It was fun, but now it’s glitchyI used to play this a lot. its a fun and simple game and can be surprisingly addictive. however, recently it’s been really glitchy. For example, if i can make several things merge in one move, sometimes theres this weird flash of light and then it won’t let me make any more moves. Sometimes if i press the pause button, home button, and then play it will pick up where i left off before i made the move and keep let me playing. But rn i keep pressing pause, home, and play but it keeps having the flash of light, and then won’t let me make more moves. I also noticed that sometimes when everything should merge, occasionally only of it will merge but part of it stays the same. for example, if i managed to make a chain of 5 or 6, only 4 of it will merge together. I think there’s a bug problem. This game is kinda old tho so idk if they’ll fix it. But they should, otherwise i’ll have to delete the app bc it’s barely playable anymore..ElayaaaVersion: 2.8.0

Update crashesI have had Merged! since the iPhone SE. Reinstalled it earlier after getting my interest back in it. Then I saw this new updated version and decided to reinstall that, but it crashes so I uninstalled everything, but it still crashes.I am using the iPhone XS Max now. I found a temporary fix when you see a flash and your screen freezes: you touch the screen at the bottom and bring your finger halfway up to show running apps. Then select Merged! and remove it. Then go to your main screen and select the game to bring you back to where you left off. Slight hassle, but it works for the meantime. Once in a blue moon you will get an unsolvable screen instead of where you left off so you have to remove that screen as well. Hope you guys are having fun solving the bug. Super fun, but weird glitchI love this game. Super fun and addicting. I had this game a while ago, deleted it because I didn’t play it for a while. I got it back a couple days ago, and noticed a weird glitch that would happen when I do an especially good move. For example if I get a couple merges in one move (if you have played you know what I mean) this weird flash goes across my screen and it freezes or something. It does that flash and then it doesn’t give me another pair of blocks and it is so weird. The first time this happened I thought my phone was the problem, so I did the double click home button and cleared it and then go back into the app and it would leave me back where I was. Then it happened again the next time I did a good move! 5 stars would be given if this bug was fixed. Very frustrating and annoying glitch. Used to be very fun to play. Now, welcome to ads the game.Like many free to play games, Merged has always relied on ads. The game itself is a relatively relaxing and fun game to play. However, since I reinstalled it, I have realized it is really “Ads the game.” As I played, every time I went up a level, I would have to exit to the Home Screen where I got to watch 1-2 ads. What was really fun is that several of them were the kind where there is no exiting them without opening the App Store...which ALWAYS makes me want to get THAT app. Then you click to go in, and you have a banner ad at the top blocking most of your controls. Oh, and you had to watch an ad to go back into the level. Then you go up another level and another 2-4 ads, probably for Garden Scape. The downside of mergedI’ve enjoyed playing this game however the maddening thing is there is no way to know what numbers are coming in order to help strategize as you move along. At the beginning the numbers that come create easy merges. Then it starts offering numbers that won’t combine and there’s no way to know if what is coming will be a single or a double toss. So it’s very hard to progress… it’s like the game gets to control outcome not you as there is no way to influence the toss. Also The beginning throw is always the same and the increase level doesn’t change anything just shows you how long you’ve been playing. Can’t undo a move either and no game explanations with it or timer all of which would be an easy and fun addition. So It’s fun for a while but limited engagement with no real way to progress beyond getting better at seeing how the merges can be maximized..CarolinidakiniVersion: 1.9.0

Fun at first but grows FrustratingMerged is a simple, fun and addictive game. Excellent UI and sound effects. But the first thing you notice are the incessant ads, even during the game play. You can pay a dollar to remove the ads, but only on one device. If you switch phones or own an iPad, you have to plunk down another $. Next, you notice that the levels don’t present any new challenges. The game grows boring quickly. Because the game chooses the next tiles pseudo-randomly, you can’t really improve your score either. The algorithm limits your game play deliberately. You can buy coins to offer more choices, but you quickly run through all of your coins. Ultimately, you reach a wall where you can’t get ahead and you wind up spending more and more money to play longer or better your score..EssGeeEllVersion: 2.7.0

