Excellent Customer ServiceI bought 2 of the Hawkray Solar Power Energy Low Power Battery Cameras. One monitors my front yard, driveway and street. The second one monitors the backyard. The backyard I've got hooked to the solar panel and it stays charged at 100% all the time. The camera in the front yard, however kicked on so many times because of the traffic that the battery would never stay charged on solar panel alone. Which I expected to be the case when I purchased the cameras. I went ahead and plugged the camera into a wall outlet. After a while, I noticed that I could never get the camera to stay with a full charge like the backyard camera. I assumed it was because it was recording all day long. I had the settings such as they were using full power. Everything was working fine even though the battery would hover around 40% charge. It got to the point that the camera was actually dying or I couldn't use the rotating gimbal feature. At that point I had the cameras for a couple years and was moderately pleased with what I got for my money but was looking at different cameras to replace them with. I had all but made up my mind on some new replacements when I thought I would reach out to their customer service and just see what they had to say. The response time was phenomenal. Amy was a huge help. It turns out that it was just a defective battery in the front yard camera. Not only did she have a replacement shipped to me right away? She also gave me six months cloud storage. I have had the camera installed now for several weeks and it is staying with a full charge and functioning perfect. Whenever you purchase a product you know that there are inherent risks. Amy could have told me there was nothing she could do as the camera was a couple years old and I would have been ok with that and went and bought different cameras. But she didn't. These really have been exceptional cameras especially taking into consideration that they are under $40 a piece. Great cameras on a great app!I love the way this platform gives you so many options , even if you choose to use SD cards instead of paying for the cloud storage. They put customization to the max, weather it be in the app or setting for the camera to do if it detects motion or sounds, such as playing a recording telling someone they have entered a restricted area and need to leave, make barking sounds to frighten an intruder into thinking you have large dogs or to alert your actual large dogs to get into protection mode! But you also have the option to have it welcome your guest or to turn on a spotlight that will brighten up the area, providing perfect color recordings regardless of the time of day! The app allows you to see multiple camera views at the same time or display them in any order you like. Definitely glad I found these products!.Version: 2.3.3
So far so good.Got this to replace a Goowls camera I had for a couple years. That one just stopped working. When I reset it, it would rotate and lose connection. Could just be exposure to the elements and it’s time just ran out. This one- easy set up. Easy install. I like the bracket that let’s install vertical or horizontal. Also- the stationary cam is an upgrade from just the pan cam. The video quality is excellent. Has options to change resolution too. The camera seems much faster to respond to commands though still slow moving same as last. Overall I am super happy. This cam cost 1/2 what the old Goowls did- and so far- no advertising in the app. I was going to dump Goowls and IoT because that app now advertises. How stupid is that? If I’m rushing to check a noise on my can- I DO NOT WANT TO SEE ADS IN MY WAY! But here there are no ads. Good job SZSINOCAM..Version: 2.3.12
These cameras are greatI love this camera, as it does what I need it to do, watch my newborn. It gives us peace of mind. It tells me when motion is detected. Has a crisp video. It’s also Bluetooth compatible. I love the two way audio as well, night vision, ect. The only reason I have given this 4 instead of 5 stars. Is the camera itself likes to go completely dark sometimes. I’ve also had to reset it. Then when it powers on it lets you know is super loud and would abruptly wake my little. So in that regard it seems a bit glitchy, as in shutting itself off for no reason. Also don’t turn on the light of you don’t want to blind your child. I didn’t know what the feature meant and when I clicked it a bright light on the camera came on. I assume for outdoor Use maybe? Other wise we are very happy with this camera and will definitely use it for years to come! I still highly recommend it..Version: 2.3.12
Louisiana Weather & Chicken ProofI have 3 of these cameras, and they work perfectly in my harsh conditions. I have one in my chicken coop and one in each of my 2 runs. With the cameras being in the coop & runs they get extremely dusty. I just blow them off with the leaf blower every few months to get that inch of dust off and keep it moving. These cameras work rain or shine, they have held up through hurricanes & tropical storms and of course the scorching HOT humid summer days. The quality of the live feed is fabulous. I can tell what chicken is in the nesting box and how many eggs are in the nesting boxes. I can check in on them at night with the night vision option so I don’t disturb them sleeping. The alarm works great to scare predators away. I have had zero issues with all 3 cameras. I 100% recommend them..Version: 3.0.5
