LOVE IT, but won’t let me play now 😢I LOVE Plank! But recently something happened. I enter the game and the builder character comes up on the column and that’s all that happens. The buttons to play won’t come up. I really REALLY LOVE this game. It’s my favorite game to play. Can you please fix this? It’s been like this for about a week. I was reading other reviews to find if other people were going through the same situation and only one person reviewed that it happened to them. My last resort is deleting the game and downloading it again, but I don’t want to lose all my animals.😿 I thought it was going through an update but it stayed like that for a long time. Developers can you please PLEASE fix it? I LOVE THIS GAME! It’s a really fun game. If you don’t know whether to get it or not( people) you should, it’s a really fun game to play when you are bored. I just hope this does not happen to you. I really hope the developers fix this. I really don’t want to delete this game and all the data on it. Please fix this. Kinda boring..This game is extremely boring to me. For starters there are constant ads so the only way I can play it, is by turning my phone on airplane mode. And there’s not much of a challenge, you just tap and hold to make a long stick and stop when u think it’s the right size to get you to the next platform. You can get characters, and get new places. Also every hundred years (I’m exaggerating) a cage finally shows up on a platform. it you get to the platform u get the animal stuck inside. This never seems to happen to me anymore and when I think about it, i haven’t gotten ANYTHING for so long. I don’t recommend this game, and the only reason this rating is not a one star is because some people could be into this game but I do not like it. But if you think you still like it after my description of the game then i recommend you get it because I simply don’t like it because it’s not my type of game. Almost perfect (almost)Originally I was going to right this review off of the level of ads that existed in the game. Now, that’s all fixed. To be honest, I have to praise you. Now, you only have ads when you choose (when you want helper lines, a bonus character, or you want a bonus life.) I think that is an AMAZING way to control your ads. Players now don’t get ads before and after each level, and fir this point in time of America, that’s pretty amazing. I also have to praise you on the graphics, and the fact this game is very fun. This is a very creative idea for a game and I love it. But, now it’s time to talk about why it’s not five stars. The reason is because the ratio of male to female skins. Almost every time I get a skin, I get a male one, which that is sexist. You have to have more female skins for your female players. If you give us more female skins, I will give you five stars. Good game - but incomplete - and forces ads on usersThis is a very cool addictive game - but : 1. When I buy an ad free version for 2.99, I expect all the ads to go away - and it does not! 2. There are no options to buy lives. When you fall from the plank, it lets you continue once if you watch a 30 seconds ad and the second time you fall game is over! What? Why can’t I buy something to continue playing? Why do I have to watch useless ads? Please provide 3 undos that the user can use for each game. You should also allow the user to buy more undos (or save) 3. There are no boosters - there is something called a helper line that you get if you watch useless ads. 4. What’s the goal of this game? What do I gain if I collect characters? It’s unclear how to collect characters or whatever - no help anywhere. Developers should provide boosters and helpers that users can buy to make the game more interesting. Also, we want to compare our score with other high scores - please show proper game levels and high scores so players have some kind of goal. This game has lot of potential, but as is it’s just very incomplete. Please remove all the ads and allow users to buy helper lines and continue playing. I just recently downloaded this game and I liked it a lot. It is just the right balance between easy and hard because it starts out easy and gets challenging. It’s fun and it’s satisfying to watch the Plank go up and land wherever. Great GameI love this game because while your playing you run into these animals that you gather while you are playing. Also you get new characters while you are playing and there’s a ton that you can collect. One issue I did run into is there is a ton of adds it’s like if you die your going to have to sit through an add. But you can buy a pass that allows you too have no adds but I think it is a little too expensive for a add free pass. You can also have a thing where it measures how long it is for you if your having trouble. Over all I give this game a 5 out of 5 because it keeps you entertained for a long time. Great...ads...not so greatPlank is the most addictive game I’ve probably ever played! I love that you can play in real life! It is easy to understand and challenging. And the screams🤣. DOWLOADThis is now one of my favorite games!!! The concept is really cool and never seen before. It’s super easy and quick to play and requires no internet, and it’s overall super addicting. There are absolutely no ads at all, only unless you died and wanted to try again from the point where you fell. The only “flaw” I see in this game are the characters. The different avatars are really cool, but I would suggest adding more and even adding skins that you can apply to different characters. I would love this game even more if this happened. Love this game but ADSThis game is so fun and I used to play it everyday of last year, when I was in the car, on a plane, anywhere. Now I can’t because you hav ego have internet to play. Not only this but every time you complete a level you get an ad. The ads I’ve been getting are very long and it takes like 10 times for you to press the x for you to actually get out of it. Plank. Addi SWhile plank is a very fun, challenging, and skilled game, it is a bit much. For starters, I put my phone on airplane mode just to play it because there are SO many ads. Also, I don’t understand why there is a finish line because you are trying to beat your high scores and it links all the times finished until you die. Why not just not have a finish line and keep playing? And one more thing, I have about 20 pets for the city mode, and now for some reason I can’t get more pets!