I have used this app for a few years at this point. I have read a lot of good novels and comics in that time. Since this is a Chinese app there are a lot of Chinese authors and artists that make up the majority of the contributions. That isn't really a problem for most stories, but some translation jobs are better than others. That is probably due to certain words/expressions not translating properly and is for the most part not a problem when reading. The app does have a "leveling" system that doesn't play much into the reading part, but directly affects how much voting power you have when deciding on new serialized works or the current rankings of "hot" novels/comics. It used to be an amazing system: guaranteed EXP every day, and 3 fast passes to use on chapters. But now experience is harder to get without paying (which is not a problem if you just want to read) and the fast pass system has been changed to a genre+format basis. The new fast pass system limits how you can use the fast pass, and this is my biggest complaint. But it forces me to read outside of my wheelhouse when I don't want to waste a fast pass I otherwise wouldn't use. I wish the daily login always gave me +5EXP and a daily pass again. T.T

You have great selections of translated novels & originals along with web comics. As a user who has been using this app for over a year I’ve see many changes. I really enjoy using this app I like how interactive and gives individuals a chance to write their own novels and get paid for it if it gets popular enough. The minor issues I have are for one, some minor glitches with the current update. Webnovel please address them accordingly and I hope you read people’s review. Alright so the switch from stones to coins (I have absolutely no issues with that because as you mentioned it would be the same just the name change) but you took away the bonus (stone/coins) we actually enjoy that incentive when we purchase (stones/coins) to read (please consider it and bring it back), another thing is when you check-in you get experience points to level up (I’m currently lvl 7 & I haven’t seen any perks any difference from 5-7) can give us coins instead or mix it up not just experience points. I would prefer to receive coins because with the fast pass I can only read 3 chapters free which is nice however,(by the way you have to use same day) I can’t save the coins. Anyways keep up the good works I enjoy your app I just have minor issues.

This is one of the most used apps i have for reading, i probably spend to much on it lol. It has great settings, the text-to-speech system works pretty well for when i wanna keep going in a story but need to used hands and eyes for other things, especially driving. One complaint i have is that multiple novels have chapters that are either just an authors notes or chapters that were copies of previous chapters and we still get charged for them with auto buy feature turned on, & even if you buy each chapter manually theres no guarantee you know its a repeat chapter bc some posters either translated the chapters differently or changed part of the story and it ends up seeming a bit different when you see the preview. Hopefully in the future they can fix this issue somehow, like maybe a screening function that compares the chapter to the previous ones and if the chapter is to similar it will be flagged and made free, or forced optional to the readers with a warning that its possibly and repeat. And for the chapters that are authors note with no content to story those to be made forced optional so that even if the auto feature is selected we wont buy unless we decide to support the author/translator

Before today, I refused to write a review because there was nothing worthy to review—I would’ve given this app one star. Now, I give it 3.5 stars for the new updates that they just applied. It started off slow where they fixed one thing at a time, and now I’m finally satisfied with it. My number 1 reason for originally disliking this app was that they didn’t make any options for the readers to enhance their reading experience with things like a background color change, text size, brightness, and etc. I considered deleting it soon since it was a struggle to read on here for too long. However, now they’ve added all that it in, although I do feel that they included a pointless color similar to white when they should’ve added a gray color to provide a medium between the green and black color, and the font options didn’t look anything special, but as of now I’m satisfied with the availability. Rest of the 1.5 stars were due to the spirit stone system used to unlock chapters. I’m not sure if the authors receive monetary gain from that, if they are that’s great, but I think that the amount of stones required to read some chapters is too much. Overall, it would prevent readers from using the app as much if they had to purchase stones to continue. It’s nice that they give some options for free stones, but those options barrel down to 3 and the amount of stones received from them vary. At most you could probably read 2-3, maybe 4, locked chapters in a day unless you stick them up weekly. In addition, some of the completed translated novels that they have still have locked chapters, which I find funny because those chapters are readily available on other sites so instead of losing readers they might as well unlock those.

The app repeatedly signs me out while I'm reading, and then refuses to let me sign back in, so I lose all of my chapter progress and sometimes the book entirely. The timing of the automatic signing out is really inconvenient because I'll be able to vote on a story, but by the time I get to the next chapter I'm just... signed out. And when I try to sign back in, it refuses to let me. I will type everything correctly, click the "sign in" button, and it loads. And loads. And loads. And I still have the option of clicking everything else, so I know that the app is at actually signing me in. So, when I finally request a password reset, because the problem might just be me, I try to sign in, and now it tells me that my account is suspended? Like, why would you not let me sign in, let me change my password, just to say, "Oh, never mind. Well just delete your progress AND your ability to sign in at all! Have fun!" This is really frustrating and I just want to be able to read during quarantine, but all of these problems just wont let me. Please fix this problem or at least tell me how to fix this.

I’ve tried many many manyyyyy apps of a similar nature ranging from billibilli to webtoon etc and finally ended up here by chance due to a manhwas remaining chapters only being available on the app.. 1- I like the night mode (seemingly trivial thing to comment on but boy have I been frustrated with the bright white background trying to read at odd hours of the night due to my insomnia and being unaccustomed to the white background bc literally everything else has the night mode feature option) 2- I like the rewards system this app has. It feels like for those who don’t want to purchase coins (I’ll be honest I’m someone who immediately purchases things without hesitation for sake of convenience lol) BUT this app does give little rewards/incentives that I enjoy completing regardless. And unlike other apps it’s nice that upon completion I can actually use the rewards promptly and realistically not like wait 24 hours for a chapter based on one click or paying 1$ per chapter lol.. 3- I like the suggestions options and how it appears per novel/comic instead of just when I go to the home screen & adjusts based on the specific thing I’m reading atm (like whatever comic is open not just my overall history) Reason for 4 stars — I HATE HATE HATE the immediate pop up like instantaneous “books you may want to read” or whatever. Like first of all it feels like I’m being assaulted and I want to compete w the interface to open up my desired reading before it pops up lol. Secondly since I lean towards the manhuas especially, I would at least prefer an option that let you select your home page preference. So if I’m going to have a pop up you may be interested in assault at least let be of the types of material I came to read in the first place. I actually find this to be a really big con bc it feels so ad like.

