There is a small part like that but once you progress, the reward is laughable. I have been playing for years & still notice more playable content. You can change your lieutenants, upgrade their armor, change weapons & items( rings, scrolls, cloaks, etc), enchant items, & bedazzle them as well. No one’s army will be exactly the same. Subtle differences with different jewels & enchantments. Definitely a town building game as well, you can upgrade all buildings which help you gain certain items for the city. Like I said extremely entertaining with so many different outcomes. Chest rewardsThis game is very fun, and I enjoy playing daily. The events , tournaments, and all that are very enjoyable and well done. The ability to translate and understand everyone is also very nice. The community is mostly very welcoming and nice to one another. Of course there are outliers, but that is to be assumed. Not everyone wants to play for everyone to succeed. It is a war game after all. My only disappointment is chest rewards. At a certain point in the game food, and speed boosts being the main thing that comes out of the rewards is annoying. Speed boosts, during the ancient vaults, and runic raids. It’s a little much to be getting so many of those. Food, coming out of rewards chests so often becomes useless after a certain level. Our clan buildings are over stocked with food, and the army only uses so much food. Most people have billions of food just stuck in the items because it’s not being used. It would be nice to have the odds of food coming out of clan chests to be dropped, and more of the resources to be raised. I understand that this is a business, but it might encourage more people to support that business if they get the things that actually help them grow. Most people don’t have the money to be spending weekly to achieve growth in the game. But, some players may be more likely to buy a few things here and there if they received the proper resources to grow without spending. Fun, Pay To Win, and IntenseI’ve played the game for a little over a year now. It’s a lot of fun for sure. But what makes it fun is the people in the game and, once you figure it out, the math behind the battles. I willingly admit I have spent a LOT of money on this game, but for the amount of fun I’ve had, it’s been with it. That being said, I just started a new city (a new game if you will) and I see a lot of changes in the UI. Devs, PLEASE, do not bury things in nested menus forcing users to have to click and click and click. A click and a scroll is much easier on us. The filters on the telescope are nice for crypting/monsters but it’s a lot faster to simply see the whole list and find the one you’re looking for. And also, please PLEASE give us a way to extract clan player data and battle data from the game. Despite what how much I’ve enjoyed the game I’m really close to quitting because of the work and difficulty to manage a clan. I just want to play the game and make sure my clan members are active and we have ZERO TOOLS to do that with. The graphics are fine. Stop mucking with them. Stop taking the menus and nesting features. Give us tools to manage clans, and especially give us SOMETHING to better moderate chat rooms. Having one admin is not enough. Let us assign like, one moderator PLEASE. I’ve got a list of things that I think would really help the user experience, to simplify how we interact with the game and each other and allow for better clan management. Not really like the ads, but I ended up liking itI joined because of the ad where you collect more guys and move in a line shooting the bad guys. You know the one. There were a very few levels of that sort of gameplay besides 6 short rounds per day that aren’t really like the ads as much, most of the game is just collecting materials to build up your kingdom, sending your 3 captains out to explore crypts for materials or fight monsters for points, and interacting with other players. You can join a clan— which I have and I really enjoy the people I play with—and you can be attacked and demolished by people who pour literally hundreds of real life money into leveling up. I have definitely put a few bucks into this game as it’s pretty difficult to move up and recover from big attacks without it. If you’re wanting the game because of an ad, don’t. If you’re wanting a game that will take up time and give you small serotonin hits when you level up or get to click buttons to complete daily tasks, get it. If you don’t have real life money to put into it… well, it IS possible to grow, you just have to be careful about how you save/spend the daily gold. Great game but….After a bit it becomes a battle of wallets than strategy. The game likes to drain the valuable assets you need to succeed, like gold and tar, limited might rewards and mercs, so you have incentive to buy it with cash. It’s fun to play and it’s very easy to get into relationships with your clan, if you’re in a decent one, but be careful of the wallet warriors. Some-many are very aggressive about the money they blow, and aggressive about defending their right to do so while either subtly or outright trolling those who can’t. It becomes a battle of narcissistic dominance than player strategy, but that’s life in 2023, isn’t it? Lol. (Good luck humanity.) If players with money see others get ahead based on intelligence or strategy, look out, the passive aggressive attacks in chat will happen, or aggressive attacks in the game in general. Also be careful of the ones who climb Might quickly, they pay to get there, run their mouths in chat, bully others, and then don’t know how to play the game. It’s fairly common. Then there’s the low intelligence types who say offensive things or go on in the chat about the animation of female body parts. I guess the game developers really prefer, and favor, stupid people or people who spend money. People who actually play the game, play with tactics, and put effort into it will be slowed down, trolled, and eventually