It’s changed so much!I literally just left a review, but I’ve since been playing Season 5 and it’s awful in comparison to the others. There is nonstop drama, and I know it’s for entertainment purposes, obviously, but there’s so much sketchy stuff happening in this newest season!! You can’t really customize your character like you used to be able to do in earlier seasons. Everything costs an arm and leg!! It’s nearly impossible to just play without the constant pressure to buy gems with real money to wear certain outfits. Another thing, everybody is so mean and two faced on here! Like Suresh is bad enough all on his own, but then all of the other guys are also just really not into your character at all! No matter how you choose to play it!! I’ve tried switching from overly nice and kind and taking a more aggressive approach, no matter how you play it, it’s almost the same kind of results every-time and again, way too much hate, drama, & bullying happening!! Really disappointed as this used to be my favorite game ever! I’ve also been looking forward to the new season so much and have still been giving it a chance, even after I’ve been feeling unhappy with how it’s going. It’s just getting worse and actually stressing me out in real life! It’s supposed to be somewhat of a fantasy or relaxing kind of past time isn’t it, these games? Good game but more opportunities for friendzoning please!!I really think that the game is well thought and the plot twist and storylines are quite entertaining. However, I really wish that we could reject people that we aren’t interested in and have more opportunities to go for the people we really want. In tempting fate I desperately tried to couple up with Theo because he was the only one I liked out of the og boys but the game didn’t let me. So I coupled up with Oakley but tried to keep it casual like a friend couple and tried to graft on Theo. I have literally chosen everyone except Tyler over Oakley and was happy that he got dumped but the game annoyed me with bringing him back. After Casa I just tried to be happy with max and show everyone how into him I am but the others just weren’t focusing on their own couples. It is so annoying that the game didn’t give you the opportunity to friend zone people or tell them you aren’t interested. I would also love to have the opportunity to be more mean to people and show them that I don’t like them but instead the character just forgets about most of the stuff. Another bad aspect is that you don’t have to opportunity to say that you aren’t interested in any of the characters yet. I would also like to have the first seasons back since they were the most entertaining ones. Sometimes money hungry…..I’ve been playing since the very first app, and overall I genuinely love it. The characters, drama, and storyline are really fun, and it’s one of those games I always find myself coming back to. But….. the biggest issue for me is how heavily the game pushes you to spend diamonds. It feels like all of the best or most meaningful scenes are locked behind pretty expensive choices, and it adds up fast. Honestly, it can feel like you’d have to spend around $10 per episode just to fully enjoy everything, which is a lot for a mobile game. What’s especially frustrating is that NPCs spend a huge chunk of the game trying to convince you to spend diamonds. You’ll say no once… and then have to say no again. It really pulls you out of the story and makes it feel more like a constant sales pitch than actual gameplay. On top of that, the game sometimes punishes you for not spending. I just did a Casa Amor challenge where I literally lost because I didn’t spend 10 diamonds, which honestly feels kind of insane. And when I do spend diamonds, I often regret it. For example, spending 10 diamonds just to eavesdrop and then barely learning anything makes it feel like a waste. I still really enjoy the game and want to keep playing, but the pricing model makes it hard to justify continuing to spend money. Storylines and character designs have improved tremendously!I want to start by saying that I have been an Advent player since there was only one season (Bombshell) released, and have been playing ever since, always excited and looking forward to new seasons dropping, and I am always grateful that the developers make it so that the players interest and critiques are taken into accountability by always offering surveys! The only thing I would say is that I spend so much money pretty much a couple of times a week purchasing diamonds to be able to experience the “ exclusive” experiences, and I feel that there should be other ways to earn diamonds as opposed to explicitly purchasing them or only having access to watching two videos a day to earn one extra each or just logging in and getting maximum 2 to 4 diamonds, I feel like you should at least be rewarded with one after every episode gameplay to make the goal of collecting them more achievable, because frankly you miss out on a lot of or fun details and experiences when you don’t have the diamonds for it and I get that is supposed to urge players to buy, but it gets repetitive when I’m spending almost $50 every few weeks😬 and I am an adult so I’m in charge of my own finances but if this is a game open to 17 + I wouldn’t think that all teenagers would have access to disposable income🤷🏽‍♀️.Chrisanna k.Version: 1.5.5