I love this app with many creative and interesting stories however there’s a problem with the fast pass and coins. I have to wait another day just to read the next chapter because I already use up fast pass after voting and I really don’t understand how to get coins without paying cause I’m broke to buy any coins or fast passes. ( I’m a college student who has to pay fee’s for classes, Apartment bills/Phone bills, paying to get Equipments like blood pressure and clinical payment for CNA class, get groceries every six week, there’s also the Covid-19 pandemic, and all that other wonderful stuff.😅) I think this app should just use Ad’s. For example, every time the readers get to the next chapter that’s locked we can either pay or watch an ad to read instead of having to wait for another day and the fast passes at least get three by voting cause one fast pass isn’t helping at all. I’m sorry to those who disagree but this might be the only way we can read chapters and Hey!! it’s better than having to wait, being broke, AND writing an upset Review because the chapters are locked.🤷‍♀️

I love the plots and drawing of all the comics that I’ve been reading. I also love that it kind of limits how much you can read (3 chapters a day for free) so that you don’t get addicted. However, there are a few mistakes. For one, the purchasing of coins is very risky and stressful to me. A while ago I bought 250 coins twice which came to a total of $10. This purchase went through immediately and I had no problem. But, about 6 hours ago today I bought 1000 coins for $20 and it didn’t work so well. I waited 1 hour and still didn’t receive the coins. Whenever I went to the help center it said to contact their support team and gave me an email. I emailed them immediately explaining my problem and even showed a screenshot of my purchase history as proof. They didn’t respond so I emailed them again (about 2.5 hours after the original email). Still no response. I even ended up contacted them through instagram. I am currently still wait for a response and for my coins. Although I am disappointed that my $20 have gone to waste I will continue to support this app as the comics are amazing. 😊😘❤️

Originally the app was fine since it has most of the basic features needed to read and manage your account. After it updated to its current version it had more including better brightness/background options and easier ways to access info about the novel and other functions such as voting with power stones easier. Although it also has improvements that weren’t in the previous version of the app such as the reading milestones that allow you to get more currency or spirit stones for free iT has one major flaw that still hasn’t been fixed. The one major change that made this app less usable however is the lack of a landscape mode in reading mode. Without the landscape reading feature it makes it harder for one to read especially on larger devices such as tablets. There is a section in the help center for landscape mode, but that was for the previous version, before the app version changed to its current set up. In conclusion the app’s new update has increased functions and accessibility, but lack common features such as a landscape mode or the ability to rotate the screen

As both a reader and a writer, my experience with WebNovel has been largely positive. While I believe my book holds strong value…especially within the sci-fi genre…i was rejected getting contracted on the basis that it didn’t align with the platform’s current romance market demand. This was somewhat disappointing, as it suggests a limitation in genre flexibility despite the platform hosting diverse stories. Overall, WebNovel is a great app with a lot to offer both readers and writers. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the restrictive nature of its content preferences, but it remains a solid platform worth exploring.

I have checked in on Webnovel for 1565 days in a row. I use my phone and an iPad to read it on. The iPad stays in the bedroom and I use the phone everywhere else. Three days ago, at the same time the new update happened, Webnovel logged me out of my phone at least 8x in a row, and then every time thereafter whenever I looked at the iPad. So I have logged in 12x in 3 days, even if I say "remember me" or "remember my password." I asked customer service last night (Renzo, I'm talking about you) and he said it has always been this way, you can only be logged in to one device at a time and it is a security measure. I told him no, this is a new thing, and it is ANNOYING. I have Kindle, Galatea, Inkitt, Ream, Wattpad, MyFavReads, and Bookfunnel on both devices and NONE of the other reading apps log you out when you go from one device to another. Yes, I use all the apps on a regular basis too. So, the problem is the new update, and I am not happy. FIX IT. Having said that, I really like a lot of the novels on their platform. "The Duke's Masked Wife" is my favorite, followed by "My once handsome husband" and "Crazy Duke, fallen Queen." I'm not a fan of any of the "system" books but someone must like them since there are so many of them. Their search function is bad, and they promote the "system" books like they didn't have anything else. The app is Chinese so they push the poorly translated chinese books, but there are lots of other authors from other counties too. I'm waiting for Tiny_Psalm, who is from Nigeria, to write the 3rd book in her series. and I'm looking forward to Red Sonia's updates in "The Supreme Alpha." I don’t like it when an author just “takes a hiatus” of a year, so from now on I’m only going to start works that are completed or from authors I have confidence in that they will finish the novel. Daily check-ins will give you a “fast pass” to get a free chapter and they run discount sales often.

This app has potential, but as I’m from Korea where lots of apps like this have a premium interface and the writing quality is very high, I have to say this is a cheap waste of time and there are many stolen works on Webnovel. People take translations from Wattpad, from pirated sites, from Webtoon Canvas, from basically anywhere you can find comic and novel content without getting caught. I am used to nice apps that have certified copyrights and have experience publishing on major platforms before that do things the legal way with all rights reserved, so I am going to disclaimer this harsh review by saying I will give you the five stars just so this can be seen. Many authors who claim original content have stolen from other sites, so do not follow or support any author even if you read their works. If you see something is stolen, go report it to the rightful owner and get it taken down. I will try my best to find stolen works here, but the writing is cheap and poor quality and wrong credit is given everywhere so it is very hard.

I very different reading app…The novels and comics are top notch. The best book I have read in a long time is in the app. It far surpasses the Twilight series. More in line with the Harry Potter books just an entirely different type of fantasy novel. It has everything! Violence/abuse (all types), killings/murders, treachery, treason, heart ache, comedy, with a miserly love story smack in the middle. There was never a second of slow/boring chapters. It’s definitely an adult thriller, fantasy novel. With every type of fantasy character you could dream of. Though the name might make people think it’s another trash werewolf novel. Every book/comic in this app seems to be written by very talented mostly unknown authors. I figure it must be hard to get a book published and gain notice due to all the great writers on here. Some of these authors put renowned authors to shame! Costs are reasonable. Cheaper then most reading apps, with more ways to read for free then I’ve ever seen! ,

I love this app. It really does have some great stories. But I agree with a lot of reviewers in saying that it is way too expensive. I’ve only been reading for a few weeks and have already spent more than $100. Again, the stories are amazing and I’m currently following over a dozen stories but for the amount I’m spending I could easily buy a dozen actual books. The worst part is that no matter what story I choose they all only have enough free chapters to get you hooked and and they never seem to open up new free chapters later on. Your only choice if you want to complete the story is to spend anywhere from several months to a year for one story at the rate of 3 fast passes a day or spend a fortune to read it more quickly. I understand that the authors have to support themselves but it would be nice if there were better ways to get new chapters. It is simply too expensive for most people to truly enjoy this app to the fullest.

The stories themselves are great. They have been translated and come with a lot of misspellings. The reason for the 2 star is that it’s all not worth the overly priced cost of a beer ok, especially when you don’t get a hard copy. I’m $60 in on 1 story. Now I’m asked to pay an additional for privilege to buy new chapters which we already pay for. Each “chapter” may truly be 3 pages, if it was put in hard copy. No clue on how many more so called chapters till the end of the book? So the real question is how much are you willing to pay for 1 book? Then you are asked about what website your reading the book and told which website this should be on, and reminded about pirating. No problem except in 1 book, you should only have to see that question and reminder 1 time. It becomes a annoying to have to read it every so called chapter. While the story is great and worth the read, the cost far out weighs the desire to finish reading it.