pushed away. It’s a game for wallet warriors. Awesome game!I really enjoy playing Total Battle. I’m not one for social media but I love my clan and clan mates so it makes logging on each day a lot of fun. As far as the other comments about it being costly, that’s really up to you. There are ways to get the things you need but you have to play every day and complete your daily tasks to get them. I recommend you join an active clan. I get close to 300 chests per day being in my clan. This gives me most of what I need to grow, and we get more during certain events. Again you can’t get them if you don’t play. I do spend money on the golden pass. It’s $20 per season which is about a month long. You double your rewards with this pass. If you like strategy games and are looking to meet some great people in the total battle community from all over the world then this game is for you. My only suggestion would be implementing some kind of a warning when your shield of peace is close to expiration. 5 hours into it…I’m a real weird case here, I downloaded to see if it actually had those math levels as advertised, But that’s just a small part of it, The meat of the game is your city and building, strengthening, Forging, Crafting and so forth…I don’t like strategy games, I’ve honestly never been into them but this one sucked me in like others haven’t. Growth is the same for everyoneThe game makes you upgrade everything equally. Therefore all players upgrade their cities the same. There is no secret advantage that you could choose. Your capital level and hero level gives away how strong you are. So someone with better troops always knows your weaknesses. We should be able to pick different paths of strengths to fool attackers. Like for instance, we should have a secret protection of stronger health or a secret talent where we get a double strikes. How about being able to build up our warehouse as strong as we want, without having to upgrade all the other buildings, so we don’t lose so much when attacked. Maybe it could be a hidden boost that protects our warehouse 100 percent. Any advantage where a strong attacker at least pays some price for attacking a weaker city. How about a secret boost we could buy with gold, where we acquire all the conquest points after a player burns our city? Honestly love itWas skeptical at first as I had never really played games like this before. Started as something to kill time when bored at work. Stayed because of the camaraderie amongst clans and kingdoms. There are whole governing bodies of players who maintain order in the game in their respective kingdoms and they help protect and educate new players. Which I find fascinating because there is nothing that prompts you to do so in the game. The Rules of Engagement, the clan diplomats, judges, high councils, none of this is built into the game. It is all user created and it is it's own unique community right here in the palm of your hand. I will say, that to really get ahead in this game at a reasonable pace, it is most helpful to at the very least get the twenty dollar golden pass every other month. It lasts until the end of the 30 day season so it's best to get it at the beginning. It allows you to unlock a lot of helpful resources you will need to grow and stay productive. All in all, I have to give this game 5 stars. It is a great escape from the stress of day-to-day life that you can easily pick up and put down at your leisure. Though, it is very easy to lose an hour or two unintentionally while playing this game. Especially in the first month or so while you are growing rapidly. Account blocked???I tried to log back onto my account it says I have been blocked due to violation of game rules whatever that means that’s it. No explanation still waiting for support team to reach back out to me. No warning nothing just blocked I’ve been playing for years spent countless amount of money. Fun, but yet frustratingI would like to say that in the beginning when you started it was a ton of fun. Fast, growing and Still is. The frustrating part of it though is that when the kingdom opens up, you have different players that do not abide by the rules of your kingdom. You have players that have different might. Then you have these players that come over that have 1 billion in might. And you have only 1 million 894 thousand and you get attacked. How is that fair? I guess in today’s world you wouldn’t have a war. And expect the other person to follow the rules. But these kind of games are frustrating to those who want to play. Company denials are intentionally dismissiveEveryone who says this game is expensive is telling the truth. The community in the game is a double edged sword. If it weren’t for the other players the game would be a dud. But it’s that loyalty which makes you want to spend money and achieve. So good it almost ruined my lifeI downloaded this game thinking it’d be fun for half an hour and I would throw it away after that, and boy was I wrong. Once you get past the intro, Total Battle becomes a complex, addicting, never ending series of increasingly grand scale strategy. It has a beautiful and well crafted setting and world, a massive community, well constructed mechanics, complexity in gameplay, and one of the best clan builds I’ve seen. I was completely glued for a week until I had to uninstall it so I wouldn’t lose my job and girlfriend! it’s been well over a decade since I’ve been that stimulated and had that much fun playing any game, including triple a titles. It’s fun but expensiveThis game is a lot of fun it’s very addicting. There are so many features, and so much to learn. The community of other players are fun and gracious. That said it’s very expensive to play. There are other games out there that are not as bad maybe they don’t have the same features, but they have similar but cost less. I know I know you don’t have to pay to play, but let’s be real. If you’re going to advance in any way where you can play it functionally every day you’re