( watch me write this review, go back to playing then get more pets!) Awesome, but just a few suggestionsThis game is awesome. My brother saw it in an ad and immediately after we downloaded the game. It is super fun and the screams of the people when they fall is super funny. Ad-dictiveThe game itself is fun to play. Eyeball estimation and hand eye coordination at its best. That said, there are way to many ads for the amount of time spent playing. I'd guess it's 70% ads to 30% game play in regards to time on this app. I realize you gotta make your money and all that but to have to watch an ad after every turn, even if you pass the level without falling, is a bit excessive to me. Fun game, to many ads!The game itself is fun. I enjoy playing it. However, there are so many ads. There are ads between games, different levels as well as ads that constantly play at the bottom of the screen. The ads at the bottom make noise and sing and you are stuck turning the sound off! Hard but funOk to be honest I’ve only played this game for like 5 minutes but I can tell I won’t be deleting it anytime soon. Wow. Just wow.I’m just going to start off by saying that I never write reviews and never this early but I decided to this time because this game is just awesome. PlankThis is a nice game. The premise is to use the planks that the builder character has to get the the other towers. Sometimes on top of these towers you will get gifts and be able to rescue animals. The game is a little frustrating at first, but as your journey continues you get better and better at it. I have had this app for about twenty minutes and I have only had a few issues. A Great Game But...It is a lovely game and I don’t really know if it’s just my phone or whatever but I just wanted to share my experience. Beware the Zillow ad!!I started playing because a kid I was watching wanted to play. After, I played on my own and it was pretty fun! At one point the ads were out of control but I’ve noticed they have been better. So that’s why it’s 2 stars instead of one. I am rating low because I was on a roll, I was almost at 6,000 points without losing!! I finished a level and then an ad for Zillow came on and wouldn’t close!! I hit the “X” button over and over and nothing happened!! I could click on the ad and it would take me to the App Store but then I would go back into the game and I still couldn’t close the ad!!! I had to hard close the game then open back up and when I hit play I was still at 5,800 something. I over shot my second or third plank and I wasn’t thinking anything of it because I hadn’t used a save me ad yet but it told me I lost and my count reset when I hit play again!!! All of my hard work and all of those ads I watched to get me that far all for nothing because of a stupid glitch in an ad that affected my game!! Don’t pay for no ads! This game cheats you!!I earned a lot of points so had worked my way up to having a slew of animals, and had gotten ALL the characters (there should be more female ones- why are most of them male?? It’s ridiculous!), but I decided to delete the game and then reinstalled it and paid for the game with no ads, because it was so distracting to have to wait for the dumb ads to play (always the same two ads, too!) before I could continue. But the ads still play!!! Sometimes the cancellation x’s appear a little sooner than before, but sometimes not. It’s a cheat. Don’t pay for that. The game itself is simple but sort of fun and the characters are cute, although as I said, there should be 50/50 male to female characters. But I don’t recommend being cheated by the company. Free version worthlessI’ve downloaded and played a good many games and I must say that Plank is chock full of Ads being forced down your throat on a level I’ve not seen any other game even come close to. This kind of game takes a good bit of trial and error out of the gate to get the swing of and so games might only last 10 or 20 seconds at first and where other games with a similar learning curve might give you an Ad after every second or third game (often even less) Plank shoves a nice long one down your throat after each. IMO this makes the free version basically worthless. Money ployThese games by this company (Kawylee?) are all the same. Literally just fun enough to be a nice time-waster but it’s completely ruined by ads popping up every 20 seconds - and that isn’t me exaggerating, if anything I’m underselling how bad it is. So in order to get your simple time waster you have to pay $1.99-$3.99. And that’s just to turn off “non-optional ads” and doesn’t guarantee all ads will be removed. And these games simply are not worth $2-$4. Most of them are reestylized clones for other games that can be played for free or without incredibly intrusive ads. “Levels” Update should be optionalI have been playing this game for a pretty long time, and there’s not really too much I can say about it. It’s really fun, works well, and the ads are too excessive. I am however very disappointed by the recent update. Instead of being able to play on and on until you fall, you are now put on levels, which usually end after just a few planks. You do get an ad every single time you finish a level. I understand that it is probably just a way for them to get more money from ads, but a big part of enjoying the game was the fact that it was a constant flow. Plank not workingI have had this game for 2 days. The first day I loved It!played it all day. But I can’t I have tried everything to get the game to work. I have turned my phone on and off and even closed out of the game many times. You can’t really like a game when it’s not working. Good concept, but ads are ridiculousThe concept of estimating the length of plank you need to cross the gap is good and challenging. However, there are way too many ads, (both optional and not) and you can get just about any score you want if you have the patience to watch ads for retries and items that take the skill out of the game. Terrible "cashcow".The only reason I downloaded the game, was because it seemed challenging and fun (and that appstore recommended it). Turns out that the gameplay was laggy af, (it was somewhat fun for the few seconds it gave though), and the ads that are not only below, and the pop up ad that appears when you win/lose a level is extremely distracting and infuriating. Do not like the new changesI was playing this game for hours some days.. It was what helped get me through some really long work days.