I just got it I can’t A lot wife I didn’t think but it is a very great app if you tried to watch or read some steamy romance that you can’t read on WEBTOON then you should definitely get it. But it could be a place for cute stories like Your ears are showing! That’s a cute story or you could go for beastly romance like beast and beauty. But on some stories they always have a lock like web tune but the difference between the two is web tune gives you actual schedule wow web novel a clear schedule. What is one comic or web novel I wanted to read but after I clicked read I had to automatically use coins and I don’t think that’s really fair to the reader if they can’t afford it especially when the daily coins that you give can be expired. But I also think that when they’re trying to lock chapters until every week they should at least give us a warning or tell us other two and then to purchase the comic or novel they could just give us a detailed schedule

I read Webnovel every day. There is a story for everybody and a chance for everybody. If you are just there to read, you can support your favorite book, and in return, you are rewarded. You also can support new books so they can gain traction and get more views. Again, you are rewarded for this, so everyone has a reason for supporting. The only downside for me personally that I can think of right now is IT IS SO HARD TO GET TO LEVEL 4!! ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY UPDATE THE APP TO GIVE LESS XP, AND WHEN YOU FIND A WAY TO GET XP, IT DOESN'T WORK!!! Look, Webnovel, I love your app and wish to support more creators on it, but the daily post a comment and get 2 or more likes to get 15 XP is dumb. Instead, it should say have a comment get 2 or more likes to get 15 XP, or maybe even 3 likes for 10 XP. I don’t care what the like amount or XP amount given is, just get rid of the post a comment, because it means that my old posts don’t matter no matter how many likes they get. I joined in July 2020 and I really like this app but I have noticed some issues which seem to be fixed or are being fixed. some of the pages in comics won’t load so it’s either a blank page or black. It’s hard to find somewhere to get tech-support . I don’t want to report a comic I just need help. Sometimes comics shows that I am off-line but I’m able to see other comics I’m not off-line there’s nothing wrong on my side. I wish there was a way to get rid of the book recommendations or the fast passes for books I only got this app to read the comics but I can’t switch off the books. It can be frustrating when a comic says that it’s completed but they didn’t complete the comic it just ends, because you have to pay money to keep on reading or wait and then you end up spending so much money on this one comic and it’s a let down. They are really great reads and emotional stories on here and it’s a good place to read.

Am Amateur Novel writing location that has a wide variety of genres and stories original and or cliché. More often than not it is a fun location to read ideas for my own dungeons and dragons game to add any fantasy quirks that I find unique and not too overpowered for the party. However you find a gem every once and awhile that, while not a perfect novel, is incredibly well thought out and entices you to read all of the book for once and not just the first 100 chapters or so. I love going through and just taking in the fun, silly, dramatic, thrilling, or even epic creations that arise from this site. All I can say now is don’t expect perfection, but I recommend these readings as a fun distraction whenever you find yourself waiting or bored in the day to day. Until you find that gem, then you just read until you don’t feel like buying more points and go to daily ticket waiting.

I was bored on Facebook and the Webnovel ad was on my feed. Started reading the snippet of a book and was excited to read more. Had never heard of web novels before so this app opened a whole new world for me. I might spend a more than I would on a regular book, then again, these are not regular books. Great job and thank you for the introduction. Not all apps are the same (have looked at others) and I can say that your quality is top notch. *Few things people need to know… 1. This is where people write to share their words and make money. If you are looking for everything to be free, not going to happen. The whining is appalling and unnecessary. 2. If the author is not going to finish a book, they need to not have an opportunity to release more “half done” works. A contract should be in place so the readers are not hanging by a thread. 3. The comics, which I cannot seem to get enough of, when they are not complete do not say complete. I have wasted money reading only to find out they just stopped. Please note that 2 and 3 do not happen all the times and their are ongoing nooks and comics. I have found some gems that ended abruptly (comics) or no update for months (novels). I have shied away on some books and comics that are ongoing due to this fact. I can also say that I have read books on this app that are better and more in depth than the paper novels I own.

3.5/5 Dont get me wrong, this is a great app and the site has a LOT of translated novels. The only downfall is the price to read. For the premium series (all the good books u want to read but update 1-2 chapters a day) cost to read. The price to read the new chapters are like 8-14 spirit stones to read and when you’re like me who reads more than 10 series at once, u end up spending 30$+ monthly just to read. IF they added a monthly subscription service, this app would be 5/5 because the translaters are dedicated and ive never seen a late chapter. Sadly its just too expensive

Honestly if you want to find good novels to read with a bunch of different genres, this app is the app for you. Don’t let the need to purchase coins and premium chapters drive you away. You can just find them almost anywhere’s else online if you search up the title of the book. While some novels have terrible translations others are perfect and are gems of a read. Def try it out

I’m have troubles with getting the daily sign in ticket. It keeps telling me to come back another time and I lost a 42 day streak to this bug. Please help

This app is amazing and all I love it but I just wish you could watch adds instead of paying for coins and fast passes I know that you can send a code for free but it hasn’t been working for me lately

But waiting for the chapters is kind of a pain, especially when some of the chapters feel like they are only 2 pages of a book

$800 in order to read my favourite book series makes me just want to pirate. I don’t mind watching ads and the such in order to unlock new chapters but they limit the amount you can watch in order to incentivize you to spend money.

I use to not like reading but the books and fanfics have made me really enjoy reading and I look forward to reading every day now

Overall this is an amazing app with tens of thousands of hours of content most of which is very good, but recently I’ve been experiencing a lot of graphical glitches while reading where the words flash in and out in different segments as well as very stutter filled scrolling, still enjoyable but I’d rather not have to deal with it. Maybe it is simply an issue with my phone model (iPhone X)

I wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing; at the time I didn’t realize most of these are in complete stories from amateur writers which normally wouldn’t be a problem except you have to pay per chapter a.k.a. page.I have gone ahead and pay for the “coins” to unlock the chapters, but the problem is the cost varies per chapter and there is no way to gauge how much a book will end up costing in the end. I started off reading free chapters and then looked at the cost of the others and figured at 6 coins/chapter I can finish the book...nope the cost of coins vary from 6 all the way up to 18. Not to mention I believe the authors drag out the story and releases to increase their profit. I’m currently reading a book in which I have finally gotten to the page that was reflected in the excerpt. This particular scene doesn’t come up until chapter 267, which means the book was already or near complete at the time it was listed; but they are still only releasing 1 or two chapters at a time unless of course you want to pay for the level 2 privilege and get 9 chapters early, but then you will still have to pay for the chapters in which you can’t even see the cost without first paying for the privilege. Good stories, but it’s unedited amateur writing with spelling and grammar errors. I will not recommend this app nor be reading any other stories after the ones I read are completed (if that ever happens) Too bad as there is some goof potential here, but greedy/flawed system

