Excellent gameI have been playing this game for some time now & it is both challenging & fun. It has frequently challenged me to ferret out a truth that I had missed when just reading through & overlooking something that I hadn’t noticed before. It causes you to just stop & read the verse. They are continuing to improve the game, making sure it is true to scripture which I greatly appreciate. They have incorporated some of my suggestions which tell me that they are correcting translation errors, improving the English & over all creating an absolutely excellent game. It is obviously a team effort & their team works well together! Good job!! The AI responses now to the chat is a major downgrade. A recent issue is that a question that requires an answer that is actually Blasphemy is not intentional but I can’t get the misunderstanding past the AI response. The question: Who gives us spiritualism? This word means evil spirits, so the answer of God is not a possibility! Blasphemy is attributing the work of the Holy Spirit to Satan. If you read the scripture where Jesus tells the Pharisees that accusing him of doing his work by beelzebub, were in danger of hellfire! Is pretty serious! I won’t do it! Please PLEASE! Very Enjoyable BUT...I like this game a lot, and I spend a lot of time playing it. However, words that are commonly known often go into the extra jar while words I’ve never heard of (and I have a degree in Literature) end up being some of the answers. Also, it’s important to know two things: All verses are in the King James Version (probably because there are no copyright issues with KJV), and words are often accepted in British form, rather than American form (such as centre instead of center). Some words may be acceptable for one round and not acceptable for another. The most annoying thing, though, is that an ad often covers the bottom of the screen when doing one of the multiple choice games so you cannot see the fourth option. Also, you will suddenly have finished all of the levels of the daily side games (that can be accessed via the clipboard on the home screen) without realizing it. I don’t like that at all, as that was my favorite part of the app. I’ll continue to play this game, but it needs an update. Note 1: The correct answer to the question about on which day did Jesus heal the man in Bethesda is not even one of the choices. This event occurred on the Sabbath and can be read about in John 5, but Sunday is not one of the multiple choices given. Note 2: “ETC” is NOT a word! More Bible trivia questions and less ads, pleaseI like the fact that this is a Bible knowledge related game and that it’s free to play. Each level consists of one word puzzle, followed by an ad, then three Bible trivia questions. The questions are fairly easy, so it seems this game is written for younger people, or those without a lot of Bible knowledge. The available multiple choice answers sometimes make the question even more easy to guess, as there is only one answer that even makes sense. There are a lot of non-optional ads you have to watch in order to get through the levels. I understand the game is free, but the ads are very annoying, as very often you have to tap through three or more screens in order to exit the ad completely (30 seconds or more for each ad is too long). I wish there were more Bible trivia questions per level - there are only three. I also wish the questions were more challenging. I enjoy playing the game for about five minutes, but then feel it’s a waste of time. A side note: I’m not a fan of the congratulatory messages that pop up when you get a question right, like “blessings” or “amen,” just not necessary. Inspirational but needs workI love how it says inspirational phrases, or words like faithful or God be with you when you unscramble a word, I would’ve given it five stars, because in the beginning there wasn’t any ad’s, but the longer I played, ad’s started popping up, and considering it’s a Christian app and it’s really fun to begin with, and it helps you learn as you’re going along, I think you should do away with all the ad’s, then you would definitely get five stars and more people downloading your app. I had downloaded Daily Word Worship because it was supposed to be like your app, but it turned out to be nothing like it. All you do is unscramble words, and it gives you points and every time you unscramble a word an ad pops up, it don’t even give you scriptures like it shows in the ad when you’re playing another game. I was playing a different game and the ad popped up and it shows that you can read scriptures and put in the missing Word to a scripture and see if you got it right and it’s nothing like that, when you download the app, so I will be deleting that app. But I almost love your app, except for all the ads. Hopefully, you will do an update to your app because I really don’t wanna have to delete it. It’s a fun app I just don’t want to have to deal with all the ads, my time is too precious. I rather be learning scripture than watching stupid ads. God is a lot more important Than watching people in ads claiming that you can make money playing games like Magic Slots, and Pet Claw when it’s all fake and nothing but a scam, you try to cash out and it makes you watch 150 videos, then spin the wheel 60 times then you try to cash out again and you have to watch another 70 videos then spin the wheel another 80 times it’s ridiculous. It’s OkI really want to like this game and support a game that cares about my faith, but it’s driving me crazy the number of words that I find that it does not accept as words. Ones that aren’t part of the puzzle mind you, but doesn’t even count as “bonus words”. They’re valid words too. I just played a puzzle where “vote” was one of the words, but I tried “voted” and it would not accept it even as a bonus word. And another one was they gave me 6 letters. ROBBER. “Rob” was one of