Extremely AddictiveI not the type of person who usually takes my time to write a review, but I’ve been so in love with this app that I thought it would be worth it to share my experience. At first I was skeptical about downloading the app because there are so many interactive stories out there now and I’ve downloaded almost all of them, so I can honestly say that this app has by far been my utmost favorite! Other apps make you wait a certain amount of time until you have more “tickets” to read, so when I saw they have a star tree that lets you gather more quickly and that they give you access to one story per day, to read for up to 4 days for free, I almost had a heart attack! I hate waiting in anticipation to gather up enough tickets (or in this apps case, Stars) in order to continue the story line, so this app has been like a dream for me! As long as I get access to one story a day and then use my stars for another I’m all set! Of course everyone loves animations, but I am content with the little breathing animations they give the characters that make them breath off the page. Anything more than that and I feel like I’d rather just watch an anime at that point. Good stories bad with giving gems!Wish the app makers would consider their readers value more seriously!!! The choices that cost gems for one are extremely high costing and not to mention within one single chapter the amount of times they want you to make that costly choice is ridiculous then on top of it clothing and hair that’s very high priced ...30 gems??? That’s straight ridiculous. The free choice of clothing is always something stupid like baggy sweats or overalls or baggy dirty clothing but yet in the story they will claim it’s a dress it’s stupid if the story says a dress then make the clothing fit the description and that stuff should be free seeing how it’s wrote about! The visual should match the description or else what’s the dang point?? We want attractive characters and to see what the story is saying so it makes sense!! Not to mention we barely get any videos an with it one single gem when everything is always like 17-30 gems!!! To even purchase gems you would need more than $100 to be able to choose the choices you want per chapter! Now that’s ridiculous and highway robbery these people only seem to care about taking money from people I swear then they don’t have many decent ways for you to earn things they also need to speed up the stars tree cause that’s also ridiculous! Great gameThis game is really good. The animation is awesome and the characters look so realistic. It’s great that they allow you to choose race but the one downside is you can’t choose your gender. I think it would be a pretty easy fix to just allow the player to pick a gender, it wouldn’t change that much of the story. Still it’s a really good game with great stories. The problem of course with these kinds of games is that gems are really hard to collect and if you use them on a choice they’re totally depleted because choices that cost gems are really high. I understand that the game needs to make money but it’s be nice if the options don’t cost quite so many gems or if only special outfits and extra scenes cost gems. When I really want a choice that costs gems but have too few I usually just leave the game because I get frustrated. I’d definitely play more if gems weren’t so much of a problem. The last thing I’ll say is I really wish there were more lgbt stories. The stories are all really great and there’s so many to choose from but it is really disappointing not to be able to play a story that represents you. I hope they will add more lgbt stories because it’s definitely lacking. All that aside it’s a great game, it’s so fun to read a story but also be able to make your own little choices here and there. Uuuuuugh!Soooo, I thought I downloaded my favorite “Choose your story” app, but found out I didn’t, only after I spent way too much so that I wouldn’t have to worry about buying anything for a while… as I normally do. Years ago, I came to the realization that this is most likely an Asian app. That means: it’s not inclusive. Almost everyone is ghostly white, and they show how they are obsessed with, and cater to yt ppl. It’s weird, but it’s definitely something everyone knows about. After months of being on here and us black ppl complaining, I deleted it. FF to my current situation (I already spent the money), then I saw they added one book about a black man… and he was a grapist… go figure😒 I did see that they added a few Asian stories, which is beautiful because, representation matters!