O-Kam pro reviewIt did arrive in reasonable time. The price was very reasonable as well for a camera with so many features that I’m still learning them. Overall it has the solar panel for charging so no need to worry about wiring. It is Wi Fi connected and as such can be viewed anywhere. The zoom feature is great as well. The movement feature that is controlled remotely is well appreciated with different sweep capabilities. It talked the micro cd that records all events and it comes with 3 days iCloud storage with option to buy more. It has options for choosing the picture quality but the basic HD is very sharp to enjoy. It has intercom capability with night vision in color and black and white. Very interesting camera to venture into its capabilities and I’m going to buy more for more security coverage..Version: 2.3.1
O-KAM PROAwesome little pro -kam I see negative reviews, I have no complaints Easy set up , so all pro kam buyers if your have problems with 4 hr battery use and want unlimited battery time just use your usb cord that comes with kam, and use I phone charger block plugged in near Wi-Fi for 24 hrs , you can unplug cord once the red charger lights goes off kam , meaning it’s all ready full charged it works for me don’t have to worry about battery drainage I leave plugged in leaving my home , out in the road I switch to 4g or 5g to check my home out for any activity it works I see my dog walking around kam detection, the ony issue I have is I don’t know how to add other I ordered ,need better instructions N/A kam support could plz walk me through for second set up , but other than Mr kam I Love it.Version: 2.2.5
This thing is way better than I expected!I was just looking for something small and simple and easy to conceal but the features at this thing has is incredible. One of my roommates just bought a camera for like $100 that has less features than mine. Does this company is very customer oriented and very helpfulwhen contacting the support team. O-KAM ProThe reasoning for the loss of the 2 stars , are because ALL of my cameras went offline out of nowhere. I did not lose Wi-Fi. It didn’t glitch on me. I just woke up one day and they were not connected to Wi-Fi. I tried reconnecting them every single way that I was taught with the manual and even some online videos. finally I ended up having to do something that I really didn’t wanna do which was RESET my entire system And all of my cameras and I couldn’t get a email back or a phone call or anything like that from the service company for help or a solution so that is the reason for the three stars just because I for a little over a year I would say and I never ever have this problem ever so I would really love to talk to somebody. Overall very goodVideo clarity is great, App is easy to use. I wanted wireless, battery operated and no contract as I want local SD/TIF storage. Issues 1. Their WiFi performance is glitchy. Even after I placed wifi extenders approx 5-10 feet away, App is still slow to connect, fails often to connect on App. 2. If not selecting all the power saving options, so limiting the features, power is drained very quickly which is disappointing. One unit was drained of power with all the advertised features within 1-week!! 3. After taking both units down to recharge, had to delete both units from App and reinstall, and reconnect with closet WiFi extender. I’ve only done this once and I’m hoping this does not happy every time. Used the TP Link to tether extenders better, and allowed to rename to avoid confusion etc..Version: 2.2.5
ReviewGood little outdoor cam. HOWEVER! ONLY “1” MAJOR PROBLEM keeping me from giving this a possible 1-2 Star rating is: the “FACT”, they give you “NO option” but to pay “through PayPal ONLY”! I spoke w/Apple support today, personally. 1st time EVER this has happened, regarding an app through the App Store. I do NOT do PayPal etc. “I would” get the subscription but unfortunately, given the ONLY option of payment, does NOT SIT WELL with me. Just had to put this out there for those who have experienced this issue, and for future customers! I pay through Apple! That is ALL I will move forward with. When you have gone through Fraud, extreme at that, one’s tend to be more cautious of being given “ONE option of payment”. Great little cameraI have had this little camera for about 3 months now and it’s my go to camera for for travel and placing in area’s that I’ve suspected someone was snooping through my things. It’s perfect and fairly easy to hide and make blend in so it’s not obvious. Believe me it’s done it’s job on that end- have caught people in my yard and some other nefarious activity. My only real issue is the charging port was loose from day one, and I have to put pressure on the cord to get it to 100%. The battery will last along time if it’s not in a high traffic area. Want to get 1 more of these.. also you need a strong WiFi signal so placement can be difficult if you don’t have a large WiFi signal area. Wish it was a little better at bringing in that signal a little better.Version: 3.0.8
