Underexplored

I'm just starting to explore the app, but I know it’s been around for a long time. It’s designed for people who frequently download and delete apps. Sometimes, these users are asked for feedback, and this program is what most apps on iOS devices use to allow you to test them. I believe the app developers control what capabilities beta testers have. Some may provide you with access to certain features, while others might not. It seems that TestFlight, the program I’m looking into, doesn’t influence those decisions. Overall, I'm still figuring out the benefits of this program, but so far, I think it's pretty cool! I am just now starting to explore the app but it’s been around forever and it’s for people who download apps a lot and delete apps a lot. They sometimes need your feedback and this is the program that most apps on at least the iOS device comply with for you to be able to test an app. I believe it’s up to the app what capabilities there beta testers can have because I will give you provision of the app and others won’t, but I don’t believe test flight has anything to do with that as I said, I’m still exploring the benefits of this program but so far I think it’s cool

MAY MANY BLESSINGS COME YOUR WAY🙏🏾, thanks for the opportunity.

Wsp my name is cordell(21) and I’m striving to be a young entrepreneur. I want to be my own boss and motivate the youth that they can be as well. My mother was her own boss(a chef) her business name was healthy meals to go and she strived to feed everybody rich or poor no matter the race. Unfortunately her journey got cut short due to cancer back in 2022 but she is the reason I push to become greater everyday and why I will not give up on my myself or my family because we all deserve luxury living and I will make sure they have that before I perish. It would be awesome to win a ps5 so I can play the game with my brother like we used to when we were younger and I’m really good at mortal kombat so I would love to beat my whole family in a mortal kombat tournament honestly:). Just a little about me and my story sorry to get off topic so much. This is honestly a great app and I see no flaws, such a great idea to make a app like this I know a lot of hard work went into making it and I hope you guys hard work pay off!

Finally a news app that respects my brain and my time

I've tried every news app out there and always ended up either overwhelmed or bored. Shroomie actually broke that cycle for me. The format is the first thing that hooked me. Every story is distilled into tight bullet points — the kind of summary that gives you the actual idea, not just a headline or a wall of text. I can get through five stories in the time it used to take me to decide whether to open an article. That low-effort, high-signal ratio is rare, and I didn't realize how much I needed it until I had it. What kept me coming back is how it feels to use. Stories play out like Instagram stories — animated, full-screen, almost cinematic. I was reading about the Fed rate decision and it felt like watching a mini documentary. News hasn't felt that alive to me before. The streak feature snuck up on me. I didn't think I'd care about it, but I hit day 12 and realized I'd been keeping up with the news more consistently than I had in years. It's a small thing — a little counter, a satisfying animation — but it works. Habit formed, almost without noticing. The social layer is genuinely fun. Being able to drop an emoji reaction on a story and see how friends responded adds a layer I didn't know I was missing. When a story about AI came up and I saw a friend had reacted with the mind-blown emoji, it sparked a whole conversation. News went from something I consumed alone to something I actually talk about. If you've felt burnt out on news but still want to stay informed, Shroomie is the first app I'd actually recommend.

Basic UI failure when submitting developer feedback.

The overall process for participating in a TestFlight beta is fine, but the TestFlight app itself has a pretty glaring, amateur UI issue when submitting feedback to the developer - as you type into the modal feedback box, if your finger brushes the area outside of the box even briefly, or if you put your device down and then pick it back up, the modal dialog is closed and everything you’ve typed is discarded without recourse. It’s nearly 2025, I expect better (especially from Apple) than having to go back to the old world of “type something up in a basic text editor and then copy-paste it into the form to avoid losing everything you’ve typed”. To make matters worse, the “submit” button on the feedback doesn’t generate any visible confirmation you’ve actually submitted anything, it just closes the dialog, same as if you had cancelled the submission by touching outside the dialog. Given how close the submit button is to the edge of the “window”, this is also pretty ridiculous.

Well this is ironic...

