With FACEMOTION3D, you can capture facial expressions with an iOS app and communicate in real time with 3DCG software on your PC. You can also FBX export the recorded animation data.You can also import VRM format files into the iOS app.

This app can create facial animations by communicating in real time with DAZ Studio, Maya, Unity ,UnrealEngine and Blender. In addition, you can bake recorded animations within the iOS app via streaming.
To use it, first start this app, then download and connect the plug-in script add-on used for data examination on the PC side.
Very accurate facial motion capture is very easy to do.
This app is only available on iPhone / iPad with Face ID or iPhone / iPad with A12 Bonic or higher CPU.

* Face ID is not used in the new iPhone SE 2nd generation released in 2020, but you can use FACE MOTION 3D by updating to iOS 14 or later. FACEMOTION3D can be used not only for the 2nd generation of iPhone SE but also when it is equipped with an A12 or later chip and has been updated to iOS14.
The camera image and resulting depth data are only used to send the motion capture data to the user's PC. That data is not saved on the iPhone. You need access to the camera to get depth data from Apple's API.
This application is only used to communicate with PCs in the same network and does not send any information to third parties.

Subscription.I’ve had problems. I have a trial for the Maya subscription, but it doesn’t work 80% of the time. The app automatically goes live and only for ten seconds, despite having the aubscription. The app also crashes when I try switching to maya..Version: 1.3.5

Vbridger uses Unity SubEditing this review because originally I subscribed to other under the impression vbridger would require the other license, only for it not to work. Dev response corrected that misunderstanding so I have changed my review. Now that it works as expected it is pretty smooth and seems to be more accurate than iFacialMocap which I also have been using.Version: 1.2.7
Fantastic app for animation!This has been an incredible app to use for Blender / Unity animations! Be sure to adjust the weight for the different parts of the face (eyes, lips, etc) to get that perfect facial animation recording. Dev is very responsive and works hard to make the app great! Hard to make work but it does workI got really frustrated as out of nowhere body rotation stopped working, there was no indication as to why but I ultimately was able to fix it by renaming the bones and removing punctuation from it. It’s expensive but not a lot of apps can stream directly into your Unity app..Version: 1.2.9
Random stops in connectionSeems I been running into issues with this application randomly stopping with the connection. I normally have to close out then reopen it to make it reconnect to the software on the computer..Version: 1.3.6

Pretty goodUsing for 2 mouth, happy with the app but 2 issues: 1. Mouth opens too much when talking 2. Can’t capture the words F or V. These issues are annoying . Hopes it get fixed.Version: 1.1.7
Needs more controlsThe software is great for what it is. But for the price of the unlimited recording time I wish they had controls for quantizing frames to a specific frame rate when recording.
