Awesome game 👏Wood Nuts and Bolts puzzle is a great 😊 game. It’s hard, challenging 🤔 and fun. 🤩 The ads are not crazy, and the game itself is a great time ⏰ killer. The levels increase as you go up, 🆙 and once you solve the easier levels, you progress to harder ones. But, if the levels does seem too challenging, there is a menu to pick from. You can remove a bolt or smash 💥 the puzzle with a 🔨 . This game is very fair and it’s all about strategy. If you like games that are hard and challenging and will definitely make you think, 💭 this is a great 👍 option. The ads are only after you finish a level, and the timer for each level ⏲️ gives you a fair amount of time to complete each puzzle. Started off FunSo, like everyone else, this was an ad for another game and I was intrigued. I downloaded the game and started playing. Each “level” is actually two levels. The first is a fairly easy one and the second one is “hard”. You typically have 3 min to beat the hard level and if you need a booster (replay the level without doing the easier first part again, remove a screw, undo a move, or hammer) you have to watch an ad that is typically at least a minute long and thus far has been the repeatedly an ad for the Royal Match game. You have to watch an ad in between levels as well. Well I paid the $4.99 to remove the ads and you still watch over 5 min of ads EACH LEVEL if you need a booster (and you WILL). It’s very annoying. For instance, they typically give you 2 “free spaces” and to get the third free space you have to watch an ad. AND if for whatever reason you leave the game or the game glitches and restarts it does NOT save your progress for that level and you have to start over. The game in-game purchases which I think are pretty high priced. And there is an in game “challenge” that has a free side and a master pass side which gives you coins (if you need to add 60 seconds to your level) and that’s $9.99! I initially really liked this game but it has become a game that is basically you spending 5 min at least per level just watching the same Royal Match ad over and over again (oh and solitaire cash). It would be better to be able to play the game without dumb ads for every booster or earn boosters with each level! Too many long adsThe game itself is fun…even the super challenging levels that take you multiple tries. The problem is with the ads. Several are 90 second ads and there are more that are multipart ads where the first part is 30-60 seconds, then you close it out Nd a second part opens up and plays for another 15-30 seconds, and then another time you have to x out. It’s just way too many clicks and too much time. Ads should max out at 30 seconds. Any longer than that is a waste and an annoyance that ensured I will never buy or download what is being advertised. Additionally there are a few ads that glitch out and freeze, so you’ve agreed to watch an ad to earn extra time or a game assist and after watching the ad you can’t close the ad without closing the app, which, you guessed it, means starting the level over. No bueno. Anyway, today I got on to play and the puzzle level comes up with a blank background and the timer running. No bolts, no boards…nothing to do. Timer runs out and I try again…same thing. On the fence - like the game, DESPISE the timerI got hooked playing the advertisement for this game, but didn’t download it right away. I was hesitant because of the reviews. After several weeks I decided I’d give it a go for myself and downloaded the game. I deleted it once and thought I was too hasty and brought it back out of the cloud. I really like the concept and you have to think about the moves. What I don’t like is that you can get a good feel for playing the real game before you’re faced with big, difficult puzzles by level 4! I can see gradually adding 10-20 pieces but to go from 5-6 to 20-30 plus having a timer that doesn’t give you enough time to scratch adds frustration. Remove the timer and I’d be really happy. You can still run out of moves and have to start over, but why time a puzzle???? Puzzles are supposed to be time consuming and methodical, not rushed and timed and required multiple times with ultra lengthy ads in between….. PLEASE REMOVE THE TIMER and let us enjoy solving the puzzles and running out of moves on our own. Could’ve been an amazing game.Long version: At first it was really awesome. The levels were nice. End goal in sight. Mind you I only made it to level 40. I just can’t play anymore the physics change all the time you never know if it’s going to fall the way you planned it to. You can’t plan ahead at all. Which is kinda the point of the game. Also I paid the fee for no ads cause I liked the game and I get it ads are how you make the money to keep the game running but wow that’s a lot of ads. Fun part is the further I got into the game the more I NEEDED power ups extra spaces or I’d be stuck on the level for hours. I tried to pass a level without using any cheats. I was stuck on the level for almost 2 hours total. Why? Why make it impossible to with without power ups/cheats. Also the mini level at the beginning of each level is super super easy then the last part is so difficult and it doesn’t just ease you in it throws you in. Good Hame Ruined By GreedThis game is actually fun and challenging and the country leaderboard thing is cool..but people have been complaining about ads since at least February. All the empty apologies mean nothing