Kairosoft does it again!Once you start playing a kairosoft game you can’t stop until you perfect your run. I love the games so much boxing gym story ninja village and game dev story are top tier in my book I’ve sunk almost 300 hours combined with these games. The UI is very small and very janky but for the amount of content they fit into one game it’s totally acceptable. Very few developers put in the love and care kairosoft puts into crafting each of their games. Ninja Village is the magnum opus. Not only did they add in an entire building sim tycoon but they put in Roguelike elements by giving you a time limit and not only allowing but encouraging reruns. The other part of the game is an army fighting sim with strategy elements. not only do they pull off these mechanics in such smooth mind blowing fashion with very unique inspiring and funny pixel art but they even added in a map conquering mechanic to the game. Kairosoft seriously just trying to categorize this game into a genre would do it a severe injustice! The genre is simply: kairosoft. The best of allIn my time that I have played this game out of all the other ones really drew my attention to the company itself. This game had all of the things that I was looking for in a game very intriguing and fun game and I loved it as soon as I played it through and through. InterestingDefinitely old school gaming, there is a lot of grinding, some luck, and it isn't a mindless easy game. A few times you will probably hit a wall. Have to figure out what makes the city better and what warriors are most important. It could be better, I would like to have the ability to customize people, zoom out of the screen to see better in the landscape position, and a little smarter worker ai so they don't walk all over town to make some goods. Best games ever!!Kairosoft is the best game company in the whole world I bought all the games but this is the best! Definitely one of the harder titles to beatThis game kind of just throws you into the fray. I was not able to raise my army enough to unify the "not Japan" land entirely (darn you Nobunaga...). It is extremely difficult to acquire enough capitol yo do things in this game so here are some tips for new players. Tips for players: - level up your work force as well as your warriors. They will move faster - always double up on your industry things. Put two stone depots next to a mine etc. as your workers level more they will finish tasks faster. - dont forget to recruit people to live there! - use the animals they give you in your army, its free labor! - always challenge the Shogun to battle to earn coin - analyze your soldiers strengths and weaknesses. The pink haired girl they give you at the beginning i used til the end she was that good as a soilder also she is arrow proof. - you have three turns to beat an army, it doesnt matter if there is only one person left on the other side it will be a "Draw" so just over compensate in your army for an easy win - as you beat armies the surrounding armies get stronger so i suggest to just grind and beat the bigger ones first.Lemon LadyVersion: 1.0.2

Could have been betterI felt they could have done more with this concept. It is a fairly good game with all the usual things. I also actually like the battle system, even if the enemy only has 1 troop left when the battle ends and its a draw, that is my fault for not preparing as much as i should have. Could have been one of their strongest contendersSeveral problems: Battles have only three rounds. If you have 100 units left and the enemy has 1 unit left, it is a draw. There is no real in game difference between a draw and a loss. 2. Tactical targeting, unlike what the game suggests, makes no difference in outcomes. Just leave it set to auto. 3. You cannot designate certain workshops to make certain products. This ends up in having workshops creating products for a particular store being far, far away from each other. 4. Grinding for gold is the only way to beat this game, and that gets old very fast. 5. There is not any of the little extras we are used to seeing (exploration parties like dungeon village/epic astro story/Beastie Bay), investing in side projects (mega mall story/hot springs story). Good start, poor ending.I've played almost all the kairosoft games (for IPhone) and I pretty much love them all. Like some other reviewers have mentioned, this game starts out strong but at the end game it just grinds to a halt. The difficulty in the battle of the very last fight from the few before is like an 8 jumping to a 13. And there's no real way to make your army much stronger besides grinding, which takes a very long time even when you've built your village to be very economically profitable. Best kairo release yetI've been a big fan of Kairosofts games since Game Dev story, but I have to admit, the last few releases sort of didnt capture my interest. I'm happy to say, however, that Ninja Village combines all the best elements of my favorite kairo games, and does away with some of the less appealing aspects of certain kairo releases. Astro space and money grind!As much fun as astro battle system... Then ever so grinding of gold to make "advance" in the next battles. The game begins to lose its "fun" when it no longer becomes skill via ninja as opposed to having gold to be buying 20+ npcs at a time. Then the RNG affects the battle. One battle you might win by luck, another you lose by 1 npc you failed to kill. There seems to be no point in attacking any particular npc in any order, except by auto default. Doesn't seem to matter. Endgame ; no replay value. Grind gold > build super army > beat game. Can't say This was the best release yet, but fell pretty short when it becomes a grindfest to compete in the battles. Pretty peturb you can't control the factory warehouses to one specific item then let it be random. 4.5 starsA very nice town builder sim and strategy conquering game. Yes, the draws are frustrating, especially when there is under ten units left, but lets be honest, in battle, nothing is certain, and wasting supplies running down ten guys so you have true victory (or else risk them becoming a threat all over again) simply isn't feasible. 'Draw' is more credit than a lot of battle games give! This game has its own music but that will fade away if you like to play your own. Note! The move feature is unlocked later in the game, so if you need to change the layout to increase output, I suggest waiting or only destroying to rebuild in extreme cases of necessity..AingealWrothVersion: 1.0.0

