Fun at times but RIGGED and need to add SUBS or SEASON playThis game is very fun because you can choose your team, choose your uniform, arena, etc. Although a lot of the games are fun to play, majority of the time it is rigged. What i mean by this is I will be spamming the defense button all game and get maybe 1-2 steals, but when i go on offense the defense steals the ball right away. You might be asking how is this rigged? It is rigged because the other teams defense only starts stealing the ball when they are down. Also, sometimes this works in my favor, but whenever i am down by 5-10 points, I start making ALL of my shots to get back in the game. And this goes both way for me and the other team. But sometimes i will hold down the shoot button and it says like 20% chance of making it (which isn’t very good), and it will ALWAYS go in when im down by 5+ or when the other team is down 5+. About subs, I really wish they would allow you to swap out players because during play sometimes you need an extra guard or an extra post. It would also be cool to switch the tactic for offense mid play. Overall though, this game is very fun and pretty addictive (in a good way), if i could take away one thing though, i would take away the fact that the games are pretty much rigged whether it is in my favor or my opponents..YeinfsVersion: 1.6.18

Great gameplay but insulting storeFirst of all the game is just really fun. Offense can be incredible and you can even think up and run your own plays and the game rewards you for doing so. Defense needs a lot of work but it’s fine for now. My big issue is with the store and specifically the battle pass. It costs 15 dollars and the grand prizes are 4 chefs (curry) and 5 powermans (AD). That’s important because you need duplicates to upgrade players. The first upgrade only takes two players but the second takes 4 more. So this means that if you spend $15 on this mobile game, you get to upgrade these players 1 time and then have leftovers which are completely useless and the team behind this game must have known they were useless when they made it. What makes this worse is that the overalls of the players is too low to even be good. I’ve only been playing the game for 3 weeks and I couldn’t add either of the players to my team. They also sell legendary players in the shop occasionally but it’s only 1 player and it’s not the same ones from the battle pass. So it’s useless for anyone who’s actually playing the game for any extended period of time. If any of the developers are reading this, I am absolutely willing to spend money on this game because it’s super fun. However you have got to make it worth it. Make the legendary players start out at least as 50 overalls instead of 30. Im sure plenty of other people would want to buy these players if they were actually good as well..Hype??Version: 1.1.2

Fun but frustratingI have never written a review for anything on the App Store or iTunes Store, whether I was unhappy or not with it, but this game has pushed me to do so. I like this game’s aspects, like the quick time for games, graphically it looks fine, and how great of a feeling it is when you sink a three-pointer. I’ve also run into situations where I have beaten people with a much higher team rating than me which is always a great feeling; unfortunately, there is a flip side to all the positives. The most frustrating thing about this game is some of the hidden mechanics that make no sense. There can be one game where I’m on the edges of green on the shot meter, or there’s not even a green meter, and I sink every shot; on the other hand, there are certain games where I can be wide open, be in position, not moving, hit the middle of the green area on the shot meter. The ball will go flying out of bounds. There will be games where I can’t make a basket no matter how clean the shots are. Another thing that drives me nuts is the occasional instance when I steal a ball, and since it’s the same button, my character will go to shoot the ball from the other side of the court. This is annoying enough, but I find it puzzling that it never happens to the opponent. After happening to me dozens of times, I have a tough time believing an actual human wouldn’t make the same mistake. There are a few other nitpicks that drive me insane, but I’ll end it here. This game is a complete and utter JOKETo say this game is completely unfair is completely an understatement. Yet another example of inclusive nonsense. Just have anybody in the world play anybody at any time no matter what their skill rating. That is the dumbest thing ever I’ve ever heard, this isn’t the NBA. I’ve worked so hard to get up to level 258 and they keep putting me up against players that are in the 300s with their overall rating. I don’t think that’s fair. You should be able to have a gauge to let you play who YOU WANT. It’s your game, if you want to win or if you want to make it harder to get better it’s on you. I keep playing all these clowns and I work my tail off to win and these people just walk down the court and shoot three’s like it’s nothing at the end of the game. That’s not fair. I should be able to build a lead before halftime and be comfortable. This shot for shot for shot back-and-forth nonsense is ridiculous. Even when I play on the easiest level the block they still put me up against opponents that have high overall ratings. Fun Game: minor tweaks neededI really enjoy this game; I wish there were an option for longer games (there may be, but I’m