This app is expensive! You’ll easily spend over $200 for one story. They have some pretty good stories on there. Some are better than others so you have to spend some time searching. I recommend reading only complete stories though. I invested so much money in one story to find it wasn’t complete and the author hadn’t updated in over month. Also, the stories are like 500+ chapters long. The thing that irks me is that first 20 or so chapters in the stories are plot driven and really capture your attention. Then the next 100 chapters is devoted to the main character doing mundane things like enjoying a pleasant meal with family and having lighthearted or nonsensical banner with other characters or even just having an internal monologue. Then you get 3-4 chapters that advanced the plot with another 100 or so chapters about nothing important. And that pattern repeats until the end of the book. So, many of these stories are unnecessarily long and I suspect it’s due to the issue of earning money. The app itself is not intuitive. Like, you have to play around with it for a bit to figure it out and their Privilege system is a total scam. You use 300+ coins for the privilege of reading chapters that aren’t released yet and then have to use more coins to unlock the chapters you just used your privilege on. I like the app ok, but they need a better system that is easier on the reader’s wallet.

This app was actually good. I came across it due to an accidental Facebook post. I’ve been reading now for a week and I only have a few issues. The point system doesn’t make any sense. Do you get points because the book is new?Why do books that are over a year old still have high coin cost? shouldn’t those cost come down. For example I am reading a chapter book that has over 1100 chapters, how however I am only 200 chapters in and I have already spent $25. On average you can buy this book in the store for that cost. Why does it cost so much to read these books? If you could change the points system to where chapters cost maybe three points instead of seven or eight that might ease the burden of paying for these chapters. Also I noticed that the further into the chapters you get the more they cost. Again as I said I’m only 200 chapters it so why did the cost of the chapters go from 7 to 8 is it going to be a one point increase every 100 pages? I have paid for the trial(Which was discounted from 9.99 to 7.99 ) for 500 coins. Add the $10 purchase for 500 points and the individual purchases of 50 points for a dollar this is becoming quite expensive and I don’t know if I can continue to read after this book. It’s obvious that the goal is to get money instead of telling stories so could we try to focus on telling the stories and not how much money were making.

As my title says this app is a shadow of its former self. It has become so heavily focused on profit that it’s becoming unusable. A long time ago you used to be able to watch an ad to unlock a chapter which was awesome for me, then there was a member ship that was a feature for like 2 months where you could read unlimited for like 15 dollars a month,you would also earn fast passes to be used on any locked chapter you would like to unlock. But both of those are gone now they give you genre specific passes or even book specific passes and I haven’t received one yet for a genre or book I actually read so it’s just becoming a joke. But even with all that aside the book selection is also becoming a joke they go through waves where they promote a certain story type and it feels like they suppress everything else until they switch again. Long story short the monthly membership is a joke if you read more than 40 or 50 chapters during that month, the payments for buying chapters is a joke 50 bucks got me like 170 chapters and while that might sound like a lot the majority of stories on the app are 280 plus. Devs if you are reading please help us, reading is my passion and I honestly like this app but it feels like you are making it harder to enjoy, bring back some of the older features I feel like it would make a lot of people happy.

Oh did you open the app? Here’s 2 pop-ups one for novels you don’t like and the other asking you to get a membership. What they don’t tell you is that buying a member ship is when they put a gun to your account’s head, because in order to cancel your membership you have to DELETE your account. I found this out after trying several times to tap on the hyperlink in the fine print to view membership details but kept missing because of how small it was (I have an iPhone 8 so there’s plenty of empty screen to use), and when I did get to my membership information where there was a cancel button: it just tells you that “you have to cancel your subscription to delete your account”. No, I didn’t make a typo, they did and I kept it in (if you didn’t notice, the message should swap “cancel your subscription” and “delete your account”); so the cancel subscription button tells you that you have to cancel your subscription if you take it literally and only if you fix it do you FIGURE OUT how to cancel your subscription (by deleting your account as stated at the beginning). This is just the tipping point of making me leave a review, there are plenty of times where I’ve watched ads for rewards that were just never given even if I tried again, or when a little longer ago (I think the stopped doing this) my reading would be interrupted by pop-ups from the app, or even longer ago when my in-app currency would just expire like 1 or 2 days after I got it when it was supposed to last I think 7 or more. This app just wants your money and will be as sneaky about getting it as it can.

This app has AMAZING!!!! novels and comics/mangas. However, it is almost not worth the money. I love love reading, and I especially love binge reading. I bought the membership which isn’t too bad of deal except the 10 free daily coins aren’t really worth it. The purchase of 800 coins for $7.99 is probably the only good reason for the membership. I think the app layout is great, with needing only some minor enhancements just to make the User interface more friendly. However if you don’t have a decent amount of money to spend on this app, it’s not really worth it. I hope they decide to change it to a membership more like the Wattpad membership or allow an easier way to obtain coins for free. The competition for this app is Wattpad and Webtoons. In comparison of money-wise and story-wise. Both of those app rank far more above this app. I understand that helping the authors is one of the reasons for this, however Wattpad has the exact same thing. They just have a better way of rewarding the Authors and making it simpler for the Readers. I really really wanted to give this 5 stars. But with both the membership and there being no simpler way to obtain coins. I’ve taken off 2 stars, for a 3 star rating. Truly unfortunate, this app could take 1st, but at the moment, they’re just not worth it.

I love this app, but I can barely get any coins or fast passes. I usually use fast passes because I still don’t know how to get coins, however the fast passes only last one chapter and you can only earn them by daily rewards and accomplishing some certain tasks. If you want more people to come to your app, I would recommend doing something with the daily rewards or fast passes so the people can unlock more chapters and keep reading. You should also make every book or comic have at least ten or twenty free chapters in them so people can keep reading and get more hooked. I love Webnovel because of all of the fun and may be inappropriate comics or books and they are really fun to read, but it is not really clear on how to get coins which also tells me you need to make it more clearer so more people understand how you get them and what they do. Also this may look like an essay and you might not want to read this which I’m sorry about, but all I wanted was to let you know, is that you may need to improve your reading app for people like me whom do not understand as much, but love reading the novels, graphic novels, and fan-fics as well as listening to Ebooks, if you did read this thank you for reading it and I hope you can consider all of my suggestions.

