Programmer Stranded w/ Only An iPad? Get Your Soul Back w/ UserscriptsI've been sans computer or laptop for nearly 3 years. The amount of things I found myself unable to do was getting to be egregious and soul crushing. I think Shortcuts is alright, if you don't mind the worst and slowest workflow imaginable. Then, one day, the universe put Userscripts in my path, and my iOS has since started therapy for the amount of disrespect I've been able to give it! Seriously, you can accomplish an inordinate amount of stuff with this. I made a widget with a picture of orange soda, and when you press it, you are prompted to speak: you must ask it "Who loves orange soda?". In return, it says "KEL LOVES ORANGE SODA!". As for useful things, you can create Progressive Web Apps like I did with a small game engine that emulates a terminal and plays like a modern text adventure game. I've made an application for adding lore to my worldbuilding dictionary. I could go on, but I can't recommend Userscripts enough for fans of mayhem and people on deserted islands like me!.Version: 1.8.6

Good project, but feeling like not complete for beginnerThis is an excellent open-source project with a simple interface and completely free. However, the software only has two actions for a certain script, on and off, without further operations. It should be noted that many scripts currently provide more options for specific web pages, such as the option to support single or double columns on search result pages. This software does not provide this function. I guess users need to write their own operations in the script, but for ordinary users, this is very difficult. I hope the developers can take care of beginners and allow ordinary users to further set up script functions on specific web pages..Version: 1.4.2
Great for WaniKani on iPadI’ve been studying kanji on WaniKani for over a year now. On my computer I use the Tampermonkey extension to extend and improve the experience of the site. Thanks to Greasemonkey I can now take my iPad and do lessons and reviews on the go while enjoying the extended experience. One suggestion: let me specify the order in which scripts should be loaded. Some scripts depend on others being present (e.g. WaniKani Open Framework) and it would be ideal to set them to load first. Somehow when I refresh the page, I can get the scripts to load correctly, but not always… I wouldn’t mind setting this myself if the option is provided..Version: 1.2.0
WonderfulNeeded this for Mac Safari! Just the tool to use to run Javascripts on webpages. Easy to install; easy to control; easy to update. Just works. [Question: I have a red badge in the icon in the Safari toolbar. It's saying "1," like I have a pending message or problem, but I can't see anything. Good when it works, but have to keep opening up app to stay enabledApp does it’s job when you first download the script into the userscripts directory, however after a few days or so the scripts automatically turn off. Then it says you need to go into the userscripts app and open the document folder you downloaded the script to in order to enable it again… which is really annoying to have to do every few days. Any way to keep the scripts permanently on without having to open up the app every few days or so?.Version: 1.7.1
I’ve never had a more useful extensionPersonally, I am a huge perfectionist when it comes to User Interface. I know that’s not everything this extension is capable of, but this allowed me to theme Discord, Wikipedia, and many other websites that have an unappealing UI. Best App for this ReasonI have used a lot of Style / Script apps but this one is the best. The interface and customization options are top-notch but what really makes it so great is the fact that it can sync your styles to iOS!! Huge fan of this extensionI write a lot of UserScripts on both Windows and Mac. I've used all the ...Monkey variants on Windows, and of all the UserScript tools I've used on any platorm, this one is the best. It's a bit of Hobson's choice on iOS since the choices are very limited, but I honestly have no idea what I'd want that this tool doesn't have..Version: 4.4.3

Best thing since sliced breadThey said it's impossible but this dev pulled it off. Userscripts allows you to do thousands of things that were previously desktop only. I have even written some scripts for it myself. It's very stable and works flawlessly with Safari. Please keep up the great work..Version: 1.8.6
Bye Bye tampermonkeyTamperMonkey really showing it's age these days, very laggy UI– it feels like it hasn't changed much since the firefox 0.9 days (if you remember those days). This extension has a much more appealing icon and design, faster UI and editor, and can sync across iCloud drive easily. Fantastic!.Version: 4.4.5
Unpredictable when it applies scripts, but still useful. Prob due to Apple's buggy Files api.Update: it's been working between the last few reboots and I'm starting to think the problem is mainly Apple's buggy platform. Especially with anything that leverages Files. ---old For months now, I've had to go in and redefine the script directory. It's extremely annoying. Love the app on iOS and iPadOs, but it does not work on the Vision ProApp is stuck on the informational screen telling me to go into settings to enable the extension under safari settings, and allow on all websites. Clean UI, Almost PerfectIt is super simple to use and have very clean design. Just one issue. There is no way to hide the side bar in the editor that it came with. It really takes up a lot of precious horizontal space when you are working in split screen. So, if you see this, please add a way to hide side bar!.Version: 4.4.5

Broke until reinstallI love the extension but recently it stopped running scripts completely until I force uninstalled/reinstalled it. Not even restarting my phone fixed the problem, only deleting and reinstalling it.Version: 1.8.2

Weirdly few reviews for one of the greatest safari extensionsSafari has far less extensions than Chrome or even Firefox. Userscripts are browser agnostic. This is the best userscript application.
