NiceI don't normally write reviews, but one really bothered me! I had seen this game several times and I was trying to find for a while because it looked really fun to play! Obviously I finally found and started playing, but I have uninstalled it after less than 30 mins of play because of the ridiculous amount of ads! At the end of each level you have the option to watch an ad for more coins, but even if you opt not to watch the ad for more coins you still get an ad before the next level! And, even if you watch the ad for more coins, you will also get ads before the next level. The levels are fairly short, and the amount of ad time that have to sit through is often longer than the time it takes to clear a level! Of course if you really love the game you can spend real money to remove the ads. Not worth it in my opinion. I would not recommend this game to anyone unless you don't mind the ads or if you are ok with paying to remove all the ads..H03sl0v3abramVersion: 3.20.0

I really like the game but...Okay so I really am enjoying this game, and I do not mind the ads, but I get to a point in the game where I am thousands of coins away from the next upgrade and I physically cannot get past a level because my upgrades are not strong enough. I lose interest and fun, but I don’t want to stop. Instead, I am trying to get by with 15 coins (after watching an ad) for a bajillion rounds so I can pass the level. Also, I think it defeats the purpose of increasing the amount the grey cylinders when I get the damage upgrade. Damage upgrades should make the game easier, but it doesn’t completely. Great idea but too buggy and unfair adsSo first, this is a really fun game, easy to understand and easy to play for a minute or an hour. It would get five stars.... Except first, as so many other reviews have said, it crashes at the end of a run. That’s not terrible at lower levels, because it’s fun to replay the run and win again. As you get up in levels it’s extremely frustrating to get to the end of a run (with all the BS that entails, see below) and then have the app crash. Again. And again. Second, the ads. Playing a game for free implies that you will watch some ads, and I don’t have a problem with that basic arrangement. It’s totally fair for this game to offer three times the reward if you watch an ad at the end of the run. But I seriously resent being forced to watch an ad after every run, some of which are 15 seconds or longer. It’s quite possible that you will spend more time watching ads than playing. “No ads” for real now!Edit: “No ads” actually means “no ads” now! I can now say that this is a great time-killing game, and definitely worth getting. As I usually do if I decide I like a game, I paid money to get rid of ads. In most games, that gets rid of any ads that you don’t opt into (like playing an ad to unlock the next gun or to multiply how many coins you get for a level). In Gun Gang, though, it only gets rid of the ads between levels—the banner ads stay there. They don’t even just show up at the start of a level—they stay there. If I had known that “no ads” would still leave the annoying banner ads there, I wouldn’t have paid for it. If it weren’t for that, it would be a fun little game, 4-5 stars; but when I pay to get rid of ads, I expect banner ads to be included in that..KrystenDevroVersion: 1.89.0

Finally they got it right!I’m in about my 5th download and it looks like the creators have finally got it right. It used to be that you couldn’t get past level 50 or so because you didn’t have enough power or the blockades had a number to high to blast through, in addition, in order to get more power you had to have thousands and thousands of points in order to upgrade. Now all you need is 1000 or 5000 points for the entirety of the game. I’m at level 90 now with no sign of stopping. With the amount of upgrades I have now I can even blast through rocks and obstacles. It’s almost too easy. But I’d rather have it this way then the other way. You can only go so far......Like many others, I enjoy this game. However, like most others have noted, you will reach a point where you simply can not progress, unless you have the patience of a Buddhist monk. You will be confronted with a round where it is impossible to progress beyond the first barricade, and will therefore only earn you 5 coins (15 if you watch an ad) per each new attempt. However, since you’ll need about 10,000 coins to upgrade your weapon, you can do the math and see how futile the game becomes. Fun game, but...This game is fun and easy to play but unfortunately you get to a point in the levels where you simply cannot go any further. Your guy is too weak to break through the blocks and you don’t have enough coins to power up your rate of fire or firepower. You’re simply stuck. I’ve deleted this game 3 times so I could start over because it is fun, and every time I get into the mid 50s and I simply cannot go any further. Also, the ads! Seriously, give it a rest. It’s a fun little time passing game……But once you max out your weapons, get all the characters, and finish the challenge stages (which has only happened once), that’s it. You can keep “upgrading” your active weapon but it doesn’t really make that much of a difference when you have the “highest tiered” weapon. The zombie/attackers don’t increase or change. With just 6-7 men and the high powered weapons can take out the whole platoon of Zombies/Attackers before they cross the threshold. It’s fun until it’s boring..Nor-EasyVersion: 1.60

