At first when used it, I heard what sounded like... so much typing, I wasn’t clicking the keys, and it was just RACING with typing sounds. It freaked me out of course, so I just simply closed the app. When I opened it to play Roblox, there, again, was the typing sound. I just ignored it while I was playing, and just assumed it was going to stop somehow, but that’s where I got scared. My tablet started to act odd, sometimes I would click something it wouldn't do anything, until I turned off my tablet and turned back on. Or it would just stop working, the screen would freeze, it would glitch so much. I feel like this app is trying to hack me, but poor little them, I don’t have any important info or any money, so they can leave me alone. And if I’m just mistaking this, make an effort to tell me, I probably won’t believe anyone unless there is proof or something. Because if they were trying to hack me, they would tell me, “Oh no, your terribly mistaken, we would never hack anyone!” Anyways what would you even gain? Some information that doesn’t matter like my non-existent phone number? So just for people to be safe, I want everyone to not download this app unless you need to forsomething important, sadly I do, and it’s the only free one. Oh yeah, not to mention, free apps, are the most likely apps, to contain viruses for your device! Just don’t download this, unless you have nothing to lose, or it’s important. Like me, bye bye. From your dear, not so friend, Funtime.
For my Spanish 2 class we have to read an entire book in Spanish and then take multiple quizzes on each chapter that also happen to be in complete Spanish. This might not seem like a lot to most people but considering that for the past two years (one being completely online schooling due to Covid) all we’ve really learned is the most basic phrases, which isn’t even close to understanding an entire book. I’m Hispanic, but my parents didn’t teach me Spanish as a first language since they knew it would cause a big problem for me in school. They didn’t want me to go through the trouble of having to learn English, so Spanish wasn’t my first language. If I failed the quizzes, there’s no way I’m keeping the A I have in that class. This app literally saved my life. I just translated the entire book and quizzes to English. I know it’s cheating but I can’t just afford to fail, especially since my quince is coming up in a few months. My family is already spending like a bunch of money on it and I don’t want to end up with a 60 in one of my classes while they do all this planning for me.
I have always loved learning languages but never became fluent. However as a driver for multiple rideshare companies this app has come in handy several times! 50 % of my passengers speak Spanish. Never have taken a Spanish class in my life and learned from living in CA I am always limited. Now I want to learn more. Plus my brother in law speaks Spanish, my sister in law speaks German and my friend speaks French. So while trying to learn more Spanish and brush up on my French this app comes in handy. Another reason why I love this app is because taking lessons whether in person or on app you aren’t going to learn certain worlds, slang, different dialects. So I have created a new technique to learn languages using this app. I will say the app does block profanity. For some reason I had recalled a word in Spanish but couldn’t remember what it was so I tried this app and the translation even showed ***** lol So I had to go another route. But overall especially as a rideshare driver, this app is life saver when communication has a language barrier.
This app has been my saving grace for 5 years!! My friend’s mom was born and raised in Columbia, she speaks zero English. She comes over all the time when she’s here to help me with projects around the house. So 5 years ago when she started coming to visit I was frantically searching & trying out translating apps. I was looking for one where we could speak into it, that part was mostly for her, she speaks so fast! lol!! The one we used most fluently was this one. We were able to have whole conversations and get to know each other and now we are best friends a half a world away. <3 When she’s here it’s our personal translator, and English & Spanish teacher. I now can understand her without it most of the time, it’s been 5 years so I’ve picked up a bit of Spanish and I wasn’t even studying it. I have actually been studying Italian. It’s helped there too, because my husband and I are teaching our kids Italian. Keep up the good work guys & thanks for the sticker integration!! :)
I am just in awe of this amazing app! I have absolutely no clue how it can do what it does but I do know the coders and programmers are pure geniuses! We spent 8 days in Italy and anytime we saw something that didn't have an English translation, all we had to do was open the app, snap a photo, hit the blue "Translate" button and Voila, we got a perfect English translation every time! We used it on menus, museum signs, road signs, instruction manuals, and even receipts!! I am particularly astounded by the quality of the translations and frankly, I'm astonished this app hasn't been bought up by Google yet because if Google had the translators and programmers that developed this app on their payroll, I wouldn't have been in the App Store looking for this! Keep up the great work and thank you so much for making our trip to Italy so much easier with this app! I will subscribe for every trip we ever take to a non-speaking country!

