I like this app, especially the weatherwise home in the new widgets on the home screen. I wish you can like zoom the radar on the home screen like the widget like zoom it in to the radar wherever you want and you can like add the weather for your home on the weather thing and you can see the alerts and then you get notification When an alert happens I think that would be very beneficial and see future radar but honestly, this app is really good. I love this app and version and the radar widget can refresh automatically and there’s like a pet mode so you know when storms are coming and like so your pets are like not scared because they have storm anxiety And it gives you like a notification so your pets aren’t scared And you can like see if there’s like storms developing in area and will alert you

I love this app I first downloaded this app when I tried radar omega I didn’t like it as much so I went on safari and search up good weather app. Weather wise pop up I was like ooh what is this app and I realized this app is good and have the same ability that radar omega had. I was jumping by and screaming that I can finally track severe weather without using expensive apps! If you reach it this far to be honest I was gate keeping this app until I was watching Ryan hall hall live stream April 28th he shoutout this app I was like” nooooo” but I am still glad this app finally get the recognition it’s deserved I love this app and I can’t wait for the future update with what I heard on the live stream and I will definitely used the yall mode when it comes out.

I ditched RadarOmega for this app. It’s better in ALMOST every way. But there are just a couple of features I miss from that other app. First, I would love to see WeatherWise incorporate a feature that allows the user to draw a line or plot points, enter the current speed of the storm cell, and let the app show the estimated arrival time for locations on that path. This is a critical safety feature when tracking severe storms and tornadoes. I would also love to see an animated satellite loop instead of just the latest image. Finally, it would be great to have forecast models like hrrr, gfs, etc. I hope these things are in the pipeline, because this app is really that close to being perfect! Keep up the great work!

A great new Mobile or Desktop Weather App from the Ryan Hall Weather Group and It’s most devoted and Professional Weather Staff. To my knowledge this is the most complete and reliable Weather Company that I have seen. I love the app for so many different reasons that I can’t begin to explain, but the addition of the widget has changed my opinion a little. I was disappointed when there wasn’t a widget to quickly look at. Now that it’s added it’s focused on a part of the country that is not my home. I have my location set and I am even sharing my location. Yet it’s focused on a completely different area. Other complain is while on the app all the information takes up all the screen and it’s not clear on if I can just look at the map. Other than that, I love all of the features that are available for free users.

You can’t even keep up with all of the additions and updates the WeatherWise team puts out. This app is a superpower in the weather space and the level of functionality that you get in the free version is worth five stars alone. Everything I was hoping for when I first downloaded the app some months ago has been added. The only thing I would ask for at this point is a more flushed out how-to-use section because there are just so many things to look through now.

I love the radar . All the features are good and unlike most radars it’s free with all these features like velocity radar for one example . One feature that I hate tho is the time playback. It only shows last scan and past scans and not future forecast unlike various other free radars and if this feature was added I could have better accuracy with storm chasing then looking at the past the determine the current path. But overall this is a good radar

This is the best weather radar app I’ve use by far, and it probably will never change. I’m super interested in weather and I like to look at the radar whenever there’s a storm. I’ve used at least 10+ weather apps in the past and they either needed a subscription to use the radar, or the radar was one of those smoothed radars. The fact that this app is completely free and is still the best (in my opinion) even without the subscription, is absolutely insane. Keep up the great work!

I tried several other apps from carrot to weather underground to the default iPhone app and none of them provide what you get here. Finally something that lets you get data when and how you want! And just the data! No nonsense or dumbed down “what happened 15 minutes ago” maps. Did I mention it’s free?!? The only thing it’s missing is making my wallpaper a live map of my location haha. Best weather app by far not even close. Thanks Ryan Hall Yall for suggesting it.

I’m learning meteorology at a young age because it’s what I dream of doing, I tried and tried, and searched and searched for a weather radar that has good GUI, gets updated, and is overall great quality, and I found weather wise. It is absolutely amazing for beginners and even professionals. I will always use weather wise as I continue learning, but please incorporate some features for streamers, thank you for the hard work you do weather wise team.

I installed this app whenever radar omega would crash, and it didn’t disappoint. For a free radar app this is amazing. It’s a little bit confusing to customize but once you know how it’s a great app. I would like to see more customization like radar omega and a guide on how to add color tables or add a bit more to pick from. And add the satellite loops. Overall it’s amazing and I see this being the most popular weather app in the future passing radar scope.

I have tried almost all the weather apps over the past 10+ years. I was excited to get this app after seeing Ryan Ya’ll using it. But, you do not get the version he uses. I guess it is coming eventually? They continually make updates. With all the new added radars, it gets a little overwhelming for me. Simpler the better, for me. The biggest drawback is that there is no future radar, especially at the “Pro” level subscription, which is pretty pricey. I still prefer Radar Omega.