🥹 I did end up finding the app I wanted, but now I don’t know how to give away what I bought. Good but could have been Great ifI would give 5 stars if Moments give better options for free Diamonds. Yours stories are one of the best. However you charge soooo much diamonds for every little interactions ie. to say a nice hello 17 diamonds to be rude free then after the nice hello you are accused or attacked by some random !! To defend yourself 17 diamonds but to get bullied free all this during one little introduction. And this is how all the stories are. Moments only give total 5 diamonds free for watch 5 video’s but you get them one at a time every 5 minute and that sometimes does not work. Moment also gives 1 diamond per chapter read if your lucky you get 1 extra diamond for the first 5 chapters and after that back to one for the remainder of the 24 hours. at the end of the book you get no extra diamonds. Great storiesGameplay is a bit confusing to figure out at first but the stories are great. I’m thankful to the player called Vampire❤️Lover because she has answered my questions as well as posting tips for understanding. She should also get rewarded for using her ideas. I have had an issue of purchasing. on the partner page with the beach there was a circle with a $. I opened it and it said ‘12 diamonds .99’. So I purchased it. But I received nothing. What’s that about? Also, I love that you can play for quite awhile without requiring too many diamonds but when you do need diamonds that are quite difficult to refill. And on the ones where you watch ads for them, waiting 5 mins between is a lot. I’m stuck currently until I get 20 diamonds for an outfit. I LOATHE paying diamonds for outfits. Especially so many! They should be 10 at most if you feel the need to charge for them. I just hate having to wait so long to continue a story. You currently have a reward for 3-5 chapters in a day but honest;y? That’s not even possible unless you spend a LOT of real world money to buy diamonds. As I stated in the beginning, the stories are great. So I will try to be patient. Good, but needs Improvements, Highly Expensive!So, the graphics aren’t great. The app is extremely expensive. 10 stars per chapter...really! Not very informative. Can’t really understand the star tree or the avatar cards. But, there are a lot of different types of stories. The stories are told well. The diamond choices are again too many and way to expensive. But, I gave the app a high rating for the stories and it’s addictive quality. I’ve played the same book twice just to get the different versions. However, I hated that I had to use stars again for a book I had already read. Once you complete a book, it should be added to your library for free future play. So, if you upgrade your graphics, explain bonus star, avatar, card & diamond features better, lower diamond expense and fewer diamond choices, give members the book to replay free of stars after completing...I think I’ll be able to give you that last star rating! But, I give you credit for having a good variety of books and for having clear writing. For true interactive role play gamers this site is addictive. But not to the point of bankruptcy. Love the stories & art, but way too expensiveSo far I have read “Lust Under the Moon”. I loved the story, animation and sex scenes. They are great. However, the cost of playing this game/reading the story is ridiculously expensive if you want to actually make any fun choices. I basically ended up spending around $45 to only select about 2/3 of the options. I think that the choices should cost a fraction of gems OR the actual real money spent on the gems should be significantly less. There are very few ways to get free gems. You get 1 by watching ads but you are limited to about 5 ads per day. And one simple interaction (like choosing to kiss one of the stories characters costs 10 gems). At this point I don’t even know if I can re-read the stories/choices I already paid for. If I am unable to without paying again I will be very annoyed. As much as I want to read more of these stories I’m simply not going to pay $40+ to do so. I can buy a romance book for $5 with pages and pages of better content. Mostly all the sameGood, but PLEASE get some more variety. I’m tired of all these mostly horribly written erotica’s that are rushed, i’m tired of white MCs being the default (this includes blonde or medium brown straight/barely wavy hair as being the only option in some of your stories, non white MCs that still have white features, but they’re just colored brown, etc.), i’m tired of mostly white LIs, i’m tired of mostly skinny MCs, oh! And I’m tired of these diamond hungry books! I understand y’all gotta make yalls money, but HOT D**** with some of these books. BUT, this app also has some great gems and have had memorable books and some great writers and artists! (which is why I haven’t rated it lower than 3) I hope in the future that y’all make more inclusive books and add more to the LGBT+ section, have more non white MCs that are easy on the eyes (meaning that they have features that are applicable to that race without being caricatural), have more nonwhite LIs, female LIs (mcs that are strictly lesbian), more male MCs, even GNC MCs/LIs. Glitch? Nonetheless I’m disappointedThe other day I wrote a great long review on this app/game. I gave the reasons I loved the app and then rated it on different scales ect so I won’t go into detail on that again. However, I