Honestly when this app first came out I loved everything about it. I would spend hours on end on it reading. Back then most of the chapters were free expect the last 10 releases. Which you pay maybe 5 or 1 spirit stones “ sorry coins”to unlock. However as time went by they started locking chapters that use to be free already and making stones last limited time. Soon they added a subscription which I don’t mind paying for one to read and unlock all if not a good amount of novels. However, they got rid of it shortly after and it became what it is today. So why the low review? 80% of the chapters that use to be free are locked, you pay 10$ to get 500 coins which would only unlock around (33 to 71) if your lucky and LN can easily have up to 500+ chapters mind you, daily coins last limited time so if you don’t use it quickly well to bad, and honestly the voting system does great injustice for authors since it pretty much set up for us to vote just to get a little bit more coins without reading their LN. I am down with supporting authors and translators for their work but this? Ima have to say no thank you. I may not understand all on how the back end of this works but as it is now I hope to prepare any future readers before they got on this app. If you do, whip out your credit card because trust me you won’t get far without it. I really enjoy reading some of the books on this app. However there are a few times that I have used points to buy fast passes and I never received them. Some of the fast passes I purchased on other times we’re only good for specific books that I had no intention of reading. How is that fair. So I feel like I wasted points. It doesn’t seem like there is a way to earn coins. When you check in daily it gives you points but not coins. I also noticed even though I’m checking in daily it would not register that I actually checked in. I did purchased a membership however even though I’m checking in daily, my daily check-in‘s are not showing all the time. Which affect the extra coins you can earn with the membership. This of extremely frustrating. I have spent a lot of money purchasing coins. This is getting very expensive. I feel there needs to be a way to earn coins. Also I’m not getting any free daily chapters to read any longer like I used to get. Two times now I have purchased coins that I never received. I contacted my bank to get a refund as I was instructed from the app however that didn’t happen either. So I feel like I’m loosing money. Please fix these problems.

This app has tons of stories and mangas of all kinds. It was great while I was on a promotional, but it gets super expensive very quickly. It’s honestly a lot like Wattpad in format, but with comics available. Big concerns: 1. Why are fast passes ever genre specific? Getting 3 a day is great until you realize they don’t work on the book you’re reading. I have 18 free passes but none work on the novel I’m reading. I should be able to get through more than 1 chapter a day (takes about 5 min to read). At that point I might as well read a cereal box. 2. Why are chapters so expensive? Being able to only read 3-4 chapters for $5 is crazy when you consider the fact that they are often short and not edited. I spent $7, which is the price of a normal published ebook, to read 1/5 of my novel (including all the “free passes” I earned at the same time). I came for Under the Oak Tree Riftan’s POV, and they totally lied about release dates for book 2. I’ve only read 1/2 of 1 other novel so far, which I like a lot, but I don’t think I’ll continue. It’s too frustrating for someone who likes to binge read like me. As others are saying on the app itself, it’s turned 100% into a money game. I just hope the artists themselves are getting a good chunk.

My experience with this app recently has not been a good one. The app will frequently log your account out for seemingly no reason and this past week my app crashed and was unable to load at all. I was sad about this but not upset and patiently waited for a bug or patch fix to come out and resolve the issue. (This was after I had exhausted all other troubleshooting methods.) it took about a week before I was able to get back into the app, and when I finally did I found that the app had taken away about 3-4 days worth of in game currency that I had earned. (There is a strict limit on how many free passes you can earn a day.) So I reached out to customer support to see if I could get them back, customer support had me on the line for OVER TWO HOURS just to tell me that I lost the passes due to inactivity on my account and it was ‘outside their policy’ to issue me new ones. Despite the fact I tried to log in and it was this apps failure that caused me to not log in and use them. It overall led to a very disheartening, frustrating and exhausting result: too bad, so sad. They have no accountability or responsibility for the app they are putting out and I strongly recommend finding a different app to read on. There are plenty of better ones available. If I could rate 0 stars I would! EDIT: I read through other reviews and found a bunch of people with the same problem. Then I tried to contact their customer support again and they ignored me for over 45 min! Still waiting for a response that will never come....

The app is great and has a lot of good content and I enjoyed a lot of the stories on here. I wanted to love this app because of all the great novels but it gets really expensive to keep reading. The membership in the beginning was great because it gives you a bulk of coins to use to unlock chapters so I was able to get far into a couple of books. The problem was after that it’s very hard to accrue coins. You hardly get enough to unlock a good amount of chapters and before you know it you’re spending way more than you would on a regular book if you were to go to a store and buy one. I love reading and I especially love binge reading when I get into a book and it was frustrating to always get locked out. I totally understand supporting authors and I am willing to spend money to read it’s just I wish the membership were more like you get a bulk of coins a certain day of the month so you can spend it on a bulk of chapters. Or a flat rate membership subscription that you have unlimited reading. Getting 10 coins a day and then they also expire if you don’t use them in a certain time frame is very frustrating when you’re trying to save them up to unlock a batch of chapters. Buying coins is pretty expensive as well and adds up really fast. Not to mention a lot of the chapters get more expensive as you get into the story needing more and more coins as you get further in the novel. I ended up cancelling my membership because I felt it was not worth it. I see a lot of readers are saying the same and I hope that they come out with a better system for reading then I would totally be willing to try again. To the authors: nothing against you guys I think the stories are really great and I enjoyed reading them to this point.

I’m impressed the amount of stories available. I just got my 30 day login and it’s been a nice little break in my mornings to sit down and read for a few minutes. I came across the Super Gene story on Facebook and was very interested. I have never read a story based on a game before. It was a refreshing change. After reaching the lock chapters, I decided to buy some coins to unlock them because I was so engrossed in the story, I didn’t want to wait. After doing the math, it would have been $200+ to unlock the whole story. I could not justify spending this much on a book. So instead of spending money, I’ve been patiently getting my 3 fast passes a day and reading a few minutes each day. I do really appreciate that this alternative is available, but I would be willing to watch ads for coins if that option became available. I can understand a need for revenue, but if the prices on a full book weren’t so exorbitant, I’m sure the volume of sales would increase also. I can’t imagine I’m the only person with this issue. I would gladly increase my rating to 4 star for an alternative option for those of us on a tight budget. It seems that the restriction would encourage people to explore other titles while waiting on unlocks, but I find it difficult to read more than one story at a time and keep everything straight, so I’ve refrained from that also. There are some bugs with updating/refreshing the fast pass count when receiving them, but I haven’t noticed anything seriously frustrating or app-breaking. That being said, I want to say thanks to the devs for making this available, and the authors who take the time to write. I look forward to reading more and hope to increase my rating to a 5-star as things improve.