still building my profile), but it’s been good so far. The ads aren’t too imposing like so many games, so thank you for that. I’m no programmer, but I feel a handful of tweaks would go a long way towards an even better gaming experience. First, I’d like an option to drop players that I don’t want or need; my bench is full of guys I have no need for, since you need to use coins to upgrade them to keep up with the competition. Being able to reinvest the value for those unneeded players is a far better choice. I also wish turnovers were so prevalent when the opposition doesn’t earn them. I don’t have enough control over where the ball goes and have noticed oftentimes when passing the defender simply steals the ball based on their position on the court. Lastly, when stealing the ball I end up taking a 3/4 court shot because the defense button is also the shoot button. I’m not sure what can be done, but even something as simple as a slight delay in the pass button working wound allow the player to dribble or pass the ball, rather than taking a shot they’ll never make. On the way to greatness1. Why isn’t their a woman in this game ( as I made this recommendation - a legendary woman player should be gifted to me) Names I’d recommend - Bird or (Blue Jay), Big Perm, Ace, Sparks, Swoopes, Big Classy) 2. Also their should be a player with glasses, these names should be easy. But if you must ask ( Court Vision) 2a - be nice to have an older player who can hoop - Uncle Drew esque…. At this point you know I’m giving you a name ( Ol Vet, Big AARP, Slow Mo, Fogey) 3. Defense - Possibly reduce the ability to spam the defend button for steals ( I benefit from this as well as have it done to me, it easily changes the outcome of games) - I’d recommend adding players who are strong in defensive attributes, so it becomes more strategic vs spamming defend …. Which means adding a defensive attribute…. Defense is half the game of basketball, there needs to be a defensive attribute for players, which gives you the opportunity to create more players 4. Offensive rebounds - how can a player get 3 offensive rebounds before a player can jump once? Also rebounding on missed free throws heavily favors the offense - you can’t even select a player during the free throw sequence 5. Blocks - how can a player have a dunk animation that has their hang time twice as long as a block animation…. Could be a great game, but it’s just not.I’m going to be honest here, I love basketball and I loved playing this game….. for the first 45 minutes. Playing the first few matches it’s very fun to get the hang of, and the players make good shots. After about the first 4 games I started noticing something, all the “teams” I was getting matched up against had the exact same characteristics. Simple name, and literally a stock photo from some advertising or something. You only play CPUs. And after you get a little further into the game, these CPUs are all about 2 levels higher than you, but they basically have all epic and legendary players who are absolutely cracked. They just chase right after whatever character has the ball and spam the steal button, but they are faster than your characters so they get the steal every time. Game would be cool if I played a single real person, I would be tempted to spend money on a game like this but the reality of the situation forced me to realize, that would be an absolute waste of money, and I hope others don’t make that mistake..Nickname-is_takenVersion: 1.1.0

Seems unfair at timesFirst off the game is fun a great way to kill time, but it seems like the game wants me to lose. For example I miss 80%+ wide open dunks but I made dunks with 60% while being contested once I will a couple games in a row they will match me with a opponent that is way high ranking and rating then my team just for me to lose. It also seems like I can never steal the ball as much as my opponent does and some of the steals be mind blowing like steals from behind from a space away as soon as I pass the ball etc. also it always seems like the opponent can just dribble right pass me while I’m spamming the steal button but 99.9% of the time if I do it then it get instantly stolen from me. The shots that you make be heavily contested but I will miss wide open with a great percentage and high rating 3pt. The game needs a lot of bug fixes and better defensive contest on shots and it shouldn’t nearly be as easy to steal the ball it just feels like I have no control over it. It’s good but…I gave 5 stars because it is a very fun game and the graphics are nice. The one problem I have that I can’t seem to get passed though is how your players don’t have stats. If I have a player that scores 10 points in a game, it goes unnoticed after the game is over . It would be awesome to have player game stats and maybe it could be used as a way that they level up . Can be a blast or total headacheOverall this game is addicting. The variety with tournaments and seasons is fun and I enjoy this over the soccer version of this game. There are some issues though. The matchmaking makes no sense. As a 250 I could be up against a 240 or a 350, that clearly is imbalanced. It is not competitive when matched with an overpowered opponent and it ruins the game. There needs to be distinguished levels on matchmaking so it is always competitive. Sometimes the CPU can perform actions I simply cannot. Their ability to steal a ball instantly on a rebound for example is ridiculous. The passing is a headache at times