until action is put into place—it’s the end of July and the ads are just as ridiculous. And $10 for vip rewards for such a simple game?! It’s one thing if you guys want support as a small team or independent developer but you’re massively overvaluing what you made. A good vip package should be cheaper and add exclusive puzzles with other elements like marbles and keys, like one of the in-between levels had. 5-8 dollars to remove ads is such unrealistic pricing too. People have no problem supporting small creators but when you have ads (and long ones at that) plastered everywhere and absurd prices it’s clear you made a cash grab. You’d actually make more money by just..improving the game and listening to feedback. Repeating LevelsI don’t think I’ve ever actually written a review on the App Store. By no means am I fuming, but it does make me upset that around level 8 or 9, the levels are the exact same. This is not an exaggeration. The level numbers go up, but the actual wood slates and screws are in the same position. I went all the way to level twelve to see if it would change but it never did. It was really fun up until then though. It was a bit challenging which I appreciated. I will add that there are options to change the colour of the wood slates and background, but there is no indication of how to unlock those. I can assume you unlock them by levelling up, as at least the costumes for the screws have an explanation on how to unlock them. It also doesn’t really elaborate on how tournaments work either. Over all, a bit disappointing, but it didn’t ruin my day, so props for that, I guess. TLDR: Around level 8 or 9, the levels repeat. ADS ADS ADSDude….. This game is fun, almost addictive if you’re a puzzle fiend like me. I also love the fact that motion and “physics” play into the solving of the puzzles. I could play all day. I could…..HOWEVER, you have to watch entirely TOO MANY ADS. It’s ridiculous. In order to replay a level if you fail (which you will, multiple times) you have to watch an ad. In the three days since I started playing this game, I’ve probably lost a year off my lifespan to watching these ads. If i see another crappy ad for Royal Match, I think my head will explode. I get that they want to get players to spend real money to avoid the ad-watching, but let’s get real. People aren’t spending their money on a phone game when eggs cost $9,000 at the grocery store and whatnot. So enough. Game Keeps FreezingThe game is overall good. The levels are challenging and i managed to get to level 20 without getting stuck. However, there is one major issue preventing me from playing the game. The game keeps freezing and not loading all the way when I open the app. After the loading screen goes away, there should be the menu opening up but for some reason, it doesn’t show, the music suddenly stops and my game center pop up cannot be swiped away. I don’t know what to do about it. I swipe the app, turn on and off my wifi, and I even shut down my phone to see if the menu pops up but still the same freeze. This all happened after I exited the game while an ad played and went into a different app to do something. I don’t want to delete the app because I don’t want to redo all the previous levels already so what I ask is for the developers of this game to fix this issue..Someone with an iPhone.Version: 4.9.1

The extremely long ads and animal cruelty 🤦🏽‍♀️I have enjoyed this game a great deal except for two things number one: the ads go on from 28 seconds t60 seconds long and then it some times hard to close the ad out after you are notified the award has been granted . That can take up another 5 or 10 seconds secondly : the special level with the traped animals there are at least 30 screws and you are only allowed 18 moves. I get that you want to make money so if I want to continue I have to purchase screws. If the player decides not to purchase extra screws the little puppies and bunnies fall into fire and burn up(seems extremely cruel). ATTENTION!!!I NEVER write reviews. but i love the game and i have seen MANY reviews about this game, mostly bad. the main issue here seems to be about the about of ads when attempting to retry the level. Too many glitches in the game!!He really need to scrap this game and start over. It is challenging and could be fun if everything worked properly. When I tried to bind my account, the keyboard keeps freezing and what I type is not used. I tried to type my email and it doesn’t even use all the letters. Honest reviewI am only giving 5 stars so it will be seen. Fun puzzle, but too many negatives for meI like the basic idea and mechanics of this puzzle game. However, there are two things that are leading me to uninstall it and look for a different one of its kind. First, I dislike the time limit. I say prefer puzzles that don't have a time limit both because I don't like the pressure of a time limit and also because sometimes life interrupts (like I get a phone call or something) and then I lose the game. Second, while I generally don't mind ads as a necessary evil to support games that are free to play, the ads in this game are WAY too long...a 90-second ad just is not reasonable. Fun game, poor customer serviceI’ve been thoroughly enjoying this game, in spite of the ads, which are frequent, for many many weeks. They are challenging and I enjoy the contests. Like the game but ads out the wazoo and now opening internet without promptingI like the