the words, but it would not accept “robber” (like, someone who robs) as an acceptable word. And as of right not, the puzzles are way too easy. I’m only about 110 puzzles in, but I’m hoping they get more challenging with time. I also wish there more more features, possibly something to spend my gold on, because I barely ever use it on hints, it just sits there and is very unsatisfying to receive. The butterflies are an ok touch, but it needs more. I bought the ad-free experience which is nice to support the developers, but I really hope some of this feedback gets taken into consideration, because I do like the game. First time trying a game like thisI very much like the option of being able to skip the ads...I had no idea it was playing amazing grace (because I was playing it on mute) until I read the previous review so I added the extra 5th star. I have never played a game like this..I’ve always stayed away from these sort of games. But because it was a Christian game I thought...perfect! Now I can read versus from the Bible in a fun way. As I started playing..I was a bit confused because the simple words in the beginning were so short and some didn’t make any sense to me, like “an on do..” then I saw that those letters were added to the verse. When I saw the words added, I thought I had to solve the rest of the verse (kind of like “wheel of fortune”...ha and I quickly tried to read it as it was, which was incomplete and then it disappeared to makeup other simple words that were again added to the verse. Amazing GameI absolutely love this game, it truly is incredible and I play it everyday… I love word searches and this just makes it 10x better because it involves Jesus. I truly encourage you to download this game… I didn’t know it had music until I turned my ringer on, the only downfall to this app is there’s so many ads but 99% of them have the early skip button… this app teaches you sm new things and they’re honestly pretty easy questions I mean they’re pretty straight forward, it’s incredibly easy to get the answers right and after each level it gives you a new Bible verse and you can go back and reread your verses. Score is too lowI like this game because I have learned a lot of information about God and his disciples. The only thing that I don’t like is the Ads that automatically shows after you answered all 3 questions and if you don’t watch the following ads it only gives 1 point added to the score. Also there are lots of words that is wrong and not even in the dictionary then if you target the completed word, it will deduct 380 out of your available points. That is too much!!! So far I am watching lots of ads to get more points, I will do this until I reach 40,000 then I will stop watching ads and will keep on targeting the complete words if I thought that it is really hard to find the 6-7 words. Bible WordThis is a fantastic premise for a game. It flows great with music for me. However, the jar... The star jar, for extra words shows up way to late. A few levels of a lacklustre dictionary gets a bit grating in a short amount of time. The trivia is a great balance for that seemingly trivial issue... But for me it added character to the work. Okay the meat and potatoes are the WORDS... 7-3 s, l, o, i, d, were the options my answer idols. No star even? That's not solid? This one caused me to pause the gameplay because idols are spoken of in the Bible on several occasions. I almost want to blow the dust off of mine... I won't beat the Bible with chaps and verses because it isn't that deep... But man does it have the potential to be. I feel like these types of words definitely have a place in the star jar. This game has potential, and my opinion is... the words that are actually in the Bible should be represented and acknowledged even of only with a star. Bit of a disappointmentI love word games, and when I saw this game was bible related, I was elated. It is a fun game and the scriptures are a plus...also the background music. But I’m disappointed in the ability of finding words. So far, no plurals are accepted so the number of bonus words is limited. Also, many valid words that I find say ‘bonus word already found’, which isn’t true, but I may have found that word 10 games before! The spin option after completing a game almost NEVER gives any number other than a zero in the first slot. I’ve also noticed, for example, that if the words to find don’t include any three-letter words in that particular round, you cannot find ANY three-letter bonus words. So I’m sort of frustrated with this game. I play another word game called Wordscapes, which accepts ALL valid words including plurals. I wish this game did the same. My FAVORITE game app of all time!!!🤩😍❤️Some people love numbers… but I LOVE WORDS!!! And this game is so perfect in so many ways! Fun game, until…To lead off with, I don’t typically play a bunch of games on my device, but thought this one might be fun and would be good for exercising my brain, and it was, until words that aren’t actually words—like “dite” and “mae”—showed up as correct words in the puzzle. To make matters worse, you spend points to get help in figuring out which only to find out they make a word that’s not actually a word. I like the concept of the game, but doubt that I will play it very often. I spent the $2.99 to get commercial free, but didn’t get the end result I was hoping for…removal of all the other games previews within it (which, by the way, are not easy to exit out of). Love the Game!!! Wish the ads were lessI love the game and the fact that am able to get my daughter engaged in the word, however, I wish the ads were less. If possible, could there be a paid version with less ads? It could improve user experience even if the user has to bear a bit of that cost. Really started to enjoy it but…PROS: Learning more words also refreshing memory on scriptures, history stories & figuring out what