as the CPU will launch themselves in front of any pass while the on ball defender will steal it. My defenders do not react this way, requiring me to always switch defenders. You can physically jump through someone and they will still make a shot. Excellent Quality, Could Use Some TweaksI find this game really fun to play when I have downtime, but it’s annoying to me as a basketball fan that there aren’t 12 minute quarters instead of the 24 minute halves in game. Additionally, a longer match time could be nice, especially when 1 minute gives no time to play. Speaking of which, add a minimum time to start a play off of an inbound pass. In the NBA, that’s .3 seconds, not too quick that it’s impossible to shoot, but not too long to have long plays. Finally, I’d like to note the store. Particularly, I’m sorry asking about how the bundles of card packs are just grouped together, and give me no information as to what each pack contains. This ruins the value of the shop, as players are expecting certain things when the purchase it. Needs workI want so badly to like this game. I also want for defense to be possible (and my player's hands not go through the ball instead of grabbing it), wide open shots that I get in the green meter to not hit the top of the backboard, and for the game to not pretend these are real people instead of AI that's either legendary or terrible with no relation to the team rating. Also, there is obviously a glitch on rebounding. More times than not, my players will literally run the opposite way, run in place, or stare down a ball going to the other team or even passing them by to go out of bounds. And, the better my players "rating" becomes, the worse they play. It seems like this game has a competitive algorithm that's not working properly. I've noticed that if I'm down at halftime, my players will play way better in the second half. It’s okayThe game mechanics are pretty straight forward, and it doesn’t seem like a pay to win, at least not entirely. Sometimes though, the game does force you to loose. There will be certain games when your team just can’t make a shot whatsoever, despite how accurately you release the shoot button. Whether it’s threes, twos or even dunks, they are all somehow missed. The other team on the other hand, goes straight through your defenders, despite the amount of times it would seem as though you’ve successfully defended, and makes all of their shots. They seem to have more stamina than your team, and they don’t miss a single rebound. It’s not like the discrepancy between teams is that wide either, you’ll be ranked at 197 and the other team is at 201, considering that small of a gap, the other team should not be steamrolling you like that..MiniIronManVersion: 1.6.13

Balancing player matchesI like the game, but have 1 complaint. At certain points of team development it seems like you only get matched up with folks who are far better rated, meaning they have players with better overall stats. For me, those teams have 20%+ more points and that’s like a community college team playing against a NBA team… I would suggest adding an algorithm to limit the difference in overall team points. Also, some of these higher players enter lower level tournaments leaving no hope for those players playing at lower levels. When I play vs players around my level I win and I lose but I at least have a chance; currently I can enter a game as 224 and end up playing a 270… there’s almost no chance of scoring let alone being competitive… please fix and I’ll review again.1Serious1Version: 1.5.16

Love it! But…This game is an absolute blast! However, there are a few things that are very annoying to deal with. 1st, when you shoot, a perfectly timed shot may result an a complete air ball, yet a shot that wasn’t timed right and ought to end up resulting in a miss or close to one… GOES IN ALMOST EVERY TIME LOL. 2nd, the button you tap to steal the ball instantly transforms into the button you use to shoot, as soon as the ball is taken. It’s very hard to tell who has the ball with 3-4 players covering up the view of it; so often times you’ll steal and immediately end up chucking the ball across the entire court. Very frustrating. Third, ALL of the card packs (including the more rare ones) rarely yield anything actually interesting, rare or worth grinding for. I have a team of 5 players, and a bench with countless (and I mean COUNTLESS) sub par players that will never ever be used. Wish I could flip them for coins. BUT, then again, even in the shop where you spend coins on new players and upgrades, the choices are always terrible. Hardly ever any player cards worth investing in. Fun and annoyingAlmost all these games i should be winning but the shot meter is just inconsistent. I could be at the free throw line and i make two out of the three with the bar right at or at least like right behind green bar. The third free throw is right in the green area on the shot meter and it barely hits the right side of the rim. And it’s not just a one time thing it’s half the time. Another thing is the steals… I’m nearly fusing with these players to get the ball. No like literally, I’m glitching through these players to get the ball and it’s costing me games. Especially the tournaments. When I go to block a dunk off a fast break, I’m right there with them, timing and everything. But their still getting these dunks off. Needs updateOverall the game is great I like the layout and the way you build your team from scratch. The only thing