Enhancing speedstars: Making it a new version of SpeedstarsAs an experienced track athlete who excels in the 100m and 200m dashes, I've thoroughly enjoyed playing Speedstars. However, I believe there's an opportunity to make the game even more realistic and beneficial for players. Currently, the absence of a proper drive phase, a critical component of sprinting technique, makes the gameplay somewhat unrealistic. In real-life track events, maintaining a horizontal body position during the initial phase of the race is crucial for building momentum and achieving optimal top-end speed. Introducing a realistic drive phase into Speedstars, where players stay horizontal for at least 30m or 12-14 steps, would not only enhance the gameplay experience but also serve as a valuable educational tool for understanding sprinting techniques. This change would help players improve their in-game performance while also providing insights that can be applied to real-life track events. I understand that some players may find this adjustment challenging initially, but I believe it would ultimately benefit everyone. If the developers are open to this suggestion, I propose resetting all players' personal bests on the leaderboard and launching "Speedstars 2" to signify the introduction of this new mechanic. A lot of FunWhen it comes to passing time with games on my phone, I play this the most. I’m a track and field fan and I follow the sport pretty closely. It’s rare when a game comes along that really harnesses what makes the sport interesting. The level of detail that goes into the sprinting mechanics of this game truly surprised me. Starting off pretty clunky, I eventually got the hang of it and started improving my times. When it comes to running a race in real life, there are a few phases that happen. The start and drive phase, top speed phase, and the speed maintenance phase. I’m very impressed to see that this game simulates all of that extremely well. On top of that the physics engine makes every race slightly different depending on how you pace your taps on the screen, which affects the athletes stride length, frequency, and ground push. On top of that the game also has customization with different body types that affect your race attributes. There are only two attributes, power and endurance. Power being your explosiveness from the starting blocks and your ability to accelerate to a high top speed. Endurance on the other hand being the athletes ability to maintain a high top speed. The more power an athlete has the less endurance. The more endurance they have, the less powerful they will be. When it comes to the last 40 m of the 100 or the last 100 m of the 200, button mashing won’t get you anywhere. But just like in real life, The athlete that holds their form the best in a race decelerate‘s the slowest. In the game, you must tap the screen in a rhythm that keeps your athletes stride and frequency galloping you down the track. There’s a handful of other things that I could expand on but it’s better experienced. This game might look like your typical button masher, but it’s more of an athletics simulatior with attention to details in all the right areas..Version: 1.1
Free Version LameDefinitely wish I could do some more of the modes, I understand having some sort of premium version that’s better than free but taking out all the customization, and the only mode your aloud to do is the 100 I think is a little overkill. It’s a fun game for about two seconds because your just running a 100m to beat your pr and once you get to like sub 10:30 it takes tons of tries and a good start to pr. All I’m really asking is just give something more than like 1 mode and a tiny bit of customization to free players. It’s called track day who says it needs to be limited to running, the running physics are really cool and unique I couldn’t imagine not being able to do a pull vault or shot put or something with throwing. Give those modes to the paying players and give free players at least hurtles or something just so the game doesn’t get repetitive. I want to give a 2 star but the running mechanics are so cool, hard to learn at first but once you figure it out it’s pretty easy then all you can do is improve your reaction time. I also don’t really like the starting sequence maybe like a gun going of or something, not a ready start and a slowly switching sign it’s kinda hard to tell when to start. Speed starsI’ve been playing speed stars and the release date and I’m glad to say that I’m giving this game a five star review build used to be uneven with people hacking and ruining the game while other people dedicated their time to make them build community which helped me run faster times every single time I play and yes, you have to practice on your tapping rhythm to get faster time and faster miles per hour but it also pays off And credits to the breath for making the game really easier sharing his builds and I’m glad of the reason patch update because like in January it may be February they patch glitch bill now from my experience. I have a glitch build and I ran like a nine 2930 now Took the bill I had to purchase so I am experimenting on social media all of that so then I just read they recently just ran a practice makes perfect. This game isn’t a 10 out of 10 you guys must play. It takes practice and patience and you will get the results you want.Version: 2.43
Game fixesI’m one of the top players in this game, I was top 15 for months at one point. And some of the biggest things that need fixed is 1. Fix the leaderboard, not just the glitchers and stuff but it not loading correctly and not being able to race your weekly which for some reason was taken out recently. 2. The 110 has a big bug right now that will randomly cause the game to crash after restarting a run every so often, I’ve only experienced this in the 110. And the 110 seemed to get a nerf when it comes to the speed u can get up to before the first hurdle, used to u could get up to 20-22 easily before the first hurdle now it seems to be extremely difficult to get to 20 making this event harder to complete at a top level. Other than this every else about the game is amazing I love the concept of it and how it works with rhythm instead of just tap speed..Version: 2.43