So far, I'm having a good time tending to an app's test track. Here's my problem: including screenshots with feedback. If I initiate feedback through TestFlight, I can only include ONE (1) screenshot. However, if I take a few screenshots in a row, go into Markup from the thumbnail on the bottom-left of the screen, mess with them and click Done on top-left, then I select "Share Beta Feedback", I can use all of the screenshots I just took. The problem with that is, I have to take screenshots within 10s of each other. However, I could use some time to meticulously select and manicure screenshots for the test app, which means I would rather be able to manually select them when I go to report feedback within TestFlight, but that's limited to only one screenshot. I am saying all of this here because I see absolutely zero TestFlight support options as provided for pretty much every other app. I don't mean to complain for a review, but I do believe that is an Apple and an iOS/iPadOS 18 issue.

Organizing, planning, and reflecting all in one app.

I’ve tried a bunch of finance apps and honestly most of them feel way too complicated or kind of invasive. Arc is the complete opposite, which is why I actually like using it. Everything is manual, which I didn’t think I’d enjoy at first, but it weirdly makes you feel way more in control of your money. You’re not just watching numbers update, you actually know what’s going on. It’s super simple to add your assets, debts, and expenses without it feeling like a chore. The biggest thing for me is the privacy. There’s no linking your bank account, no weird data tracking, none of that. It just feels safe. Also, the design is really clean and not overwhelming at all. Overall, it’s just a really solid app if you want something simple, private, and actually helpful without all the extra noise. Definitely one of the few finance apps I’ve stuck with.

Awesome. Just awesome!

This is such a useful productivity app. I’m using it to pack my gear for film shoots with clients and create a timed schedule for my day. I love that I know what time I’ll be done by (assuming I stick to the schedule). And it’s great that I can share the schedule with my team so they also know and can track our progress. I’d love to be able to export my schedule as a PDF so I can share with my client. So I can’t wait to see the Pro feature. I will for sure sign up for it. Oh, and the search, I use it all the time! My checklists are long, and when I cannot remember if I’ve added something to my list or not, I just search for it. I also used it to pack for a recent trip and loved that I know what to bring, and see that I had packed it. Being able to group my items, is an awesome touch.

Beta Test

It is really good. The entire journey is there for my review/refreshment/learning. The ONLY wrinkle was my very first try with the AI chat. I asked the same question various ways and got the same answer (which was not effectively answering my question). I wanted to know if the “journey” was accessible by me. A simple yes or no would have worked (or directions!). Then, as I explored the App, I found the entire journey is there - exactly as I had hoped. I explored it and it’s very good and very streamlined. The only regret is where I gave incorrect answers, I could feel some kind of satisfaction with having the ability to acknowledge I made an error and understand the correct answer. Sometimes I simply fail to read the question and/or the responses correctly. I generally listen and respond as I’m walking my dog.

Excellent Beta Experience!

I’ve been testing this app during the beta phase, and I’m genuinely impressed with how polished and easy to use it already is. The design is clean, navigation is intuitive, and the features work smoothly. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a great experience for sports fans. Even as a beta version, the app performs well, loads quickly, and provides valuable sports information in an organized way. I appreciate that the developers are actively improving the platform and willing to listen to user feedback. The potential here is huge, and I’m excited to see how the app continues to grow. If this is the beta version, I can’t wait to see the final release. Great job to the development team!

Not sure if I’m doing this right.

I am test-flighting a big box store. I came across the app in the store’s website and thought the concept sounded cool. A couple of weeks later I got an invite and I never researched the “right” way to do it. I am an observant, big-picture thinker who can articulate my observations in a diplomatic way, and I’m frequently online browsing/shopping; not just this store. When I see something I say something. Sometimes there’s nothing to see. So I like that I am not nagged to participate or produce. It’s all very organic. If I am in fact doing this right, it’s pretty cool. Feedback is one of the best ways to improve and it’s cool to think I can help a company I’m loyal to improve. Kind of like, “helping them, help me.”