Good Game but BrokenTL;DR: -Gameplay thing I’m pretty sure is a bug -Sometimes your piece disappears -Softlock occasionally when the piece never comes back after disappearing. I remembered liking this game when I played it a year or two ago so I recently installed it again but this version is incredibly buggy. One thing I noticed is that when I have an arrangement like this: ⚊ ⚃ ⚊ ⚃ ⚂ ⚂ Placing a 3-4 domino like this: ⚃ ⚃ ⚂ ⚃ ⚂ ⚂ Does not work, it animates the 3s first, but then leaves the new 4 in the corner so the animation looks like ⚃ ⚃ → ⚃ ⚃ → ⚄ ⚊ ⚂ ⚃ → ⚃ ⚃ → ⚃ ⚊ ⚂ ⚂ → ⚊ ⚊ → ⚊ ⚊ This may be intentional but it looks bad. Also sometimes when I place a piece the screen blinks and the next piece is never loaded. Sometimes this can be fixed by exiting to the home menu and hitting play, though sometimes this changes the board for no reason by adding a block in a random position, so you may need to back out more than once to get the board in the correct state. Additionally, I was once experiencing the bug detailed above, and the next piece refused to load even after exiting to the menu multiple times. Like it, could love itFun game. Requires thinking, planning and strategy so NOT a mindless game, which is great. But, it’s way to difficult to get higher scores on this game. If the algorithm allowed for fewer doubles-especially once the board fills up-to give you a chance to actually achieve a high score it would be so much more fun to play. Unfortunately the way it is now, the less space available on the board it seems like the more doubles you get so you are basically screwed once the board is over half full. Changed the game :/My favorite part of merged used to be merging 4+ blocks of the same kind together but now it only merges three at a time even if it ends up connecting 4 or more which is kind of annoying because instinctively it should just merge all of them. (Only happens sometimes like when there are four 2s- it’ll merge only three of them and leave one) Ads are kind of annoying because even when I just go into the settings for a hot sec an ad comes up. Also weird touch response on iPhone XR when picking up the blocks, not sure if it’s intentional or not. But I would probably rather have block jump up right as I pick it up rather when I’m hovering it over the board because it’s faster that way..Mar-tesVersion: 2.5.0

Loved this game until you updated it! ThI’ve been playing your game since I got my first iPhone and love it! However, the most recent update has an annoying glitch. After playing a game for awhile, when the tiles merge, there while be a flash across the screen and the next tile (to be played) does not appear. The only way to reset it is to exit the app & scroll it off the iPhone screen so it is closed. When you re-enter, the screen before the merge comes up and you can repeat your play without the glitch happening again. However, this error happens at least once every game...seems more frequent with merges of 4 or more tiles and with the “M” tiles. Please fix this, so I can enjoy your game again! Something terrible has happened to this gameThis has been a favorite for several years. Even got my adult sons hooked. For 3 days now something has changed. I’ll see a quick flash of light & then the next tiles to place do not appear. Have to go to another game. Also, I was on 24 & now find I’m on 7. Someone explain this to me. My high score is still shown, but I’m at a loss as to why the game has changed so. I’m revising my previous 5 stars to a 3. Really fun game but...I love this game and I’ve been playing it for years, though lately there’s a bug where the game glitches after you make a move and it freezes the whole thing and you have to close it and try that move again. I made a move with a color that merged four times, ending with the merging of 3 Ms, and the game is completely bricked. I closed it and tried the same thing 3 times and each time I had the same result. I ended up switching my moves and lost the game when I could have gotten further had this glitch not happened. I had it on my phone for a couple years than stopped playing and deleted the app. You have to restart from the beginning if you download it again, which is fine, but ever since I got it back, there have been way more ads and the app has been crashing a ton. Too many glitchesI love this game…when it works. I used to play this all the time and then it had a glitch so bad that the game wouldn’t allow any moves. So I stopped playing it for a couple years, trying every once in a while to see if it was fixed. Finally it got