One of the better dating apps but it's definitely not perfectSo for the most part this is the main dating app I've been using. It's easy to set up a profile and I would say pretty user friendly. I like all the information you can put into it. The biggest issue I'vs found is that it frequently gives me people who I've already swiped away from. I think I've had to "reject" multipe profiles 5+ times because it recycles the people who I've swiped away. The other issue I've encountered is that people who are out of my age range are allowed to like me. I would say at least 50% of my liked are above the age range that I am looking for. I'm 19 and I frequently get people in their 30's or 40's liking me. I also have the same issue with straight men liking me. This is an LGBT dating app I dont even know why there are straight people on here. I am a trans man and I get a lot of people liking and messaging me that have their profile set to straight and they say they are looking for "women and trans men". I wish there was a way to report people for being a chaser and using an app meant to be a safe space for LGBT people as a way to fetishise us. Awesome App! Totally Recommended!I just want to express my great satisfaction with this app. I’ve been single for quite awhile and have tried several different dating apps. I never really had any luck. Then I would end up seeing tons of ads about Taimi. Honestly I was very skeptical to download it as I thought it was just another hook up app and I wanted something serious. So it took me several months of being haunted by the ads before I actually conceded and downloaded the app. I read several reviews before hand and how people were complaining about the subscription but I guess they did not read the fine print that the automatic renewal needs to be cancelled before the trial ends to avoid getting charged. The app was definitely free to use. It was easy to use and has the same swiping mechanics as the other apps. The only difference is you can tell the people who liked you and also it works like a social media app too with it facebook-like scheme. I am very satisfied with it because I finally able to find someone that I really like, we’ve been dating for more than a month now and recently became official too as we were hitting off really great. Gettin thereI’ve been on taimi since i came out it’s where I met my current partner of a couple years. and i love the software updates although they were a bit long winded at first it still learns well. the secret photo update is pretty awesome the fact y’all loosened up on nudity regulations on a completely adult app makes total sense to me. the deals for first time subscribing is also pretty nifty and even gold at $10 for a month is completely reasonable with all the bonuses. personally however i would love to see an update in the future where you can list that you’re in a relationship (poly, open, experimenting, etc)not only that you’re poly or in the “about me” so that others would not only be aware right of the bat that you’re in a relationship but what type of relationship you’re in with you’re partner(s). another area i’d love to see something similar incorporated into is the ability to see who you’re in a relationship with kinda like ok facebook and with consent from both parties be able to have them (your partner[s])added to your profile. i know in the new *vibes* section you can add that you’re poly or mono or but it’s on the second page of the info..Malli-faeVersion: 5.1.204

On the fenceI redownload this app often. Sometimes it good then it’s changed again. It’s improved a whole lot over the years. I was really happy with it until about a week ago. I can’t add a bio anymore it turned into a text post which is so ugly on the profile. Let alone the fact that I can’t even edit it. It’s also annoying that I can’t rearrange the photos on how they show up on my profile. The only option is the delete it. I don’t have some of the photos I uploaded on there in my gallery anymore. There’s no way to change the photos around. The app also seems to like profiles that I didn’t. I’m glad there’s a like history. I can unlike the ones I didn’t swipe on. I know I didn’t swipe on a lot of those cause I’ve only swiped right a few times. It was good before when you could see there pictures at the top then their bio underneath. Been going downhillIi loved when taimi still had a social media side, which was a great way to share thoughts, feelings, impressions or commect with those who had. There were groups for xommon interests, but now it's a pretty basic subscribe for features app, they even removed the free spins for rainbow likes, rollbacks and the like. They removed being able to add people as friends instead of like them. They're notices encourage you to ask strangers for private cards (photos), that you can see who visited you (requires a subscription and odds are if they liked your profile they woulda left a like) or otherwise their notices may make you feel like you're missing out. I prefer Growlr's team of developers and how they can encourage looking for cuddles or hubbears or otherwise invite you without trying to sell you something. I miss connecting with the *LGBT community* (not just individuals) at large. This app feels more out for money and less about connecting people than it used to be. I downloaded Taimi to meet friends and maaaaaaybe explore the dating world in a way that I'm comfortable and my identity is respected. I met my wife on hereAs the title says, I met my wife on this app. Beforehand I tried all those other apps to try and find somebody. None of them worked out or you had to pay to get anywhere with it. I wanted to find someone whose beliefs aligned with mine and who I knew would accept me right away for how I identify. So I turned to taimi. The app when I used it was laid out great. Easy to match and chat with someone, detailed enough options for preference and