Imprint: Visual Micro Learning App Comments & Reviews

Imprint: Visual Micro Learning Positive Reviews

I am LOVING this app!I am a lifelong sufferer of ADD/ADHD, and I absolutely love the format of the materials in this app. It’s somewhat similar to other apps that condense down the important points of featured books, but in a MUCH more engaging and appealing manner. I tend to get bored quickly when reading, so I usually avoid it altogether (even in condensed format), but the way it’s presented in this app just seems to work for me. I really like all the infographics that are presented along with the text - it makes it more visually interesting, and having the infographics combined with the written text makes it feel like less of a chore to read the information that’s presented in text form. I also really like that there’s little “quizzes”/knowledge checks along the way, which help to see if you understood the material, as well as to help reinforce important points. For me, that seems to help drive home the important points much more than just reading alone. My only “complaint” is that it seems like maybe the app might be pretty new, and is still developing content for the app. For example, I started a course in the app called “The Science of Happiness”, and after reaching a certain point, I got a message that the next module isn’t available at this time. I’m not sure if that’s because the app is intentionally slowing me down/keeping me from progressing too quickly, or if that content is still being developed. It would be nice to get some sort of better/clearer error message that gives me some indication of when that content is expected to be available - especially since it was a featured course in the app, and that’s why I started it to begin with. Other than that, no complaints - keep up the good work!.Version: 4.4.4

Need help w an exit strategy/divorceI don’t think I’m in immediate danger but after verbal confirmation from husband that he’s on my side, I found texts on his phone to sam, dad, jan (step-mom) and friend sarah that his beliefs aren’t in line w my core values and beliefs, spirituality and isn’t mindful of my own wellbeing as his wife (partner). I would like to help him even tho I am so upset and sickened by his behavior- Matthew Dean Carter has maunchhauser (however u spell it) by proxy. He is the one that kept me in the psych unit longer bc of his own mental illness & guilt. Text book emotional abuse, abuse of power- I didn’t know the sequence of events of the unit and still confused who was who but I knew if I kept going I’d learn about myself, how to help myself, how to love myself again! Matthew is playing devil’s advocate bc of his deep religious traumas and I have triggered matthew by sharing my own personal feelings and beliefs. He’s keeping me isolated, he physically can’t live wo me(i wanted to help him too but had to help myself first!). He still is being manipulative, defensive and turning his trauma trigger finger back at me and that it’s all in my head and I should of went somewhere longer! I do agree w that at least…I need a safe way out but to also extend my love & kindness even to the neutral or negative people in my life(learned that yesterday in therapy w Brando). ooof I feel sooooo sickened by his actions and behaviors! What’s the next safe step you’d recommend? just pack up and leave ? Matthew has never been physically abusive but this is textbook emotional abuse and honestly my new fav- abuse of power by a man who is suppose to love and protect me….not keep me locked up & sick!!!!!.Version: 4.5.16

Great way to cram but always rememberThis app not only gets straight to the point in the lessons. The format they use keeps it simple and straight to the point. I was able to learn what I thought would’ve been complicated concepts, had I read about them the traditional way, quickly and easily. Unlike cramming the information is retained, I’m not going to forget 80% of the information I was able to learn, instead I’m going to remember these concepts for a longtime and be able to apply them effectively because of how they were presented and made simple to understand. I recommend this app to anyone and everyone. I’ve been trying to understand stocks and investment concepts on my own and until today I just couldn’t understand any of it. Todays lessons on indexes and how to properly invest have been such an eye opener. I actually felt like I should’ve u SEATO’s these concepts already but traditional learning materials like textbooks or even titles like how to invest just make things complicated for the average Joe to understand. This app however made it to easy to grasp these concepts that I now feel confident that I can invest my money in stocks and not end up losing my life’s savings. Regardless of the subject however this app can make any subject simple to understand especially by the way it presents the information. I hope they continue to expand there subject matter because this is the future of learning here. I believe if they add audio for those who struggle to read or even video to make it more engaging that they can tackle tougher subjects like computer science or artificial intelligence, mathematics etc. I never leave such an extensive review on any app, this is how you know I really love this app and believe in it. Great job guys in developing this application, I really do hope it grows in subject matter and functionality.Version: 4.5.29