wasn’t sure where I could write this small complaint so here I am again. There is a slot machine game within the app and when you play the slots you pay 10 diamonds each time in hopes of winning large amounts of diamonds or various others wins. As for me I played this many times and have spent tons and tons of diamonds trying to win characters, diamonds ect. Anyway 3 times now I’ve played the slots and won 100 diamonds each. I was unber excited however my winnings never showed or came to me in my diamond bank. This is very disappointing due to the fact I love the game and I love the slot machine concept. Though I’m sure you can imagine how frustrating this is to spend real money on diamonds, play the game win and not get your winnings. That’s 300 diamonds Worth that I’ve lost out on. Among the many dollars I’ve spent on this game buying diamonds to play with. Not to mention the hours of playing and getting daily wins ect. Great animation, but...I have played other games that have the same premise of following a story and allowing the user to make choices that affect the narrative. Moments has the best graphics for sure. I can tell the development team has put a lot of effort into that. That aside, I have noticed that nearly every story I have tried is littered with spelling errors, typos, and odd word choices. It does take me out of the moment as I wonder whether the app developers hired an editor to read through the stories before posting them. This lack of quality also seems to emphasize the low bar in the character development department. My biggest concern, however, is that most of the stories only allow me to play as a female main character. I know this game is marketed toward women, but it would be nice to have a better selection. Of the three stories I found with a male main character, only one has caught my interest despite its lack of editing. I love it Moments, butI love Interactive games. Episode is still my favorite because they do almost everything a human , like run, hugs each other, dance, eat list goes on.. I wish Episode has an Adult section. I love Moments because it’s for Adults but it’s lacking everything else I just mentioned about Episode. If all I mentioned was on Moments, this app would have been my favorite. I really hoped they can upgrade the characters interactions with each other and shows more characters walking around doing things instead of sliding one by one. Are you there devs? It’s us the readers!I have been a long time reader and vip for this game ever since it started. I have loved the in depth stories and well written material. I took a break from it awhile and have since gotten back into reading it to see what new developments have come about. However sadly it hasn’t been updated for two years! I also feel as vip they are stingy or have stopped pushing more perks and bonuses for vip and long time members. It seems like they have forgotten about us and I am wondering why? Really Great StoriesWhat I enjoy about this app is not only the stories but the opportunity to earn more diamonds, avatars, and personalization tools. Usually there are events; haven’t been very many. I wish there were more. I like the interactive options in this app. I have noticed a slow down in events and opportunities to earn diamonds or other rewards. I love VIP. The reasons I don’t give 5 stars is because I feel that with VIP daily diamonds or more opportunities to gain purchases for “free”(Purchased through VIP) story options. For example, the cheaper cost of a deluxe item is free every 3rd or 4th deluxe purchase throughout the story. I have also continue to be baffled on how to upgrade my tree. Best everNormally I don’t like reading books but when I came across this game is the best ever. The music is breath taking. I sleep late and am always reading at work. But am so sad cause I lost my phone and have gone far with Detroit underworld 1. I got a new phone and am trying to continue from where I stopped on my phone but I can’t cause am almost done with 1. Loving updatesBeen playing for a while and continue to be happy with every update and the opportunities it gives us the users. One suggestion.... if we could turn stars into stardust. Beautifully written and illustrated but fix your diamond ads!Great illustration and stories. I like how fast the come out with new exciting stories. The illustrations appeal to a young adult (20-30s) audience, and you can tell they put a lot of effort into the details. Don’t be fooled by the trailer which makes this seem like a tween choices game. The stories are thoughtful, detailed and woven beautifully by professional writers and based on real books. The only qualm I have is that they’ve programmed this game where watching ads are pointless because you can’t press the x button on them to receive your earned diamond. I love it but could use some improvementsI love Moments. The only thing that I would like to see that I’ve seen in other apps like this is ways to earn free diamonds. In other apps, they give you one after every