SUPER FUN AND CHOICES ACTUALLY IMPACT RELATIONSHIPS!I played this game before watching the show and I love the seasonal themes and the storylines. What is the best is that your choices and diamond scenes affect your relationships and how people treat you. It seems like the writing team took what we said about that awful season 5 with the ex and improved on the writing. MC gets better treatment and has the chance to stand up for herself. I also like having more features to customize our MC. What id like to see is more opportunities to earn diamonds like finish an episode and earn a diamond and on the player profile or anniversary of the app, get extra diamonds. The latest season why do we have to pay diamonds on features that were previously free? One last thing —- fix your cache!!!! There are some dialogue that have biases even if MC didn’t pick that option and the worst is replaying a season and not picking certain options but you did in your first play through so instead of having them erased in your 2nd playthrough the characters judge and treat you like you did them when you didn’t!!! This was the issue with the first app and it has not gone away. Another thing to fix I miss is when they had more unique personalities and reactions. Jin and CA Max are very similar. The first half of season 2 is perfection. Also when are we getting back seasons 1-3? Specifically season 2? Can we get those moved into this app?? Good when it started but going down hillI believe the game still has potential as someone who played since S1 I can tell they don’t put as much time and consideration into the game anymore and that could because they fired writers, Your choices have little no consequences as the season progress, The love interest all have the same dialogue it’s honestly annoying how they don’t have their own personalities no more, The drama is so forced and not even things to be mad over, MC barley has a back bone and when you do have the chance to speak up it’s either gems or options that you don’t even want. Love the game, hate the exploitive costI’ve been playing the love island game ever since the first iteration of the app, and have played every single season! It’s such a fun game, especially for someone who is also such a big fan of the show- I’ve seen every season of UK, US, and AUS as well as LI games and all stars. The stories are a lot of fun and the characters are dynamic and diverse, as are the experiences. As far as critiques, my first and main critique is as time has gone on and more “seasons” have come out, less experience/options for choices in the game have been free and just a part of the game and more and more cost diamonds- which there’s no way to get other than a measly amount for limited opportunity ad watching, or to pay for them. It really stinks because the creators have kind of forced you into buying the diamonds to experience anything of note in the game at this point, which as I mentioned before, didn’t used to be quite this bad. The only other thing I’ll say is sometimes there are frustrating plot holes- for example in the newest season you have the option to be interested in/get to know multiple people, but some choices weigh much heavier than others and when you get chosen by one islander, it seems the other that you may have been pursuing completely forgets at all that happened (which I guess could be realistic, but at least an opportunity for a conversation should be had! Expensive Game to PlayI was a huge fan of the old Love Island app which brought me to playing this one, but I found myself very dissatisfied with the major differences between the two apps. To start off, the fact that it seems like the characters are trying to push you into spending more diamonds on choices that reveal information that doesn’t really affect the story and/or are made out to seem way more spicier than they actually are at times is very off putting. It would be different if these choices weren’t so high all the time but quite literally almost every single diamond choice (clothing included) is nearly 20 diamonds, while the $5 diamond pack is only 65 diamonds, so you’ve run out again after purchasing by only making three choices. Plus, the fact that we’re forced to watch ads after every single chapter, I’d hope we’d at least be granted with more diamond deals to create a sort of balance. And the whole having to wait 4 hours just for two tickets isn’t it either, maybe 2 hours for 2 would be better, but only receiving one after so long is disappointing. It just seems that this app is less focused on the fun of the game and the storylines