I find myself craving time with this appI’ve always laughed at the “I never write reviews, but…” reviews. Well here’s karma, because it’s my turn. I don’t write many reviews (at all) but I am so happy with Lucid that I had to. The content is first-rate, the visuals and storyboarding work well for my ADHD self, the format is intuitive, the layout clean, the quizzes incredibly helpful, and like one review said… this has replaced my doom-scrolling of social media with valuable learning and growth. I crave this app. And I love it’s iPad friendly, too… makes reading so much more enjoyable. Side note: help is fantastic… I reached out over synching issues and the response was A+ from a genuinely helpful and concerned team. This is a great way to get the key concepts from the most relevant titles of our time… and if one really hits a home-run with you… it’s quite the test drive before you buy the full book. I can’t begin to count how many apps I delete after the trial period, so this is out of my norm… my trial period is up tomorrow… and I’m all-in for the full version. Test Lucid and really dive in… you’ll be glad you did..Version: 3.5.31

Frustrating screen orientation on iPadI absolutely love what this app does but I can’t believe that in 2023 you can’t allow the screen to reorient on the ipad, which means it’s for iPhone and not for iPad. Many of us do our reading on our iPad but because the app doesn’t allow the screen to re-orient when I use my iPad in the horizontal position like a laptop (which is 100 percent of the time), I have to hold my iPad vertically or prop it up. I find myself deciding not to do my imprint readings at coffee shops, etc. because this is extremely awkward and the iPad gets quite heavy if I have to hold it that way for long and impossible if I’m juggling coffee, etc. When you make the next update, can’t you please add a genuine ipad version so that I can use it? Seriously, on most iOS development apps, this is literally accomplished by clicking on a checkbox before compiling. As I say, I love the app but if you can’t put out an iPad friendly version then I am going to end my subscription once the freebie week is over. Once that happens, I won’t be back as there are other more iPad friendly options out there. I really would like Imprint the best if it weren’t for this limitation that is basically developer imposed..Version: 4.0.7

Help PerspectiveI'm not a social media junkie but in todays world yes we need some of the technologies to do our jobs keep up with loved ones etc. But the simple fact is it was called the Boob tube as far back as I can remember! Now we have a Boobtube on our wrists on our computers we literally have these walking talking devices that can go everywhere. We rob ourselves of the simple things n life like nature, being in it, listening to the birds. This is a perfect way to learn different interests and get something back from your time on whatever device your on. I always have said that education is our most powerful tool, any day I can learn something new even a new word of the day is a good day! Being a nurse I know the capabilities our brains can accomplish and it's so far more powerful but we don't even use a fraction of it. I say well if God gave it to me I should use it like it's any other part of my body, stretch it expand it this app does just that !.Version: 3.5.39

Loving it so farI love the bite sized lessons! For me, Imprint solves: - I never have enough time to read as much as I would like to. - As much as I love reading, there's a lot of time wasted in unnecessary details or "filler" content for ideas that are great but could be conveyed in a fraction of words. - This allows me to explore a lot more topics that I might not otherwise because I can leisurely jump around without committing a lot of time to it. As for constructive feedback, some notes: - Sources and a link to "learn more" would be greatly appreciated. I had to spend a lot of time trying to find the research studies mentioned just based on the few data points provided. - Push notifications don't seem to work. I'd like to have daily reminders, or a widget. Duolingo's reminders, for example, are quite effective. - When both the image and the text changes, the image changing is a strong visual cue that draws all the attention. The text change, on the other hand, doesn't "look" like it changed, so I find myself straining to check whether the text actually changed and that distracts from the content. This is specially jarring due to the fact that the lesson experience is otherwise so natural and intuitive. I'd suggest changing one at a time (eg text disappears when image changes, then add new text on next card). Overall this is an excellent app and I absolutely love and appreciate the value proposition. Great work!.Version: 4.5.17

Age rating needs to be changed or ads before each unitBefore anyone reads this I haven’t REALLY used the app because I wasn’t able to but I’m going to explain why even though I’m sure this is a great app! So I’m a little older than 12 and I downloaded the app. I was really excited because I looked at some reviews and they said it was amazing! However when I got it I didn’t know that you had to pay, and I’m someone who has no job because a little older than 12. I’m kinda disappointed and I think there should be an age change or like a way to watch an ad before each unit. I’m sure this is a great app, I’m just disappointed I can’t use it without paying. Even if I do the free trial there will be no point because I won’t be able to pay for the actual trial. Which is just sad. So again either change the age rating or a way for there to be ads before each unit please 🙏🥲.Version: 4.6.30