TravelerrrRNVersion: 4.1.0
Good reliable app to make dev/testing smooth

I like using TestFlight as we develop our apps. It’s good and reliable. It handles most of the typical is usually might have with apps under development. The app straightforward for most scenarios we have. It’s a little confusing when you couldn’t update on a beta app and test flight upgrades the app. However, in beta. It seems like the data structures sometimes need you to delete the app and reinstall. Test flight doesn’t have an option to do that and the automatic upgrades don’t prompt you to do that. But this is a minor issue not a big deal. In all of the respects it has been a good system.!

Says it expires in 34 days

I don’t know why it says it will expire in 34 days but yea can someone help me on that. Overall a great app sometimes had to turn my bike off to get it to connect again. But it connects great. You can manage the light and also the modes. (Pedal assist as well(seperate)). It said that it goes 30 when there is no one seating on it and then after went to 26mph. Still a 6mph different for 0 dollars (pretty good) I just need to know what that expires in 34 days mean. Also, to get to those 26mph it takes a somewhat “long” time to get there. You’ll need to be in a long straight line I guess. Overall, however, a great app since it costed absolutely nothing… I do wanna know the 34 days expiration date

Great App

I started using this app to study for my police exam and it has honestly helped more than I expected. The practice questions and explanations are good, but the thing that surprised me the most was the music. I never thought I needed music to focus. I usually study in silence. But the way the app uses the background tracks somehow makes it easier to stay with what I am doing. It keeps me from getting distracted and makes the study sessions go by faster. It feels simple but it really works. If you are trying to prep for an exam and need help staying focused, this app is worth trying. The music ended up being something I did not even know I needed.

AWESOME JOB

Game changer in dating app

Been using this app for a few days now, and I’m genuinely impressed. The interface is leak intuitive and easy to navigate which makes it a breeze to get started. The app seems to use an advanced algorithm that takes into account not just your preferences, but your interests and personality traits, which results in more meaningful connections. Unlike some other apps, I’ve used I feel like the people are match with their genuinely compatible, making the whole experience, more enjoyable, and less frustrating. All in all I recommend this app to anyone looking for a meaningful connection.

Innovative disruption to an otherwise stagnant ecosystem of applications

Low cost, high concept; a huge addition of unprecedented functionality to the tech space, now at last utilizing the most modern sophistication of our smart devices to change the information landscape both digitally and physically by delivering novel proprietary service to the user and uplifting occupational opportunities to the hired guide: the revelation being that through this model they are one and the same party, pun intended. This will become globally ubiquitous, connecting people and bringing them together in a way never before done, and it’s going to be a lot of fun.

What I thought would be cool to try turned into a daily habit

I originally started testing this to support a coworker, but it’s starting to become a daily habit for me. I find myself waking up earlier because I’m excited to share my dream with Ensueño. The dream analysis tells me a lot about myself that I never would have thought of. I’d like to think I’m an incredibly introspective person, but this takes my insights to a deeper level. I’ve told nearly all my friends about this app, and they’re excited for it to publish on the App Store. Thanks Ensueño team for such a cool app!

Lets me use apps in beta

The only reason I have for using TestFlight right now is the iOS app Clear, which I have been using for years because it is for my purposes by far the best list-keeping app on the market. Clear was sold a year or so ago to a new company who put it into development but made it available (in a limited form) in beta. TestFlight reliably renews my access to the beta release every 90 days. One day, I hope, the present owners of Clear will release a stable, multi-platform version of the app. Until then, my thanks to TestFlight.

I am a non-technical founder who founded a Decentralized and Identity and credentialing company (HPEC) i’m very grateful for the test flight interface, it makes it easy to test the app, and to invite others to test the app. The control features are great, & version control and understanding is easy. Even though I’ve never done this before and there was a learning curve once I figured it out it all made sense. Thanks to Apple for making this possible!

When I first started playing the test version of War Robots I had an amazing team on my actual account because I had set it up for somebody else to play and they had an amazing team and I had just started playing. I’d played maybe two games maybe three so then to start this test with all of these amazing robots that I now want to have on my already stellar team is so much fun. The only problem is I’m actually having problems with claiming my rewards that I have to watch ads for only the ones you have to watch ads for the other ones I get.