I did not like reading, even hated it. Goes to say, I am not an avid reader, however the chapter were bearable. I started actually reading more. I did not know there was free chapters you earn every day. So I missed weeks worth, then I began collecting them. After a few weeks I noticed they would disappear and finally found out you loose them. They give them to you and take them away. Basically punishing you for conserving them on a book or book you are looking forward to reading. There are other free fast passes however they are only meant for specific genres. Again, taking things they give you and try and make you buy stuff. This is the complaint I have with this. I have lost a lot of so called “free statewide fast-passes”, I guess they also discriminate against slow readers as well. After, I complete the book I am on, I believe I will move on to some other app or just stop reading again. Also, some books began with charging 1 fast-pass and started charging 2-3 fast-passes per chapter. Either webnovel or the authors have control of this. Its a waste of money paying for short chapters. Charging to much for so little. If you are good with this then stay with webnovel. I just went from 20 fast-passed to 16 within 2 days of not using them. I have been logging in for over 800 days. I do not like writing reviews or being negative about apps, especially about something I onced liked. However taking the fast-passes is just too much. After being a loyal reader, promoting the app and logging in day after day. Yet they still take it all away. Well, thats my rant, happy reading or searching for other sites. Good luck and take care.

As much as i want to show artists support this app makes it extremely hard. I had bought 500 coins using 2 transactions of 250 the first didn’t show immediately so i bought another not thinking to much about it thinking that it will show soon enough ill just have 500 coins but no it never showed you guys took my 5.24$ and never gave me the coins for the first transaction and after 3 service chats which the first one sophie ended the chat without ever fixing anything and tried to claim that i used the coins providing yesterday transaction history as proof even when i keep telling her that i knowthat i bought and spent coins yesterday but im speaking about how today i woke up and bought coins but didnt spend because i didn’t get said coins the next person was a little but more helpful recognizing that i did infact make 2 transactions this morning and although money was took coins were not given for one of those transactions but couldn’t do anything for me and only told me to wait 24 hrs and ask apple to give me a refund because the app glitched and he couldnt see the status of that transaction. Shout out to rofus or idk how to spell it but youll know when you see the name if you use live chat. I will not be using this app anymore sadly after i get my refund and use my remaining coins.

This app was great at first, not everything was free sure. But it did give you a chance to earn way to read locked episodes, like daily check ins and other things, the problem I had with was when I saved up my free spirit coins to use on a story I was reading, when I caught up I have extra spirit coins so I thought I’d save those for later. Little did I know that those coins expire, so when I found a new story I wanted to read with it, the app have expired +200 spirit coins, this would be on me, I probably should I spend my coins when I got the first notification, I just didn’t have a story to spend them on. Sense than every time I check in I don’t get spirit coins for some reason? I think those were switched out for points? If you watch a add you can get 1 fast pass which lets you read one episode of your story or comic. You can only watch one add a day though so if you are trying to binge or catch up on a comic it makes that much harder. Yes I love the comics I’m reading, I have tried looking for them on other platforms because of this problem with the one a day if you can’t buy spirit coins. I’m sorry if this review made little sense but the point if they added a add system, where if you watch a add you can get spirit coins or fast passes it would be much more helpful.

This used to be one of the best applications I ever used. I was spending hours reading every day and it never bothered me investing money in order to support my favorite authors and the translators that made it possible for me to read these books. During this past year, a great number of changes took place. I was not pleased with all of them but I kept using the application without complains. But these last six months, a great number of books were/are suddenly dropped (they are already complete but they simply stop translating them) although they were/are very popular. They arbitrarily decide to stop translating books without ever offering a single explanation. Many loyal readers are outraged. You might have already spend 50$ and more to read a single book and never read the ending. This is not professional at all and a major turn off for every decent reader. So if you decide to download this app, be warned and only read the books that are already described as COMPLETE because it’s really a sin to spend years (some of these books have more than 1,500 chapters) and money to read an awesome book and ending up reading part of it. Hopefully a decent application will appear soon to cover the gap that Webnovel created.

This app used to be the best application to read translated and web novels out there, but now it feels like every other over priced app out there and is turning into EA. I downloaded this app and had been a part of it since the beginning. It allowed one to buy, and gather the resource to unlock chapters, though it still had random ads. You could gather and horde resources for weeks to binge read a novel you were behind in or one that updated weakly. When the first major update that removed the random ads everyone cheered. Then slowly over time the amount of resources you can horde became less, the chapter prices became more over priced. This continued till they began making the resources expire after only a few days of non use making it just as demanding as a idle game. Finally now the chapters for books are so over priced that you can buy a physical copy for a fraction of what it costs to read it here on this app. The resources are mostly only bought with money and the resources that are received daily for a free chapter are for random books one may never like and any resource you get that is useful expired in 2 days making it so that you can only read the book you really want once a week or pay the steep prices per chapter

Daily logins might get you a fast pass, but that’s about the only way to get something free. The prices for unlocking a chapter are getting more and more expensive while each coin package is still as much as ever for even a slightly significant amount. There isn’t a way to earn free coins except for maybe in an event, and then it’s negligible anyway. This is a money-grubbing app, through and through. It used to be about 13 coins for an chapter, now many are 30 or close to that. Unless the book/comic is literally THAT good, I won’t be unlocking these, especially when they only have about 4 or 5 free chapters. Usually it would be much closer to a dozen. If you dare to buy into “privilege” in order to unlock content early, it will cost you about a hundred coins per chapter after the first one, not including the unlock price. After the first few tiers it gets more and more expensive, especially for some of the books. Furthermore, privilege only last a single month, so good luck if you mistakenly buy it even a day before the month ends; because, it will end at the start of a new month.

I really like the app and the book I’m reading is wonderful. The problem is, I’m not getting what I paid for. I paid the subscription but did not receive the 500 pts, nor did I receive the 10 daily that should amount to 300 throughout the month. Also, just now, I checked my point balance, which was 14, before I went to check in to claim my free Fast Pass. After claiming it, I went back to check my balance and the point balance was 1. I lost two chapters of reading, by this mishap. Does the “free” fast pass charge us? So then I tried to use my fast pass to at least read one more chapter, and it said I had no fast pass left. I’ve spent a lot of money on this app and I really enjoy it, but I cannot keep supporting it, if I do not receive the points I actually pay for. As is, in a book with 1200+ chapters, you already end up paying about $200 for one book. I really don’t see why I am not even getting the points I paid for, when this book alone is already making you so much money. I really hope I get the points I paid for, or I will be forced to abandon a great book and withdraw my membership.