Great AppTo be honest, I’m quite fond of Imprint, but I have to say I’ve never been fond of apps that let you sign up and THEN ask for money. Just make the app purchased upfront or subscriptive at the same time as signup. It’s not that it’s completely unaffordable, but at the price it’s asking, there should be some sort of free option or something. What I’m saying is most people won’t choose this over Netflix, and subscriptions add up. That’s just my opinion. The app itself is phenomenal. Now that I’ve paid for it, I will probably continue to pay for it, but I can see how that price point may be a challenge for some people. All in all, I’m maintaining a 5-star rating of it due to the value of the application itself. I hope the developers—who probably know much more about their own finances than I ever could—will find enough success to consider a more accessible price moving forward..Version: 4.4.2

Incredible!!Do yourself a favor and download this app - seriously! While the subscription is pricey (currently $99 annual or $15 monthly), it's absolutely worth it. With ADHD, learning is incredibly difficult. I love trying new ways to learn, and have never had as much success as I have with this app. And it was immediate success!! Its very engaging and the topics are interesting and valuable. One of my favorite parts is that it has accountability built in that will ACTUALLY WORK. You can sign up for courses (mine is 15 min a day for 7 days) and you have to schedule a time do it a day in advance and can auto add to your calendar. If you miss your scheduled time, you lose access to the course and get locked out. The only way back in is to contact the app support team. Talk about motivation!!! No more pushing learning on the back burner because I feel too busy when the reminder pops up - I love it!!.Version: 4.1.4

Imprint: Leaving Its Mark on the Attention EconomyThis app is truly a game-changer. Like most people nowadays, I find myself scrolling Instagram or TikTok more than I’d like to admit. Enter Imprint. It takes the same short-form content format, but instead of pure engagement bait, it distills real published works into digestible lessons that fit our fast-paced lives. Less brain rot, more brain growth. For anyone looking to get back on track, Imprint is a genuine stepping stone. Haven’t picked up a book in years? Start here. The lessons are engaging, and the built-in review as you go through the chapters really helps the material stick. What pushed this review over the top, though, is the customer service. I reached out with a few questions and heard back in under 12 hours with thorough, helpful answers. That kind of responsiveness is rare and worth celebrating. Great app. I hope to see it grow..Version: 5.2.1

My favorite appI never write reviews, but I just had to come on here and rave about Lucid. I love learning, I’m a creative and very visual person, and also I have ADHD. Lucid is an absolute dream. Lucid communicates such digestible and enjoyable content, I have to remind myself to slow down and let the information I just learned sink in and process before moving onto a new subject! From practical learning to philosophical and everything in between, I absolutely love learning with Lucid. I have already started taking some of what I’ve learned and incorporated it into my work every day and wow, I just can’t say enough good things about this app. If you love learning and have very diverse interests but never enough time to learn about all of them, this is the perfect app for you. Also premium is worth the money if you can swing it. It’s the best subscription I’m paying for right now..Version: 3.5.16

Fun and impactfulThis app has come SO FAR. Revisiting it recently and I’m blown away by the quality of content (it’s not easy to distill books into their essential learnings), the joy of progressing through the content (the visualizations make it more enjoyable and memorable), and the reinforcing mechanism of the daily quizzes to “imprint” these lessons into your mind and build new habits. The “Be Productive” path is awesome - I have to pace myself to make sure I spend enough time with each book and lock in key messages with the quizzes before moving on to new concepts. For books I’ve read, the quality of the content gives me confidence in the accuracy and quality of new material I consume this way. The ability to save key content and easily access it later aids the retention. Some of these visualizations were so good they’re printed out and hanging on the wall next to my desk. Some suggestions that would make me experience even better: 1. Longer quizzes - I appreciate the brevity of five question quizzes, but think 10 (or even more) questions would help us lock in the key messages even more effectively. Invest in building out the question bank - it’s such a powerful tool. I’d love the option to do them twice a day as well. 2. Make it easier to jump back into the middle of a read book/chapter - there are cases where I finish a book or chapter and want to go back as I missed the opportunity to save a page for later review. The normal path forces you to page thru all the way from the beginning. Only recently did I find you could exit out to “library” tab and select specific chapters to jump back into a book. Feels like “going back” once a chapter/book is finished should be easier..Version: 4.0.2

