I need help!I’ve been playing this game for quite a while and love it! For the past couple weeks, after I play one round, usually after the daily puzzle, the screen goes black and I can’t get it to restart. Getting out and back in, doesn’t help. I usually just quit & try the next day. I finally just quit playing 4-5 days ago. Thought I’d try again today, with the same results. I thought maybe I’d try to delete the app & reload. That’s when I saw other complaints. I have an Ipad, probably 3 yrs old. I have 6 other MobilityWare apps that I play every day with no problems. Help!.BergscootVersion: 1.1.0

OriginalUpdate: I was disappointed to see a form letter-type response to my review. There doesn’t seem to be any plan in place, or being developed, to address this issue. Guys, how difficult can it be to address a user’s legitimate problem or suggestion specifically? You aren’t having to deal with a lot of them every day. Take 10-30 minutes each day and make your customers feel valued with a response addressing their specific review. Repeatedly using identical form letters to respond to your customers makes them feel demeaned and unappreciated, and I felt like I had just been brushed off and dismissed. So, I’m going to “dismiss” (read “delete”) this game. When I saw this in the App Store, I thought, “Finally! A word game that is substantially different than the others!” And it is! Gameplay is unlike any other word game I’ve found. It’s enjoyable, if not particularly challenging. My problem with this game are the liberties taken with the words and phrases used as answers to the puzzle. I’m not sure where the creators of the individual puzzles are from, but often the answer has little to no connection to the stated category. I like the game itself but . . .I like the game itself. Fun and interesting puzzles. Even with the more obscure titles, I can usually guess correctly within the bonus limit. While there are advertising videos, they typically play between rounds; or in the middle of a round only when you’ve left the app for some reason. And the ads usually may be fast- forwarded (cut short) after a few seconds; you rarely have to sit through a 30 second ad. Three is a serious bug, though. More often than not after an ad plays, the screen goes dark instead of going back to the game. And when I say “more often than not” I mean it quite literally; more than half the time you won’t be returned to the next game after watching the ad. You have to close the app and reopen it; not that it’s too terrible a chore, but it does get quite annoying..Sam Spayed PIVersion: 1.1.0

Word searchLot’s of fun yet difficult categories as I believe some things are not necessarily correct. I still love the challenge! I finished the game with over 2000 questions. It is clearly the best game ever! So I downloaded it again and hope that new questions are added. There are a few minor glitches, but nothing to stop e from enjoying challenging myself. 10 stars !! Several misspelled question. For example: the old man and the sea is spelled incorrectly as old mank and the sea. This type of error uses up many points. I have found 6 such errors. Great game!UPDATE: spoke a little too soon, whoops lol I’m also experiencing the black screen issue it seems, isn’t a huge deal but a little annoying. The problem seems to be when screen rotation isn’t locked and if I’m laying in bed for example and roll over, the black screen will appear after my screen is rotated from portrait to landscape. Loving this game so far! I have bad anxiety I’m always looking for games that are put my brain to use but not so much that it makes my anxiety worse. Fun concept!I don’t normally enjoy this particular type of word game because they’re usually too dull. But adding the twist of trying to uncover and solve phrases adds a strategy hook that these apps normally lack. The game skews very easy for my tastes but there’s an upside to that, it makes it good to relax with. I recently had a trial subscription to Apple Arcade which I cancelled because I couldn’t find any games worth keeping a subscription for. But this game is better than anything I found on Apple Arcade. I would have given this game five stars but I had a deduct a star because it has an incomplete dictionary. I always test these games to see if they will accept certain “adult” words and this one clearly has some limitations. When I have the letters on the board for a word that will give me a blank tile or potentially reveal much needed letters in the hidden phrase, preventing me from using that word due to unnecessary censorship detracts from the gameplay..OnedillionmollarsVersion: 1.0.1

