This game is so time consuming. I played it for about an hour and I thought I had been playing it for five! It’s also very fun. Fun, but for the wrong marketThe idea of a skateboarding game ideally would be allowing all aspects of skateboarding to be involved and the fluency of controls between those styles of skating should be phenomenal. Now, i understand this is not a skateboarding simulator (as a matter of fact, its not even really a vert simulatuon) but by pushing this as a "skateboarding" app, theres not any skill to exhibit in terms of critical thinking and timing of execution and many other things about real life skateboarding. Again, im not trying to criticize this as a skateboarding simulation, because thats not what it is, but it could at least have some aspect of realism and try to capture the freedom of skating my combining tricks and grans. Decent game.I’ve played a lot of skateboarding and snowboarding games and have been looking for a good one. This game has a variety of tricks but they all revolve around a backflip or front flip. So I wish the creator of this game could have been a little better at competing up with skate tricks. Also the way that gives you money the most is ads. Fun but repetitiveIt’s a fun game to waste time with. Unfortunately, it’s pretty easy. You can do 3 moves the whole time and rack up crazy high points. There’s no real reward for playing. I got the last character from the prize machine the first 15 mins that I played (I’ve had the app maybe about 2 weeks now). After that it’s all upgrading. I maxed him out and one of my skateboards so there’s no reason for me to use any other boards or characters. Great job updating game with new content. I wish there was a leaderboard option to show where everyone is ranked on each map. Coin and spin issueThis is a really great game, very fun, very simple, and just a really good time killer. Now the only thing i see wrong with this game is its reward system. To get different character, boards, tricks, etc, you need to get them from the vending maching thingy. Now you might just think, " oh its just 25 coins" but the more you buy the more the cost goes up. So i would say bring it to 50 or 100 coins and make it stay there, dont make it so it can keep getting more expensive. Has so much potentialThis game has great mechanics. I’ve always wanted some sort of skate game on iOS but have never enjoyed any of them until this one. The potential to expand on this game is huge. Here is a few thoughts: 1. This game is way too good to have it be plagued with annoying ads every 10 seconds you play. I’d pay $4.99 to get rid of the ads but that is somehow not an option yet. 2. With all the different levels, this game could totally have a campaign mode of some sort where it takes you through every level and you have to get a certain number of points to progress on. Rather than giving out new tricks via a pay to play vending machine (👎), you could earn them by progressing through the campaign. 3. Being able to create your own skater and customize aspects of them would be rad. Fun but a bit annoying.This is a fun game to play and pass time. I’ve always loved skateboarding games and to see one like this is awesome. It’s easy to play and fun. However, upgrading and getting new items is nearly impossible. Addicting, funny...but...When I first played this game, I was a little happy when looking at the graphics. Playing game with the skating detail seemed so cool and addicting. Fix the landingsGame looks great, doesn’t require energy to keep playing, and currency adds up sufficiently. Landing your tricks is too difficult. There needs to be an on-screen prompt so we know when we’re pointing the right way for the landing. Maybe an arrow that goes from red to green when you’re safe to land? A green check mark? Anything would be better than nothing. My games last about 15 seconds at a time because I fall on my face when I thought I was aimed correctly. Big Bug.Right as you download it and do what it says to do, if you don’t land your skateboard then your screen glitches out and you can’t click anything. Loot spin problemBeen playing the game for a long time have a maxed out skateboard and a maxed out character. (Yes I have played that much to max out both stats on each) The loot spin system is very broken. For starters, the daily free spin you receive gives the same thing everyday. Coins. Yes the coins are useful but they only give somewhere around 50 coins per day. Stop teasing us with the idea we could unlock something else from the daily spin. It’s not possible. Secondly, I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve unlocked a skateboard from the regular loot spins that you have to pay for. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Also the fact that you can receive duplicate items is very frustrating. This game preys on your money as a pay to win system. I knew what I was getting into when I first played. However, I literally have every map in the game, every character and every skateboard. But all I have are two different tricks I can use. Don’t get this game unless you want a money pitThis game makes it impossible to do anything without spending real money. Not only do they try to force you to spend real money but their prices are ridiculous to where no on in their right mind should fall for it. If they wanted to sucker people into spending money price everything for .99 cents or 1.99 that way they’re more likely to spend it. Coins make no difference in the game since you can only upgrade your board with them(not buy a new one). The only way other than spending money to remotely change anything in the game is to use your daily spin(which isn’t actually daily). And you never get anything that’s actually valuable you usually get coins which you get plenty of while playing but have zero need for. This game could be awesome if they weren’t being so greedy and desperately trying to take your money. Fun but boringI find this game fun but it’s ruined by the fact that I’ve been playing for two weeks and still only have one trick unlocked. The way to unlock new things in the game is through loot crates. You can buy loot crates with real money or grind for hours to afford to buy with in-game coins, which the price goes up every time you buy one. So I’m taken away from the fun of the game to grind for hours doing the same one trick over and over and over and over again, trying to unlock a new trick that never comes. The Coins Are PointlessInitially it’s fun but after it gets stale. You accumulate all the coins that, at most, you can upgrade your player or board but you never unlock any new tricks which is pretty lame.