Ruined my escape from information overloadWhen I first tried this app a couple years ago it was like I could exhale because I wasn’t bombarded by all the chaos of social media. We just got back to a place where I can afford the premium subscription again, but sadly I came back to an app that has “XP” animations after each book section - I have no idea what this is or what the numbers mean!? Nor do I know (or care) what the point of all the badges are. And now I have to zig zag through a graphic to get to each book section, and things are organized by “courses” instead of simply by books. I am sure there are many people that find this enticing, but I really wish there was a way to turn all of that off (at least the “XP”). It’s an awesome idea that feels like it’s just become too gamified..Version: 4.6.28

… All I can say is: WOW!I’m trying the 7 day free trial and I am blown away so far. SO ENGAGING! I’ve always been the type that learned better with visuals and short bursts of useful information. This nails it!!! My favorite part? I’ll be reading something awesome and I think… gee this would really help this person in my life… AND THEN IT LETS ME SHARE WHAT IM READING WITH SOMEONE EVEN IF THEY DONT HAVE TO APP!!! Literally - SO COOL! Huge fan so far! Keep it up you guys! Add the 10X Rule by Grant Cardone as soon as you can please! Rich dad Poor dad by Robert kiosaki would be good, and The One Thing by Gary Keller!! My only complaint would be the emphasis on social issues and topics that seem to be found in here… can we keep it to the greatest books and ideas of all time please? Let’s keep politics and social issues out of it!!!.Version: 3.4.5

Often buggy and frozen, but nice when it worksI would be tolerant of some bugs in a free app, but I’m paying for the subscription and haven’t been able to use the app in a couple days because it’s frozen when I open it. Prior to this, the daily quiz doesn’t always appear and there isn’t a good way to find it in the app. Often, to keep reading a book I started, I have to dig back through my library to find it, because it disappears from the home page. Many of the book contents are nice ways to get the gist of the idea - kind of like watching a 20 minute synopsis presentation of the book. Lots of popular nonfiction books available. They don’t cover all of the key takeaways you would get if you read the actual book, but if you’re interested there’s a link to the full book at the end of each one in the app..Version: 3.5.25

Neurodivergent Friendly and EducationalI love that this app offers unconventional types of “books” to learn from in a simple way. The graphics aren’t overwhelming and the information comes in bite sized chunks. It is not very common for me to pick up reading materials this way, let alone retain the information. For that reason, I went ahead and bought a year subscription. I was hoping to see a more expansive library but I think that will come with time. It would be amazing to see a certificate program come from this. As I said before, I have issues with learning in the traditional sense and this app has been super helpful. It would also be cool to have sweeping categories to get lost in like a Wikipedia page. 🤓 And maybe some sound effects. Well see how this anual subscription goes!.Version: 4.6.34

Love this app !!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Imprint has quickly become one of my favorite apps. It turns deep ideas from philosophy, psychology, and self-growth into beautiful, flowing visual stories that actually stick with you. The smooth animations and aesthetic design make learning feel calm and effortless instead of overwhelming. As someone who gets drained by long walls of text, I love how the elegant slides and striking illustrations help concepts land gently. I find myself opening it during quiet late-night moments and walking away with meaningful insights that linger. If you’re a visual learner craving something prettier and deeper than typical summaries, Imprint feels like a gentle friend guiding you through big ideas. Highly recommend — it’s been my soft escape and daily spark of inspiration. 🖤.Version: 5.1.11

Great App! Streaks are demotivatingI personally find the streaks a little disappointing because daily is really hard. But even showing it in a 2D calendar view like github/duolingo would give me so much more motivation and discipline! It actually hurts to be forcefully reminded that I’m on day one. That’s my most difficult obstacle with using the app. Please stop calling it day especially if we’ve been putting in work semi-daily, weekly, etc. Otherwise, I love the animations, cards, save feature, chapters, etc. Amazing app, but no evidence of progress unless I do it EVERY DAY? I’m gonna miss a few days, but having it show that I’ve done it for 10 days in the last month? That’d be so much better for discipline/motivation than ONLY the disheartening 💔 reset to day 1 streak reminder every day or two..Version: 4.2.9