Mistake!I would have given this game 5 stars but I found an error in it. In the category Authors & Books, thete’s an error in the Ernest Hemmingway puzzle. One of the puzzles included an extra letter that did not belong. The answer “The Old Mand And The Sea” should be “The Old Man And The Sea”. I know it’s only 1 letter but it does make the puzzle confusing for the players. Other than this error, it’s a great game! Great fun once the crashing is fixedI like this game because it utilizes word search strategy (tiles move when letters are used so you have to find a word to make but also keep in mind what will shift once that word is made) and you get to pick from suggested topics. It is like Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Trivial Pursuit, and WordFul have been combined into just one game. Great but could use improvementsI love the concept of this game but one issue I have is the categories. While I like the idea of being able to pick what I want to do, I would love to have all of the categories split up where we can select a certain category and complete all puzzles in it, rather than spinning for a new one. Fun game but rewards system needs workI am enjoying this game quite a bit. In fact it is becoming addictive. However, my biggest complaint is the method for awarding bonus stars. A quick solve is not rewarded appropriately. For example, I think that if you are able to complete a puzzle in say, within three of an allowed twelve moves, the rewards should reflect that and give the remaining nine as the bonus star quantity. Advertising gone wildGreat game, but as of today there is some ad that continually pops up during play. It’s a small banner ad on the bottom that seems to cycle every 5 seconds or so and covers the entire screen. Great idea with a few bugsI really like this game but I found the hint part very annoying. I didn’t need the hints at all. Also the ads made my iPad keep freezing up and I couldn’t get out of the ad without rebooting. This happened so often I had to finally delete the game. None of my other games did this. Fun game with a huge, annoying flaw!Really enjoy the finding of words in a grid, and solving the phrase puzzles. However, the “hint” feature is unnecessary and grossly distracting. My favorite part of the game is finding the best possible words. It’s not timed, but if no word is entered very quickly, hints (or suggestions) keep popping up...always short and dull words easily found by oneself...which I find insulting and annoying. Love the game, BUT...Game frequently freezes or crashes, and often opens off centre, and with only about half of the game visible. When you get famous couples and you complete the puzzle it hangs(freezes) and you need to close the app to get to the next puzzle. Because their are 12 puzzles per category you have to close the game 11 times in order to continue. When you finish the last puzzle in the category it goes back to normal. This would be fun except...The program keeps going black and has to be turned off cleared off my phone and restarted. In the category for famous people I tried to solve one by guessing Johnny Depp. Not hard to spell but once entered it told me I was wrong. After the next attempt which told me I was wrong I continued thinking I was way off. By the way my spelling was accurate. I played on and with only one letter missing, the Second P in Depp, I pushed the solve button and it finally took the answer. Keep in mind, I’m not saying that I don’t ever make mistakes and hit the wrong button on the keyboard but I did not this time. Once it didn’t accept the first try to solve I double checked my spelling and it was spot on. I would say this game needs a lot of work to fix bugs. Please Help!I’ve been playing this game every morning, along with several other Mobility games, as part of my “get my brain up and running” session. Until recently, that is. I’ve reached puzzle #1974, and have enjoyed the various themes made available for my choice. Until they weren’t made available any more. The last 31 times I’ve completed a theme and should have had choice of a new theme, I was limited to choosing either “Places” or “1990’s.” In fact, the last 10 times, I wasn’t given a choice. The windows said “Theme 1” and “Places.” Tapping “Theme 1” got no response, so those last ten times I played “Places.” As a final frustration, now the theme never completes. Every puzzle that comes up is “The Eiffel Tower in Paris.” Scout’s honor. I’ve finally given up. All I play is the daily puzzle. I tell you sincerely that Word Search has been my favorite word puzzle until these bizarre things started occurring. I surely hope you can straighten this out. Oh, one more thing: I’ve intermittently had the black screen problem that other players have mentioned. Not lately, though. That $0.99-$1.99 option is something that needs to be considered for the future. Developer Spelling Error!I’ve been playing this game for a week now and have found a spelling error. I am in the category “Famous U.S Cities” and the answer is obviously San Francisco, California. By move #2 I knew what the answer was. I tried 5+ times completing the puzzle until I started to lose my mind. The app kept saying my answer was wrong. I even had my husband check my spelling and he saw it was correctly spelled. By move 15, I finally saw the issue.. THE APP SPELLED CALIFORNIA WRONG! The app spelled California like this, “ Califorina” Pretty ironic a word game can’t spell.. I did not receive a second star because of the developers error. Major battery hog!!I’ve been playing Mobilityware’s version of solitaire for years. This game popped up in one of its ads, looked fun, so I gave it a try and have been playing for about a week. First complaint, this isn’t like Wheel of Fortune style. If you get a correct letter, it will not reveal ALL of that same letter in the puzzle, which is a ploy to cause you to make more moves. But the worst problem of all is battery usage. To say this app is a battery drain is a huge understatement. I just finished playing for 5-10 minutes and it literally drained my battery about 25%. It’s like that every time I play. It’s so bad, it’s not worth using, so I’ll have to delete an otherwise decent game..Tab1075Version: 1.0.1

It was awesome at firstI'm the beginning ok was absolutely addicted. I really enjoy word games and loved that I got to choose my categories. I'm currently level 2030. I was happy until the last 25 categories or so. I no longer have a choice is places or nothing. This game has quickly gone from being my favorite game and me telling everyone about it, to being boring and more often than not I only open it to play the daily puzzle. I'm very disappointed in how this turned out and I'm seriously considering just deleting the game. New update crapI’ve been using this app for at least a year, never had issues, but the update that was recently done is awful. The game freezes every time I Hit submit after the daily puzzle and for a normal level. Yesterday there was no daily reward/gift but then today there is yet no new update. Please fix at its very annoying to exit out the game after solving a puzzle every time. Was a great game before the update. Think there is a bug in the update.