that bothers me is the gameplay. Once you get to a certain league or tournament it is impossible some games to even score on offense. The opponent team can steal from you any second you don’t pass the ball fast enough and it’s hard to move the ball around. What I don’t understand is why you can be more open some plays and completely air ball or just flat out miss the shot, especially when your dunking the ball. And what is the point of tactics? Unfair AIIf you want an honest review of the game. First 2 hours you play against the easy AI. Low defense, not doing much. Letting you shoot. Then the fun begins. At some point you get to the harder AI. If you dribble for more than 1 second they will come to you to steal it. If you do a dribble move to get around them you run out of energy and someone comes to help immediately. You don’t get the same steals they do, they just dribble right by you. They make all the shots they take unless you block it. Blocks are random. Sometimes you’re right on them and you get a block and other times they can shoot. If they get to shoot a jump shot they don’t miss. If they do miss rebounding is horrid. They run to the ball but you can’t switch onto the right player in time so they beat you to EVERY BALL unless it bounces right to you. If you get a steal they steal it back immediately so you need to pass. They can also steal that pass too so be careful. The shooting is not at all accurate. The percentage at the bottom means close to nothing. You air all a lot of greens. You miss a lot of dunks. You basically need to spray and pray for 3. It’s beatable. I’ve done it. FrustratingSomething that I have noticed when playing this game is the shooting when you are playing a team that is better than yours. It seems as though the game is rigged for the better team to win, especially when it is a close game. For example if you are playing a team that is much better than yours and you have a wide open game winning shot with perfect accuracy on the green, it seems to almost never go in. Do not download this app, 90% cheaters playing this gameAfter the matchup I had with the opponent who’s lower power level than me, the player seems to be too hard to beat which made the game very boring and impossible to play and when I lose, it made me very upset because of the one point difference the opponent had. And when I did a rematch, the opponent seems to get very impossible to beat and even when I almost win the last minute, all I get was fouls, the opponent foul me non stop in order to have the position advantage, penalty score was also unfair, I only get 1 shot. This not only happened to me one but happened to me many times after my team reach 241 power level. Another opponent which had 221 and lower level than me was too fast to beat, I don’t even understand at all, the Post players on the opponent team seem to have more speed and agility than my team full of guard players. I think many opponents use hacks to win the whole game and the game itself doesn’t do anything about it. The worse part is that I can’t report a player for cheating because there’s isn’t any option to report. I feel like this game is not online but full of bots and AI that are programmed to cheat and hack the whole game. I won so many times against fair playing opponents but this time, I only lose because of the amount of cheaters in the game. WowThis game is rigged for the CPU I read the reviews before I played it and everyone was saying the same thing but I thought it was just people weren’t good enough at the game. But after I played it I realized it truly is rigged. The game first starts out insanely easy but as you starts to play in harder tournaments it gets impossible. Like in a tournament the first two rounds are easy then the last round they turn into the dream team. You can’t even pass the ball more than 5 feet without it getting stolen, you can’t let the cpu come 5 feet within the ball because they will steal it instantly. You can time a shot perfect and air ball even with a character with a really high 3 point. The stats don’t even matter at all. But I’m order to steal from the CPU you have to spam steal like 20 times just to not even get the steal anyway. If you are winning by more than one possession in the finals you aren’t scoring anymore until the cpu scores first the game just won’t let you make anything. If you are gonna make steals overpowered for the cpu then make it like that for the user as well to make it fair . Game is completely rigged the only way you win is you have to getting super lucky and not give the cpu the ball back with 3 minutes left because they will somehow make it no matter what. Ordinarily This has been a very ….Enjoyable game. In fact, its the only basketball game I actually enjoy playing. The only negative comment I have is at times, usually when playing against teams [especially when the gym is purple and gray] it is very difficult to win or beat the teams. Sometimes, the the control of my team seems to disappear and they don’t do what I’m trying to make them do. If I try to make a pass to the right it goes left. When my players take a shot, the shots are all off, nowhere near the basket. This seems to constantly occur when playing teams on the purple and gray courts. If I try to move the circle to a certain player ….on defense, the circle jumps to a different player on the my team and the defender backs away from the person with the ball, letting and allowing the opponent to get the shot off. Other times the little circle on the right to make the athletes run fast disappears, and there is only one circle so I can’t switch the athlete. There are other times, the overall play of the game seems lag behind and move slowly; especially against teams on the purple and grey court. Besides these issues, the game is one of the best basketball games [in my opinion ] that I’ve come across and I am not one who enjoys games and arcade games to often. In fact my favorites are Ms. PAC Man, Galatica, and Donkey Kong. This is the fourth one I tend to enjoy when the game doesn’t seem to have a virus which interferes with my being able to play against the opponents in a “ fair” way..MiniballplayerVersion: 1.3.1