fixed! I love this game except for the glitchesIf Tetris and dominos had a baby it would be this game. I love it. Addictive but....So I was having fun playing it, until it legit killed my phone. When I read the reviews saying it froze a lot and closed randomly I thought I can deal with that. Merged crashI love this game and re downloaded it recently because I totally forgot about it. It’s just like I remember, but I used to play it on my iPad and now I play it on my phone, and it seems on my phone the game loves to crash. About 3 times a round I would say. Update crashes a LOTIt seems like the app crashes when you have 2 or 3 merges in a row. You have to force-quit and then it’ll take you back to the place where you started the merge sequence. Doing the same merge sequence yields the same crash. I love this game and before this update would have given it a 5; as it is, I’ve just uninstalled it, because what’s the point? Great, but.....This game is super addictive; I could play it for hours. My only gripe are the glitches. I’ll be playing and all of a sudden my screen would freeze or the screen statics. Forgot Why I Deleted; 1 game in reminded meI love the concept and play of this game, but it isn’t a good enough game for the annoyance of the ads. 1. They know we don’t like this, and there’s no way to leave a review through the game. 2. Ads — so many issues. After every game you have at least 10 seconds of video ads to watch. 3. Video ads all play sound by default and sometimes the mute button doesn’t work. 4. After your video ad, you are required to sit on a pop up ad for an additional 5 seconds. 5. Once you click the x on the ad, it takes you to the page to download it, not back to the game. 6. Sometimes you have to hit the x 15+ times to even be sent to the ad’s download page so you can go back and ACTUALLY PLAY THEIR GAME. I understand making the ads annoying enough for us to want to buy to have them removed, but all this practice has encouraged me to do is uninstall. Your game is not developed or intense enough to make it worth it. I had this downloaded a long time ago, and uninstalled because of the ads. When I got my new phone, I downloaded it, remembering that I enjoyed the game. Unfortunately, the ads have actually GOTTEN WORSE, not better. Not only would I never download any ap advertised through this game on principle alone, but I’ve actually refused to even try games that do look interesting just because of the abusive ad tactics of this game. SO MANY PROBLEMSI used to love this game and I still like it. However, there are so many glitches, bugs, crashes, and freezes that happen when you play the game. Good game, horrible bugsI used to play this game on a frequent basis, and loved it. But some update must have gone horribly wrong, because it’s become almost unplayable. The screen will periodically flash for a split-second as you play (this usually happens after multiple merges occur from one move), and break the game. You won’t be given a new block to put down, and continuing becomes impossible. Another reviewer provided a useful tip, that closing the game and reopening it can temporarily fix this bug. But eventually even that failed, and I was left in an endless loop of rebooting the game only to run into the same glitch. The aesthetics and sound design of this game are fun and soothing. Screen freezes oftenI had to read the reviews to see if this was only happening on my phone but come to find out there are many reviews talking about the “glitch”. Same as the other reviews state, I’ll be playing along, doing pretty well and then the flash of light and the game freezes. FOUR STAR RATING?!I’m so incredibly confused by the high ratings. Granted, it’s probably user error, but still the grade is so misleading. Nearly every review I’ve read has the same negative comments as me. But then has a four or five star rating. 1. Too many adds (which I could handle if the following didn’t happen). 2. Battery Vacuum.It’s a fun game and all, don’t get me wrong, I’m nowhere near stopping, but if I play for more than a few minutes at a time, my phone starts to heat up significantly, more than any other app I have. Hot as one of those shake-to-activate little heat packs you’d carry around in the winter (way too hot to be healthy for an iphone is really the point). It drains my battery extremely quickly as well. Maybe the game is just poorly optimized? I’d love to have this issue resolved, however Zynga’s email designated for Merged support seems to be down or otherwise unreachable. Fun game, could be betterThis is a fun game, could use a little work and it would be a lot better. i.e. weakening blocks to they explode. The real downfall with this game is the constant bombardment of ads. Not only are the ads annoying 90% of the time the small "x" to close them does not work or