Very Addicting!I've been looking for a fun building type game that isn't like all these stupid "freemium" games. I downloaded the lite version to try the game out and ended up buying the full version and played it until 2:30 in the morning! Great Concept, Meager ExecutionThe idea of this game is great. However, the way it was executed was not as good as it could be. The village management is ok. Though it could be better, I understand that this game is not primarily a management game. Conquest in the game is pitiful. The other AI warlords don’t ever move their armies, and on the battle map, there is almost no tactical management. You can only control which unit your archers focus on. And even then, they never really hit that target. Troop recruitment is kinda wierd. It’s messured by a number that I have no idea what it correlates to, and the max your army can be is 999. It also confuses me how the other warlords can have an army greater than 999. There isn’t much replayability because its the same senario every single time, the same villagers, the same skills...it gets boring after you learn all the exploits. The game gives you 16 in game years to unite Japan under the Shogun and defeat the end game boss. I have NEVER done this. By this point in the game, I always have at least 7 more warlords to vassalize. Because the game is just really grindy, you can never beat it within the time given. At the end of the 16 years, the game scores you based on your treasury, # of villagers, visitors, etc. Though you can still play to complete the game after 16 years, it doesn’t count toward your score. I stopped caring about it on my third play through. I honestly don’t think that this game is worth the money you have to pay to get it. Its only fun for the first few play throughs, and its impossible to beat the game in the time given..I cant think of a good nickVersion: 2.06

Starts good...ends...?I'm not quite sure what to think of this game. Long story short, I think it suffers from some balance issues and poor design choices. The beginning of the game is absurdly fun and everything I have come to expect from the developer. The end game, however, is no where near as fun. I have spent the last 8 years of game time simply watching my town struggle to produce enough gold to afford the next level of troops. Then I go up against one of the absurdly difficult "endgame" armies and get them down to only a handful of soldiers while I still have 1000 left. But for whatever reason, there is a round limit in the battle system and I end up losing. The game calls it a draw, but that just isn't the case. There is no reason that battle should be considered a draw. But it is. And then I need to grind out another 10,000 gold to afford another 20 troops. I spent more time just sitting around not even looking at my device while waiting for my gold stores to go up for the next upgrade than I did actually engaged with the game. Definetly not their best gameLet me start by saying, I love their games. Ive played everyone of them and enjoyed all. This one however has one major flaw, their round system. They have three rounds which all four troop types attack. If you haven't killed all of the opposing army by the end, its a draw. Let me explain why this is stupid. I had a pretty good chunk of troops left over at the end of round three one battle and the other side managed to have only 1 troop left. It ended as a draw, which meant I had to do the whole battle again. What was stopping someone from going up to the guy and shoving a spear in his stomach? A round apparently. If you are new to their games I would not recommend this one. My favorites were Edo Town and Game dev. This was probably their worst game. I really hope they have learned from their reviews on it.