This is the best translator I’ve ever used because it is easy to access. You don’t need Internet and you can access it at any time and it’s just really helpful for me because I have a friend that is Spanish in school and I have to have my phone to help her and it’s a lot better than Google translator because you have to have Internet for that. I think that everybody should get this app because it is the best app in the world well, not really the best app in the world. It’s just a good translator and I personally like it. So I think everybody should get this so they can communicate with people that has or does not speak your language or just can’t understand you I think it’s a lot easier to access a lot easier to understand people and stuff so I would like this app. and one thing I like to say is that everybody needs this app because it is so so helpful and I’m so grateful that y’all made it.
Me and my cousin love to talk to eachother in japanese though we dont know how to speak it or even translate it! we used the keyboard for japanese but we said random things that we didnt understand. i was turning on a fonts app and i saw this translate now as a option i turned it on and went to use it and it worked! i changed the language to japanese so now me and my cousin can speak in japanese to each other and know what were saying. it was really exciting and when she translated my chat seeing that i now know what im saying i told her about it and she said its really cool! i told her about the other languages and know she’s obsessed and really happy. im glad i found this app!!
Don’t get me wrong, this translating app is very good, but sometimes on Duolingo (I am learning Russian), it may teach me something and if I want to see if it’s right, I may go here to translate the word. When I do, it might translate to a formal and high advanced Russian word and other times a very informal Russian word or may say something that I know is wrong. I’m not sure if every language on this app has the same issue, but I also noticed that sometimes the Russian word sounds a bit off and sometimes it says something completely differently than what you typed in. Be careful whenever you want to translate something because it may come up inaccurate. Other than all these malfunctions that I have noticed, this app is mostly helpful for me. Give it a try to see how it works out for you!
It’s a great app and it helped me have many conversations with foreign friends..my problem is i wish there was an update on the keyboard because the keys are kind of small and it’s hard to talk, I also wish that there was a feature to favorit the languages you want to speak because It’s exhausting having to scroll through all the languages just have a full on conversation with someone. also the keyboard is a bit smaller than the regular english or other keyboards and that makes it harder to keep up the conversation because of typos and trying to type faster so it would be easier if the keyboard was a bit bigger. but also the emojis get stuck on the keyboard and the keyboard freezes idk if it’s just my phone freezing but the emojis and the keys on the keyboard are too small
This app has helped me so many times. Weather I would have to communicate with a customer that doesn’t speak English, or even if I am just curious on what something means, I would always retreat to this app. There are many features that make this application so helpful and awesome! One being the easy, and surprisingly truthful translator. Yes, many of the best features cost money, but I highly recommend spending that bit of money if you use this like I do. It’s so worth it and they deserve their money. Everything is so thought out and just - precise - to the point where I cannot express it. I 10/10 reccomend this app. It helps me not only communicate, but learn!
It’s a great app, don’t get me wrong. But I’m *ONLY* using it for the keyboard translation feature and I shouldn’t have to pay for that. There’s tons of translation apps out there but they’re all missing one thing which is a keyboard. This app has that and it’s the only one that’s good in my opinion. It’s just really annoying to pay for something that is this small and I do not want to use another app other than this one. Plus, this isn’t an app that I would literally use everyday because I’m not always in a situation where I would need it, so it would be a waste of money to subscribe. Please make this feature free. I believe it would help me and some others a lot.
I downloaded to try and translations are pretty accurate as far as the Chinese. But I noticed in order to translate a message sent to me, I need to upgrade. But the upgrade for pro comes with other apps for free but I’m not interested in those plus $10 a month is a lot of money for some people. Can your company create options to purchase individual apps in a cheaper price so people like me who is only interested in this particular app can afford it if it’s $1 or $2 dollars per month? When that happens, that is when I will upgrade if I cannot already find another app cheaper. Thank you!