Fun for a while, now deleted.Update. Gave it a second go but no dice. Got up to a level 8 and was 2nd on the Brass leader board. Just played two games, lost the first. Gave up on the second after missing four shots in a row. My opponent was able to easily steal the ball and lay it up for scores while being double teamed by my defense. I’m done. For a free game, it started out pretty fun. The graphics and gameplay are very good in the beginning. Switching up the uniforms and gear was great. As I progressed though (my last level was at a 21), the rewards lessened. The majority of player card points given were for lower level players and eventually points received were not enough to up any player at all. I did use accumulated winnings, not real money, to obtain player cards but it wasn’t enough. My best players topped out at a 45 level. Further, gameplay became really inconsistent. My shots with 60% + power were missing, rebound miss, rebound miss, then the other team would easily steal the ball and I couldn’t defend at the other end. I was having trouble moving my players and the ball not being thrown to the player of my choice. Foul shots were missing even the power marker was dead center green. There were several instances of gameplay stutter, as if my signal was being interrupted. Someone using game cheats or server issues who knows. Team point level matching was ultimately atrocious. My second to last game, I was a 227 playing a 291 team and of course it was a $10,000 match, lost. The very last was my 227 against a 251, another $10,000 match. Glitchy and prone to Viruses“Coincidentally” when I installed this game, within a day I started receiving notifications from my firewall that my iPhone 13 was attempting attacks on my network. I rebooted and problem went away, only to come back a day later. Trend continued for about 2 weeks. I decided to uninstall the app, the ONLY app I uninstalled and “mysteriously” I get no more warnings from my Firewall. So beware, I believe this game and/or “game packs” are prone to viruses and malware. Aside from that, I purchased the 5 dunks for $1.99 since the top prize was 1000 GEMS and I figured I could win it, which I did! However, I was not credited the GEMS 😡. I sent an email to their customer support and they replied asking if I had a screenshot that proves that I won. Imagine that. Lesson for you is, take a screenshot of everything you win or open. That’s normal right? I also I’m not sure if the player packs always work. Meaning, there’s been times where I felt that I got enough cards of a player to upgrade him, but the game said I needed more cards to get to upgrade. I was tempted to take screenshots of every before and after stat for players, but it feels like a lot of “work” to confirm that the player cards I “win” are actually being credited. Many of them work fine, it’s just felt to me more than once as if some glitch caused the cards to go away with no effect on player stats. Other than that, the game was a lot of fun. Enjoyable until realization.This game is entirely rigged and made to make you want to spend your money. If you guys didn’t know you play against real players and then you play against bots. I’ve noticed a huge difference when I play against a bot and a player that defensive stops are almost impossible to get against a good bot. Which results in a close game usually forcing you to lose. Which I’m okay with, I’m a very good loser. But there is a point where you lose so much and you realize it’s not even your fault, you play the same way and the game cheats you when it wants. So that’s one thing is the bots.. another thing is the CPU players themselves. For example I was playing in a tournament and I was airballing 70% - 60% 3 pointers.. more than usual too I’m takin about going 4/13 in a game. Which is understandable if the shooting is truly based off of random variables. BUT there was one huge thing I’ve noticed that NEEDS to be changed with the CPU… the rebounds. For some reason idk how or why my CPU players will either not go for the rebound, or go to chase if be so close and not grab it. Resulting in an offensive rebound put back which happens wait too often than not. THIS is a huge problem in the game in my opinion. BrokenThe concept of this game is great. I like the cards where you can obtain collectible items to customize you team and players. However, the defense is completely broken. The “other online player” seems to have a flawless and impenetrable defense and steals the ball away very easily. When my team is on defense it takes a complete miracle to steal the ball away, rebound, or intercept a pass. I’ve watched replays of my players literally run their entire body through the ball while seeing them react to me pressing the “defense” button and the ball is not turned over. I get it’s