All visual learners out there…If you’re anything like me, traditional reading and memorization methods just don’t click with your brain. I only realized later in life that I’m a visual learner. Enter Imprint… This app is truly remarkable. Despite hesitating due to the price, I took the plunge after reading numerous reviews and seeking advice. Imprint tailors a plan for you based on simple questions about your interests and goals. It’s astounding how much material it can pack into a short 5-minute session. What’s even cooler is that you don’t fully grasp how much you’ve learned until after completing a chapter. I highly recommend Imprint for anyone struggling to retain information from reading. It has completely revolutionized my learning experience..Version: 4.5.1

A wonderful alternative to the “mindless scroll”I am not a fan of any apps except this one, really. When I became depressed last year my first change was to remove social media from my phone and it was a game changer. Screen addiction haunts us all, though, and after a long day we all need some time to unwind. This app allows me to do just that and simultaneously fly through books I wouldn’t have the time or energy to read in their entirety. Instead of feeling crappy about my hour of phone time before bed I actually feel really good about it! I am thrilled these developers put such time and intentionality into solving a very real problem in modern society. I will recommend this to everyone I know!.Version: 3.4.26

Huge fan - for readers who don’t always rememberI love reading and learning. I’m the type to highlight everything I find interesting so I can remember...but still struggle to remember all the valuable information I read. Lucid is SUCH a brilliant app - helps you spend time on key book concepts in a visual way, so you have more chances of remembering what you learn. There’s also a quick interactive recap / quiz at the end to train your brain and avoid just a passive experience. It made me realize that the key to memory is taking a more active role in your intellectual consumption. Lucid does just that. Thank you, this app seems to be the answer to one of my biggest needs 🙏🙏🙏 Grateful!! Ps. Also UX/UI and graphics are super slick. Hope the team can sustain the production long term!.Version: 3.0.3

Amazing app to avoid social mediaI never leave reviews but imprint has blown me away in how they put complex subject in fun small “summaries” without being overwhelming and without being too bland. Imprint hits the spot when it comes to grabbing your attention as soon as you open any of the lessons. I did the free trial first and I’m definitely planning to get the full version soon. I hope they keep coming out with new lessons for anatomy! For nursing students like me that suffer with adhd it would be a perfect way to learn complex subjects. Regardless, I’ve loved every single lesson for history & business so far! Would recommend for anyone looking to replace doom scrolling and enrich the mind instead..Version: 4.6.2

Great concept, bad appConcept is great, but lacking very basic things: 1) search button. seriously no search button? 🙂 2) tab with current book that I’m listening or reading. they are many people like me, when you start reading/listing some book but them decided to switch to another one, but still want to continue some time. in progress tab should be different than saved tab in my view, or at least split by two section, “saved for later” and “in progress”. 3) when you started to read book, and later on when you come back, you must continue to read and you cant play it instead? why 😩 4) why can’t I listen and look at the slides at the same time? I find it extremely good when book is playing and in parallel I can look at pictures for visualization. I figured it out how to do it, but this should be in app functionality 😉 5) program extremely extremely laggy, at least on my iphone X, and my ipad pro 2nd generation keeps crushing, maybe it is better on latest devices 🤷🏻‍♂️ if all that fixed, this would be best abstract reading/listing app, and it would definitely worth pay for subscription, for now I’m not sure if I’m going to extend mine, too much hustle.Version: 3.5.10

Not awful I supposeI feel like information was dumbed down to the point that it was either almost incorrect or actually hard to understand. I "read" the first chapter of 3 books and noted that this wasn't for me but, for those with minimal knowledge on said subjects, it might be a useful tool. I'm used to reading textbooks and sifting through tough material so it could just be I'm not used to this kind of setup. I was hoping that it'd be more in depth. However if you have limited background, say for example you're a business person reading the book - astrophysics in a hurry, it might be useful to you in a beginner level. Not really recommended for intermediate+, like say a business person wanting to further knowledge in anything about business..Version: 3.4.13