Hi, great job for the app, I tested it for he other languages and it’s very good, I would like to ask for your help in adding the central Kurdish (known as Sorani) dialect, it is already added to Microsoft translate, but Microsoft translate is very bad, and central Kurdish also has the biggest database among other Unadded languages in google translate but it’s not added yet, so as you can see it’s not as difficult as other languages to add it to your app and you can gain a ton of attention for it as we are all over the net and have been waiting for this for a long time, I’m very sure that many native speakers are willing to help when informed.
This game can translate to ALL Languages!😍😍 Example: if you have a Egyptian friend... and you don’t know how to speak Arabian... you’d be worried right you’d be like, “How do I talk to her/Him?! They want to be my friend!!! What do I do?” This app is your solution!🤗 you can even TRY speaking the language your looking for... or even message them the sentence/word you translated ( If you want )... if you want to message someone.. u just have to click on the sentence/ word, then you’ll have some options on what to do! Remember to click the app, you mostly chat with your, other cultural friend! Remember to download! - secret, “translate now” app, Lover

I am A scholar who was asked to translate A huge essay more than 3,300 words Essay from Arabic to English. I tried Reverso and other apps but no one did the work. But then I gave this a try AND IT EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS LITERALLY. Not only this app had (almost) unlimited word count it can translate But it’s use of words were Very sound. I am beyond thrilled That I found this and I am considering To pay 70$ a year for this wonderful app. P.S— Would love to meet the developer on someday in person and thank Him.
I enjoyed the app. I’m happy that has Haitian Creole and that the AI Voice feature is in beta works with the voice of hearing the creole hopefully that can be extended to also being able to have a two-way conversation with someone that speaks Haitian Creole and speaks English that’s why I’m looking for an app, but this is the closest that I found so far, I can get the conversation with the Haitian creole even with AI Voice beta this will be the perfect app otherwise great job. Hopefully you can get that done soon.
I'm actually giving one star but apple is such a scam, anything lower than 4-5 stars will never show up. This app is like all others today, they want to make millions from digital handiwork that should cost pennies not dollars. Greed like this will end everything. But they have excuses, yeah so did Paypal before Elon! Trim the fat, charge less, quadruple your numbers. Not smart enough to understand this, that's why Elon is where he is and you are NOT!
I pay a subscription for Translate Now but now when I open the app each time I have to bypass an ad for Air Apps One. It wasn’t until I reloaded the app that this is occurring. I do not want to be bothered by this for a paid Translate Now subscription. I can understand if the app was free but I am a paying customer . I hope someone at Translate Now can tell me how to remove this or else I’ll be forced to return to Google Translate. Thank you
So I've been using this app for a while for my language class. And it's be very accurate an helpful. I definitely recommend this app for students who are learning a language if you want precise translation. The free version does this very well. My only issue is that, if I want to take picture of something I would have to upgrade which I OBVIOUSLY can't pay for. Other than that Its amazing! I definitely recommend the free version for stufents
Hi you are cool

Super 🙏🙏🙏🥳
Perfect translater
👌🏼
Easy to use multiple ways to translate, helped out a lot.
非常好👍Very fast & good!
Very nicely done for the most part. Have had some issue with the verbal speech translate from English to Czech- doesn’t speak the translated text in Czech, but instead only states the English part entered with a thick Czech accent. Very odd.
This app is very good. It helps me a lot with translation and is easy to use. I like it very much.
C’est un bon engin de travail pour les mots les moins utilisés merci
I love
Translate Now - AI Translator Negative Reviews and Ratings
It worked out well at first but after a couple of weeks it didn’t work out the way it used to I don’t know if it has to do with the app being updated or the iOS new 17 update but there used to be an icon in the top of your text that you just press and it would automatically change your text to the default language. But then it disappeared and the only way I could do it was by highlighting the entire text going to more and then selecting translations then going to insert translation. It wasn’t as easy as it used to be. Also it would be nice if when someone texts me it would what they said in other language and underneath it would show translation in your language this way it makes it easier to communicate with the other person, for faster and easier communication. But that’s just my opinion. It did do a good job with translation. But so does google translate and it seems to be taking just as long a that did so I unsubscribe from there service due to this issue. If this app gets better in the future I would love to give it another chance. This is my reason for a 3 star. Over all not bad, but it just didn’t flow as fast as I would have liked it to for the subscription that I was paying for that’s the only complaint I have.
