Shell of Its Former SelfI used to use this app every single day. I downloaded it over two years ago now. This app had something most others don’t, which is the ability to use reference images. This made generation amazing, perfect, even. Quality did start to slide downward after about a year, but it was still great. However, within the past year or so, there was an update that completely destroyed the ability to use a prompt with a reference image. Every time I try, the app just gets stuck, and the cancel button doesn’t work when this happens. It just gets stuck generating for 3+ minutes. I have to close the app to stop it. I emailed the developer a couple times about it, and they were responsive. First, it was the version on my iPad that was messed up, but I could still use my phone just fine. But then the one on my phone took a dump. They were responsive when I emailed them again about it the second time, and they tried fixing it, but the problem hasn’t been completely solved yet. And now, even just using the prompt alone (without no reference image) doesn’t work for me. The only thing that does work is the AI Filter. However, that works without a prompt, and without it, the AI interprets many items incorrectly and muddies them up too much, messing up the image. It’s a real shame because I absolutely loved this app for more than a year. It was a must-have, in my opinion, and I even got multiple coworkers to download it. But the app is definitely a shell of its former self now. I rarely touch it anymore, but I keep it on my phone in the hopes that the developer is able to restore this app to its former glory. Like I said, they’ve been pretty responsive, for the most part, and I think they genuinely care and want the app to work properly. They just haven’t been able to sort out the issue yet. How it worksThe description is vague as to how it works. It appears to use stable diffusion (open source). Needless to say, it does not run directly on your device, but must connect to the Internet—the artwork is generated on remote servers. That means if the servers go down, the app will stop working. Still, you can get your money’s worth out of this quickly if you use it a lot. Fidelity to the prompt is not always very good. For example, i prompted “Tim Cook showing off the latest iPhone“ and it showed a knight, a cyborg and other things but none of the images looked like Tim Cook. In another app I use, all of the images looked like Tim Cook. When I requested “Rembrandt in the style of Rembrandt,“ it worked great, but when I prompted “Rembrandt painting a self portrait,“ it always gave me a “unknown error!“ On the plus side, the images are a lot higher resolution than they appear on your phone. If you download them to a device with a large screen like a computer, you will be able to enjoy them in their full resolution, which is pretty decent!.CybernettrVersion: 2.0.2

Works with some minor issuesIt’s a nice AI art generator. Of course I don’t like that artists don’t get credit when their art is used for AI, but this works and does a fairly decent job depending on what you input into the description/ prompt. I like that it has examples and that you can generate a prompt more than once. And it’s great that it doesn’t have in-app purchases or it doesn’t seem to make you pay to use it after a couple of uses like other AI art generators. Although sometimes doesn’t work/ the app crashes when there’s no WiFi or if the prompt is tricky. The images come out small and blurry (unless enhanced). Kinda stopped workingI was very happy with the results until around the end of the first week of February 2023 when the app just started to quit at random times. Sometimes it would not even launch. Prior to that it generated pretty great pictures, although you had to be thoughtful about how you phrased the prompt. Also you need to balance the weight it gives to the prompt vs the weight it gives to any picture you might give it as a guide. Some combinations just don’t work. It takes a fair amount of trial and error to get it to do what you want. But as of now, Feb15, it is not really functional..SlowBrotherVersion: 2.0.2

Love it, but update caused troubleI’ve been using the app for years now and it’s been great. But as of 4 days ago (at time of this writing) there was an update, and now when I try to upload an image from my phone to use as a basis for generating new variant images it hangs and shows no progress. This app convinced me NEVER subscribe for a yearThis was an excellent app until about a week or two ago. It was a solid five star plus. A week or two ago, it started crashing every time I opened it. I have restarted my tablet, I have deleted and reinstalled it three or four times, but it continues to crash. It looks like they haven't updated it in several months, so that makes me think they have abandoned it. It's now a weak one star. Developers who take your money and then abandon the app should be permanently banned from the App Store, if there's any way to do that. EDIT: Even after multiple reinstalls, it now causes my screen to freeze up and other apps to become unstable after every crash. This lasts from several seconds to until I restart my iPad. Has some bugs that need fixingUnlike some individuals on the Internet, I never claim any of the images created by the AI as my own, nor do I post any of these AI-generated images. I find this app to be quite handy. As a creator, it has become a valuable tool that helps me explore design ideas and directions that I might not typically consider. Recently, I've faced some challenges with the app after its latest update. It appears to be more prone to bugs than before. Specifically around the adjust button and the advanced settings. When I enter a prompt other than the default setting and try to select a different style or format ratio, the render screen remains stuck on a small display, failing to produce the desired image. The only when to cancel out of the endless rending screen it to close and restart the app. Additionally, I’ve noticed that despite previously purchasing the pro version, I am now being prompted to pay for a yearly subscription again. I understand the need for updates and renewals, and I would be open to this if the app functioned as intended. I hope these issues can be addressed to improve the overall user experience. Furthermore, I want to mention that the app sometimes displays provocative female content that I didn’t specifically ask for. In other instances, it will refuse to create an image I’ve asked because it is deemed as not safe for work (NSW), even when I request something that is harmless. As a paying adult user of this service, I believe I should have the freedom to choose what I want to see. Implementing parental controls could help ensure that minors do not access questionable material while allowing paying adult users to customize their experience. HorribleI got this a while ago and it was great fun to play with as it was an art generator This generated some great pictures that I loved after I purchased it. What happened to this app? I can no longer use it to make art pictures It takes pictures and turns them into avatars. No more funny animal pictures. Don’t buyNot useful. Don’t buy this app. If you put in two words - it only processes one of them. As an example - I typed “rainbow puppies” and it processed a nice rainbow wallpaper - but no puppies. Great Before UodateI used this regularly before the last few updates. Now it crashes no matter what I do. Not Midjourney.The AI doesn’t allow you to get specific about anything. I tried to have it generate numerous artworks and it only latches onto the first word. It couldn’t draw a dog driving a car.