gonna need to make purchases and that’s the way this game is set up. When you attack or other people attack you the loss of resources is rather significant and unless you’re gonna do one or two attacks a day you’re gonna need to purchase more resources. I think that’s the biggest drawback of this game because there are other games out there that are just as fun and you can play them every day and go a month without spending money. Enjoyable GameThis is an enjoyable game to play. I am still learning the different ways to engage the gameplay. As with almost all games, if you pay to purchase items you will advance faster and further. But this game does not require you to do that if you are content with building and growing at a regular pace. I enjoy it and have yet to spend any money, (don’t hold that against me :-) ). Overall the developers have done an amazing job and I appreciate their effort to continue to make improvements. Good game, expensive and with cheatersI like the concept of the game, the sense of belonging to a clan, the working together. Also I’ve found great and helpful people, It’s very expensive though if you want to develop and be able to compete. We’ve been warning developers for months about people with scripts who can steal rss from you but nothing ever happens. Lots of big players who spent a lot are quitting because of that and because instead of giving new challenges devs are just adding more events, meaning you need to spend even more, not only money but your time so it’s getting unsustainable. As a full T9 it makes no sense for me to keep getting vp as reward, or scrolls, regular captain fragments, or even orbs. Can we get more crystal palace/mini games?Game is fun, when you first start it's a ton of fun. Then once you have been playing for a bit, it gets harder and slower. The thumbnail for the app is that little mini game where you move your soldiers left or right while they shoot, which is funny since that's the most minor part of the actual game. I downloaded this app because it was an add on another game and I thought that was what I was downloading... NOPE. The mini game/crystal palace game disappears pretty quickly and it's just gone forever... letdown! I wish we could replay levels we have already won, even if there's no prizes to be won. Great GameTotal Battle is a great game! There are a couple of matters that should be looked at, and adjusted. Every kingdom has player created and enforced rules of engagement. If one chooses not to abide by the rules of engagement, they subject themselves to being made and “Outlaw.” If one is declared and outlaw, the outlawed player can be attacked repeatedly and relentlessly looted. This looting can be particularly frustrating if the looted player spent a lot of money acquiring items. Gold ingots ought to be convertible to gold coins within individual players castles. Enforcement of taxes should always be a matter of the castles deciding how much contribute to the kingdom, but the ingots should not be otherwise worthless. After a certain level, it becomes very difficult to grow one’s avatar. Requiring Billions of points seems excessive. Overall the game is quite entertaining..Danno21Version: 321.1

Free to Play, Pay to ProceedTotal Battle is a fun game. I enjoyed the battles and the progression. I sorta laughed that it is a fantasy game that your troops have guns, but whatever. It is fun. Chapters 1-29 I enjoyed, and then hit the wall. I couldn’t revive troops without gold or potions and neither readily comes. I ran out of lumber and stone which city elements generates slowly so have to “battle” for more resources. Those are boring and result in troops being injured which can’t revive. Unless you pay money. You can wait for literal hours or you can pay. I saw they recommended joining a clan. I don’t always want to join a clan. It is more pressure to spend money. I like the game butThe game glitches a lot and I’m wondering if there will ever be more levels in the mini games where you can purchase the legendary pass otherwise that feature of the game is a waste. The game is very costly some of the in game purchases should be cheaper because you can’t really build your clan strong and fast without spending money and can’t really achieve anything without buying seasonal passes. I recommend some slight changes to developers for players that do spend money like for example if you pay for the golden pass for the triumphal challenge it should automatically include the heroic pass benefits for the trials of Olympus. Vice Versa for the bundle pass for the triumphal challenge including the mythic rewards for the trials of Olympus. A happy customer will continue to play the game if they know they’re getting a bang for their buck and not paying for everything. Other than what’s listed about as far as game play. I hate that members with way higher levels take advantage of players with way lower levels. I also dislike that some of the challenges only seem to benefit higher level players, the smaller level players don’t get to get much rewards because we can’t compete with the higher levels for top spots if they put people on somewhat equal levels in the competitions with top prizes for that level it works be more fair for all players. Very unorganized seems to be predator based game where the higher organized ranking players control how the game is actually played. “The kings court” will hold you “accountable” for attacking another player and you are bullied to pay for “damages” or resources lost in the game during battle. None of the following is disclosed in the ToS or in how to play the game. Apparently each “world” has different “RoE” “Rules of engagement” which now changes how the game is designed to be played and what is expected of you and how much you need to pay them to stay playing. The “players” will ask to be paid in game resources. If you do not pay they make it hard to play this game as players with higher ranks will bully you to play and pay them. Players set