I have a family share account with my Kids and my fiancé. My fiancé is Iraqi and always looks at different translation apps, we use them all the time. I use them to communicate with his mom and he uses them when he is struggling with something he hears or sees. I didn’t even try this app I do not care at all what the translation quality is. What annoys me is that as soon as you open the app it’s a message to purchase, so my fiancé pushes the button not really realizing he was purchasing this app. When $70 came out of my account I was a little less then livid. I have contacted support twice with absolutely no response back. I wanted it canceled immediately. Even though this app is part of my family share account and it shows up in my purchase history I can’t even access the app myself says I have not purchased anything. Since I never got a response back and APPLE SUPPORT couldn’t help because they don’t manage subscriptions for this developer we figured ok let’s just use it for a year and see how it is. However there is no way to prevent this app from renewing next year unless I go cancel my debit card, I can’t even access the additional areas of the app that are suppose to be a part of the purchased app. So this company has $70 of my money, no way for me to stop subscription, neither myself or my fiancé can even access the app beyond the free portion. Now I have to go through a lengthy dispute process with my bank to have the transaction reversed. Buyer beware!!!!
I went to Puerto Vallarta and I had no luck with this app. I mean, I could speak into it and then it’ll translate in Spanish and the other way around, but if I’m at a table or close by to somebody, it can’t hear anybody it’s like I’m listening. It was complete waste of my time if I turn on Google though Google did really well I’m like and that’s for free app so I don’t know. in fact, if I’m texting on my regular Apple iPhone, it can hear a conversation like across the room and it starts texting what somebody else is saying across the room that’s how well texting is why can’t this app hear unless I’m 6 inches from the microphone. That’s the only it hears anything I’m saying or the other person like 5 feet from me I don’t get it . I thought this would be a better app cause I’m paying 9.99 a week but obviously it wasn’t. I was very unhappy with it. Here’s the kicker I have the Apple pod three for translation, but I didn’t feel like putting them in my ears. People thinking I’m listening to music and ignoring them. I don’t even know why I bought them but they work well on a plane when I’m watching my movies lol
I subscribed for the one month subscription. It worked for 3 days. Now the camera won’t work. It just keeps asking me to subscribe. (Edited to add-I was charged for the subscription). The text translation keeps interrupting me with ads. Extremely frustrated with this app. I will be even more upset and frustrated if I get charged for anything. I was planning on keeping the subscription as I’m trying to learn Spanish and I can use this for my job. But not if it ignores the subscription and acts like I never subscribed to anything. Edit to add. Now I’m home from my trip from Oaxaca and Teotitlán. I see that I was definitely charged for this subscription. I can officially say this app is horrible for the simple fact that I subscribed and was only able to use it for 3 days without adds. Also, couldn’t use any features OFFLINE which is basically everywhere in Teotitlán. It’s incredibly frustrating to use the text translation and to be interrupted with an ad. I seriously want a refund for the subscription. Next time I leave the country I’ll use something else for translation help.
You have developed a useful app, but requiring full access for translation keyboard use simply makes you look suspicious and dishonest. There is no reasonable need to require full access to the history of all app use on a user’s device. It should be completely voluntary. I subscribed and was happy to pay for using the app, until I tried activating the keyboard function and found out about the requirement to grant the developers full access to all keystrokes using that app function. Absolutely not. First, it’s not necessary to have full access to make the app function. Yes, it may help the developers improve the accuracy and function of the app, but that should be a voluntary choice by the user, not a requirement of the developer or their commercial management. Second, anyone using their device keyboard to transmit sensitive information like passwords, health or financial information would be an idiot to allow strangers full access to every keystroke they type. Third, any developer knows points 1 & 2 are true, and should understand that requiring full access simply makes them look dishonest. Fourth and last, IMHO, understanding point 3 and still requiring full access rather than making it optional simply implies point 3 is more likely true than not, and that the developing company should not be trusted for this app or any app they offer that may require access to sensitive information. I’ll be happy to change my review if and when this issue of required full access is resolved.