game. Various higher levels are harder and do need to use a few boosters (watch an ad for 1 booster or replay) no problem. Free game, I will watch a few ads, use a booster I’ll watch an ad for the help. If you love watching ads, this game is for youI would love this game so much more without the time factor. I don’t really care they have an easy level and then a hard one and then just rinse and repeat. I love sitting forever to figure it out. But forcing me to watch a single ad that’s 80 seconds long with no exiting it just to undo a single move… yeah, that’s annoying. Another undo, 30 second ad. That’s fine. And then another 80 seconds. Need another undo? 30 seconds. I think I’m on the fourth or fifth hard level and even now, they basically want you to spend money and they don’t hide it. And all of this is for a single hard level that’s maybe 3:30 minutes long. Why am I spending more time watching ads than I am playing the game? If this is all at level 5, why would I even bother continuing to play? If this was like level 60, I could hear you out on that. This is level 5. If you took away the timed part of levels, I’d be a lot less annoyed. That or installing a “zen mode” where you just play over and over and over while not trying to beat a clock or get a better score. I’m not keeping this because it’s incredibly depressing that even ads on streaming platforms are shorter than the ones in a single game where you undo a move three or four times. One of the most ad filled games I’ve ever playedOn the surface, this seems like a fun puzzle game. But if you play it for any length of time, you start to realize the author of this game has only one goal in mind - to make you watch as many ads as possible, for as long as possible. This is the only game I’ve ever played where you will run into 90 second ads. So, I paid my $4.99 to remove ads. So, it does remove some ads, basically the ones that pop up on their own. But if you want to get anywhere in this game at all, you will eventually have to watch ads. If you want to undo a move, watch an ad. If you want to use a booster, watch an ad. While the puzzles are fun and challenging, nearly all of the levels after a certain point are virtually impossible to complete without a booster and by watching one or more ads. If you do want to take your time and try to finish a level without a booster, you’ll end up running out of time. Why would anyway make a time limit on a puzzle game? If you want to extend your time and keep playing and not loose your progress, watch some more ads. This is one greedy developer. I feel really let down that the developer of this game has chosen alienate everyone by forcing them to watch ads, even if you pay money to not watch ads. For me, this was a huge waste of money. Crashes outI do genuinely enjoy this game it’s not extremely easy like other puzzle games and not even puzzle games like this just other games in general but I do like that it’s hard maybe a little too hard but fun, probably can be harder as you play but still fun. You ruined the game for meI’ve played this game for countless hours—accruing a ton of coins, and watching a gazillion ads. Fine. Game was fun and I had so many coins I could usually use them to get an extra hole. Suddenly, the coins are gone, replaced by screws that don’t seem to do anything. You now have to use tickets to purchase an extra hole. However, there’s no way to get tickets except by actually purchasing them. I play games like this to keep my brain active as I age. I don’t know if people who are still working are all right with spending their hard earned cash to purchase things on a game (given the economy where even people working more than one job each can’t afford both groceries and mortgages and gasoline), but people who’ve retired and are on a fixed income darn sure can’t . Plus we’re usually too frugal to use our money that way even if we could afford to. We didn’t get the money we have by wasteful spending. I am just not that enchanted with rainbow screws and pink and lilac backgrounds as I am in using strategy and logic without being ripped off. I literally have had up to 80K coins. Too many ads not enough rewardsOk I don’t mind watching an ad or two but this is an insane amount. You only get rewards after like 15 levels and what you get is a ridiculously low reward for the amount of time and the endless ads you must watch. I might even be willing to pay to get rid of the ads IF the rewards you received were commensurate with the effort it took to obtain them but it’s not. After 15 or 20 levels you get 1 or 2 of one of the boosters almost always an undo and if you watch an ad (of course) you can double it so 20 levels and you get 2 undos? And the ads are 1 1/2-2 minutes long and you can’t even mute them. And usually they are for the exact same scammer games touting you can make hundreds of dollars for playing (dubbed game name). It’s beyond annoying. The Most Infuriating Game, Don’t Even Download ThisFirst off, each levels has a timer. That’s fine and all but the time is so short that you’re furiously clicking on all the screws to try and get rid of all the woods as that makes your critical thinking skills go into overdrive. So, you’re stuck racing against a clock that the fun get flush down the drain causing stress. Not only that, but there are certain blocks that you have to wait on because they’re slowly rolling off the screws and you can’t make it move any faster