I need to work more on. Best one I have found so far however…I was searching for an app that I can use to quiz myself & learn to memorize the Bible better. So far this is the best one I have come across as far as giving you a trivia style way to test and improve your Bible knowledge however I think the spelling part is so unnecessary! Good game but has issuesUnfortunately these issues have been raised to you before and ignored. I’m tempted to give a lower evaluation because of this. I really like the game and think it has real potential if two things are fixed. First, it’s a Bible game so why stop building Bible verses. This was the big draw. To read the verses while playing a fun game. It makes one think you rushed out levels without taking the time to add the verses. Once the verses stop, the only thing Bible about it are the extra challenges. The words with crosses in them are usually not very Bible related. Words like clean, bread, etc. I do really like the Bible quizzes and word puzzles. They really add to the game. The second problem is the extra words. When you have three letter words and it won’t take words like ten, hoe and low when these words were answers to the game on other levels, it’s extremely frustrating. Some days it makes me want to delete the game. There is no reason for not fixing this after it has been repeatedly brought to you attention. I’d like to hear from the developers what is going on with this problem and not a stock response. I’ve seen your response to others about reporting it to the team and will improve the game soon. Bible ChallengeYou know you read in the Bible that God creates you with a natural urge to know your creator well I can confirm being one who was never raised in the church but myself gradually over the last 15 or 20 years I’ve had this urge or hunger to learn about where we all came from, Darwin’s evolution had to many dead ends the more I looked and read the more I want to know and this Bible challenge makes it fun made it to level 9 before I got one wrong and that’s from Father Michael Schmitz’s “Bible in a Year” which is a catholic Bible in a year program which I’m in my fourth year in a row now it’s a part of life. Great gameI fell in love with this game because I loved the integration of the Bible and scripture to the game. This is literally the only game I know that has it so when I saw it, it was a must download. Extra brownie points for having Amazing Grace playing as background music. I also liked the “4 pics one word” challenges. It was such a wonderful game. It would have been 5 stars, but unfortunately, after around level 20 or so, the game stops giving scripture verses and stops offering challenges. That is very disappointing since that was the main reason I fell in love with the game. Of the game changes to remain constant with everything, I would have shared this game with all my friends. UninstallingInitially I thought this was fun and thought it would be more Bible oriented with the words to be guessed. Multiple levels do not accept common words but the missing words are often words that are either made up or an unidentified language. There has also been a few inappropriate words for a Bible app and an inappropriate ad about making choices where it you have to choose how you would react if you walked in on your spouse in bed with someone else. The most frustrating thing however is attempting to enter a word several times only for it to be repeatedly rejected. When I’ve exhausted all possible options I finally breakdown and use coins to purchase clues until I get it right and li and behold, it was a word I had already tried several times! Love it but...I love this app. It’s beautiful and relaxing, a nice getaway when the pressure of life is mounting(so I play 24/7! No I’m kidding)! Great game, word cookies, but to learn the Bible!Really good app honestly. It’s like word cookies which I actually really enjoyed playing. The game helps you to casually build your vocabulary, as well as train your mind to see more information more quickly and more effectively. But what makes this one do much more special the word cookies is that, it does not compromise the first clear benefit, but it adds a greater substance as you learn the Bible at the same time. Too many ads. Very repetitive. Grammatical errors.There are way too many ads. Literally every 3 questions there is an add. I can’t skip the add so I have to force quit out of the app and let it reload again to play. Also, I’m on level 106 and have been asked the same questions over and over again. Stimulating but aggravatingI like the idea of a relaxing game that may enrich my spiritual life while honing my verbal skills. However I’m not sure if it’s the slow dragging tunes or the unremarkable graphics, but I think the experience may have made the antidepressant advertising more appealing rather than less necessary. I think a redesigned format could give the player a more encouraging affect and could foster more devotion and less melancholy. Nothing heretical or particularly wrong with the game as is, but some changes could tweak the experience and improve the mood of the participants. The verses seemed all too randomly selected. Very Easy Relaxing GameReview Update: As I have continued to play this fame I am finding a LOT of repeat questions on the quiz parts. Maybe in an update the game creator can try to minimize the likelihood of repeat questions. This game seems to be designed for children. If you know your Bible it is very easy. Finding the words is not difficult at all. I play this game when I have anxiety and need to relax. Concern about the types of ads...I love this game because it is clean and a Christian version of games that are “popular”. LackingThe game’s overall idea is good but it asks the same questions over and over in different ways and some of the questions don’t make sense or have the wrong use of the word.