Lacking Course ContentsI love the Imprint app and have been using it regularly for almost 2 years now. I’m very fond of the courses it offers and often find myself scanning and tapping through multiple courses trying to find out which course had particular information. I often want to share Imprint with others and show a particular example from a course but have to go through each course topic one by one just to find it only to lose momentum in a conversation. Or scanning through all the saved bits I have but they’re scattered. This is feature request for implementation of course contents within the app. I think it would be beneficial to click/tap on a course and find out what it’s about, things the course covers and what books it pulls information from. I think this would be very useful before tackling a course and realizing what we’re diving into. And also for the saved / favorited sections to be easier to navigate graphically , it would help with sharing Imprint with others who also struggle with sharing the wonders your app has to offer. Please take this into consideration and hopefully fruition. Best, A dedicated fan.Version: 5.1.6

Awesome app!Got the free trial and I love it so far. I have apps like this that summarize books for you like headway, but this one is better for my learning style. I like the visualization aspect of it, and instead of scrolling forever with social media. I have been getting on here instead and growth scrolling. I have been using it for business, but I’m pretty sure there are a lot of other topics on here as well. Check out the free trial and see if it’s right for you. I might buy a year of it. My time is limited and books can be expensive and if you’re a slow reader time consuming. This will be a good way to save some time, and still get the golden nuggets from the material..Version: 4.6.2

Saving me!So i recently have joined the Army. I’m under a ton of stress. My boyfriend passed away about 2 weeks ago. I’m struggling a lot and i don’t like to ask for help. This app has really helped me gather my thoughts and ground me back to my body and mind. I have a new perspective on how I want to live my life and move forward…live in the moment. Thank you to the creators for providing such a great tool with wonderful views and studies on so many helpful topics. I hold this app dearly to me. It helps me a lot at night when I’m tossing and turning in my thoughts. I left a comment if you could add some topics on grief and loss It would really mean a lot to me as well as others. Keep up the good work with this app :).Version: 4.1.3

Excellent content but can use UI/ UX improvementsThank you team for putting together this wonderful nuggets of lessons and learnings. You have truly made consuming this content fun and more likely for my memory to retain. I wish to see the following UX improvements if you can: 1. Responsiveness of the app to iPad landscape mode - Why? There is a segment of people who like to read information/ books like how they read a regular book. Also deciding weather to hold the iPad vertically or horizontally is the first decision a user makes and it’s important to not make them revise their decision because the app is not responsive. 2. Ability to save the nuggets offline- I often read when I’m in the plane (like many) when there is no network. It is disappointing that lucid doesn’t download the whole nugget so it’s a wasted opportunity when you can gain some “hrs” from the user on your app 3. Getting to know the person who summarized/ visualized the key ideas- A little intro about the person and the ability to thank them for putting together a wonderful nugget will go a long way in keeping the user value each nugget more and your team appreciated..Version: 3.5.21

Love the appNever written a review but I just had to say how much I like this app. Originally had the free trial and forgot to cancel but actually thankful that I did and now have premium. Before imprint, I found myself scrolling on social media way too much and was frustrated that I have such little attention span to learn. So I set a timer on the app and now use the urge to scroll for imprint! This has been such a nice little stepping stone to building healthier habits. It’s not intimidating as I usually get starting big books so I think this will help me narrow down on subjects I want to learn more about!! I really do enjoy the visuals and summaries and hoping there will be a lot more! Def worth the money..Version: 4.0.7

Best app everIt is so beneficial to society it’s not even funny, we can grow so much intellectually and so much faster if this app was widely advertised and used among more people! I swear I have never given an app more respect and dedication and I actually set aside time to use this app daily and I have never done that with an app before. I promise it is worth every 100$! Think about how cheap that is relative to what your begging for it?!? It’s insane! Hundreds (I think it is thousands actually but j incase I’m like 50/50 on which one it is) but hundreds to thousands of books that are easily understood I think a 13 year old would get how they explain some of these text. It is so awesome and so worth it!.Version: 3.4.15

Very Pleasantly SurprisedI’m one of those “I never write a review” folks. Also, for years have rejected summary / idea distillation platforms out of hand because I had seen them dumb down critical information in ways that are not productive. Lucid, IMO, is a game changer in this regard. Thoughtful graphics and focus on discrete (but very clearly connected) ideas makes it a compelling way to both learn new ideas and also decide if you want to invest precious time in a book. The psychology of focusing on discrete information blocks is well known and the app creators/ product team / devs / everyone else involved has 100% killed it. Best App Store money I’ve spent in a very long time!.Version: 2.7.0