WARNING, WATCH YOUR WALLET. I downloaded this with the 3 day trial to attempt to translate manga from Japanese to English. Even with perfect lighting, and zooming in on one sentence at a time, the vast majority of words did not translate at all. The few words that did were poorly translated and mostly incoherent. I got frustrated after an hour of trying to make it work and forgot about the app. Thats when the auto-billing started. Yes, it is my fault that I forgot to cancel before the 3 days was up. However, it is worth pointing out that the default auto-bill is a WEEKLY payment of $4.99. This is clearly predatory and money-grabbing, hoping you will forget about your 3 day free trial. I’m sure the dev is making plenty of money off this non-functional app and the people who forgot they downloaded it. And he is clearly spending some of his earnings on fake reviews to pad his app store score. But I’m not pleased, and heed my warning, this app is verging on a SCAM.
I downloaded this app thinking I would get the whole package free to help with my home work but no the call for money stilll rung. It is pitiful not just this app but almost every app on the iCloud AppStore requires payments or fees to unlock the whole app can you stop caring so much about the money and more about the convenience of your head strong consummers that continue to buy your piece of garbage phones that continue to not get better aside from the physical traits you people are just sad it gross to see such a huge company with lots of potential to just not give a sh”” about anything besides money I’m switching to Samsung and to anyone reading this you should to they have everything this company does but it’s not just in it for money they listen to their consumers and add constant updates based on buyers reviews
Almost every feature in the app costs money and subscription. If I download an app to translate, I require it to be able to use and be able to translate when people are talking but that costs money for to be able to speak into the translator. I also need to take images to translate words I do not know, if I’m in a foreign country, but that costs money too. This app truly does the bare minimum, even google translate has free microphone. This app just translates what you type, and that’s it. If you are in a foreign country you have basically no chance of surviving if you rely and this horrible app. I hope nobody downloads this money obsessed app. What about not making everything cost money and try to make this app to actually help people and to make travel easier for people instead of farming money off of people.
So I love this app for everything it does, except for one thing and that one thing makes this review go from 5 stars to 2. Let’s start off by saying this app is very fun. I used this app to figure out what was in a ginger drink powder from a wrapper. My mom and I both loved it! I am annoyed because the app will push you to have a free trial, but when you try to cancel it, I can’t. I hate this. I’m not allowed to cancel my subscription no matter what I do. I’ve went into my Apple account and did the same thing to all my other subscriptions that I don’t want charging my card, unsubscribe. But on this app, I cannot. I’m very annoyed right now. All I want to do is unsubscribe, but I can’t even if I log into the app. (I say log into, because deleted it) So, can customer service help me? From A used to be fan off this app
Let me make one point-> This app DOES translate That is one thing that it does. If you’re looking for an app that translates this will do the job BUT •Only for a few languages...• ——————— THIS isn’t even my main problem. I understand the fact that they have to make money some how and I can also understand that they don’t want to put every language on an app for storage reasons(you can download some languages). •My MAIN PROBLEM is that even AFTER you download the language, they don’t have a button for how they would say it in the language you’re translating to. • ——————— THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF A TRANSLATOR IS HEARING HOW TO SAY IT. ———— The only language it can say it in is English. THEY COULDN’T EVEN DO ENGLISH IN A DIFFERENT ACCENT. unless you know how to read the language you’re translating to, you’re better off not downloading this app. Is it the worst app of it’s kind? No. Could you find worse? Absolutely. The thing is I’m not comparing it to what it’s better than I’m comparing it to what’s better than it and there are better apps that do so much better than this for free. My point is, don’t download it. There are better translator apps. Thanks for reading if you did :) Have a good day :)
The app seems to translate into text very well but when I try to have voice text read back to the person I’m trying to translate to, you can barely hear it no matter how much I turn up my phone to maximize it and so I reached out for support and they asked me to send the screenshot so I told him I just needed to know where their help text was I needed them to tell me how to turn the volume up . I replied to their request for a Screenshots asking where their help text was or if they could just give me directions on how to improve increase the volume and days later still no response after waiting two days for the first response . Can’t find help text Ken can’t get help and I could do text translations for free anywhere
Maybe I wasn’t using it right but it was constantly trying to make me pay money. I am fine if there is a BETTER version that costs money but it would not allow speaking into the microphone at all with the free version and if there is a way to type in another language I did not find it. The transliteration has English spelling for both Japanese and Chinese mixed together ( I was trying to use it for Japanese) so that would not be helpful for pronouncing things either. I know a little bit of Japanese enough to know it was gibberish for the transliteration and since it would not allow speaking into the microphone in the free version could not use it to actually have a conversation with a Japanese person which is what I want. This really is not helpful.