Make your own build, and put field events!I love this game it definitely is my favorite track and field game because of the fact that if u run track, this game literally has great track mechanics if you aren't tall u wont run fast these types of things it is amazing, but I would like it if u could edit your build please instead of having to scroll forever to find the build u want that would save time and just make the game better overall I suggest the tallest height to be 6'7 as I think is the tallest hurdler from brasil right now and also if we could begin to implement things like long jump this game would be amazing I would tell everyone I know about it and I am a jumper my self triple jump would be great also if we did this I recommend the same running mechanics but a upward swipe timing to takeoff and and downward swipe timing to land. 4 By 100Speed Stars is a great game overall, but I feel like it should have another thing in it such a online relay race and it could go like this. The first leg runs the curve and then has to hand it off to his teammate and they go down the straight 100 and then so on and so on but the hand off could be like virtual like once you get it into their hand then it automatically gives it to the next person and first to the finish line wins. Just like a regular 100 meter dash but with your friends you can pick and your online versing other online people. My friend and I been thinking about this since like March and we always thought it was a good idea and I think speed stars would get way more people playing if they saw a relay race added into the game and make the game way more competitive. Glorious Game 10/10This game. wow… magnificent, there is really nothing like this on the mobile game market i mean i am astonished by the level of detail, this game made it so people like me in the hood could really make it out im like wow… The level of physics, the level of quality, the level of just straight amazingness is bar none the best in the gaming industry, I have never seen anything quite like it, the physics in this game are so detailed, every tap down to the matter within your fingers touching your iphones OLED display interacting with each and every pixel matters to your MPH count within this game, you make a mistake just like you do the in the hood, your speed goes down, this is amazing, I want the developers to have my babies.Version: 2.17
Great game but could use a progress systemI love the movement system and enjoy the plethora of different events there is to run in. The only thing I would suggest is maybe a sort of progression system like you could have a story mode where you start as a local runner and train your way up. You could also have the ability to upgrade power/stamina of your character . I just think that would be cool. If not, and you want to keep the gameplay purely skill focused, maybe add a 4x200 and the mile. Why can't I stay with my purchaseThis is an awesome game. And especially love how you can buy the full pack for a dollar again super fun and awesome game and thrilling events but I purchased the pack and loved customizing my characters then the next day I woke up and all I saw was default characters and then I thought it was just a slip up and changed to my first character and then it was just all green and I can play the other races but every time I go into customization and then click save it kicks me out every time even after I reset my phone it just keeps kicking me out! Hey so my old problem got fixed but now it lags extremely bad every time I go to start a race or even join the game I keep resetting offloading the app clearing the cachet. It’s just really bad. Great game have some ideasI play this every day but sometimes it gets a little bit repetitive so I would love if there were a few more events added. I loved the recent 4x1 relay but I think a 4x2 or 4x4 relay would be awesome too. (Maybe even shuttle hurdles). But the big thing that I think would be really fun is some field events like triple jump or long jump or high jump. Maybe there’s a third attribute category on every player that factors into jumping like explosiveness or something. It’s alright except for apps and in game helpPlayed this game once and had no idea what to do so I quit, later on after stumbling across a tutorial on TikTok I understood how to play. Instead of making users find their own solutions on how to play they should add a tutorial. Unless you pay it gets kinda boring and the adds in the middle of a race are the worst thing ever. It is annoying, destroys your tempo and strategy and ruins any chance you have of a good run. Please fix this just make the ads wait until after the race is over. It’s also difficult to break 25 mph without having a build which is paywalled so there is no chance of getting wr or even going below 10 sec on 100 meter. Glitched MessWhenever I decide that I wanna play Speed Stars I think I’m going to have a good time but whenever I hop on, it’s always glitching and lagging like one time I was in a race and I was recording for TikTok and what happened was I had to screen record so I can use the green screen effect and my character started freezing up and glitching and they weren’t running. Can you please fix this cause I want to get back to enjoying my game I made 808 views off of one of my videos, and I’m trying to do better and post more videos but you guys just won’t let me be great. SuggestionsI don’t know if you’ll ever see this but this is honestly one of the most fun games I’ve ever played and I love the news updates y’all continue to come out with but if y’all see this some things I think could help improve the game is first being able to name each build or custom. The second thing that may break the game but would make it a lot more fun is if you could create your build by manually adjusting the height or the amount of power/stamina on the build. Very intricateThough at first glance it may just seem like a game where the faster you tap, the faster you go, the physics behind it are actually really fun. The running has a learning curve that is exciting to conquer, and the leaderboards are an attainable goal as the game is small enough to climb rankings easily. I paid the 99 cents to get rid of ads and add character customization and I think it’s worth it. Really fun and I’m spending way too much time on it. Characters ResetI’ve had this game for some years now and believe me, this game is a great game! It has a good variety of races and