you have to tap it 15+ times for it to finally close. This is really bad practice and sleazy tactics. Fun but unplayable due to crashing/glitchingI’ve been playing this game on and off for about 4 years and loved it. I hadn’t touched it for awhile but figured I’d start it back up again. It’s almost completely unplayable now. The game will randomly glitch when merging blocks together resulting in having to completely close the app and restart it. But sometimes even THAT doesn’t fix the problem. It’s impossible to advance if the glitch doesn’t resolve by closing/reopening, since I have to COMPLETELY start the whole game over. More bugs now after update!Hadn’t really noticed any bugs before, but there sure are now! Every so often now, when blocks merge into a higher number, there’s a weird white flash, like what happens when you take a screenshot, and then the game freezes. I can quit and re-start, and it picks up where it had frozen, but... that’s a pain. I would’ve just contacted support instead of writing a bad review, but.., yeah, those guys only let you communicate via the Mail app, which I refuse to re-install. Great game but lots of glitches to itThis game used to be great but now it has plenty of glitches. When ever I have 3 m’s all merged together it flashes quickly and just once then I don’t have any cubes left so then when I re open the app where ever the 3 m’s merged it’s another cube or it stays the same. Every once in a while I also loose my cubes, and when it says I leveled up I have to exit and re open the app because of how glitchy it is with airplane mode on and no wifi either way it’s really glitchy and needs a new update soon. Recent update renders the game unplayableI’ve been playing this for years, and as of the most recent update, it’s become so buggy as to be unplayable. It’s seems ads are to blame, they aren’t rendering correctly causing the game to freeze. A hard reset is needed, but only temporarily fixes it until the next poorly coded ad pops up. Also, you can’t pay for an ad free experience, so there’s literally no way around the hard app resets. Even if the ad was so compelling that I felt I had to click on it, I wouldn’t just out of spite for how badly coded they are. Keeps crashingI love Merged! However it has more glitches now since the update. When it froze, I was able to close the app, the reopen it to continue playing. Sometime it came back with the same screen before the last move before freezing and other times it brought up another game in progress. Yesterday the screen froze as I added the last block. Keeps FreezingI really like Merged a lot. It’s such a fun puzzle game to play. However the past few months I try and play it it will flash and freeze the game. Used to love it. Not anymore.I first played this app a few years ago and loved the simplicity of it. There were ads back then. I get it. Free app, gotta have ads. I understand. But they weren’t the way they are now. Now the ads after a game are super long. To the point where it’s faster to just close the app and reopen it. Can’t even purchase to avoid adsThe ads as everyone has mentioned are terrible, frequent, and loud. Forget playing this game anywhere with people, you seem like an inconsiderate buffoon. Was good, but not anymoreI played this game a long while ago and had some great fun. I got high scores and it was a good way to waste some time between real life activity. My mom found the game a year later and started playing. I had a new phone by then and lost any progress. I went and downloaded the app to beat her high score (which should be pretty easy, it isn’t that high). However the game now works against you and gives you the opposite of what you need. Very laggyDon’t get me wrong on my rating, I like playing this game. It’s just that as your points start to pass 800, the game becomes laggy. I’ve gotten all the way past 2,500 points and at that point, the game was almost impossible to play. You had to wait 5+ seconds for the numbers to flip just once, the way the numbers move under your finger makes you want to check your configuration settings to make sure the touch screen is working properly. Horrible bugsWould give it zero if I could. First problem : Every other block I place, it doesn't load or place. So I exit the app and go back into it. It refreshes it self and I re place the block where I want it. Fine. Another problem : Sometimes the app glitches and when I get the "M" blocks, it makes the animation of the bomb but nothing happens to the surrounding blocks. Even when I exit the app and go back into it, my "M" blocks are gone but the numbered dice are still there. Completely screws you over. Good game but has problemsBefore I start let me say I have deleted and reloaded it twice. When I play it, after a short while, there will be a flash and the screen freezes.