App runs well when it runs well until it doesn’t. Translation randomly just stops working entirely, losing all the translated text or conversations. App crashes often on multiple devices, not just mine. Keyboard addon is great except something about it is off with detecting keystrokes and letters as my words come out jumbled or missing letters entirely when using it. I have to switch to a different keyboard and type out what I want and then switch back to translate it. It’s just exceptionally inaccurate. Downloadable language selection is pretty limited. Latin American Spanish is missing entirely as an option to boot, nothing but formal Spanish for Spain.
With the plethora of other options available for your personal translation needs, why would this one have the audacity to attach a monthly fee of 9.99 to it!!? It’s as good as any scam, which means it’s genuinely awful and they are not a business at all for the wellbeing of the people. So if anyone is reading this, don’t waste your time and just press back and pick LITERALLY ANY OTHER app and you will get the same if not BETTER quality of an app. Not to mention google has been a translator since the dawn of time. Not a very good one, however, they never had the nerve to try and ask one of their consumers for dime. Really disappointing that theirs so many selfish awful businesses in this day and age. I’d even go as far as to say it’s terrifying.
Can you stop the pop-up notifications ( Air Apps One Soar the Sky of Possibilities ) for the monthly subscription every time I open the app? It's really annoying to see this pop-up every time I use the app, and it makes the experience very slow. The only reason I would uninstall this app is because of this issue. If users want to pay for a monthly or premium subscription, they will do so without needing a pop-up notification every time they use the app. Please consider changing this or finding a new approach, as it is quite bothersome.
Excellent but $4.99/week for all features is way too much. That’s $20/month or $240/year. It’s absolutely not worth that given I’ll use it a few times per year or if I’m on a trip to France, Italia or a Spanish speaking country. What happened to the flat one time fees? These “subscription” apps have gotten greedy and it only hurts these apps in the apps industry with sharp declines bc of subscriptions bc people get TIRED of paying recurring fees. Thankful I bought the most needed ones for my career long ago which I don’t have to pay the new recurring fees charges associated. Bad, greedy business model though it is a 5 star app.
App requires weekly payment to use voice and provides full access to 11 other apps which most are not needed. I wish there was a lower subscription cost for this app only. I don’t have issues for paying for a good app but $5 a week is outrageous. More importantly app does not allow users to try and test voice translation unless users pay full subscription. I am not willing to pay before testing the functionality. Developers must provide 2 day testing so user can determine if the app works or not. I am immediately deleting the app.
This app is very annoying. I’m trying to record some stuff in Spanish for my class, but it keeps telling me to sign up for the new free trial. Every time I press the record button. It doesn’t really help it’s just there to grab money from you and squeeze every single time. It shouldn’t help people learn and help translate for Spanish or any other language to squeeze money. If the game can I have these normal feature that should be free become free that would be respectable but they’re just trying to squeeze and grab as much money as they can’t doesn’t make sense. This type of stuff should be free and it is free for many many other apps, all wrapped up as many other better options than this.
You can’t see the utility of the app without subscribing. After installing the app and launching it you are immediately and endlessly bombarded by pages asking you to subscribe. App developer: if you have the expectation for people to pay for something, give them a taste of what your app can do. Otherwise it’s an immediate turnoff. Even Google Translate does a better job of translating compared to what one can see with this app. Don’t waste your time with this app like I did. Any trial should in my opinion be offered for a limited time with no sign up requirements. I’m not willing to “pre purchase” anything without qualification. Neither should you. The app with all of its ad banners is pretty much like Google Translate or Apple Translate.