Great Potential, Poor ValueI used this app everyday during my trial so I think I gave it a fair shake. I honestly really liked this app and think it has great potential. The positives: The courses I began using were interesting and I felt like they were the perfect balance of detail and general information to give you a good introduction to the subjects. I felt like I learned something but didn’t waste my time getting into the weeds of something i didn’t quite understand or frankly even care about. I’m a visual leaner and typically sketch my notes so I liked the implementation of graphics. The app interface is fresh and exciting, I do think the developers are on the right track with this app. Now, for the downsides: First of all, and most importantly, I truly don’t believe the app is currently worth the subscription cost. I say currently because I can easily see this changing in the future. But at the moment there just isn’t enough content on this app to make it worth the $100/year price tag. Especially considering that most of the courses/articles seem to focus on similar themes of self help and productivity which aren’t my primary interests (I’m more interested in the psychology and history sections). From the content I really want to explore I can see myself getting through all of it in less than the year. To be fair, I think a lot of effort goes into creating this content so I can see why the price is so high. Additionally, I think the app needs a little more work on organizing courses you’ve started and are actively reading. Overall, I really do like the app and I would even pay for it were the price lower or a tiered subscription model introduced. I absolutely see the benefits of the app and if they continue developing I can see myself returning to it one day..Version: 4.5.3

.Talk about getting your wings clipped. Obviously nothing is free, but when a person is looking to better their mental health, selecting all the prompts to get you to your lesson. Then a pop up “anxiety is a bad habit” but to know why you must pay. That really doesn’t help the “bad habit” . Reasonable price, possibly for those who want to better their financial knowledge . Probably not the best for those who just want to better their mental health. On a lighter note the good thing is that the payments can be recurring so one can feel safe about getting a “bad habit” attack if they forget to pay their bill. I’m sure it’s a good app though . Four stars because it got me motivated , not five because I don’t fully know if works as it promotes itself..Version: 4.5.5

Too expansiveGreat content but just too crazy in pricing.Version: 3.4.2

Helpful customer serviceWhile I don’t use the app, the customer service team was really helpful when I accidentally purchased a one year subscription. Jeff really helped put my mind at ease. 👍🏼.Version: 3.2.9

Great concept but limited books and too expensiveLove the idea and honestly would have considered paying for a membership, but the pricing is way too high to make sense..Version: 3.1.6

Really good but a couple of improvementsThis app is amazing. It has paths for every single skill a person wants to excel in. Mental health, business, organization, whatever you need, this all probably has it. Plus the lessons are not only bit-sized and digestible, they come packed with fun little illustrations to keep you engaged. This app is amazing. A couple of issues though. One, the prices are REALLY high. I know there’s a lot of content, but it is like really high. Me personally though, I consider it worth the purchase. Secondly, I think it would be good if the developers added a “night mode.” I usually use this app at night, and the white glare really hurts my eyes. So I think it would be good if they added a night mode that could allow the user to change it from day to night manually or have it operate on a sunrise/sunset timer. Other than those two things, I love this app. Totally worth it..Version: 4.1.10

Gorgeous, but overpricedThough this app is really well done, I just can’t abide by the astronomical price. I understand that creating individualized graphics for each book takes time and money, but there are only about 50 titles in the app right now (May 2021) and I can easily get through a full book in under half an hour. That doesn’t give me nearly enough content to justify the high subscription price. I used it for the trial and loved it, but sadly couldn’t see myself continuing when I know I’ll run through every title in the span of a few months. If they cut the price in half, I might consider it, but even that is asking a lot of customers for a low time-to-spend ratio value. Beautiful graphics and console summaries are amazing, but the value proposition just is t there at this time. Hopefully they can adjust this as I’m sure it’s keeping many people from actively subscribing..Version: 3.4.3

Very poor libraryThe concept is great but the library is too limited for the price you charge. Honestly CAD 125 per yr is too much for what you can offer..Version: 3.4.13

Fix itThe app is great but the pricing is crazy high. I’d gladly subscribe if it were adjusted reasonably down at least for students..Version: 3.0.2

Amazing App but overpricedWhile the idea and execution is great the expensive pricing model and limited library needs work..Version: 2.7.3