and more on making money. Definitely makes the game less fun. Love the Game, Few SuggestionsHonestly, I’m really enjoying this game. It’s not as bad as everyone says it is- I actually think it’s amazing. I’ve only played a few seasons so far, like ‘Tempting Fate’, ‘Double Trouble’, and ‘Ex in the Villa’, but those ones were really engaging. I’m not into the other seasons, but maybe that’s because I haven’t finished them yet. However, I do think there’s one room for improvement. One feature I’d love to see added is the ability to view an ending scenario after choosing between money and love. It would be great to see a conclusion where we get to live with our chosen partner, experience life ups and downs together, and see how our relationships evolve. This could include seasonings of us living together, having children, arguing, going on vacation, or even getting married, all while incorporating the other characters in the game. It would add a whole new level of depth to the game, and make it feel more realistic. Plus, it would be fun to see how character storylines play out. Season 3 is an upgrade but…The new season “Double Trouble” is so refreshing compared to the first two seasons. I really like how many more choices have been included to choose from and the diverse character creation. The only issue is the currency. It’s so clear how desperate the developers want the readers to spend real money on the diamonds/passes. You need money, I get it. We all do. But, maybe make it to where its actually worth spending money? It’s not incentive enough to spend when all you get is a lame compliment from the game characters for buying a 20 diamond swimsuit. You feel me? Some ideas I have in mind is you could offer a monthly/yearly vip subscription for unlimited passes & 5 diamonds a day? Just add anything to make the in-game purchases more reasonable. Also, a 5 hour wait to watch 1 ad for 1 diamond when things cost 10 diamonds and up is absolutely absurd. At the very least, maybe add surveys? Adding more adverts to watch for diamonds like 1 every 30 minutes will benefit this app greatly considering how low the reviews are. BEST GAME EVERI will never stop playing this game, so many things i can list. for one there many ways to get gems just by opening the app daily or watching videos. they slightly push the gem choices on you but after you say no everyone is nice and they dont drag on you for not picking it and when you do chose a gem option it is so worth the gems i promise you that. the game is so intuitive about your character and their personality just from the options you choose, they have so much diffren dialogue no matter how many times you play it through just based on your personality. each season is so different and that makes it so much fun and if you don’t like a season the next one will probaly be better. if there is a problem the support staff are so friendly and help solve it quickly. i’ve been playing this game for years even when it was on the other app and it is by far my favorite mobil game of all, definitely checkout the first love island game if you like this one. i could say so much more.TaliacalVersion: 1.0.40

I want to love itI mostly love this game, don’t get me wrong. But y’all truly need to release more than 3 episodes a week. It’s nothing. You’re giving us scraps. This weeks content was honestly a let down and I truly can’t believe I need to wait 7 days to get back into the villa after I’ve been totally pied off by my sister. It’s crazy. I should be able to tell that girl off too. Better options and I feel like our choices should matter more. Another example, Elliot picks us no matter how we treat him so we are just taken against our will (in my case) & then everyone in casa is acting like we are married but actually I don’t give a heck about him. Just kinda takes you out of it when I rejected him at every opportunity & he chooses me anyway. It just wouldn’t happen. And if you pursue Marshall, he pies you regardless which is drama and that’s fine but the fact that we really can’t let them have it and call them out is lame. Fun but could be betterI really love this game, the stories are fun and engaging, the characters are amazing, and it has good replay ability but…The gems and tickets really ruin it. I know we can get gems by watching ads but 3 ads every 20 minutes won’t do much when you only get 1-2 gems after the ads. I feel like the gems should only be used for customization like in other games or to unlock extra content outside the actual story. Having to use gems to go on dates and flirt with the characters really just defeats the purpose of Love Island. Yes you can still build the connection without the gems but it falls flat since you don’t get to know your love interest as well. I think this could easily be fixed by not having to use as many gems, seriously, we start with 60 if I remember correctly but that’s barely enough to get you through the first two episodes considering all the choices are 