bios. The photo layout confused me and the thing adding a post as well but nevertheless I liked it a lot. Granted there are a few creeps and such but that’s with any app. Most people never responded or I didn’t vibe with. I met two other people on here but those didn’t work. Then I met my wife. We clicked so quickly and the app worked great to allow us to chat initially. The rest is history. I still download the app to look at our old chat log and I love having a visual of when we first matched. No screenshots allowedHad the app for a day. App is ok overall. Biggest downside is that I can’t screenshot profiles. I’m not the best of judgement when it comes to dating so I like to screenshot and share profiles to friends so they can help me judge. Can’t do that here due to the app’s “screenshot protect”. Best I can do to share profiles is to send a link which forces my friends to download the app (not something they want to do and I def don’t want to make them either) or to show them my phone in person for them to judge them. I could always take a picture using a different phone but why should I even bother with that if I could just, you know, take a screenshot? Kinda of a rip offFirst off when you pay for there highest package you limited to 100 views a day and if you wanna see more than a 100 then you gotta pay $5 for another 100. Pretty decent overallIt’s a decent app. The only things that I don’t really like is how you have to pay to be able to see everyone who likes you, and the fact that they let you know if someone has visited your profile. Pretty standard dating appEasy to use, but fairly basic with the standard subscription for more features. The thing I hate is that the app seems to not remember your notifications settings… like it lists all sorts of things like new messages new likes and like 15 others that you can choose to be notified about… most of them I feel are useless since they tend to relate to the paid features. Great App!It’s a pretty cool app, very easy and super friendly to use. You can make guys around ur local zone, share picture of ur social media’s and more. HELP GETTING BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT!!I love this app, but I had a notification banner pop up at the top of my screen that someone liked my post, and I hadn’t been on in a few hours but I clicked on the banner to open the app, and it had logged me out for some reason. So I tried logging in using Apple, because that’s how I had signed it and how I created my account... the app glitched and then whenever I would try to log into my account, it was trying to make me create an entirely new account. Which is so frustrating because I had just verified my account and everything and now I can’t get back into it. There is no back button on the account set up pages and I even deleted the app entirely and redownloaded it to try to get back to the main log in page, and it didn’t work.. it was still stuck in the account set up process from before I deleted the app. Which I didn’t know was possible. Matching and messaging1) I don't know if this is a problem with the actual app or if people are just not reading the profiles. But on my account I had my filters set to world wide. I was matching with people who had their filters set to their own state. And they would get fussy when i would tell them that I'm actually thousands of miles. Honest reviewLet me start off with what most people want - a yes or no, a “use the app” or “don’t”. I would say it isn’t worth the effort, and that you shouldn’t. Through the basic/free tier that I have never upgraded throughout using the app, it has gotten me one whole in-person date that was a bust. The rest are a sea of matches that end up collecting dust. The app also has a tendency to lag and heat up my phone, to the point where I can hardly even back out to my homescreen or close the app. This lag is essentially a ticking time bomb that you either constantly reset or torture yourself by restarting after every other profile. As a 19 year old pansexual cis male, I want to meet other people within a few years of me (18 to late 20s) but primarily have to filter through hordes of (age) 30+ men that have liked my profile with the ‘unblur’ paid feature. I’ve had some geriatric creeps also try and hit on me(60+ yrs old and hitting on me, a 19 year old…) There is a ‘stealth’ feature that you can enable to try and prevent this, but it is still unfortunate that you will likely lose potential matches by enabling this. The app is largely disappointing and lacks polish despite begging for money at every interval, whether it’s the limit-action system(blocking is a restricted action!) or to use literally any other feature besides DMs, likelist(which displays primarily blurred folks), IRL Meet n Greets(all seem to be in NYC), and the profile swipes..Unknown Apples2112Version: 5.1.322

A masterclass in how not to build & operate an appTaimi is a must have class in how you don’t build and run an app. The app started off incredible, features not seen anywhere else. Great UI, and a refreshing ability to build community as well as date. And then the greed kicked in, I mean why else would they make some of the most abhorrent UI/UX decisions every seen by far? It feels like they’re own by match— but not even match would do make of the bone head choices Taimi has made. Its thats a shocker. Why continue to take the legs from under your user base with nonsense features,the removal of great features, and more money traps? Interestingly enough the community, at the beginning of launch, would proudly have crowd funded new features. As well keep the app enjoyable and popular. So far so goodI’m enjoying this app so far and I can tell you that I have tried many apps like this and I haven’t been this satisfied. I’m getting more attention than any other app. Although I do wish they were offering a deal for the one month subscription because I’m considering a monthly