I installed this app to give it a try and was hopeful it would be productive. I installed the translation keyboard and quickly found it was buggy and didn’t work very well, so I uninstalled it. But now I’m stuck with leftover artifacts that make my iPhone keyboard not work correctly. I’ve tried every tip to uninstall it. It’s still interferes with my keyboard, even after deleting the app!!! I think my only choice is going to be a factory reset my entire phone, which is a massive pain in the neck. Avoid this app! Apparently this is a known problem as I was able to find some other posts about it online, and yet the developers still haven’t fixed it. It’s infuriating.
I downloaded the Translated Now app from App Store because I wanted to translate an English sentence into Spanish. I have no prior knowledge how App Store subscription works. As usual, I just click “Yes” to all on-screen interactions not knowing I have accepted the Air Apps terms. I was charged $4.99 on my credit card 7 days later. When I disputed with Air app customer service, their response was “...you will need to cancel your subscription before the end of the period”. I believe this software publisher has no clue about customer satisfaction but wanting to earn $4.99 in exchange for bad customer satisfaction. I will not consider any apps published this company. They are alternatives in the market with better customer services. Beware! You will be charged $4.99.
For something free on bing and google translators, I would think people would be anxious to show how they are better before charging. I installed to see what was different in image translation of kanji (which failed), and was surprised to see I was already signed up for a paid service. I completely own that I may have just clicked through that notice, so I checked with someone else. Turn out, they were already paying for this service without being aware. Having a smooth paywall to allow paid opt-in is well understood, but (understanding a small sample) this is different enough from comparable apps to feel slimy and deliberate.
This app I had previously downloaded had downloaded back from my iCloud make sure that it was up-to-date. My iOS is updated I am using an iPad Pro 2017 model 10.5 inch and I tried to open up the app and can barely read what it says and I hit continue so I can use that with my health aides as I am unfortunately now hospital bed bound due to Lou Gehrig’s disease. And it is not a free app. I didn’t even see it a choice to “not here have the three day cancellation or trial. In order to use this translator. If the developer of the app would adjust the system so that I’m able to use it again, but I would highly recommend this app with a five star. Until then I would advise anyone else with this issue to go elsewhere..
I use this app daily to communicate with my foreign friends and family. For the past year this app has saved a little bit of time with translation since it is easiest to communicate in our native languages. Before the most recent update 10/22 I would have given the app 4 stars. Updated the app 3 days ago and the keyboard is no longer automatic when translating- it’s an enormous waste of time to swap back and forth between languages in the course of a normal paced conversation. Furthermore, there is a sudden mandatory subscription of $5 a week (A WEEK!) in order to use the keyboard. $5 a month would be more appropriate and I’d be willing to subscribe. This app/keyboard is not worth $20 a month. Gross.
I’ve been using this as a translation keyboard, and it had been working great for a while. So great that I paid for the year’s subscription. But lately it’s been glitching and not working nearly as well. Ever since the update a week ago. It won’t translate the entire text I type (which is maybe 2-3 sentences), and now won’t let me easily switch back and forth between languages. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, but nothing has worked. I’m really hoping things get fixed and it becomes reliable again.
For an language translation app that seems to boast chatgpt from the very first time you open it, it's very cringey to immediately see the translation options mistakenly listed as "Korean Person" to "English" or "Russian Person" to "Chinese". My phone's system language is set to Korean, so I guess it's an error there, but it just seems lazy to not have checked something so simple as how the menus appear in different popular languages. Especially when charging money for something people can get for free just by asking a question on the actual chatgpt app.
An update came through a while ago and I noticed that now there is a paywall that pops up every time I open the app. I got this when it was completely free. It may have had in-app purchases, but a paywall didn’t pop up every time I opened it. I still like the app, but between they paywall and the new user interface, it’s not as good as it was. It’s confusing how it’s configured now. I’ll keep using it because I refuse to use google, but please revert it back to the understandable, easy interface.
As Somebody who wants to learn how to speak another language fluently in addition to reading it fluently, I find this is a terrible app to be able to achieve such a goal. Learning on this app is like using the plastic donuts to stack on top of each other and it really doesn’t matter if it was in order as long as it got done right? sometimes I really feel like this is the generation that I’m dealing with on a daily basis. I’m also disgusted with the fact that I’m trying to cancel this app because I never wanted to purchase it in the first place. I can go to google translator for free and understand what the translator is saying better than this app voiceover. My apologies.