10-20 gems each and god forbid you want to buy something to customize your character along side that. I think 3-5 gems is perfectly acceptable to spend on the choices, maybe 10 if it’s a spicy scene but anything above that is excessive. Not to mention those gem choices don’t stay unlocked when you replay the story?? That’s ridiculous. Maybe we could add a daily gem refill where you get 5 or 10 gems when you log in daily. Now onto the tickets. Most stories are above 30 episodes, so why do we only get 2 tickets a day?? Not only that but the tickets take horribly long to refill. I don’t mind waiting but for 2 rickets it’s ridiculous. I think 4 is a reasonable amount of tickets and maybe shortening the refill time because long waiting times make me not want to continue the stories. Frustrating and unbearableLitg used to feel like a game where you were free to choose who to be with and what to say. Characters reacted and it felt dynamic. Every week I’d be excited to play the new episodes and would buy gems because of how much I loved it. S3 started to go downhill but wasn’t that bad. S4 began the trend of making your character unwanted and unable to choose who you were with in earnest. You got funneled along a path with few options for half the season. Plus, conversations mattered less and less. Now in S5 there’s pretty much no choice and every word and character is toxic and frustrating. Want to choose who you’re with? You can’t. Your character said something? No, she didn’t. Nothing you say or do matters. Personality? Character background? Non-existent. Games are supposed to be fun. This game actually anger inducing. Good game ishThe lines that the characters say are for the most part normal and even funny sometimes and not robotic at all so that is good. the only thing is, you don’t often get the chance to choose what to say. and each choice is pretty straightforward. it’s either, “tell jake to shut up” or “kiss Jake”, no inbetween. and also it’s not like episode with animations, you really just stand there and the actions are written out in a bar above you, the only thing that moves sometimes is your expression. again just wish there were more line options and in game options. it’s either go to the pool with huzz or go to bed. and the pool option costs diamonds. why can’t i go read a book or sit in the hallway. but the game is very addicting and i recommend. i was reading reviews looking for mine just now and some girl reminded me. I’d love to give it a fiveBut I can’t, because the amount of time you have to wait to get another ticket is hours. And it doesn’t cost too much for tickets, but the rounds aren’t as fun as if you don’t spend money on diamonds that- May I add- are way too expensive. 10$ for 140 diamonds, in the game you can use diamonds to buy outfits, accessories for your character, or to make different special choices during game play. But sometimes, it feels really crucial to use diamonds to make the special choices, so that your character doesn’t seem rude or left out of key information for decision making, or so they don’t end up making the “wrong” choice. If the prices were cheaper, I could rate this 5 stars. I think it’s ridiculous that as a game player, to have the storyline of my liking I’d have to realistically spend at LEAST 70$. And that’s a rough estimate, and only if you buy the biggest packages (making it more worth even spending the money). I love the storyline so far, it’s been keeping my attention. Fun but not for freeI really enjoy this game but the amount of diamond choices is seriously out of control. There are times when you'll get 3 diamond prompts in a row! And the dialogue for these prompts is soooooo long. Half of the game is the characters trying to convince you to spend diamonds. You miss a ton of the plot if you try to get through without spending any real world money. Not to mention, if you do the math, the diamonds are so expensive! There's no way I could justify spending $2 on a single interaction! I could see myself buying more diamonds if the options were cheaper and my money would stretch further. The ticket system is also pretty frustrating. I'm the type of person who wants to sit down at the end of the day and play several episodes rather than play one episode every several hours. With the ticket system, especially with how long it takes to earn new ones, I'm much more likely to completely forget about the game. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Could use some work.I would absolutely love this game if it wasn’t for the fact that in order to have a fun experience I have to spend money on diamonds and not only are they on the more expensive side compared to other games but the choices require so many freaking diamonds it’s ridiculous how many diamonds some cost. There should be another way that we can earn diamonds and tickets should be topped up everyday with 5 tickets. And what’s even more annoying is after spending all that money on diamonds and getting things like outfits they don’t even carry on to the next story. If you’ve bought an outfit you should be able to keep it throughout the whole game in all of the stories. Unbiased reviewSo i’ve never played these games as majority of the comments have and are complaining, so this is an unbiased review here. i played bombshell and really enjoyed it. i’d rate that alone 4 stars :) i ended up being bruno’s girlfriend! i’m barely starting the ex in the villa. but overall i’d say there needs to be improvements in every department. i’ll admit i spent money on gems / tickets but only bc i was impatient and didn’t wanna wait a total of 4 hours for 2 tickets. that’s problem number one for me. at least give us 4 tickets bc it’ll be 1 ticket every hour basically. 2 hours seems too long, especially since some episodes are VERY short / irrelevant (a musical really iykyk). Changing Some thingsI love this game but the only thing that would be best is if you guys let us watch more adds to get a lot of gems. That would be better than buying the gems as some other games lets you watch adds to get a lot of gems and the adds are limited to watch to be able to get a lot of gems. But overall I love this game. Great Game, Terrible Customer SupportI have been playing this game for years, and I adore everything about it. Everything from the character designs, storytelling, choices, etc. Over the years the game has gotten a little bit expensive, but that’s to be expected. What isn’t expected is the lack of help from customer support. I spent over $150 playing Summer Nights, and I had no issue with paying that much. However, recent word went around that the game had an issue if you wanted to restart the Summer Nights story to replay it. The issue being you would have to purchase the premium choices again, even if you were signed in and previously purchased them. I contacted customer support and asked if the issue had been resolved, they told me to run the game and I come by an issues they’ll help. Well - they didn’t. They asked to me to send them a screen recording of me purchasing the premium choices, restarting the game, and see if the issue still occurs after purchasing the choice again for the second time. I currently don’t have the funds to spend another $150, but I had the Apple email receipts and screenshots of the game asking to repurchase the choices. Apparently, that wasn’t enough, and they said they could no longer help if I couldn’t repurchase the choices and send over the recordings. It was so frustrating and disappointing, I love replaying the games - what I don’t love is running around with no hopes to solve this issue, even when I initially asked if it had been resolved or not..Haden2225Version: 1.6.0

Serious DowngradeI wanted to give season 5 a chance and was optimistic about it at first, but without spoiling too much, we’ve had FAR FEWER choices in love interests than we’ve ever had in this game. It took almost 30 episodes to get out of a couple that we had no control over choosing. I understand writing multiple paths for romance takes time, so I’d be happy to wait longer between seasons if that means I’ll actually be able to choose my partner… which is the actual point of this game. This “Ex in the Villa” season seems like an excuse to forget that simple fact: that this game is about playing the field and having options!! Plus, the ex in question is relentless in his pursuit of the main character, it flies in the face of everything most of us know about the phrase “no means no”. It’s pretty offensive and wrong. I understand that his relentlessness probably also comes down to not wanting to write multiple love interest paths, but again, this just shows the developers prioritized speed over a decent story. It is never ok to tell a character for over 30 episodes that you don’t want to be with them anymore for them to continuously pursue you anyway. I’m so disappointed. Don’t DownloadThe stories are generally the same no matter your choices or who you pick as a love interest each season. The art style of the main character has barely been changed in the last few seasons. The gem outfits have progressively gotten worse and yet are ridiculously expensive. Not to mention the gem choices through the episodes are extremely high priced as well, and unless you spend all your time waiting for daily rewards and watching ads, you’ll have to fork out a ton of money to this game. Each daily reward or ad grants you 1-2 gems, and yet the outfits, jewelry, shoes, hair, etc are priced anywhere from 10-40 gems. Episode choices cost 10, 17, and 29 gems. This game makes it impossible to enjoy the story without spending your entire paycheck on it. And personally, I won’t be spending another dime on this game until the gem availability improves. I have given you guys so much money and yet you continue to want more. It’s ridiculous and I can’t believe you’re continuing on the way you are despite the constant negative reviews I’ve seen on Reddit, Instagram, and