I have been reading on this app for years! The stories are great the setup was easy and I did not mind paying for extra coins to read. Overall it WAS one of the best apps out there! I have now dropped them from a 5 star to a 2 and the only reason it is a two is for the writers and artists who do such a wonderful job! When they added the privilege purchases they turned into a money hungry app and the privilege never works. I had the same issue happen twice, where I had read and paid for chapters and needed to purchase the privilege. What you don’t know is with the privilege even if you read and paid for chapters it doesn’t matter. You will get the same chapters you already read and paid for before until a ton of money getting coins to purchase a en higher privilege to purchase more chapters under the privilege. Yep it doesn’t unlock the chapters for you it gives you access for you to pay for them. And the customer service is a joke! They can’t help you, compensate, or fix the issue. Instead they talk to you like you are an idiot and do. It understand anything. So if you like spending tons of money to pay for something 3 times just to read one chapter this is the app for you.

I find the barrier to entry very annoying, I’ve been using this platform for a while and I still don’t understand how it works. Theres a lot of different points used for various things that aren’t explained well and accumulating said points is equally confusing. The content filtering is also quite annoying as there is a lot of smut being promoted with no real way to filter it. There is seemingly no quality assurance, I see many highly rated novels that are incredibly mediocre/ cringey mostly popular because they are r18. There needs to be a way to filter and promote one’s preferences better and a content grading separate from reviews. The per chapter payment is kinda crazy. Long stories can be upwards of $500 dollars and They barely pay the writers anyway, it’s hard to justify spending so much on the platform rather than directly paying it to the writers themselves. I would much prefer the streaming platform subscription model. I would read a lot more on the platform if it were available. I see no reason why crunchyroll can be $5-$10 and this can’t.

I love reading the stories, but I have almost no money. And it’s great that the first 20 or so chapters are typically free but when there are over a couple hundred to a thousand chapters in a book and you love to binge read, paying for every chapter just doesn’t seem worth it. I’m sure people would be more willing to pay for the chapters if they were cheaper, or maybe just make an app for people to read for free, and leave tips if the book was good? I’m sure those who love to read wouldn’t mind helping an author out with tips. But you would have more people on this app if only we didn’t have to pay to read. Most books on other apps cost about.. $5-30? And those are just the higher prices, depending on the book/app you use. From what I can tell, if I were to pay for every chapter in a book with 500 chapters, I’d be paying more than if I bought it off a different app or even at a bookstore. And as I said, so many people would love to keep this app if it weren’t so pricey. We understand authors are trying to make a living but please understand that some people would like to be able to read something without having to spend the last of their food money just so they can relax after a long day of work. I’ve had this app once before because I saw a story I liked on it. I deleted it because of the lock on chapters. I had hoped it had changed a year later when I downloaded it again but it only seems to have gotten worse. I would have loved to have left 5 stars but unfortunately I can’t bring myself to here. The authors that write these stories are very creative and I absolutely love their works. However, the people running this app do not seem to have their audiences best interests in mind. I’m just saying, if the prices were lower, more people wouldn’t mind using this app, and you would probably be making more money than you are now with the ridiculous prices.

I have been reading on this app for about 3 years and have experienced a lot. That’s not why I’m writing this review. I’m writing to ask why did you do update 7.0.0? It changed the entire app. The ui(?) was just fine the way it was, you changed it in such a way that it is a struggle for people who don’t like to read in dark mode 24/7. It is pretty much in dark mode all the time even with light mode on. Maybe I could get used to it, but I probably won’t. Also the new logo makes webnovel seem like a comic reading website. Also you changed everything except the reading experience which I’m thankful for but still this was a garbage update and a waste of money. Now a personal problem, why does pretty much everything expire, I can understand the passes that let you get free chapters but why points? It is so hard now to be able to earn points and get cosmetics! My little rant is now over, the important thing to know is that the old Webnovel is better and this update is garbage, especially the logo! You might as well change the name to webcomic cause it no longer looks like a novel reading website.

Authors are rather good compared to some of the others I have read else where. This app has a way of making it feel like your not reading the book alone and your apart of the community and sometimes it plays very well with book you may be reading. The negatives, I don’t fully understand how chapters get unlocked you may be reading a series and find some of it is locked behind a pay wall that seems to be if you wait you can read it for free but you can pay to read it early but I’m not certain. It may be you have to pay to continue reading there nothing that really explains how it works if you want to read for free it only shows you ways to pay. Which is a huge negative honestly if i didn’t enjoy the content as much as i do it would be 1 star. Also I just don’t understand it completely yet and when i try to research about it online all i get is other people trying to find out how they can use it to make easy money as a writer which in itself is a bad sign. You know what i changed my mind 2 stars instead of 3. I may change it again once I understand it more.

The app is clean and they have a wide selection of works, the categories are kinda vague it would be nice if the search function worked better. Honestly, the app is very nice and seems to be taking it fairly slowly when it comes to forcing us to pay to read. My main problem is that ads were recently introduced on every page, they are still small for now but I read in the dark and they are all like bright suns in my eyes at night, it’s super annoying, especially with how bad the quality has been on the works being pumped out, it feels like it wasn’t a person but a program that translated them not to mention the quality of the story itself. The classics are great and they’ve bought solo leveling so that’s going for them, but I doubt they’ll have an easy time in the future especially if they don’t start grabbing up some of the better pieces or figure something out about the quality of their works. TLDR good app, now has ads, stay away from voting polls the new stuff is trash

I have been reading for more that a year with this app. There were times that fast passes where not given. But I let it pass. Now that I frequently purchase privilege chapters and batch chapters, I feel I need to comment about these. I recently made a batch purchase for 17 chapters that did not open until the intended chapter. I checked the opened chapters and realized that I’m missing 5 chapters. I know I had a Privilege purchase but it isn’t right that I will be missing those 5 chapters for whatever reason they have. I still purchased it and their system should have started from the unopened chapters. I had reached out via chat and they said unfortunately the system does not refund electronically. It’s like saying, “No Return, No Exchange.” This is how Asian markets work. Returning is a hassle for them and not good for their business. No wonder writers here are so overworked to push their work just to get paid. So typical of having underdogs feeding the masters. I’m mean, well, start by being honest. Better start checking what you have purchased or what you gift the writers. A big chunk goes to the bosses and not to the writers.

While the books are good reads it takes forever to come up with enough coins to unlock chapters… I’m talking like one coin per add where on other platforms similar to this you’re getting 15 here 30 there and same with the daily check-ins. I understand that the reason for the charges is to pay these authors but we can’t even read A BOOK unless you have hundreds of dollars to unlock the entire book and you basically have to pay real money to get anywhere with the books… it would get more stars from me if the daily checkin actually helped to contribute to your coin balance instead of points that you can “cash in at the store” to get a discount on the cost of unlocking the chapters. The daily checkins give you points not coins and if you do get coins you get a few. While the stories are good and pretty immersive, I would like it better if your subscription went towards unlocking the whole book or other books without forcing you to pay a fortune just to finish a book.