customization options. However, that’s not why I’m writing this review. I recently reinstalled the game and played it for a bit, until it started glitching out my characters. Didn’t think too much about it til this morning, so I booted the game back up and for SOME reason, all my characters and progress was deleted/reset. I have no idea what I did or if this is a game issue, but I would like an explanation. Very entertainingVery fun game, seriously I was surprised at how much I could enjoy it. It’s super simple as far as the touch controls go, just tapping each side of the screen, but there’s a complexity to mastering the right technique to run fast. It’s definitely not about tapping as fast as you can. My favorite thing is how you can race your ghost, either 1 on 1 or in a full race with other AI. I’ve been hooked on it, and as I’ve gotten better my ghost is harder and harder to beat. Just set a new PR after trying for like a month and I was hype 😂 now to beat this ghost….Version: 2.11
HackersHey long time player here, unfortunately with the addition of runner sharing the spread of hacking has seemed to take turn for the worst. There are multiple world records that have been cheated, and unfortunately the speed records are messed up now. I fell victim to the shared runner, please clean it up when you can. If possible I would love it if you just wiped my speed record completely rather than ban me from my account, I don’t feel as though I earned the speed record, and I feel that a mass ban would be harmful to the player base who may or may not have found a hacked runner. More events and Quality of Life ChangesFirst off I would like to say that this game is really great. It captures the physics and precision of track and field really nicely and also does great in its mechanics. The rhythmic tapping makes it feel like you’re actually building up power to run instead of just blindly tapping like most other running games do. However I do believe there could be more events and quality of life changes such as 4x400m relay event 4x200m relay event Adding a Girl Gender Making it so you tap a button to hop over a hurdle instead of swiping as it can be frustrating and also inconsistent at times Adding field events such as long jump, triple jump, shot put, discus throw, high jump, pole vault, javelin throw, etc Adding a story mode These changes would really take an already great game and make it the greatest mobile game, and i would greatly appreciate seeing these in game 🙏🏽.Version: 2.52

Free stuffThe game is good. It’s a fun game to play, and I enjoy it to some extent. Now, I would love it if you could make the other events and custom builds available for people who can’t pay money, or are not allowed to do that. It would make the game more fun, and make it more fun for people to play the game. Add 800 and 4x400!My father got in a car accident recently and he is hospitalized. Due to his collapsed heart, he is on life support. He is scheduled for heart surgery in a little less than a month, but the odds of him making it are very low. He is a huge track and field fan and loves to play speed stars. Compete against actual friendsI love the game, it was a learning curve, but it’s a great game going in a good direction if managed properly. Perfection at its peakThis game has changed my entire life. Recently I have been going through a deep depression, not really knowing my place in the world. More settings???I really enjoy playing speedsters and how they made it so that you have to find a rhythm to it. If you tap too slow or too fast you you don’t go anywhere but if you hold it and tap it just right you start flying. All I can say is keep fixing bugs like the false starting or even make more customizations too the player model. I also think having a setting where you can choose the songs you want to listen too, some of them be 🔥🔥. SuggestionsI love this game as so much my whole track team was playing it! The addition of the 4x1 relay was perfect it flows so perfect it’s my favorite thing to do now. A 4x1 relay would be cool since it’s getting a little boringSo I’ve been playing for a while now and I’ve realized that other than trying to get a new pb over and over, the game can get a little boring. Good gameThe game is amazing in general. Good animations, good competition, and nice graphics. The only thing I dislike is why the full game isn’t free. The following are the couple changes I would incorporate: Leaderboard, they need to have a more dynamic leader board and fix the people with glitched builds and remove them. Builds, the build feature needs to be tweaked. You should be able to set your own height, power and stam, and body type. About the update…I do appreciate you guys taking out that stupid glitch where you can run horizontally, but the game is a LOT jankier now. Movement doesn’t feel nearly as fluid, my PB is 9.59 so I know for a fact that I shouldn’t be running a 10.6 after a single update. Ideas and thoughtsI’ve been playing this game for a while now and this is one of the best games ive ever seen, but i got some ideas that would make the game WAY better idea #1 MULTIPLAYER Yes although there is somewhat multiplayer, i’d think it would be way better if it is live multiplayer and it can count your medals or placements, or even add RANKED, now im not saying make the gsme full on multiplayer, but add a ranked for online so you can compete with others and win medals, and just being able to compete with friends 1 on 1, this would make a great impact on the fame, making me enjoy it even more. idea #2 COLLISIONS This may be confusing, but hear me out, this is mostly for medley relays, 800M, and hurdles, but lets say that if you are neck to neck with a person in a RELAY/800M race, you guys csn collide and can effect ones form and even stamina, this would make the game more interesting and showing that there are different ways to win for everyone. Next we have HURDLES, if you or someone else collides eith a hurdle, it could/can effect you too, like shaking your screen, or even having you press a button to focus, these would make HURDLES MORE INTERESTING than it already is and will make the game way better. idea #3 TEAM RELAYS addition to relays where you can make a team with friends so you are competing as a team, this will make the fame more enjoyable for multiple friends and can bring some giggles and stuff.