This app was created by people who care about spreading important weather information without demanding money for it. It provides the most free functionality of any radar app I’ve seen. Reflectivity, velocity, correlation coefficient, and more all available for free. Also shows all watches/warnings of course as well as NWS outlooks. Very customizable as well with the ability to change the radar and warning color pallets. Love it!

As a long time weather enthusiast, I have been waiting FOREVER for a high quality radar app that is really truly free. This is that app. Amazing information, no ads, and the ability to customize a lot of things. Definitely can be overwhelming at first, but it’s worth it to dig into the app and figure it out. The hazcams and storm chaser features are a nice add-on too. I have and will continue to recommend this app to everyone I know.

I am by no means an meteorologist but find enjoyment in the weather. I have gone through basically every radar/weather/forecast app out there and WeatherWise is by far the best app yet. It gives you the detailed radars that are beyond my knowledge but also gives me more of the “simple” views that I need. The free version is fantastic and as a courtesy to the developers, I’m considering paying for the pro version as this app is awesome.

Has almost everything you might ask for in a radar app, and its almost entirely free! You’ll get all of the information you need to effectively track storms, plus some additional items if you’re willing to pay a small amount, but even without paying you’re still more than set to look at storms coming your way or just any storm in general.

This radar app is the best than any other radar app, even RadarScope! I have so much tools at my accessibility to track and predict storms and severe weather. I love that you can see other storm chasers, street cameras, and can see the fronts all in one! And the best part? It’s completely free and you don’t have to pay for a radar with more subscriptions like RadarScope! 10/10 best radar app out there.

I watch Ryan hall and he recommended this app, it's a very good radar app that uses the national weather service's radars. I use this all the time unironically and I sometimes use this as a forecasting app, the best part... it's free. Way better than radar omega which was 8.99, premium is only 2.99 a month. My only complaint is the ui, I wish it was better and easier to read. Overall 4.5 out of 5, highly recommend if you are looking for a radar app.

Oh my, I love how I can link my location with yallbot and Ryan, especially someone living in Clarksville TN. (Nicknamed the chat capital if the world and the center of the universe) One of Ryan’s helpers live here! I met her shopping. I gave up my dream since I was 2, to be a pilot, in 2024. I realized the danger. Without them, I would never have been able to realize I wanted to be a meteorologist. (MAN I JUST TOLD YALL HALF OF MY LIFE STORY-) Thank you all for giving me this opportunity.

Weather Wise is one of the top of not the top weather app I have used! Coming from a YouTuber that does severe weather coverage I use WeatherWise over any other radar, it updates frequently and is very affordable! It is free to get and then only $70 a year for the plus subscription and $160 a year for pro! This is definitely a top tier app and I would definitely suggest it to everyone!

This app took from previous top tier weather apps and refined them. The user interface is spectacular. 90 percent of users are content with basic radar. I on the other hand like to delve a little deeper into storm make up. They added HRRR and fall foliage maps for free. I’m waiting for a fishing forecast 😂. I actually would have paid for the basic app but didn’t have to. Great job!

As a weather enthusiast, I have gone through many different apps trying to find the best one. Radar Omega and Radarscope are great options except they cost money. Weatherwise is the best radar app I have ever used. Its multi platform, lightweight, and extremely useful with multiple different tools. As an added bonus, a feature I requested through their feature requests was actually added to the app for everyone to use! If you ask, they will listen.

I’ve been looking for an App that offers a realm of weather information of all kinds. Ran across Weather Wise app and figured I’d try it out. Boy am I glad that I did. OUTSTANDING App, their Help Desk is extremely knowledgeable, fast response and just darn outright OITSTANDING. I’ve always been fascinated by weather and THIS app does it all. Im hoping to upgrade to the PLUS version in the near future. Would LOVE to get the PRO Version but it’s out of my affordable budget. HOWEVER this app STILL rocks and I’ll keep recommending people to purchase it. Thank you for your hard work in creating such an intense app with so much data availability! Tom P

Hey, some feedback. I think you should add when a warning or anything pops up blinking it should also come up on the screen so that you are aware instead of having to go find that new warning that could be done blinking you can press X on the new warning that pops up. Love this app!

This is probably the best free weather radar app I’ve used! But I have an issue with the watches and warnings tab. Whenever I try to open the tab, the app crashes then restarts (I do use an 11 year old iPad Air so it might just be the age of the device). If you can fix this problem please do.🙏

This is my go to app during storm season. As someone who doesn’t have a background in weather it wasn’t the easiest to get used to, but Ryan Hall gave a useful rundown in a weather live stream one evening that helped me get setup and make it useful because I knew how to read what I was looking at.

This has everything and more could have not asked for anything better. Most apps make you pay big bucks. This is different. Weather wise might as well set the standard for weather radar in 2026.