a cartoon game that’s unrealistic but at least make the turnovers consistent for both sides. The shooting also makes little to no sense. My best shooter will be wide open on the three point line and I will shoot the ball perfectly but he’ll still miss. Sometimes I’ll be near the half court line and shoot in the yellow and make it. Same with dunking and layups. I can see every now and then missing a three point shot even if it’s “in the green” but, missing a layup that’s in the green ? That makes little to no sense even for a cartoon basketball game. These small fixed to this game would easily make it a 5 star contender on the App Store. This game is not itThis game is ridiculously easy at the start and makes you feel great seeing as you beat everyone. As you progress through the game they put you against robots. Robots that will take 10 shots and make 10 shots. This makes game’s impossible to win and there are also robots who rate this game 5 stars. The game is pay to win that’s why there is a new 20$ pack you can by every day ripping of NBA players like Giannis and Lebron calling them these other trash off brand names like Shorty or Biggs. If you wanted to make a basketball game atleast make the player dribble with both hands not just the right. Very bad defense and offense mechanics but a good gameThis is a great game besides the gameplay. The layout of this game looks awsome and I enjoy upgrading my players but the problem is the actual gameplay. The game is almost entirely luck. Because of the AI it’s very hard to get inside shots when the defense is setup so you are forced to take many deep threes which often have a 42% chance to go in. On game you could score 6 points and other games you score 38. Very inconsistent which is not good for this type of competitive game. Another issue is the defense while the opponents AI is able to steal passing lanes and easily reach and poke you, your user is stuck with the inability to steal the ball before half court and the inability to get in front of a pass that you know the AI is going to make. This is the most frustrating thing about this game to me. Scoring 6 points on offense is fine but if I have the inability to play defense it becomes a huge deal and results in losing games. The blocking mechanisms also need to be reworked. It is very difficult to block a baseline shot because of the angle of the camera. Has potential but bots make it unplayableI hate to say it because the game has so much potential to be a good mobile basketball game, but Mini Basketball is extremely rigged and full of overpowered bots that the game matches you up against. At first, it may be really fun and you may dominate lower ranks, but when you reach higher leagues and play in bigger tournaments or Progress through win streak, the bots are unbeatable. They have infinite stamina, they can steal the ball with one swipe, and they barely miss. You on the other hand can’t get it in the basket no matter how good your players are, and when you play good defense or try to steal the ball it doesn’t work at all and they’ll just score on your whole team. Bad game, full of luck and gameplay is trashOk, for starters I love this game company and I was incredibly disappointed when I played this game for the first time, the season pass is so ridiculously expensive and whenever you want to steal the ball or play defense you cannot, you either spam the defense and nothing happens or when you jump to block it you are a mile off. Also I’ve noticed whenever you switch players it just brings you to the one closest to the ball and on paper that sounds fine but if the ball is moving away from that player, you cannot reach it and the one guy open on the side will not go for it because the ai does nothing, also everybody you play against is a bot/ai so this finding a match is just stupid. Some things should be changed.First off, when you start playing the game is very fun. It kind of gets old as you go one as you can only play basic 5 on 5. There is a dunk contest thing also but that can only be played once a day (unless you want to pay). One issue I have is that they pretend you are playing against real people but in reality it’s just an AI. It really bugs me when they make me wait 10 seconds for a match to be “found” or for another game to “finish”. The opponent skill level is also very inconsistent. Some games I’ll win by 15 and others I’ll lose by 15 to the same level opponent. I get that they are trying to make the game competitive but at least make it noticeable when it will be more difficult. The inconsistency of shooting is also a big issue. Some games my players seem to make every shot and others they can barely get one to not be an air ball. There’s a shooting bar for when to release the button on your shots for accuracy. Terrible game that focuses on microtransactionsThis game was alright at the start, however the competition to begin with was very weak. They seem to match you up with “real” players who even all have profile pics and everything. However as you level up and progress, there is huge incentive to buy their packs/season pass/cards. You can go by just fine without these upgrades, however you will soon begin being matched up with cpus/players (it really seems as though these are bots) that have highly outranking cards than you. Beyond that, the game has steal/block mechanics in the game. These are easily exploited by these higher ranked cards to where you can’t even dribble/get a shot off without getting hacked