REALLY GOOD DOWNLOAD IT!!First off this app is amazing because if you kid or younger sibling let’s say is interested in the weather this is a good app for that! it is not inappropriate parents! if you would like to know if there is bad weather get this app! if you would also like to know if today was a good day to wear shorts get it! i also remembered one time i wanted to wear pants but i wasn’t sure if it was going to be warm or cold, (it was spring) but i checked the weather, (this app) and it told me that it was going to be 78 degrees. so i realized that i should wear shorts and not pants. Not worth demise of Dark SkyI loved Dark Sky which was acquired by Apple and was supposed to be incorporated into Apple Weather. Unfortunately, many of my favorite features of Dark Sky aren’t found in Apple Weather even though they killed Dark Sky. I ride bikes a lot and want to know current and projected wind speed and direction. Even though I have the premium version, I don’t get hourly wind direction. Additionally, I loved that Dark Sky had the Doppler radar satellite mapping thing so you could see the rain coming and going. This doesn’t have that either. It does have a way higher price—so that’s awesome. If I’m missing these features because they just aren’t easy to find or readily available, please let me know. Great for motorcyclesIt has an hour by hour of wind icon that comes with the free basic. You go into settings in app and turn it on. So far so good. I don’t like to pay for weather apps because I I find after a while they become inaccurate. And I don’t want a pop up add every time I want to view anything. It adds locations by itself!Devs please help! The app has my location correct (it always shows the correct place for current location), BUT then it shows recent places and adds one for a nearby town. I try to clear the search history for recent places and it doesn’t work. It keeps coming back even when I don’t search for any other places. The biggest problem is the widget shows the other town no matter what I do. Even if I view my current location again before closing the app. And when I open the app again, it shows the other location it added. I have tried deleting the widget, clearing data, and uninstalling/reinstalling which worked once a month ago, but didn’t work the last two times I tried. Because of this, the widget is unusable and the app is inconvenient so I may as well not have either. I have iOS 17.4.1.IvegotatowerVersion: 3.4.18

I already paid for Dark SkySo I purchased the Dark Sky app and I could get forecasts down to the minute with excellent accuracy. Now Apple purchases and I lose the app?????? Where’s the “real feel” temperature?Just downloaded it. What weather app doesn’t show the actual AND the Real feel temperature? I live in the mid-Atlantic, lots of humidity year around which definitely affects the actual feel of the air temperature. It can affect it by 10 degrees or more. Sometimes doesn’t tell you the actual weather.I was physically getting ready for school, and I checked the weather to make sure I knew what to wear. So, I asked my parents and my mom said, “It’s 43 degrees and it feels like 33,” so I check this weather app on my phone, yet it has to say, “It’s 42 degrees and it feels like 36,” and I don’t really understand why it does that. Dark Sky provided our community with greatly needed data, including humidity and wind speed.