Good purchaseEasy to start up. Easy online startup. My only problem was the connection for storage. Confusing as how to pay and they wanted you to get a credit card? A PayPal card? I was confused if this was to pay for the I cloud or I was getting a new credit card? They also don’t tell you how to have the camera or cameras on other phones ( my wife’s ) for both of us watching! Also setting up multiple cameras and sharing with my wife. So I just kept it on my phone, wife not happy. Also how to turn off siren no symbol to show it’s off, the symbol is just neutral without a line across it to show it’s disabled, it’s at our cottage and I don’t know if the neighbors are going to get blasted at 3am !.Version: 2.2.6
Just PurchasedCloud subscription is $6.99 a month $51 for the year. The screws that come in the package are small and I purchased longer ones. So far those are my only dislikes which aren't critical. I would still recommend these cameras as the picture is so clear! The sound is so clear! I haven't installed the solar panels yet and the cameras have been on all night. The battery is only halfway depleted. I thought the silver ball part would be flimsy and cheep especially in the event someone were to try to destroy the camera i.e neighborhood children -a ball or rock being thrown at it. I guess I will find out. Haven't experienced rain or severe weather yet. For the price and warranty -yes. Go for it!.Version: 3.0.5
Outdoor wireless solar cameraSo I don’t normally leave reviews, however I read some bad reviews about this camera and figured I’d just give my honest opinion so far I have absolutely no complaints especially given the price of this camera is relatively cheap The picture is extremely clear no matter what time of day I have cameras that are twice the prices this one and you can’t see half as good at night time so it’s like everything else when something mass produced you’re gonna have cameras that don’t perform as well as others but all I have is a great price and would definitely recommend.Version: 2.2.9
Best Camera and monitoring for priceYou can’t buy a better little camera to monitor the outside of your shop or home! For the Price, it far exceeds what I expected! I have recommend this little setup to various friends as it was done yo me. I love customer service as well. If there is a problem they are quick to resolve it. Best camera without WiFiI was looking for something to watch my horse at a stable with no WiFi close by. It uses solar and I buy cellular data which scared me “how much is this going to cost?” Then to my amazement my 6 gb of data lasted 6 months. Cheaper then my cell phone and watching my horse at 2am is hysterical. Better still is the customer service I received…. The camera stopped working once because it needed a firmware update and they were able to walk me through it on “what’s app”. This company is the best I’ve ever dealt with lately. Camera can only hold 2 hrsBought 4 units and configured them all via wifi. Camera works great with sharp pics in both day/night visions. However with night vision you need the camera free from ledges or other obstructions close by or you will see ‘lights’ which will lose the ability to see your target. I tested how long a camera can hold power and only got 2 hours for each unit before I get warning the camera will be turning off. So whats the point of configuring for 8 hours when the unit can only hold 2 hours worth. By then the unit is away from any power source plus I may or may not be close by to recharge them. No point in hiding them if the unit needs to be constantly recharged..Version: 3.0.6
Highly recommend!The installation instructions were very good.- I was directed every step of the way. I wanted to install the camera quite a distance from my wi-fi and was pleasantly surprised to see that the reception was strong and pictures clear as a bell. I am embarrassed to say that I dropped the camera twice during the installation. I was directed to reset the camera and it annnounced with some volume that it was going through the reset process- I had to laugh. Everything started up fine. I am so happy with this product. I would say if you have a large area to watch, I would order six at one time of these type of cameras so they all work together. This is a great system. Great camera set up great features, it has the motion feature the zoom feature lights this is just a great camera and simple to work easy to use but you have to download your cloud or you should pay your clout for a year at least six months to a year. Good but APP has become a nightmareCameras are fine and they work as it should - only issue I’m having is with the actual app, it has become a NIGHTMARE to use it because every time I open it: it gets stuck and never loads anything, I have to close it and open it over 20-30 times to see if I have any luck with it… we’ve had these cameras for a while now and never had this issue before, I thought it would need an update but app is up to date… I’m pretty sure it’s a bug on their side and hopefully they will fix because I can’t be battling with the app while trying to take a look at the cameras that secure my home. Ads are out of controlSeems like just in the week or so, the ads have gone crazy. For the first few days there were no ads, except to upgrade to cloud storage, which is understandable and acceptable. But not, an ad at startup, and here another ad there. Not just small ads full page and half page. I would not mind paying a small price to get rid of the ads, but not options for that. If I can not find some other software to use with the cameras or the ads ease up quickly, the cameras will all be going back. The camera work decent by the way and the software is not that bad either… just all the ads are not worth it..Version: 2.3.9