TikTok. Do better. Not what it used to beI used to love the game. Seasons 1-3 were actually really great. So when season 4 was dropping on an entirely new app I was more then willing to give it a shot but it was a huge flop. All of a sudden it seemed like your choices weren’t yours to make and no matter what route you chose you’d end up the same. (Previously seasons really allowed you to control your destiny and you could play over and over again and always get a different outcome) this app has completely taken away the best aspects of love island. It’s okay…Double Trouble is hands down the worst, right next to Ex in the Villa. Ex in the Villa had so much potential, but they won’t allow you to couple up w who you want. If you’re going to play, don’t spend any moneyI’ve already seen many reviews written out that agree with the sentiment of the title. I was devoted fan and follower of Love Island: The Game from Season 1 all the way to Season 4. S1 and S2 were my favorites. S3 wasn’t great, but at least the islanders were nice to us. S4 was pushing it but they had some good love interests. But it all comes down to whatever abomination S5 is. None of the choices you make affect anything because it’s a linear style of story (unlike previous seasons where your choices actually mattered). Love Island the Game has really took a turn downhillAfter the catastrophe that is season 4, I was hoping on some stroke of luck that season 5 would be better but god was I wrong. I want to give it the benefit of the doubt and see where it goes but at this point I’m just disappointed. S5 is awfulAs someone who has been playing every season live since S1, I can definitively say that S5 is absolutely the worst season of Love Island The Game - it is genuinely baffling to me how far the quality has dropped. The characters are one dimensional, not swayed by your choices, and even the player character feels flat compared to other seasons. So much is behind a paywall that I feel I’m barely playing the game, but there aren’t ways to earn enough diamonds to fully participate without paying money. One scene I did pay diamonds for was not only super short but also didn’t have any effect on the game and how a character treated me, making it feel worthless. Not only that, but I’ve seen multiple typos in various dialogue or descriptions which only further reinforces my view that this season was created with a very tight deadline and quick turnaround that didn’t allow for the same quality of storytelling as previous seasons. Not worth your timeSo the original app (now Love Villa) had three seasons, the second of which was fantastic and the other two are good enough to be worth playing. Before they released this app they fired most of their staff and it really shows in the sharp decline in writing quality. The first season here was ok, if a little shallow, but gem scenes took a sharp decline in both their effect on the story and length from the previous app, as well as becoming more numerous, all of which point to blunt money grabbing. In addition to that the story really railroaded and declined as the season went on. I was hopeful after that season that the second would be better, but it was absolutely abominable. Why would anyone want to play a dating sim where the only person interested in you is your sleazebag ex who cheated on you and gaslights you, all the while flirting with everyone else and warning people off from you? Not to mention the player character (because in this game you’re not really the Main Character, since they by definition have agency) has almost no ability to influence the story, choose who they interact with, or even really how they interact (can’t snap back, can’t make decisions, can’t even really say no at some points). Kinda pushyI just started the game, it’s fun so far but the game pushes you to use the gems wayyyyyy too much. Also instead of something or an option costing like 2-5 gems it’s like 15-20 gems. Like I just started bro. It feels like you miss out on so many options. I’d be more inclined to buy gems if I knew I’d have them for a while. Also you get 2 gems every few hours, which if you’re going to slowly restore the gems make it match how often the game is going to ask for you to spend them. Also, the clothing and character creation feels a tad lacking. It doesn’t feel like a true customization. The options are very limited and I’m gonna be honest some of the clothing options are ugly. Going back to the gems, it’d make more sense to have the clothing prices up and have more options and not having to spend gems on a scenario every 2 seconds. Not as good as the original threeFirst three seasons on the other app were amazing but season four felt really kind of like forced as to who your friends with and stuff I love Angie but no one even asked me if I wanted her to be my best friend the game just decided. Worst season everSeason 1 was engaging enough for me to play season 2 (which I have replayed multiple times). Season 