Nice AppJust way too steep for pricing. Cannot justifying that per month…..Version: 4.2.8

Great but slightly overpricedThe quality of summaries as well as the visualizations are amazing. But due to its current limited library (Sep ‘23), $20 per month is slightly expensive..Version: 4.2.6

PriceIf people are willing to pay for this then keep your prices the same, honestly I think you’d have a higher return on investment by lowering subscription costs and having a larger customer base..Version: 4.2.4

Worth every pennyI took a risk and subscribed and im using this app more than any other. Makes me look forward to my day and excited for my next read Excellent book selections , very well designed. Top marks..Version: 4.1.4

$$$Think this is a great app idea, can’t justify the cost.Version: 4.1.6

Charged doubleI was charged $51 CAD for a $19.99 monthly subscription purchase.. what’s going on here?.Version: 4.0.7

Great app just over pricedBeen on the free trial for a couple days and have learned more about topics that i have been researching for weeks now. There is just not enough about specific topics to make it worth 130$ a year.Version: 4.0.13

Learning every dayFun app to learn new things everyday, two minutes a day.Version: 5.2.2

Beautiful app, but…Buggy and overpriced. The graphics are absolutely beautiful, no complaints there. However, I experienced a ton of bugs. After getting the latest update, all my reading/completed progress was wiped. Annoying, but I thought it would be a one time thing. There was a title that crashed the app for me when it reached a certain point. Sometimes the app would not recognize the free trial and only relaunching would work. Then, for seemingly no reason, my progress would be wiped every time the app was relaunched. The premium titles were still available but my saved cards/reading/completed would reset to nothing every time the app was closed. I tried deleting and reinstalling, but the only thing that did was cancel my trial altogether. This was all in the period of my free trial. I was thinking of getting the monthly subscription after the trial but I give up..Version: 3.5.24

Good content, but overpricedI love the app and the content, but it’s too expensive for the small amount of content offered, especially when you consider you can only read on an iPhone, not an iPad..Version: 3.4.33

Great app but very expensive. The app is vey well done. Great summaries for books using visual cues. However, very expensive monthly and yearly prices. Will use it for trial period then will cancel. Will consider subscribing if current yearly price less than half..Version: 3.4.13

RefreshingIt’s nice to use my brain again to learn something new after years of routine since being in school. This app allows me to do it in a way that fits my busy lifestyle..Version: 5.2.0

Astonishing & useful appI’ve tried many learning apps, but Imprint genuinely stands out. You can clearly see the incredible amount of work, research, design, and creativity the team invested into every lesson. The visual storytelling, animations, summaries, and bite-sized explanations make complex topics surprisingly easy to understand and remember. It feels like learning in a modern, engaging way instead of passively reading walls of text. A lot of negative reviews focus on the subscription price, but honestly, quality education and thoughtful app development take massive effort. Compared to how much time people spend endlessly scrolling social media and consuming low-value content, this app actually improves your knowledge, focus, and thinking. Visual learning is powerful — it keeps you engaged, improves retention, and makes learning enjoyable again. If you genuinely want to learn and have a real interest in this app, you’ll find a way as I did. I was able to get a great discount on the yearly subscription, and it turned out to be incredible value considering the amount of high-quality content, thoughtful design, and effort packed into the app. When used consistently, it becomes more than just another subscription — it’s an investment in your knowledge, mindset, and personal growth that truly pays off over time. Huge respect to the developers and creators behind this app. It’s one of the few apps on my phone that genuinely feels beneficial instead of draining my time. learning enjoyable again..Version: 5.2.0

I Love It ! #soldThis is what I’ve been looking for! I have adhd and doom scrolling on platforms has been my detriment. I really enjoy learning, and this app has kept me engaged while furthering my knowledge. Reading long studies about theories make my mind drift. I become less engaged. This app has satisfied this need of mine through short clips and little enticing quizzes( sounds nerdy ) that have been giving me my doses of dopamine from learning new things. The app has plenty of different sources with a range of topics that could have potential to expand into more topics that appeals to more people. Love what this is, bring on more neuro games maybe 👀..Version: 5.1.9

Would pay but not at this price pointMight want to rethink how to capture this segment as you are surely leaving a lot of money on the table. I am firmly middle class which your content appeals to but not the price point. Good luck..Version: 5.1.13