I AM SO IMPRESSEDI under estimated the battery life if these camera. Not only are the cameras top of the line , the features are amazing. And I am going on 2 month without having to charge 3 of my 4 camera they all detect from 22:00 to 08:00 hours every night. The main camera lasted 1 month only because I use it to see what is going on out front. That camera I intend to buy a subscription. The rest don’t need it. Worry not!! Love them!I ordered two cameras in order to keep an eye on my two little elderly dogs while I was at work. I’ve ordered two more, but it’s taken and an inordinate amount of time to get them. However, I have to say that I’m very very pleased with the two that I do have. Good camerasCameras have a beautiful picture. The day as well as night vision is good. They can be a little difficult to set up sometimes due to facing the phone camera to the front of the device camera and it not always recognizing it. I have a couple of these and it appears I have difficulty with just the one and that same one seems to not be holding the charge much and tends to go offline. All my camera charging panels have plenty of sun. The software is pretty easy to use and the camera has several user features All in All, a great wireless system.Version: 3.0.8
New backyard camGot one piece camera from Temu at a great price and so far it’s even better than my brand name doorbell camera. It has color, B/w, HD, and a great range of view plus options for alerts, sounds, motion detection, etc… ALL I was wanting, BUT the free trial ends tomorrow and I don’t believe in subscribing just to access what was built in so we will have to see what all is taken away. Apps opening takes too much time to loadGreat quality, I have 4 cameras installed with the solar panel. Good battery life with the solar panel. However, couple of issues: 1. The battery takes atleast forever to come back to 100% health if we switched to all day protection and working mode is switched to Smart sleep mode. And thus depletes further more battery when there are rainy days or no sun(during winter). 2. The App takes forever to load and all my camera says connecting or waking up even after motion detection event was fired. (I have the background refresh turned on, yet the apps seems to shutdown just like cameras atter a while).Version: 3.0.5
Very convenient and easy to use 👍I have been using the app for quite some time now and am very impressed. First, the camera itself was very easy to install. Second, the app was very simple and easy to use and watch the camera through. In addition, it can sense people walking even at a far distance and send a notification. Wireless mini camsI’m beyond impressed to say the least! I got these cameras because of the price point but thinking they would look cheap unfortunately. And boy was I incorrect. Just set up both cameras and got online all within 5-10mins. I wasn’t aware of all the addition functions (I.e night-vision, alarm, sound, smear areas, etc etc) they’re definitely a plus. I love the quality, but…I love the quality of this camera, I love how affordable it is compared to others. The quality it’s similar or even better, than Blink. When I first bought it we were impressed and bought two more. But we noticed that recently (December) it started to have adds, which we don’t like. We understood it was probably because it was free, so we bought a plan for each (individually) of our three cameras, but WE STILL HAVE ADDS. In door robot surveillance cameraDidn’t realize how much this camera was going to be so useful to my every day activities, it is good for when you are outside and you need to call your partner. Nice cameraWorks in color with little light and has a good night picture. Only complaint is a delay in response. That may well be our internet service so, I still have it five stars. We have it out by our livestock. It does not go off for normal movement but does go off for rapid or unusual movement , because of that, it works extremely well for our needs. We are very happy with the distance it covers. We can see out entire four acres and some of the neighbors pastures..Version: 2.2.5
Window cameraThis is camera has an excellent night vision picture is perfectly clear ( starlight vision) but it lacks some settings that would make this one of the better cameras to buy like timed recording of human detection and whether files have been erased or deleted before the main user gets a chance to go over them it even a passcode every time you need to enter the app but this camera is definitely worth the purchase the picture alone is worth it I feel this is worth the money spent.Version: 3.0.19