I absolutely love this app and all it offers. You can use it for free or upgrade and have even cooler features. No matter what way you go, you will have the info you need to be prepared in any weather situation. Don’t be scared, Be prepared!! Just download it already!!

So I went into the WeatherWise app and it loaded absolutely nothing. It was totally blank. No button options, no weather view, nothing. Just the blank map. Apparently I can’t have wi-fi and cell phone data on at the same time. If I do it won’t load correctly.

Whatever you want weather related (live and accurate radar with replay, watches, warnings, mesoscale discussions, information, locations and roads, quick and easy to use), this app has it all. Perfect app for amateur storm chasers and weather lovers!!! Get this app if you want the best weather app!

This app is steadily improving with great support and response to feedback. There is an option to subscribe for even more features but no other free app currently provides the same level of configuration. My prediction is this will be the one everyone starts using and talking about during severe outbreaks.

This app is a great free radar app! It gives you all the stuff RadarScope and RadarOmega have but for free! It’s always better improving everyday and the app keeps getting better and better! I really recommend you download this, and WeatherWise yall have done something amazing here. Keep it up!!

A very good weather app, but not for a beginner not familiar with the various models, modes, etc. Also, when I report my location, I would like it to “stick” for more than 20 minutes. If I turn off the app, then my location can reset.

After watching Ryan Hall, I decided to give this a try and man I wasn’t disappointed. There’s so much useful information and different maps and views you can use. Being able to watch other storm chasers streams in real time is cool too.

The free version works really well and I’m looking forward to features being added. There is also a paid version that adds more features, but the free version has what most people would want.

Radar, correlation coefficient, NOAA convective outlooks, you can pick the radar site! And that’s the FREE stuff! I messed up when I signed up for premium (typo in my email address). Contacted support and it was fixed in under five minutes! Can’t praise it enough!

This is by far one of the best weather apps I’ve used. Very accurate and live data as well as features that professionals have. Live feeds, streams and updates. If you live in a place that has severe weather. This app is a must have.

Best overall app on the market. And love all the multiple updates. For a future update, any chance we can see storm risks in the current alert tab? Considerable, destructive, pds, observed tornado, etc? Always looking for this and would be great if possible. Keep it going and thank you.

Just started using this app a couple days and already it is part of my weather arsenal. I can’t wait to test the storm chaser mode this year and become part of the spotter network.

This is better than other apps like radar scope Because this is free it has Velocity radar radar scope nah you have to pay a lot of money like oh my God i’ve been using it for a while now

Its simple, precise and like others radars but its free! No need to pay anything to have access to radar! Also there is a mode iv’e been searching for a while: the velocity. As a storm lover, velocity is very important to identify the possible tornadoes and weatherwise is the only app I know that probides velocity for free. I recommend this app to all storm lovers ⛈️⛈️!

This app helps because there’s so many good things, including looking at the weather in Canada and United States mostly most of the stuff is in Canada or the United States

The app is great for both the United States and Canada. As someone from Canada, it’s hard to find weather radar apps that are free or low-cost, include watches and warnings, and can show so many possible tilts for radar. I have yet to find a better radar app than this. However, for whatever reason, even when I select different units for altitude, it’s still measured in kilofeet regardless. Please fix this. Additionally, it would be helpful to be able to change the tilt without needing to open the radar menu every time. Other than that, the app works very well, and I would highly recommend it.

So the app looks good at first but when I open the app it was so hard to use it was so laggy I could only get halfway through the beginning process I like that they include Ryan hall y’all but I can barely use it because of lag if they fix the lag the state will be five star instantly but I can’t even use the radar it’s so laggy I can’t click on anything and I’ve had to close it like 1 million times and I’ve only got to work twice so fix this and hey it’s a good app but right now no it’s too much lag

No future projections, if I need to see the current weather I can go to a window, but I’m checking the weather to find out what is going to happen, not what has already happened. App is terribly organized, most functions seem to partially work but are so poorly explained you need a degree in meteorology or a lecture from ChatGPT to understand it. Blown away that Apple Weather has more features than this, like future forecast.

Have had this app for months & it’s just sittingl therr data mining because you never see temperatures nor is it showing ss an option anywhere in thr app onky outlook yet that doesnt show anythjng except the location woth map borders . Thrrrs always over 300 alerts and it won’t allow me to customize u less I pay . Even under options thete is none for temperature . Had to finally delete as it was taking up too much tkme trying to look up forecast where we were traveling .

Um why do I need to see alerts for the entire US? I want just my area or even just my state. It seems there is no way to do this and the only way to remove the 400+ warnings/alerts is to turn them off completely which is counter-intuitive for a weather app…🤨 UPDATE: Thank you for the response, I found the menu you for setting for the weather alerts widget it says “There are no settings available for this widget”…

Nice that it is free with a fair amount of features only complaint is that there is no warnings for canada