chapter completed and 10 after finishing a book. Also when we want to re-read another story, you shouldn’t have to use more stars to read a story you already completed once. Chapters gives you more ways to earn diamonds beyond just after each chapter and each completed book. Fun to a point!!I would love to give this game a 5 star, but since it’s impossible to get ahold of support through the the game with questions mind you all it says is ( no available agents are online) so I’ll do it this way. I really enjoy playing the game and love the stories. BUT…. When it comes to the quest to watch ads for diamonds or even on the main page that lets you watch ads for diamonds. It won’t let me. Audible?I love this app! I get so engulfed in it at work which makes me feel like some of these apps should add an audible option so I can have my AirPod in at work listen to it and then when it’s time to make a choice just pick one and keep it reading aloud. I hate having to constantly pause when I’m reading to do something. I’ve tried normal audible books and reading regularly books and just can’t get into them like I can with moments books. A few things need a tweak up! I LOVE THE APPI am so addicted to the app and I love that you don’t really have to wait that long for stars (tickets) to read!!! I do wish though that we could have a way to customize our love interest like we can with the main characters. & I have always been experiencing a problem when I try to watch ads for diamonds so I can make premium choices and outfits, and upon finishing the ad it won’t allow me to exit off so I can go back and collect the reward. Crashing & Not getting what I purchasedThe stories are great but for some reason with the update. My app keeps crashing literally every couple seconds. Also I purchased the golden four leaf clover upgrade and never received it. So I just ask for refund instead after waiting 5 whole days and still nothing. Honestly this not the first time either makes you not want to buy anything from the app anymore. Also I never heard back from costumer service about the issue. Great app but room for improvementLove the graphics and stories but add more African American skin tones and features. Such as natural hair and facial features or a black person also it would be nice if you had some thicker female characters . Thicker waist, bustier and some Junk in their trunk. Big girls need love too! Also the stories shouldn’t be so descriptive on looks since we get to choose the female characters. Makes no sense to be described as a blond with blue eyes but my female character is black with dark hair and eyes. Needs workSo i got in a few stories that all seemed to have the same theme going on - which is fine but i wanted to start up a new story and boom the screen went black right after the ad finished. (No my phone did not die), so i exited out if the app and tried to reload it and instead of taking me to the home screen of the app, it opened back up to another ad and then the same black screen. So i tried exited out again a few more times. No improvement. So then i deleted the app and redownloaded it and it was the same issue... even when i tried to start a completely different story - same issue even after deleted the app twice. I literally started playing this 2 minutes ago...Hi, i just wanted to say im enjoying your app a lot so far!! i was reading other reviews about it before i downloaded it and im happy you actually addressed them, ex. the one about representation. i love the darker skinned mc choices as well as the whiter/lighter ones. I also just wanted to talk about that one review where the writer said they are worried about 10 yr olds/children playing this game and that's it too sexual. Good… but borderline racistCurrently reading Detroit:Underworld Psychic. Detroit is 81% black, yet all of the love interests are white men. I decided to look past this since 2 of the 3 are cute. The main characters darkest shade is maybe the color of Alicia Keys, so don’t expect to be able to have a darker skinned mc. But whatever, I’m annoyed because I prefer darker characters, but I decide to look past this. But the fact that I’ve ran into 4 black men in the story so far and 3 out of the 4 have been a rapist and or thug and has tried to abuse the mc in some way is -I think- kinda racist. Very DisappointedI love the stories and the illustrations. I have both Moments and Chapters downloaded. I used to spend about the same amount of time on them. Then I ended up getting more out of Chapters because they have made it ridiculously easy to get diamonds now. So I was seriously disappointed when I opened my app this morning to find that Moments has now made it even harder to accumulate diamonds. Instead of waiting 7 hours (which is way too long) for the diamonds to mature on the diamond tree you have to wait even longer. I now have to wait 21 hours?!?! It is not even worth it anymore. For the peopleThere’s some small parts in a sentence that are written incorrectly, and sometimes you can’t even do what