I’ve been using this a few years now and it was 100% amazing but these last couple months it has been super buggy. When using the translation keyboard, attempting to move the cursor by long pressing + dragging finger makes all letters on the keyboard disappear. Translating multiple sentences doesn’t work either, it only translates the very last sentence now. This happened on my 13 pro and it’s still happening on my 17 pro max. Hopefully they can fix this so it can go back to being a 5 star app. The actual translator app works just fine but the keyboard is no bueno now.
This app does not work. It does not allow me to select a photo and demands for money just for simple features which is unnecessary and a total rip-off. I refreshed the app and tried to select another photo but it kept crashing. No matter how high the rating is, don’t try this app.
Use google translate people, don’t use this scam app. Translations are identical, because it uses google’s own api, the one they use in their own app. Why pay for something that you can get for completely free with no ads elsewhere? Use google translate instead
The just want money. You have to pay to use the translator.
Free to download but requires you to register for their 3 day trial and subscription in order to actually translate anything.
Can’t translate a single word since every single time an add pops up!! So irritating. Plus,It demands money to for the simple futures. Total rip-off.
Asked to pay 6.50$ a week front end! That’s about 28$ a month for not even knowing the heck what this app is about!
Wanted to try a free app and without clicking anything it charged me $6.49 PER WEEK. With no consent
Don’t download. Is a waste of time. Can’t try it without constant ads for auto subscriptions. And if you hit the wrong button by accident you are signed up without knowing it.
To do anything with the app you have to first agree to a free 3 day subscription to Air Apps Pro. After the 3 free days you’ll automatically be charged $6.49/week for the Air Apps Pro. After deciding I was wasting my time trying to make Translate work I tried to leave the site but found that it automatically enrolled me in Air Apss Pro. I can’t stand sleaze like this.
骗子,骗子,骗子
You only learn few languages, please make all languages all free, please update
WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY TO TRANSLATE WORDS 😡, just get google translate if you don’t want to pay
Downloaded this because it said free Only to find out after downloading it wanted to charge me monthly fee of $9.99 What a joke !
Do not get this app unless you are going to subscribe. I’m constantly getting ads and I’m never able to translate without an interruption.
I downloaded app to try and was auto subscribed to app. It charged $13.99 for a month by default. No success with Apple or vendor to address!! Seems like a very deceptive practice!
I think that it should be free to use this app! It’s not fair everything is already money everywhere in life, countries. But that’s all! ☺️ thank u for having me rate this
App will not work without first purchasing access to all the developer’s apps. Should not be advertised as free with in-app purchases. I was looking for a good translator app but I wouldn’t buy anything without a guarantee or quality check. Any company that is this blatantly dishonest from the get-go doesn’t inspire confidence from this consumer. Will find something that isn’t from a developer so ethically compromised.
Tros chère 9,99$ par mois et Microsoft et autre free ?
I downloaded this app for and deleted it within ten minutes, and it automatically made me subscribe to it. Now I’m being charged monthly $12.99 for an app I do not have.
Randomly just signed me up for a subscription… I think I opened the app once and exited it. Never signed up
Easy to use , especially for instance part
Not the best and u can’t even do conversation without a payment other than that It’s fine
It’s a good program but more instruction is needed for basic users real time voice translation so you can use it in another app like WeChat
Everything should be تود-ally فري!
Avec la fonction GPT-5 Pro, ça traduit très bien. Par contre je trouve que les frais sont très élevé, c’est pour ça que je ne m’abonnerais pas.
Paid app marketed as free
Not very smooth .. also why there is a huge latency ?
Be careful of the auto charge for subscription fee
Hoot
Does not work if you don’t pay $10 per week! I’d rather open a browser and google translate/chat GPT translate everything. This is horrible value - Complete rip-off.
This app doesn’t work. Don’t subscribe
Every 6th translate it pops up to ask if I’m enjoying it. I keep saying no, when I chose yes it took me here so I’m just leaving a review to hope that it stops
