than powerful enough, and this demo running flawlessly proves the devs are intentionally locking out older iPhones which are more than capable of playing..ChristopherTheTruthVersion: 1.0.0

I'm addicted to this game！！Initially, I didn't have high expectations for this game, but then I got hooked! I played for 25 hours in a week. The game runs stably, my phone doesn't overheat, and the various optimizations for touchscreens, along with the excellent boss designs and storyline, all demonstrate the developers' dedication. Amazing game and happy it’s on iOSI originally wanted to purchase this game on PC but was waiting for a sale when I saw that it was on iOS for $10, I couldn’t help but buy it and I’m glad that I did. I have a Backbone control controller and it worked flawlessly. The game is so fun. It’s challenging. The puzzles are great and the storyline is good too. The only issue I ran into is during cut scenes. The audio sounds a little funky, and the visual quality seems downgraded for iOS versus PC. Other than that it’s solid. I would definitely recommend. Great game - UI glitchedI have loved the game. Pretty amazing for a mobile. The biggest problem that I have is that I switch between a controller and the regular interface depending on the situation of life I am in. For some reason there is a glitch which disables functions if the mobile UI if you start using a controller. Right now the game for me is pretty much u playable for me because I am missing elements of the UI. Searched on Reddit for a solution but apparently it a glitch that has been in the game for quite some time. That is the only thing holding me back from rating it the full 5 stars. It constantly freezes when attempting to complete challenges with Artaban, or it crashes on the loading screen without actually loading. Terrible game. Terrible company.The recent release of Prince of Persia is a huge letdown for Apple gamers. One of the biggest strengths of gaming on Apple devices is the Apple Gaming Ecosystem—the seamless ability to pick up your game across Mac, iPhone, iPad, and even Apple TV. Games like Resident Evil (except Village), Death Stranding, Sniper Elite 4, and Dredge have shown just how well this can work, with single purchases and smooth cross-device progress sync. Unfortunately, Ubisoft is completely disregarding this. They’re treating iOS/iPadOS and macOS as separate platforms, requiring separate purchases and offering no cross-progression—even through Ubisoft Connect. This goes against everything Apple has been working toward. With the tools Apple provides, it’s easier than ever to develop games that run across their entire ecosystem with minimal tweaks. It honestly feels like a cash grab—forcing Apple gamers to buy the same game twice, without even the courtesy of synced progress. That alone is frustrating, but the lack of basic progress sync is what makes it even worse. There’s just no excuse for this in 2025. Plenty of other devs, from small indies to big studios, are doing this right. Ubisoft’s approach stands out for how anti-consumer it is. Fragmenting the Apple Gaming Ecosystem is like releasing a game on Xbox Series S and X but treating them like different consoles that can’t share save data. On that front Microsoft, PlayStation and Nintendo have set the standard for platform consistency—Apple should be holding developers to that bar too I wish there were a clear way to send feedback to Ubisoft, but the only option I can think of is to leave a negative review on both the iOS and Mac App Store versions, clearly explaining the lack of universal purchase and progress sync. Crazy difficultyIt’s fun but their levels make me think the developers are somewhat sadistic. The main character has to dodge unpredictable movements of spinning blades for like 20 times. One touch of the blade at 19th time, you start over. Even at the easiest difficulty level, you have to repeat the moves like 100 times before you can get over it.