your meant to do in the story because you don’t have enough diamonds. You know, like in the end when everyone lives happily ever after, and they make love and have a baby? Sometimes you can’t even do it, because you have to pay for it. Gems? LGBT stories?Gems. They are a very nice concept in the first place. Gems are used in most “Make your own choices” games, but are commonly overpriced. They are expensive and you need a lot of them to make just one choice. I think they should tone it down, because some people, like me, waste all their gems for a short choice that has pretty much nothing to it. I just finished Going Up and it just about killed me to see “The End.” I was in love with that story. I go to look for another, and there is only one more. Great stories HORRIBLE customer service!!!So I’ve had this app for the last several months and have really enjoyed many of the stories! I love that you can chat with other members and help others with upgrades. They are stingy with diamonds, which you need to make premium choices and have a better in game experience; so to really play you do need to spend money. I’m mostly ok with this as any kind of entertainment, including books, cost money. The app is overall fun and does give the opportunity to get a some diamonds for free and at discounted prices. BUT my biggest problem is that about 2 months ago my account started having many issues. Across the entire platform there have been multiple issues for everyone that the developers have yet to fix or even address. My account seems to be particularly affected as I can’t purchase certain diamond options or upgrade my monthly quest to receive diamonds at a discounted price! I have emailed support MULTIPLE times and they have yet to respond AT ALL. I understand if something is being changed up updated and some accounts are experiencing issues do to that but I believe a response is still necessary!! The CUSTOMER SERVICE is TERRIBLE!! Just like all other story gamesLike all story choice games, the title is very deceiving. “Moments: choose your story” should not be the title of this game. You don’t get to choose your story. Instead for some choices you have to spend gems and a lot of the choices that require gems are ridiculously expensive. These developers only want the money from people’s pockets because in order to get gems you need to spend money or play more episodes which is pointless. Not to mention that sometimes you are required to spend gems on clothing items in the story that you actually do need to advance in the story the way you want to. You don’t get to really choose your own story without spending gems or money. Here’s an idea, actually have your game match it’s title. Let people choose whichever route they want to take in the story without having to spend gems. I understand adding an aspect for in app purchases but if you want to do that I’d say have it where readers/players get a certain amount of episodes per day and if they want more they need to spend gems. Counterproductive to earning money, I know, but seriously a better thought than the way the game is set up. There a no premium features, so no point in paying.Seriously, stop paying for features that don’t really enhance the game experience. Regardless if you pay, use a ton of diamonds on a selecting a choice, it doesn’t necessarily change the outcome of the story unless you are really trying to read the “saucy” stuff. Even then its really not worth it. I fell into that trap early on. And guess what? Interactive features such as “Lucky Spin” is still broken. The list of “perks” for paying are still listed under Coming Soon and that’s at least been for a few months now. For non-paying users you kind of get 2-5 diamonds per day, but costs its like 15-20 diamonds just to select a premium choice in a chapter which there’s usually 4-5 of those choices to make per chapter- and some stories have 20+ chapters per book. I could write on and on about the broken or dormant features of this app, but there’s way too many at this point. Addictive but...This app is really addictive. However the 3 days star free stories aren’t free for 3 days. They’re free until you close the app. It’s really frustrating. Also everything is VERY expensive. There are several children (as young as 10) that are reading this book (they are telling their ages in the book’s comments). I have reported these comments to Moments several times and they still haven’t been removed (neither the comments nor the children’s memberships). Trigger warnings pleaseThe title kind of says it all. Having strong language that makes the story 18+ is not the same as having triggering content in your books. This is because saying has strong content does not necessarily mean triggering subject matter. I thought it meant the book had strong language and the occasional sex scene(implied or otherwise). I really think you can read the hashtags and read the description of every episode and not know what is gonna happen. they do not indicate what might happen in the episode.