Feedback authoring needs work

The feedback authoring feature needs work, especially some way to save drafts of feedback. Multiple times now I’ve been in the middle of typing up a detailed report when I get interrupted by something else (a phone call, for example). When that happens TestFlight frequently gets unloaded by iOS, and all my work in progress on the feedback form gets lost in the process. It happens to me often enough, and is frustrating enough, that I kind of want to just quit participating in betas at all.

BunderbunderVersion: 3.8.0
Overall great app w/ some red flags

The app is user friendly & offers easier access to videos & chat features. There seems to be a higher number of fraudsters & scammers, so beware of the single photo members or the newly activated accounts. Being a disabled user, I have found the app is cool, but the video chat features are more of a challenge to navigate. It may also be that it is a challenge to attempt using solely an iPhone (13 pro max). I haven't tried using iPad, so I will try to incorporate using new device.

My 5 yr son who was diagnosed with ASD at about 8 months old. He just got to use this app today for the 1st time. He loves it! He is non verbal and expresses excitement by saying Eeeeeeeeeee... and he said it continually while using this app. He preferd it over a game he had been playing on my daughter's phone before I showed him this app! I cant say enough about it. Our children need more apps like this. Im very impressed, go download this app for your littles or even yourself!

Ive had this app for a while and use it for my small business. Ive had a few bugs to work through but have always had great support from their team. I love all the features and its very easy to set up. I love having all the information on both my iPad and my iPhone. Can’t say enough good stuff on how they have always been available by email, phone calls and texts to explain something when i have a question or problem.

If you like the codex app, you should get this app

I use tmux and the shell all the time on my computer, but I’ve always found them to be a subpar experience on the iPhone itself. This app honestly improved my codex tui+mosh+blink workflow tremendously. It’s honestly so much more easier to switch between different threads and servers. Not to mention the file input support is incredible. And you can actually run codex on your phone itself. How cool is that?!

Great

I enjoyed the few days of playing it!!! Im so happy and so excited for this game cause it’s a lot different from the regular cat & soup game. It’s such a new upgrade and being able to customize and decorate your own farm with the same adorable cats makes it so much more enjoyable. I enjoyed the concept and to be honest some buttons were a little clunky but through improvement I know it will get better after release.

KwistyyyVersion: 3.5.1
Good. Maybe even better since Apple Took Over

Didn’t think I’d say this but this app has actually gotten better since Apple took over. It works good and is a lifesaver for developers. It’s good to see that Apple didn’t just buy this and abandon it. It’s been well maintained and runs bug free. There are definitely features that could be added. But at least it’s in a solid spot right now so it’s hard to complain.

JacurtisVersion: 2.7.0
Constant I.D. Requests are annoying

I have enjoyed being a Beta tester and TestFlight has always worked well for me until a few months ago. Now it repeatedly requests my Apple password. Even outside of this app! It was so frustrating that I deleted the app I was Beta testing and reinstalled it as a regular app. No problem. Then, as soon as TestFlight had an update and my app changed back to a Beta test, the Apple password requests started again. Ugh! Please fix this!

CooknjazzVersion: 2.0.0
Wonky functionality

In the tvOS version sometimes the app icon will indicate there’s an update with the cloud icon, but lately there isn’t one. You have to look inside the app icon. Also, if you beta test more than one app, you often lose the ability to menu out to the main page where all the app icons are. Instead you menu out of the whole TestFlight app. Other than that wonky functionality the app concept is excellent.

SteveninNKYVersion: 2.1.0
Easy and functional

Great way to track apps you’re testing while also giving you quick ways to report bugs and read patch notes for most of your favorite apps. I usually have a rough time with giving feedback for apps have public test builds. But TestFlight gives me a way to keep them all together, also great for if you transfer phones and want to continue testing. Highly recommended for all tech nerds.

Loving this app, I use it in the morning to get things going and it reminds me to do the key elements that make up a great day beginning with making my bed! I now more often Meditate, exercise, watch the sun come up, celebrate life and have gratitude to get my day going. At the end of the day I review and make sure that most of those boxes got ticked. This app would benefit everyone no matter where you are in your life.