because the only open slots are the ones being blocked by the same block you’re trying to move. Secondly, if you mess up, you can’t fix it because the undo and all the other things that’s supposed to help players cost real money. I didn’t get a single power-up thing to help me through any of the levels. The third thing is if you did mess up on the hard levels which is a lot of times, you have to repeat the easy level just to do the hard level. Timer 👺I would really enjoy this game and give it a much better rating… but… being in my 60’s and wanting to just wind down and enjoy myself while solving puzzles! I do hate that they always stick these timers on so many games with no option to just turn the darn thing off I choose. App ruins its own gameThe game itself is fun but the way the app is designed completely ruins the experience. There are no free undos. You can earn tickets to use instead of buying them but they aren’t too easy to get. This would be somewhat fine if retrying a level weren’t so tedious. First of all, there are way too many ads, especially for a game without an accessible undo option. Every time you make a wrong move, you need to start completely over and watch an ad between plays. The second part makes it even worse: some levels have multiple parts, and starting over means redoing the first part as well, sometimes over and over again. If you like this style of game, I recommend finding a competitor. Too many ads. What’s different?Just like many other mobile games, this game is plague by thousands and thousands of ads that are getting longer and longer and or unskippable. After almost every round you have to watch an ad, which I am kind of used after playing several other games, but the thing is these ads most of the time are 90 second unskippable ads and then for hard levels, it’s almost like you need a power up(like undo or remove screw) to complete it and the only way to get these power ups is through watching the very long unskippable ads as mentioned before. Although you could also use tickets to get power ups, they are very very rare to get so almost all of the time you have to resort to watching ads. In addition to this, the 5-star reviews which are boosting the games rating almost all look to be written by the same person which I assume is the creator or someone supporting the creator and say the complete opposite of what I and several other people with 2 and 3 star reviews have been saying. Make one mistake and you have to watchHonestly, this puzzle game is genuinely fun and engaging, but if you make two mistakes you can’t go farther, you’re stuck. That’s fine, part of the challenge. Great puzzle game, bad appI really enjoy playing this game. It exercises my mind and I love that. But there’s a few too many issues that I can’t stand which makes me want to delete the app. Firstly, the ads. I don’t mind watching a 30 second video every now and then. Don’t waste your timeThis is a great app for watching ads. The only problem with the app is that about every 10 minutes or so, you are interrupted from watching the ads to play a so, so game. But, after 2 to 3 minutes, you are right back to your ads. If you want, you can just let the timers run down on the game while you grab a drink or go to the bathroom. I played this so you don’t have toThis game was surprisingly hard for one of those “seen in ads” puzzle games. Most of the stay ridiculously easy but this one ramped up pretty quickly which was a pleasant surprise. However, this game does have some cons: 1) all the levels in this game are timed, usually under 3 minutes, giving you almost no time to think about your moves or plan ahead. 2) That wouldn’t be so bad except each level is actually 2 mini levels lumped together, a really easy level and a really hard level. If you get stuck and need to start over (either by running out of space or, more likely, time), you get sent back to the easy level, which can really mess with your thought process while trying to figure out the puzzles. 3) The ads. I won’t go into too much detail since most people have covered it, except to say that this developer has no problem throwing unskippable 90 second ads at you. There is also a high chance you will get back to back ads, one after starting a new level, restarting it, then finally finishing it. All for one level. Sometimes, you also get an ad in between the easy and hard part of a single level. I get that the app developer needs to make money, but this means the gameplay gets interrupted so often, I am watching more ads than actually playing the game. Freezes several time each levelI got sucked in by the ad while playing another game. I’d give it a 5 star because it’s a fun, challenging little game. However, it freezes multiple times per level. It gives you the option to use a booster to undo a move, remove a stuck board or remove a screw. In order to use the booster you have to use either a magic ticket or a silver ticket or watch a 30-60 sec video. The magic tickets and silver tickets require a credit card to purchase or randomly winning a ticket. Watching Ads a Full Time JobI bought the no ads feature after 3 levels because I thought I would like this game, but #1, almost any time you click on the game they are trying to get you to buy coins so did I really get rid of ads? I only really do puzzle-type games on my phone like this and it’s engaging, challenging and simple without too much flashing lights and moving parts.