and you also in turn, can’t successfully steal the ball away from the opposition. I have tested this out and the steal mechanics are very inconsistent to the point it is game breaking. Good Idea but Poor ExecutionThe overall gameplay of this game is very fun. It’s high-energy and fast-paced like most basketball games in real life. However the AI and rubberbanding is absolutely abysmal. The AI can steal the ball and block you at will to keep games close. Nobody on your team knows how to rebound to the point in which the AI can shoot a corner 3 from one corner and run to the other corner to grab the rebound before your players that are idly standing by. The shooting system is extremely flawed. You can time the shot perfectly and get a >60% chance of making the shot, only to have your player completely airball. This can happen numerous times in a row from all over the court. How well your team shoots depends entirely on how close the game is. If it’s a close game (3 points or fewer, or you’re losing) you’ll make every shot that’s timed well. Once you get a lead of more than 5-6 points, it seems like it’s almost impossible to score or defend. Needs workThe game itself isn’t bad, but the way it was made is just poor. First off the ai’s, I understand they are npc’s (non playable characters) but they should atleast be coded to go after the ball for a rebound and on defense they should be on the same level as the offensive ai’s. Money GrabIt’s fun, but to win you need to spend to get the best players. Even then you never get any cards to boost them. They want you to believe you are playing other people but you ain’t, it’s a computer and it is infallible. I tried but the developers gave up!!!!!Imagine a game that with a few development tweaks would be an epic basketball game? Well that is this one. I played for a while and here is my honest review. First, don’t let them fool you most of the time you are not playing a human player. This becomes glaringly obvious as every dunk gets blocked, and they transition from a steal to a perfect shot instantly. But here is the real problem. Three point shots fall at a higher percentage than dunks, in which 3 out of 4 get blocked. Also there is a problem with the fact that literally none of your players will go get a rebound. This means that you can play great defense and 9 out of 10 times if the offensive player misses they get the rebound. But again, this is only if you are playing a bot. Finally, the ability to pass to the player you want is awful. You can have a wide open player down the court and still it will pass to a player one foot away and most often get stolen. Enjoyable, at first…When I first got the game I thought it was a lot of fun, but that quickly changed… I soon realized I was playing computer players and no real time people and a lot of wide open shots I take that hit the green meter miss terribly, but contested shots the AI take go in almost every time. My opponents be invincibleOK I’ve had this game for a pretty long time and I put a lot of money into this game like for the season passes and for individual characters I want to say I spit maybe about a total of $80 and I have a good amount of players but for some reason no matter who I match up with my opponents or able to sprint down the court with one player able to make it all the way on the other side of the court without me being able to take it no matter how close I am in how many times I push to reach button. For some reason, they can just sprint across court with the ball without me being able to do anything about it. Borderline unplayableThis game stinks, the absence of an actual defensive system makes this game unbearable to play. For one you can’t move or pass the ball without it getting immediately yanked by the defenders. How are you supposed to avoid it? no clue. There’s no dribble rating for players nor is there a steal/defense rating so is it just luck? then how come i can stand in front of a defender and repeatedly swipe just to have it fail and somehow end in a score but when my players (who all have better stats) catch the ball it’s immediately stolen. Fun but low valueThe game is fun when you 1st start playing but after a while you realize you are just playing the ai. Building players also feels fun but it does not matter either. There is no difference between common, rare, extraordinary, or legendary players. Player rating is the only thing that matters. In short, don’t spend a nickel on players. The last point is the AI can be impossible. It gets twice as many rebounds, forces you to pass the ball off target, steals the ball in the most improbable ways, makes you miss dunks with high inside scoring players, and blocks layups. UnbelievableIt’s unfathomable how much I still want to play this game despite how inconsistent it is. I run the length of the court on defense spamming the steal button and then jump to contest his layup, nothing - not even a foul. I can’t even make two passes in the offensive end without it getting picked off. Any contested shot I take gets blocked whereas I’ll jump and have a computer help defender jump and we get posterized with dunks every single time. Don’t even get me started on loose-ball rebounding. The guys on the wing who just stare at the ball as it goes right past them within an arms reach, or even if I do control that guy, he stops the step before he would pick up the ball and the other team scoops it and takes it. Honest opinionI have been playing this game for months. I have