You can technically view your photos but it’s next to uselessWhile you can actually view your Google Photos on the Apple TV, it’s not worth the $ as the photos are badly low res versions, it asks whether you want to view a slideshow every single time, and there’s no way to just browse the photos with the left/right controls on the remote. It states that Google Photos albums can be viewed on the Apple TV, but when I got everything set up and going, the only option was for “All Pictures.” There was no other options for anything else, including albums. That was the whole reason I paid the $1.99, was to be able to view just the pictures in one particular album and be able to show only those pictures to family and friends.
