EMRA Antibiotic Guide App Comments & Reviews

EMRA Antibiotic Guide Positive Reviews

No update in over a yearThis was promised a constant update as things change. We’ve had no update in over a year but there is still a yearly fee to pay for the - never has happened - update. App has been useful many many times, but it needs to be updated if you’re going to have a yearly fee for it..Version: 1.0.1

So easy to use!I have been a fan of the book for years and even have attendings asking to borrow it. Finally downloaded the app and couldn’t be happier! It’s so much faster to find the related topic than flipping through a book and the displays are slick. In the app form, the updates are now more frequent instead of waiting for a reprint of the book. I encourage everyone to switch..Version: 1.0.1

Good but needs updateAgree the app needs an update as we are paying an annual fee. I used to buy the print version which was updated annually. The app is good and works well, but if paying an annual fee, needs we should be getting annual updates. Even additional guidance in the information sections would be helpful..Version: 1.0.2

Good guide but needs app updatesThe app is great but needs to be more user friendly and fix the little bugs like needing to click a little lower on the top buttons for them to actually be clicked and the scrolling bar almost in the middle of the screen when you’re reading about anything..Version: 1.0.1

Hugely overrated, don’t waste your moneyThis app is almost a joke. The content is sparse, design amateurish, there are unreadable tables one can’t zoom into. Buy something serious, such as John Hopkins. Or use something free and great such as InfectiousDisease Compendium by Mark Crislip. There is no trial for a reason. No professional would buy it. $10 wasted..Version: 1.0.1

Easy to useThe tables are very helpful and easy to use. It’s a good quick reference for what you need. Excellent for finding alternatives when patients are allergic to the usual one. Definitely appreciate the pediatric dosing chart..Version: 1.0.2

Bring back bookmarks!!!Disappointing update. Please, re-integrate bookmarks. It was a fav feature for me! I paid for the 2018 edition but am using the 2017 version because it’s faster as it opens to my bookmarked page! Kind of feel dumb for paying for the newest edition..Version: 1.0.0

Evidence based, quick updates!Love that the new app rapidly incorporates evidence-based updates rather than having to wait for an entirely new version!.Version: 1.0.1

Why is there a fee with no updates? The app is useful, but why is there an annual fee even though there have been no recent updates?.Version: 1.0.2

Poor for updatesNo new updates and the antibiogram is terrible on iPhone if and when it works.Version: 1.0.2

Update PleaseRequires annually fee now, but no updates in over a year and still needs bugs worked out..Version: 1.0.1

A+!Outstanding product with plenty of pearls we can use on-shift!.Version: 1.0.1

LifesaverI’m in PA school and use this for studying daily! It is such a great little app, and I know I’ll be using it in practice..Version: 1.0.1

Update?Would appreciate an update for the yearly charge..Version: 1.0.2

Needs daily max dosagesGood app, but lacks some clarifying information like daily max dosages and pregnancy ratings..Version: 1.0.2

Needs steady ABx updatesGuidelines now recommend CAP be treated with 2 ABx but EMRA still recommends one. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I still really like the app..Version: 1.0.1

Some good, some badThere are several mistakes in this guide. The premise is awesome, but the mistakes are not! It needs to be fixed!!.Version: 1.0.1

Cefuroxime axetil is discontinuedCefuroxime axetil is discontinued in us but still listed as tx for abscess.Version: 1.0.2