up multiple accounts to keep up the amount of numbers to dominate other players. Some offer for you to buy resources from them from their websites posted in the game chat. Even for other player’s actions that maybe on your team. You are harassed and bullied until you pay in game resources. If you do not pay the other players will make it so difficult to play you will want to quit. You don’t know or can you Identify who is the games admin or is it just another player in the game telling you to pay. Very expensive to play competitivelyFirst off the game is fun but it is very expensive to play competitively. It would take you three months to do what somebody can do in one week for $250 pack. They even have a $500 pack support for the game is there, but they are slow. I had a problem and they kept overwhelming me with emails that wanted me to explain the same problem over and over again until eventually I just got sick of it in gave up so in the end my problem was never fixed. All I know the game is a lot of fun. Everything works fine, they do maintenance just like any game but unfortunately I don’t have the cash flow to level up as fast as others. I spent $2000 in the first month and my friend spent $7000 the first month so when I go in the farm for the valor points, that’s what levels you up I get like 200,000 compared to his 2 billion so he levels everything up very quickly whereas me I’m looking at a couple months plus but this money is no object for you. Game has gone downhill fastUsed to be fun game. Allowed for different strategies to fit the player. After a couple of years, game has changed where free to play players have no real chance. All the good parts sucked out to force players to purchase packages. No new clan based upgrades to the games in over 2 years. Every time they try and add a new way to spend on the game, they mess some other parts up requiring multiple patches. In 5 yrs, it’s obvious they don’t utilize a sandbox server to test out changes. They have been blocking a lot of accounts claiming there is violation of rules. After 5+ days, get your account back. They admit it’s a screw up. They do NOT compensate for the packages you purchased (mercenaries, time limited things for 2 day events, etc). You bought something and it’s just gone. Complain about it to your credit card company and they will permanently ban your account. Our clan has had 7 people banned in the past week. 2 got a email saying “you can log back in. We made a mistake” followed by 5 more people. All top members of our clan when there is once a quarter event on going. Find a different game. Developers and support no longer care about the players. Game has been bought/sold several times in past few years. After the reply from the developers, they should look at the many players in BBX that they have blocked and then days later unlocked their accounts…WITHOUT compensation! Scam of a game.After playing for a year, have deleted this scam. Customer support is horrible. There are MAJOR bugs in the game that have been ongoing for over a year. They always lie. Servers have never been upgraded to deal with their horrible lag. Furthermore, the developers are shady and even have their own accounts that come in to cause troubles and wars, and attacking your cities, destroying your armies, in hopes that you will spend more money. I have also witnessed clans outright bribing moderators to mute people they don’t like, and customer support taking no action against this, even when given 100’s of screenshots and videos. In short, this game is nothing more than a pay-to-lose scam that is full of bugs. Lastly, it is coded so poorly, it will eat up your battery, and make your cpu run hot, even when nothing is going on. This is true even on the fastest machines. Response to developer comment: Everything you posted is a lie. Unauthorized ongoing charges to my Credit Card, customer service never responds to any questions.While the game it’s self is fun, I’ve run into a few things that do not seem ethical. The only reason I noticed charges on my account was because I had been missing items from a Gold Pass so I went back to make sure I did in fact purchase the correct package. I did, but noticed several monthly charges also that I know I did not make because I contacted support to ask about a lot of Gold Pass items I didn’t receive, so I wasn’t planning on buying anything else until that was resolved. Chat customer service never responded so I filed an unauthorized charge with Apple and they took 1-2 days to investigate or do whatever they do and refunded the money. A few minutes later, I’m blocked from the game. No explanation. Again, I contacted customer service and no explanation. I finally figured out searching online that they block a player if they submit a change back on Apple or via your credit card. Money thieves and no supportI started this game months ago. Very addictive and fun at first. You need to make purchases in order to get ahead and get with a strong clan in order to make it. Which after months I did manage to do just that. Very supportive nice players from all over the world kinda cool actually. After 1 day everything slows down to snails paceThe game regularly closes. In the middle of doing something and I have to restart and replay whatever I was doing. The whole point of this is for the game to make actual money. I know that going in. Started out fun, then it dragsWhen you first start the game you have bonus troops, free speed ups, and your entire kingdom can be established in a day or two. After that, it is an incredible grind if you aren’t willing to spend money on the game for troops, resources, etc. Lets say you have to grind for valor points. To gain any appreciable amount means fighting higher levels which means high troop loss. Reviving troops isn’t very economical so you train new ones but that depletes your silver. So, you have to find a farm to grind silver. I ran the numbers on how much time it would take to grind monsters for research.