3 was okay. Season 4 started out well but crash landed and season 5 was just boring. Some developments, disappointing in many other waysI absolutely loved the first version, but there were some things that definitely proved frustrating. As far as improvements go, thank everything that the bubbles to talk to people throughout the Villa have been reworked, because the first version’s often took a minute+ of clicking to actually work. I also appreciate the amount of diverse options offered as far as hair and facial structure go. I’ve seen some people complaining about them, but I appreciate that there aren’t just 5 hairs available and that you can really create a unique character. Now, for the cons: 1) this game is clearly a money grab for multiple reasons: A, They created a whole new game where any tickets or diamonds you had in the first game don’t carry over; B, No longer can you wear the nice outfits you already own without some comment about “I guess this will work”, even if you’re wearing frankly the cutest outfit in the game; and C, any time you turn down a premium option as far as interactions go, they’ve now added an annoying “this is an option to get to know … better, are you sure?” popup. Like, I’m not even matched with this guy, and I also clearly said no, so I don’t think I’m changing my mind bc you want me to pay 10 diamonds to rub on a guy I don’t even think is cute. Don’t risk itI have been playing this game from the moment it came out and I was loving all the stories. I purchased so much. I easily spent $$$ worth of diamonds and tickets. I was sup to date in all the stories and waiting for the next one. Only to find out it will got wiped. All the stories I read were as if I have never read them. I even logged out and logged back in.. nothing. I reached out to their customer service where they asked me for proof through screenshots and videos. Abuse and fraudThe new season (season 5) of Love Island the Game is literally just “let’s see how long we can force players to put up with being berated, gaslit, and forced into an emotionally abusive relationship before they either delete the game or literally lose their minds”. The characters are all terribly written and hateful (except for two, who will likely become terribly written and hateful within another update or two), the storylines are laughable in how much of a leap each character makes to drag MC through the mud only for everyone to forget literally the next episode and get mad at MC for daring to still be upset. Fun but VERY greedyI enjoy this game 90% of the time, but there are some serious flaws that greatly affect how much I enjoy and would recommend this game. It takes MONTHS to earn enough gems for a single orange choice (most expensive one) or outfit change, prompting the user to spend money. You can play without picking them but it is a key component to making it more fun. And to even earn those gems, you still have to log in every day to claim daily rewards and watch ads. It shouldn’t take THAT long for free gems. Gem chooses are so pricey in comparison even if you do buy them. So disappointing.I have been playing the love island games since season 1 was released. I have played all seasons, 1 & 2 many times because they were my favorite. There is basically one route no matter what “choices” you make. They force the same characters on you whether you like them or not. Thoughts From A Long Time PlayerOkay, I’ve been playing this game since before the current seasons when the removed Season 1-3 was still out so here are my thoughts as a long time player. I used to really love this game, I did, however, it’s gone downhill in the last year or so. I don’t know what happened, but the seasons have basically been copy and paste for the last couple, and Summer Nights has improved somewhat but not as much as needed. My main issue is with the fact that when it comes to female love interests, unlike earlier seasons when there were three or four, we’ve maybe gotten what, one or two, and we can’t even couple up with them until the last recoupling therefore making us the cheaters against the male love interests we had to choose in game, when in earlier seasons we could couple up with the female love interests near immediately and maybe having one slow burn route. I get that this game is based on a television show primarily for male and female couples, however so is Too Hot To Handle and their game lets you pick your love interests near immediately. The devs never care to respond or adjust despite the overwhelming feedback given to them on socials. I’m unsure if literally any women assist with writing bc the way they’ve portrayed women this season is so one note, catty, and a gross misrepresentation of that entire gender that it’s offensive. Not as good as the originalIf you’re considering downloading this app because you liked the original 3 season, I would recommend skipping and either replaying those seasons or looking for a different app. Season 4 was decent.