Don’t get me wrong, I highly enjoyed using this app. So much so that I even was purchasing their privileges, a premium service that allows the reader to skip the wait and read the most recent chapters. I come to find out, privileges only last a month. No biggie: I enjoy supporting the authors content and drop the ≈$30 per novel. Later I come to find out if you purchase your privilege, for example, on the 29th of the month, it will actually expire a few days later on the last day of the month. What astounded me further, is that you can purchase privileges for several different novels, weeks apart, yet they will still all expire on the same day. Several times I reached out to online help, which came in the form of a single entity named ‘Matt’, to voice concern. Despite being a premium member who paid quite a bit of money regularly, it was clear through the fake help chat bot that they do not value customer service and have no intentions of actually retaining a loyal customer base. Until this issue is resolved, I would recommend using this app to only view the free content, or forgo it altogether.

There privilege system is a Scam. If you really enjoy a book and want to purchase privilege on it don’t do it until the first of the month. If the writer is 36 chapters ahead you end up spending a LOT of money to catch up. I spent 50 bucks to get caught up because I was really interested in the novel. I even pay monthly as a vip on top of this. All of a sudden I find out by customer service that if I had purchased it on the first I would have it for 30 days. However, regardless of WHEN you purchase the 30 day privilege those 30 days end on the 1st of each month. Like... really? I just spent 50 bucks on a 30 day privilege I was only able to use for two days. I’m a vip, shouldn’t you do things special for the vip customers? Like the privilege doesn’t expire? However vip doesn’t even have any perks what so ever! My suggestion if your going to get into this one is be patient and wait for the chapters to come out regularly. The privilege isn’t permanent (though it should be with how much they charge) and there customer service is a joke. They take advantage of their customers, know it, and honestly don’t care.

This would be an awesome book app if they didn’t practically force you to continually pay to read instead of using alternatives such as watching adds.

It’s always telling me to open up the app when I’m already inside and logged in the app. And why did you guys put the x on the profile. Every time I click my profile pic it will log me out?!!! Worst update ever!!

I like everything except for the fast pass. It only gives 1 daily and you can not increase the amount with levels. I also don't like the author membership thing were the author can lock up to 50 chapter or more. To unlock those you will need to spend money to buy coins to unlock it. Which I think is stupid in my opinion. The membership would been nice if it gives unlimited reading on some novels even if its not unlimited to all of them. Over all its good but it will take a very long time to finish one novel without spending money to buy coins and membership.

After the latest update all of the bottom bars are gone, I can't access library, profile, etc. Needs to be fixed asap

This app will make you buy chapter s for a high price like 30 dollars for coins u can use to buy 200 small chapter then account on app will forget you bought those chapters with coins n will make you re buy if want to re read a chapter u bought already . a total rip off n they have no way to track what u bought n give you those chapters back u have to come up with proof like screen shots ! Who thinks of taking screenshots before it happens

I hate that you have to use stones to read these novels

It’ll either crash or just not work, or both. The voices also take long pauses every time there’s a break between paragraphs.

I HATE having to spend money on coins. There should be an option to watch ads to get coins.

Honestly I love the app, and I’ve loved tons of the novels on it; but everything is so expensive. I really liked the old version where it was a lot easier to get spirit stones. I understand they have to make money but a dollar for 50 coins is unreasonable, there should be more ways to earn coins and fast passes. I would recommend this app but be aware that it can be frustrating at times. Though a good portion of the well written novels cost passes or coins, there all also a ton of free ones you just have to do some digging.

I enjoyed every chapters,every characters portrayed in this novel.It made me giggle it made me fall in love.Mo Ting and Tangning the everlasting couple.I recommended this novel to everyone.one of the best .❤️❤️❤️

Great stories but I paid 70$USD to unlock chapters and haven’t even finished the book. The subscription only allows a certain number of coins per month and you can’t read very many chapters. Feeling scammed. I’ll be looking for other apps where subscriptions provide unlimited.

The site is filled with failed writers and haters who just post hateful and disturbing comments to insult authors. Despite reporting multiple times, They do nothing to remove these people, ruining their site further. Blocking and reporting functions are useless and just for show. And if you reach out to customer care, they will make it so complicated , you feel like leaving is better than reporting the crime. I used to be one of the writers but left due to the horrible atmosphere That is in fact cyber crime when someone threatens your death or tell you to kill yourself! That’s not how you run a site.

I loved this app for finding and reading books, but with the latest update, I can’t find my library of books or even my profile, to recharge coins. What the heck guys!

Can’t use audio properly…

Imagine waking up one day and discovering that the story that you so started to love and looked forward to read is unavailable because the app stopped working. I could not log in anymore so all the money and time I spend on this app is gone. Just error after error and the funny thing is that there was not even an update.

Huge cash grab, do not get their membership, you can’t earn coins and to keep reading you must keep paying.

Every time I use a gift card to pay for gold and finish reading chapters through said gold, after they are gone it feels like I’m being punished for reading. It used to be that I’d immediately have adds to let me read extra chapters, but now it’s been days and I’m really tired of this. Please fix it so I can read more.

Was not able to create an account, read to chapter 10-waste of time

Won’t let you create an account appears to try to force you to use your existing account information if you try to create an account it will not accept any password configuration and then said my IMEI was banned? Good, I won’t be going anywhere near this phishing app again.

Paid a lot of money to unlock a book then when I’m a little over half way through they pull the book for auditing. I contacted customer support they said it would be 3 days….been well over 1 1/2 weeks and still not available and customer service is completely useless and refuses to refund my money. Refuse to support this app anymore

They literally can’t even fix their own audio. I asked customer service to fix it and they said they’ll fix it in the next update.🤦

85 percent of the novels are Chinese translated and there isn’t much original works every creator is just stealing a re publishing each others books

Idk what the devs did, but the longer I use the faster the battery drains also it heats the phone very bad. It can drain up to 10~15% in 10 mins once it crosses an hour of usage or when the phone heats up. There is something that the app does in the background which makes the phone to heat up. Fix it please

The robotic voice in offline mode is gone after the new update. It’s broken now.. Please bring back the robotic voice! it’s the only voice i want to listen to, others are so cringe and slow paced. Please fix it!

Don’t waste your money. They make you purchase coins and then when you are invested in the story they start withholding chapters unless you also purchase privilege. I purchased it because I just want to finish the god damn story, and it said it would unlock it to chapter 157, it didn’t, and now I’m out $20 and I didn’t get to finish the book and I’m not staying on this stupid app for them to release one chapter a day. Other apps are way better, where you can purchase the whole story and no hidden costs. Absolute robbery.
