BEST. GAME. EVER!I literally downloaded this game today and have been playing it for 3-4 hours straight! No doubt this is the best game ever! I like that it makes you feel like an actual ranch and race horse owner! I also like the fact that you can hire the jockeys and breed and raise the horses. Could you make getting stables easier too? Klover stables (My ranch named after the pony I used to ride and yes it's spelled with a K in the beginning) needs new horses. My horses are just too old now so they can't compete in the special race that requires the horse to be at a G1 level by age 3 or 4. Could you also add chestnuts, golden colored horses (that I think called bays) and horses with patterns like appaloosas, paints, and knabstruppers? Also could you add Seabiscuit to the game? Like you could by him for 10,000 gold or something? I LOVED watching Seabiscuit and it would be great to have him in the game! I’m so addictedI only download in this game probably about five hours ago but I have been playing nonstop. I can’t put it down. It’s fairly easy to get from the beginning pretty self-explanatory. And the race is where you come from very last end when your neck exhilarating. Always keeping me on my toes. The only thing is I can’t figure out how to tell which sex the horses is and I can’t breed it because I don’t have two matching pairs which I don’t understand what that means. Addictive!This game is so fun and addictive. I started playing it years ago and rediscovered it when I went to factory reset an old smartphone. I forgot how fun the game is! It keeps you engaged, requires strategy and a little luck, and best of all - NO ADS OR IN-APP PURCHASES. This is an excellent game!I've played some of the other horse games and they have nothing on this. Yeah sure you have to buy it up front but then there's no micro transactions and it's just a great game. There's no waiting aspect that you need to pay to go through. It's just a fantastic game. HmmIf you do your research and scour the internet (or the App Store Page) for reviews on this game, you’ll see that most of the reviews label the game as hard. That’s a complete lie. This game isn’t hard... it’s slow. None of the Kairosoft games are hard. You can’t “lose” in these games. You just earn far less than you spend in this one. Structures cost upwards of a hundred dollars and you only earn 100 or 200 IF you win a race... and sometimes you won’t. The given allowance is spent quickly on new horses and training structures. It’s not reliable unless you’re content with saving a lot (of money). Maintenance costs about 100+ early game and it’s a constant cycle, so if you don’t win at least once before the next cycle, you’ll be in the negatives. In addition, items cost upwards of 100 as well. Prices rise the more items you buy. And of course there’s the obvious concern: horse lifespans. A horse is done by year four. Their stats decrease so they’ll lose the race — and if you don’t make first place, you get less than $100. Races can’t be scheduled rapidly either. So you don’t get paid rapidly — only in $100 chunks once per month. People coming to your ranch spend about $10-20 and only come when you’ve won — if you lose your streak, you lose your only source of constant income. Selling a horse gives you about $1000. But then you spend that $1000 on another horse. Therefore, in order to progress, you must manage your funds carefully— meaning months or even years without spending anything on any major progression. The secondary currency, coins, can’t be spent often since you have to discover an upgrade before buying it. Races are fun but become mediocre after hours of them. Even when you win. Since horses are temporary and you don’t unlock breeding until late game, you have to level up your horse faster than the previous one or you’ll just be stuck. You’ll have hit a wall. The three stars I rate here are basically fueled by my love of horses and the sales price of $0.99, which were barely enough to keep me interested. No wonder the $0.99 sale has stayed past December (winter sales). I was drawn in by that sale. But don’t be fooled — unless you like progressing at a crawl or you love horses enough to be okay with many, many races before you progress..Dreaming of WolvesVersion: 2.02

Fantastic game!I'm not sure if it's better than Kairosoft's other iOS games, but I feel this has the best replay value. I've played four full times now. Normally I only do one or two games from start to finish. On another note, I'm so glad Kairosoft released this. The company is by far my favorite game manufacturer. I do a search every few weeks for the next one. When Dream House Days was released I was terrified that Kairosoft had gone the way of the "freemium" and we'd never get another great paid game again. This game is very fun!I've been playing this game for several hours and I've got to say that for a horse game, its very well made and Finn if you're into this kind of genre. However, I feel as if it is missing some key components to make it an even better game. The breeding is lacking in some areas. There are only a few breeds to choose from number one. Number two: you can't tell what sort of stats the mares have when you go to look for a breeding partner. This is rather frustrating when breeding for a better horse. Moving on, everything else is very thought through. I'm glad you can continue playing after the initial story as I rather like games like this. Overall, I feel like this game was worth the money I payed. I've certainly gotten my hours worth out of it! I never write reviews...butOther than the fact that they are highly addictive, there are 3 main reasons you should love Kairosoft games, 1. They are all no more than around 20 megabytes tops. 2. None of them use data. 3. They use less battery than any other games I've played on my phone. (5s) Those are all epic wins in my book. I also must say I am a huge fan of games with good graphics on ios and kairosoft proves that the graphics don't make the game. It took me a long time to finally try game dev story and I was pretty much instantly hooked. I've since bought pocket stables, (amazing) grand prix story (good so far) and just got dungeon village which I will most likely love. 10x better than My HorseThis game is amazing you can race grass and dirt , you can even win the triple crown ! I <3 Kairosoft!This game is fantastic! For so long, I've been searching for an ios horse racing & breeding sim game, and Kairosoft came through! I raise and race horses in real life, and it makes me upset that there aren't more sims for horse racing. This game is amazing and by far my favourite of Kairosoft's games, though I love them all. I only wish that there was the option to copy a horse or transfer it to another save slot and start the game that way. FantasticFor someone like me who is absolutely in love with smooth, realistic graphics this game is a huge exception. Love it!!!!This is by far the best horse racing game EVER! I love it! The only things I wish you could do was possibly have more variation of coats, like paints, Appaloosas, and palominos, and race fillies, and have the Triple Crown for fillies in it! Best of the Kairosoft ‘competition’ gamesI have many of kairosoft games, this is my favourite of this style, but all are fun. Pocket academy is my all time favourite but it is more building. This game is all about breeding horses until you get the ones with the best stats, and upgrading trainers to train the horses to improve stats. Sounds simple but it’s actually pretty fun. Needs more polishing, more strategy...Sadly, I really do like kairosoft. However, this game for its hefty tom of a price tag of $3.99 feels unwarranted and a cheap ploy into buying another 'business' management/sim game they are very popular for. Same set up like their previous games. Except this story is about ponies and wasting a handful of your time breeding super equistrians as opposed to training champions. The npcs offer little to no advancement (granted, none of the horses you breed midgame can utilize the skills anyways.) There is even a capping point on crappy trainers. At which point, by a majestic fluke, you can hire another trainer by through another season. Other things to denote: replay is low. You get to transfer w/ two items (skills or items) and no grand champ horse. Plus fast mode, which sadly makes playing the game a whole lot funner... (Sadly. :( ) There isn't much I like about this title and granted I usually rate kairosoft between 3-5 stars on my other reviews.