subscription after my free trial ends. I would really enjoy seeing where we can change our location. Location is very important even knowing where people are that we are looking at. You can like and match all you want but isn’t it important to meet as well? Doesn’t really help if you connect with someone states away. Polished version of GrindrSo I downloaded the app forever ago and forgot I even had it. I’ve been single for some years and wanted to see if maybe I could find a cool person to chat with and see what happens. I’ve matched with some really attractive people and had decent conversations but I started to realize the format of the app is no different than Grindr. Taimi is basically a mixture of tinder and Grindr with the swiping game, and the added options of putting in your sexual position, and interest options such as “leather”, “discreet” and “bdsm”. Oh and you can upload your nakey pics to a private album that people have to request to see, really? There’s enough over sexual stuff within dating apps especially within the LGBT things which Taimi ads of course promise to be the better for LGBT dating in modern dating apps but it’s not really any different. If the private photos and the sexual positions things were removed I think the app would be taken more serious but I know the developers aren’t going to take that into any sort of consideration that they’re really just catering into a sexual market rather than realizing the hardships of modern day dating especially in apps and thinking that maybe it would be nice for people not to be so driven by sexuality, save that for Grindr. Garbage app don’t waste your time or moneyY’all really ran this app off of a cliff and into the ground when you changed up the subscription capabilities of the gold membership from unlimited actions, to 110 actions limit per day, reduced the number of rainbow likes in half, from 10 per week to 5, reduced the number of boosts per week from 3 to 2, and what’s worst of all is the way y’all went about it with complete disregard for those who spent their hard earned money on your app by selling them a subscription package that outlines the different features of the of the Bronze, Silver and Gold packages and then removing the features the user paid for when you updated the above outlined changes that were made to the subscription levels. That is a classic bait and switch scam of your paying users. The app is no longer useful for connecting with other users, and that’s a shame because this app used to be the cream of the crop! I’m afraid that’s no longer the case as the changes stated above have ran off paying customers onto other platforms and I know that because I for one was a paying Customer and now I barely even use the app and honestly will probably just delete it because there’s nothing of any value left on it. I don’t even write reviews but whewI’ve read the other comments and noticed that this was a problem with other people so I decided to say my piece as well. I got banned for no reason. This creepy guy was talking to me and he reported me when I didn’t give him what he wanted. It got me permanently banned. On this app, it’s a matter of who gets to the report button first and is based completely on hearsay. The first time I tried to talk to support about it they said some crap like I got reported multiple times by people. Which doesn’t even make any sense because if they bothered to check my messages and history, they would see that I have regular conversations with people. I came today to see if I was still banned (and I was) so I went to support to try and bring the problem to them again. And this time support said I got banned bc I didn’t verify my account and I was “using someone else’s photos.” First of all, if verifying your account is that important, make it mandatory. Like when you’re setting up your account, make the person verify or they can’t go any further. Just awfulTaimi has been the worst dating app experience by far, and I’ve tried many apps. I used Taimi regularly for over 3 months and was a paid subscriber to Taimi Gold (the highest tier) for most of that time. I have never seen so many low-effort, low-quality profiles in one place. The user interface is decent; I liked how you could send a message with your likes and the other person would be able to see it and respond, creating an instant match, which is offered even on the free tier. Safety and customer service not a priority for this companyI paid to have the subscription so that I could turn of my location to protect myself when I saw a profile of someone who strongly resembles my abusive ex but was using a different name. Account disabled and support taking agesI don’t normally write reviews but oh my God. I mainly got this app at a recommendation from a friend. It was going all right so far, sure there were a couple things I was annoyed with but it was overall fine. Until one time I got on the app and I found out my account was disabled. Garbage under new pay systemI’ve had this app for awhile to find friends. Got lots of matches, but only 1 in 25 or so were actually close enough to me to make it viable to meet in person (regularly got people from other provinces and countries) and were also looking for the same thing as me. Like most apps even the people I did match with we generally stopped talking within a week. Now it is strictly pay to play, so instead of 25 matches to consider I have 2 (because they pay premium to be seen). If I want to even see the profile of the others I have to pay $90.99 for the year, or I can get 3 days free to experience what they already gave me for free before, and then pay $6.49 a week (that’ll be $337.48 a year now). They built a solid app and let people use it for free (there was a premium option still for extra features), but realized they wanted more money so they took the good reviews for a completely different product to keep them for this new one.