Playtest cloud playtester

It was pretty fun, reminded me of clash royale but it had its own unique spin to it. The maps were really enjoyable to play on and the monsters and mechanics are easy to understand. I do dislike the capsule wait times, I just don’t find waiting 8 hours for a capsule is worth it in my opinion. I learned of this game from play test cloud but I wasn’t able to reply on their survey due to the slots filling up, that’s why I’m sending feedback here.

Super Handy For Getting Feedback

The process of getting apps into the TestFlight pipeline and managing testers couldn’t be easier. I especially appreciate the ability to get internal testing going without a bunch of steps that like App Store graphics etc which is generally a separate group and not needed until go live. Nutrify Ai has completely changed how I approach wellness. Wish I could test more

My only complaint, if I had one, is I am big into this review thing and would like to test more. Like I keep trying to test Apple updates, and maybe I’m just not doing it right or something. But would love to be a Beta Tester, which I thought I was, for Apple Watch and Apple Phone updates. Thank You if you may be able to direct me in that direction.

Very Useful

I love using this app as a beta tester for various apps. I just wish I knew where to get additional links for other apps as a beta tester. I was fortunate enough to be invited by two apps that I use all the time. But there are others I’d like to contribute to. Overall, though, this app is easy to use, and I can see new features and test them before they go live.

Straightforward and achieves its purpose

Overall this version provides a similar experience to other shephard air products i have used. My primary suggestion is to add a more clear response to selecting an answer choice. As it is, there is only a slight highlight on the choice i select and it makes me constantly double take to ensure my click registered. Additionally, i think having a more significant highlight would reinforce the connection between the answer and the physical tap.

TestFlight Negative Reviews and Ratings

No longer can easily see which apps need to be updated

With a recent UI update, I no longer have the “Update” or “Open” button in the pane on the left. I have to click on each one to see if they need to be updated or not. Previously, the Update button would show up on each app and you could easily tell (and just click the button) to update it. Now, I have to open each app, see if it needs to be updated or not, open the next app, check if it needs to be updated or not, etc. This is way more work than it was before on the iPad. The colors around the title bar area when you open the app are also odd. I have a mostly black and green app icon that I can see and it has a orange/yellow gradient background (hideous). Some of the background gradients are ok, but some are ugly.

Engaging Gameplay, Niche Storyline

With the main focus of this test clearly upon the combative aspects, the animations were much smoother than expected which brought attention towards the storyline and character design. The story, while niche in its paradoxical time traveling themes had some redeeming qualities due to the cinematography instilling the suspense desired from what otherwise could be described as writing void of emotions. This game will definitely reach an audience well learned and not requiring the bubbly, energetic atmosphere competition currently brews frequently. In short, it’s a slow burner and should be viewed as more of a quickplay sort of addition to anyone’s daily gacha grind. Nevertheless, once you reach those climatic points in the slew of chapters published it’s quite worth the journey thus far.

Solid Approach but Needs Additions

Like the simple straight forward approach but this really needs the ability to have structured input specified by the developer. Apple Radar Bug reporting, while perhaps the most frustrating service Apple provides, has a reasonably decent web tool for collecting bug report information in a semi-structured way. Bug reporting needs to be extended to a real app interface and provided as part of Test Flight. The system report in the bug report is nice but the unformatted email reports are a cumbersome undisciplined approach that needs to be addressed. Bear in mind this app is not in any way “free” as it costs developers 30% of their app revenue to publish apps for the iOS market. At that price, it is reasonable to expect more from the app.

This app is genuinely horrible

Okay so first, the age ratings say 4+ but when you actually log into TestFlight, it tells me I need to be 13 or older which makes zero sense. Kids would generally understand this type of concept but since gen alpha and new generation are brainwashed by other things, I could see why it’s 13+ since there could be NSFW apps n’ stuff. Secondly, all I wanted to do was download sonolus since this is genuinely the only way to get sonolus. And if you think about it, mods for games such as HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE are age ranged for minors so I don’t really see a problem with having children under 13 in this app. Who knows, they could be super ingenious and innovative to make their own app or engine.