probably spent $300 on it. I have definitely played over a thousand games. When you are losing you can steal and block shots more easily. You make shots from practically half court if you want. The game decides a lot of who wins. There are many games I was down then I start stealing the ball hitting 3s. All of a sudden as I get close to being tied the steals stop. Also guards with hardly any jumping will block your post player with a lot of jumping ability. It’s fun but I wouldn’t expect that much. Full of AII did an experiment. I suspected that the game was full of AI, usually the AI has the defensive skills of a god. I know this because every game my ‘online opponent’ steals the ball with ease. In order to get passed the AI you have to spam the “pass” button to even get the ball down the court. I am a very good player at this game, even knowing I’m going against rigged AI. Once the game started, the AI went for nothing but 2 point shots.. not even shots but layups & dunks. The score was 20-6 with my team being in the lead. With 15 seconds left, I purposely take bad shots and give the AI a chance to get a comeback. No regular person will get a comeback with that much of a lead coming from the opposing team. I played defense to the highest of my capabilities. Remember when I said the AI was going for nothing but layups & dunks? Well.. now they hit nothing but pure 3 pointers. I even had very very tight defense and they seemed to hit every single shot to get this comeback. Half court shots included. After the match was over it was a total score of 21-20, the AI had made a total of 5 threes in 15 seconds, without missing one. I suspected, okay maybe it was a coincidence because this supposedly ‘online player’ had asked for a rematch right after this game. An AI wouldn’t had asked for a rematch right? I played the rematch. I won, 38-6. In conclusion on how I know it’s AI is a list of things from my opponent wanting to watch my replay and never skipping, to when I exit out the game and keep my tab open I can come back to an ‘online match’ at any given time I please. It doesn’t make sense on how someone who can make 5 three pointers in a row to get a leading comeback win can score less then 10 points and get demolished. This is obviously a scandal to get you confident enough to play again, and again, and again until they eventually take all of your money. Could be betterThe game and gameplay isn’t bad. And the game was a lot of fun at first. But after a while the game gets annoying. You get overwhelmed with useless players in your team lineup page. Then in the actual gameplay whatever algorithm the game uses to decide when shots go in is broken. When your “shooters” can’t make a single shot, in their ideal position and you time the shot perfectly in the green bar, and it’s still a crazy air ball. There is no way to practice or get better at the game. You are just at the mercy of the algorithm. If you are okay with losing for no reason then great, you will love this game and it’s mechanics. Needs improvementWhen I’m in the middle of the game and receive a notification from another app , I tap the notification from the other app but when I click back it automatically simulates the game. When I even the pause the game it still resumes. This is really frustrating. Also, I need an option to choose a uniform before the game because when I started a match, the other team had the same color jersey. We need to have an automatic home jersey that’s white no matter what so we can tell the difference. We need to know what the other team is wearing in order to play. Also, the madness arena’s mid court logo looks very distracting to the point where I can’t find my players. Also, it would be cool to friend request your opponents so you can play them more often. The game is P2W.Sadly. Had my hopes up for this one. But just like the others it’s a Pay 2 Win. Been in engineering to long to understand. The game will put you in games that you think you’re playing against “real people” but you’re not. You’re playing AI’s who were made fake profiles to increase your hype on a win streak. Notice the same pass, same time responding, same everything. For every game. The 50/60% shot doesn’t matter. For people who are confused and want to try for them selfs, do the win streak game mode. You’ll get bots for your first 5 wins. Noticing your shots with a 5% and 10% will make it every time. No doubt. But once you’re in the 5 win streak, and you get 65+%, you’ll miss every time. It’s to get you to spend money on a poor game. The graphics were nice, but poorly made all round. Don’t waste your time nor money on this game. Fun but frustratingGreat game overall, love the simple controls and gameplay. But the defending controls and AI needs work. Stealing a ball and blocking a shot seem to barely work, triple coverage and players seem to get by and score with ease. Horrible mechanicsYou shoot an open shot 6 times and air ball it six times. Blocking shot doesn’t make sense and contested shot doesn’t make sense. BadEverytime I 1v1 somebody my shots are easy and win, everytime I play a tournament I always lose and I can never get a steal no matter how hard I try, and when I try to block the other players dunk it’s so hard in tournaments but easy in 1v1’s, and apparently i always foul the other players and they always foul me and the game never says it does, I shoot in a 1v1, easily goes in, I make the same exact shot in a tournament and it doesn’t go in..Novastar23491Version: 1.6.7
