• Sculpting tools
Clay, flatten, smooth, mask and many other brushes will let you shape your creation.
You can also use the trim boolean cutting tool with lasso, rectangle and other shapes, for hardsurface purposes.

The best 3d sculpting app on iPad. Period.Some would have you think this app is a “ toy”or a less professional app than zbrush on the iPad. I beg to differ. Strongly! Been using Nomad professionally for more than 5 years and not only does Nomad have a very affordable non-subscription based, 1 time only pricing, but it has a way more intuitive UI, a much simpler learning curve and an amazingly faster and better render engine with intuitive lighting and hdri for some amazing renders. Plus you get a big part of the bells and whistle you would get with zbrush plus a VERY stable performance. Oh and a way better layer system. On a M4 ipad I work with 40-45 million polys and make all my professional level sculpts with it. Sure if you want 300 million polys or more you won’t get it on an iPad. To have that kind of poly count you need a souped up laptop or desktop. But for tablet sculpting, this is an incredible performance! All that from a single developer who is open to user feedback and a very responsive and active community. Very highly recommended..Version: 2.8

Excellent 3-D sculpting appIntuitive interface, well designed. I have been using this for quite a while now, and find it to be very easy to use with a comfortable, pleasant interface that is well designed. Amazing!A great app for sculpting; very beginner-friendly and easy to use. Bravo to the devs! Better sculpting than blender imo, would be nice to have more pose options though and maybe a whole rigging system. Hell, if they wanted to increase their price so they can add animation to it that would be okay with me. I like using this more than blender so if they added rigging and animation they would 100% have my money haha. Seriously tho at least add rigging for posing, that’d be awesome to have. The best sculpting app on the iPadI’ve had this app for a few years after trying others. The dev has created something incredible and keeps updating it. I love that it’s a one-time price product as well because a casual user like me doesn’t need to subscribe to tools when I want to create art for fun. Fantastic program!!!I’ll admit it, I’m impressed. I’ve worked in the 3d industry for 10+ years and this is the first program I’ve found that is easy to use right out of the box and actually WORKS and can create fantastic work. It’s not as powerful as zbrush but as a fun and on the go 3d sculpting program, its perfect and enough. You can also save out your files if you want to import the, into maya or zbrush / other programs if you wish. While I was using this program for the first time I just kept going WOW oh it can do this too?! Awesome! I wish zbrush was this easy to use. Haha.Version: 1.90

If you can’t handle zbrush this is your answerI’m so glad this exist. I’m a long time 3D artist and strong with blender/maya tools but I always have a hard time with zbrush because of not being able to remember the interface placements/use. Nomad simplifies everything. I believe that it will get there like zbrush! In the meantime, this is a great option. Sculpting on the couch or at coffee shop instead of being stuck at the desktop with a big cintiq..Version: 1.90
Elegant and IntuitiveComing from Zbrush looking for a casual thing to just have fun with sculpting, this app exceeded my expectations remarkably!! Simplicity at it’s best. The UI is so calming to look at and all the essential features are there, dynamesh, multires, LAYERS, etc. The curves tool is especially slick :D I even ended up using it for some professional work here and there, exporting objs. Honestly, it’s pretty unreal how good it is.This is one of those apps that is just mind blowing that it can run so well on a portable device. I use it to design and embellish my jewellery projects. I have tried Zbrush and it’s amazing, but honestly for what I need this can do it all in a much much better form factor. More enjoyable and artist friendly than PC based alternativesI decided to give Nomad another go and it got me back into digital sculpting again. The tube and trim tools alone make 3d sculpting way more fun than manually pushing vertices or playing with stupid menus and variables. The post processing tab and real-time rendering are bloody awesome. I’m on some Dino 2017 iPad Pro and it still chugs along. I don’t even feel using a keyboard is necessary either. Looking forward to the Quad remesher and hopefully some sort of model posing functionality in the future..Version: 1.84

Unambiguously The Best Sculpting AppWithout a tutorial I managed to make this app a critical part of my workflow, and I didn’t even use 3D for anything before I got this; I was just looking to experiment for one project and now I’m looking for excuses to fit it into my illustrations and animations. I went through so many apps looking for one that did what I needed without being a prohibitively complicated 3D engineering app. It is insanely capable on top of being easy to use, at least compared to other apps with similar or broader feature sets. The rest that I tried that are easy to use simply do less and are worse. It does exactly what I didn’t know I needed it to do for a price that makes Zbrush look like highway robbery.