Iterations Stop Here!

In reality, this Test Flight App is just as bad as the rest of the horrible apps that ended up being downloaded but do not function nor do anything they are advertised to do. Frankly I'd like to know how some of these apps made it into the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, are they coming from another App Store and overwriting the Official Apps from displaying. Nobody ever seems to have any answers, nor can correct the many issues that have been submitted to the the various departments. At this juncture I want all my fees refunded and the use of my information stopped as many boundaries have been crossed, and it isn't worth me loosing out on communication, productivity, privacy, nor profitability. Get it together and let's be reasonable, because these games and obvious avoidance of resolutions is sickening.

Not user friendly

Share button has been moved to inside the listing. Now, you have to click the listing, then click the top right button, then share, that’s two extra steps. When hosting a party sharing host picks takes much longer. I had to use a device that didn’t have the beta to share host picks. No banner makes closets look plain and lack personality. The banner is a huge part of the overall look of a closet. I prefer square picture over portrait. Square uses negative space more efficiently than portrait. Being able to center your item in square looks more polished.

Poor coordination

The entire TestFlight process is difficult to navigate, especially when multiple release candidates are involved (i.e. app updates occur). When all about s are submitted and testers assigned, email notices are sent immediately, but in reality testers will not see apps in TestFlight until submitted apps have passed apple’s review process (a second email gets sent at this time). Apps that are updates may not appear if tester is testing previous app candidate. Resend invite option seems to be unavailable for some users (I haven’t figured out the logic yet). In summary, TestFlight has a monopoly on Apple testing, so we muddle through, but the is so much room for improvements in the use experience that it only warrants 2 stars IMO.

Not what I hoped for

It makes my iPhone 8 run so hot that I can’t hold the phone and have to power it off for it to cool down. I run it from home, have to have it plugged into charging because it runs the battery down so fast. Also, I can’t find a way to close group chats I want to close. And finally, I want to be able to access my inventory. If I am say in the hospital, I want to be in my region doing inventory cleanup. One other item, consider working with Firestorm to use their Firestorm Client AO so I don’t have to add a hud just to use an AO which I can’t do without access to my inventory.

Why?

This seems like an efficient way to try out games before they’re release, but I’m really confused by something. The age restriction at the top says 4+, but since I don’t turn 13 for another month, the app won’t actually let me play. My grandpa wants me to try out a game he’s about to release, but I'm going to have to use one of my parents phones. This seems like a bit much. I understand if it’s for older kids, but in that case can you at least put 13+ rather than 4+ to prevent this problem for others? Thank you!

Target is good but could be better

Target could be better if the employees in customer service when you call them has the right answers that you’re looking for they transfer you from phone to phone without no answers I was very disappointed . I had coupons on my previous account and credits on my previous account and they all disappeared and they could not answer as to where they went so I had to open another account.

The downfall of Wizz ; AI Moderation

I mention this since I’ve had multiple bans from various accounts, I chose to review their community guidelines since I didn’t know the reason behind it. It brought me to a page showing community guidelines and nothing shown I had done was mentioned. After that I requested a manual review but all I got was an automated AI response that told me to go over community guidelines so I took an extra step to send an email to ask for more details but then again I got met with the same automated AI response. Regretfully, given my circumstances, I used money on the app and I doubt I will be eligible for a refund.

Merge

It would make a lot more sense if TestFlight were merged with the App Store, instead of being a completely separate app, it would be easier for Apple and simpler for the users.

Please Make it work, I love this product

There are a fair number of minor bugs, such as inability to re-order or difficult to re-order. A large number of notebooks have been added to my collection, even though I only own four notebooks. My first attempt at capturing ended in three blank pages not never being transmitted with no data showing. I really really hope this isn’t a rating on the actually actual release product but only on the beta product being tested. Keep up the good work you’ll get there. PS I love data!
