I’ve been through the millThis was such a great game. I’m finally seeing some of the pieces from the first five really come together in this one. It seemed somehow a little easier to me than the other ones, but it is perhaps the most interesting of them so far. So much is going on in the story with three floors to explore, some nicely intuitive puzzles to solve, and a few previous characters finally converging. I still don’t quite understand it all, but I’m starting to feel like I’m in the middle of something unpredictably sinister, which, in this case, is a good thing. Also, there are a couple of “icky” things you’re required to do, not to mention some rather gruesome sights that had me somewhere between giggling and gasping. These games are so well made that no matter what horribly bizarre thing is taking place, it just seems kind of natural after about the fifth game or so (is that demented?). Anyway, the thought of downloading the next one almost makes my pulse quicken a little, as I’m sure there’s more “Oh my gosh!” on the way..Version: 1.6
😯WOW😯It is seen that much work has been put into this amazing piece which is why I am giving five stars. Rusty Lake is a VERY interesting game series. I got intrigued the first time I played, and I am sure you will be too! Keep in mind these games are a bit scary with blood, death, and dark spirit-like things. So if you like a good spook this is good for you! If you get scared with the following please for your well being stay away... So yes, this is an amazing game... for some, it really depends. Literally AmazingIf I could rate more than 5 stars I would. I recommend this game to my friends, coworkers, even the students I teach(they're all high schoolers.) I have played every game by RustyLake both the free and paid games and they are all great. The suspense, the slight jump scares, the gore but not enough to make it generic, its not too easy yet where you finish in 15min but its also not hard to the point that you no longer want to play it has that feel that keeps you glued to your phone/tablet. I love these types of games and have never been as addicted before. Would love to see this get bigger in the future. Great job! Hopefully more games to come..Version: 1.33.0
Best of its kind -- disturbing and ingenious!The creepy storyline is just the beginning of this darker than dark telling of a family bloodline and it's ghastly secrets along the way. The graphics are well chosen, and they set the mood for the horror to unfold along the way. I felt the puzzles were exactly the right mix of challenge and intuition, and like a good novel, you feel satisfied yet somehow wanting more, when it finally ends. If there are sequels, you can bet I'll be downloading them. Well worth the $2.99 cost, and I rarely find games worth paying for. This is the exception. I hope to see more from the Rusty Lake team! Best gameI’ve played endless puzzle games and scoured the App Store for something satisfying. I’ve come across good games, maybe even great, but I’ve never played a game like the ones in this series. I’ve started from beginning and am working my way through the entire stories. The graphics are beautiful, story line intriguing, puzzles challenging but not so frustrating I quit and I always feel satisfied. Some games are better than others but WOW! I don’t even pay for games or apps but I bought both games that require money because of how intriguing this series is! Please don’t stop making games ❤️❤️.Version: 1.5
Keep grinding! Another win Rusty Lake!Thank you for making them inventive, dark, addictive, and entertaining. When I start one, I can’t put it down until I finish. I’m glad you have the you tube walk throughs, though I try not to use them, you do get stuck sometimes. I prefer logic t o trial and error and most of the puzzles can be logic’d. Awesome games!I’ve played all of these games in chronological order. The free ones are short, the chapters you have to pay for are much longer. They’re worth purchasing. Do yourself a favor if you like creepy, interesting puzzle games. Buy and download all of the chapters, Google the chronological order of these games, and play them in order. Amazing!I’ve just about played all the cube escapes (minus the paid ones), but I can hands down say that these games are my favorite. I pretty much binge played them all! Just as good as the restAlthough this one does not top Case 23, it was still incredibly enjoyable. The gameplay was amazing with all the interactions, however, it was a little difficult in some areas. I did thoroughly enjoyed it though and will look forward to the rest of the games..Version: 1.5
Unique take on "escape" gamesWell crafted game in the "escape the room" genre. Interesting and surprising story line with unique puzzles. Sometimes I wasn't sure what to do next, in which case I just kept trying to combine various elements with items in the scene. Eventually, it all makes sense. Keep them coming!.Version: 1.33.0
Hoots off to youNew characters, new information, new location, it’s all coming together. Not my favorite so far but definitely similar to the fifth installment in its final horror elements. You have to love the story linesThe best puzzle games are the ones that carry a story line. I wouldn't let a child play it because of its gruesomeness. However, I loved it!!! Although I wished it was longer, it did help that they came out with so many episodes..Version: 1.33.0
Endings get weirder and weirder!I’ve played almost all of the rusty lake cube escape games now, and the endings just get weirder and weirder! The puzzles are very well thought out. Great gameJust found out about this today and I have binge played six of their games. Some series and certainly more difficult than the others. Seasons is intricately done, The Lake, the Mill, and Birthday are amazing. Harvey’s box was ok but still fascinating. Overall an intriguing game..Version: 1.5
AWSOMEThis app is so much fun... I can't even express it. The plot is crazy and weird but at the same time intriguing. I am so addicted I downloaded all nine apps (including roots and hotel). Extra star for priceI found this the most disappointing of the series. While at the beginning I was confused about what was possible or available to do (it has been a few months since I've played a Cube Escape game), by the end I was thinking "That's it?" Once you figure something out, you have to do it multiple times until the game is satisfied. Elsewhere, according to the letters, avoid the bad, but in fact the bad is necessary, of course, as is usual in a Rusty Lake game. I'd give only 3 stars, but now I'm done their free games & now must pay for the next in the series. Maybe tomorrow..Version: 1.6

Creepy. Great puzzles. Music gets annoying.Puzzles are great but it's kinda frightening some stuff made me jump. After i muted the music the sound kept randomly shutting off too, i had to go back in to settings multiple times. On to my seventhOh gosh guys Oh gosh I love the series. It's true, id's BERY CWEEPY But that’s part of the charm. I love figuring out the *implied* storyline, and I LOVE the way your puzzles make me really think. I do have a problem with this game, and I’m hoping it‘ snit the s,we with the others. When you switch from one side of the room to another, the way you shift, I mean sure MAYBE it's a little lifelike, but it’s also a little nauseating, and it REALLY threw me off. I’m not used to this kind of perspective from Cube Escape. I have EVERY SINGLE Cube Escape game up until this one, and I’m still waiting for the day when I say, “NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NO MORE TOO SCARY”-the last game was scary in the last chapter, but I loved it more. This one, I loved how complex the puzzles were, and how the storyline really told a story. I loved being able to interact with the character I had supposedly “saved” in the first game, and taking the person I played as in the last game, wow. I just, wow. It's very okay well I’m actually becoming speechless and I should stop soon... not yet tho I love your music, and your SFX. It's very well crafted, just like always, and always with just a hint of creepy. The music and the sounds of the thins surrounding me were simply lovely and added overall to the effect of ‘AUGH-oh it's just you coolio’ The graphics I also loved (surprise surprise) and I, as ALWAYS, must commend you DEVS for being *so* detail oriented that the moment I see a little black hole, I go “OH GOTTA STICK SOMETHING IN THERE” just like in Harvey’s Box (which by the way was fantastic) Please keep it up.