Great game to pass the timeI have to say, that you really stepped it up since the last time I had the app on my phone. There have been numerous updates and upgrades to the game. I don’t mind the ads so much as long as it comes with a reward. Only thing I do not like is the ads that come even when you don’t want to watch them. One move thing to improve the game is maybe change up the trail. It’s basically just a straight line with movements to avoid killing the partners. Very fun.....butLots of fun! Eventually there's an issue with the gun upgrades not matching the barrier levels. I reached game level 54. I have watched some ads, usually when I complete the levels to maximize the reward amount. Now I am stuck receiving a maximum of 200 coins, but the minimum upgrade is 17,0000. That puts me playing the level 80 times for one upgrade. I have to admit I bit the bullet and did this once, but I am unwilling to do this again as it made little different. I like the game but the newest update just made it impossible.I like the game, it’s fun. I recently had to uninstall and reinstall the game because when you get to around level 53 you physically cannot afford power ups enough to get through the level. So I reinstall the game and started over again. The June 18Update just made the game even more impossible. My next fire rate upgrade was supposed to cost me around 24,000 coins. After the update it now cost 480,000! You only make 2500ish coins per level! I’m on my second run through of the game, and again it is impossible to get past level 53 the first barrier. Freezes every nightIt’s amazing. The levels are about a minute long, but in between each level there 1-3 30 second long ads. Oh, and they’ll punish you if you don’t watch them! If you close out the game and reopen to save yourself from watching it, it won’t let you back in for the whole rest of the night. My honest opinion as a designerIt’s a take on the classic “Invaders” side scroller shooter game. Very basic control scheme and upgrade system. Two upgrades -Fire Power -Firing Speed The upgrades cost a lot forcing you to watch ads, which you might as well since you have a 75% chance to have an automatic ad after each round. There’s no option besides turning off the vibration, there’s not real challenge to the game what so ever. It’s a shame because I do see a lot of potential to make a good game here but it honestly just reminds me of the games most game designers make their first year of college. It was fun to waste a little time while waiting for my girlfriend to get ready, but honestly I’m not going to return to this game at any point and I’m going to remove it from my phone after writing this review. Has potentialSome feedback. Reduce the number of ads for people that don’t pay. Maybe 1 every 5 levels. Make the end of the level more challenging. Remove all ads if you purchase the option including the bottom and to fight the portal boss. Make the portal boss have weak spots you can target and use the gun power you currently have. This game is great just....It is just the game to go to when you get bored and it’s a fun game to play although i just hate the ads. But overall I love the game. Fun but now glitch plaguedOn lvl 688, still playing but almost every round ends with all shooters aligned and firing off to the left with no targets and no end to the round. Good game to relieve a little stress... Great Game...ButThe game itself is awesome! Lots of opportunities to power up and get bonuses. I could play the game itself for hours. But...this app doesent feel like a game. I am so stuck!!I agree with the other review. I am in the 50s as far as levels and stuck. Just fought to an upgrade and now I am stuck as it did not appear to make much of a change. I guess after 2000 more attempts I may be able to make another upgrade and get through this level. This game is super disappointing...The game is fun until you realize that the bullets barely do any damage and every new additions fires at 1/2 the speed of your upgrade. For me my fire power is 11 but the bullets only do 6 damage. Also I think it’s like level 53 or something that I can’t pass with out more upgrades and it’s annoying since the upgrades are so expensive and I can’t even make that money because I can’t get pass the first barrier and when I do I can’t even break a weaker barrier because of two reason. One being the issue of the low fire damage I previously mentioned and two is because the space between the first barrier and second is not long enough to activate the second member gained. This is extremely frustrating because I would need to play the same five second and watch ads to get about 15-30 coins and then make about 7000 coins for the next upgrade. For those reasons I and deleting this game. I put up with its wanky mechanism for too long. Designed to fail youObviously a free game will include paid promotions. This game runs ads after every run in addition to any winnings bonus you wish to sacrifice 30 seconds of your life for. That’s not my biggest problem. High levels crash at the end of the run. Still not my biggest problem. Once you reach a certain level the game gets exponentially more difficult, with character upgrades in the tens and hundreds of thousands. At a certain point you won’t be able to get half way through a run and only make a few hundred in coins, which you can multiply by watching a video. The amount of coins you will need will likely result in hundreds of adds watched just to upgrade your character, which will result in the same process again. Absolutely greedy company don’t downloadI don’t write a lot of reviews, honestly I think it’s something I’m coming In to with age, but I absolutely had to say something about this garbage company. So hard to advanceThis game, overall, is so much fun. But I’m about to delete it. I’m not that far into the game and I’m like 17,000 away from the next upgrade. There is literally no way to get passed the current level without more upgrades. There is no option to go back and play previous levels where you earn more for beating the level, so I’m stuck spending hours playing the same ten seconds of the current level, over and over and over and OVER getting less than 200 each time I beat it, IF I want to watch the ad every time. Waaay too many adsThis game maker is way to greedy. Each 20 second round is followed by a 30 second ad. In addition you can’t get anywhere without the ads because the amount of gold won isn’t nearly enough. Developers, don’t be so greedy. We understand ads but now a days there are so many types. Don’t make us spend more time watching ads than we do playing the game. It’s a recipie for failure. Show flash ads. 10-15 second ads and at level up show the 30 second ad. Crashes a lot!!!This game crashes way too much. I played this game for about 10 minutes or more and it lagged 5 times before it finally crashed. I was watching an ad for 5x reward and my phone got hot and crashed at the end of the ad. So of course I watched the ad but did not receive the reward. I have even reached the end of a race and the game crashed and I had to replay the level. Very very frustrating. I don’t know how this game has so many good reviews. Too many advertisements15 to 20 second level, watch a 20 to 30 second Advertisement. This is what happens when I play levels. the game forces me to watch an ad longer than the actual level. There are also banner ads displayed in case you’re not already tired of being forced to watch an ad to move to the next level. When the lvl is over, there is an immediate selection to watch an ad to triple your money. After waiting a couple Seconds, the actual option to select your money appears. This is just another way the game pushes ads at you. Money does not appear to be worth much. I’ve played a couple levels and I’m already having to wait for my money to build in order to upgrade. So many bugs.This game has the potential to be a lot of fun. I downloaded this game a few days ago and have nothing but problems with the game. At first I though it was my phone so I restarted it and tried again same thing. However same level but finally get an upgrade when I was able to fight the gang with less officers and it worked find. Needs to be changed.Garbage game. Don’t do it. After about an hour or so of playing the game I deleted it. This game is fun at first, but extremely aggravating once you get to around level 41. Fun, but you can’t progress.The game was enjoyable, but you hit a point where you can’t progress without an upgrade which is over 26k coins and you are getting 34 (watch an ad to triple the reward)per 4 second run.
