I’ve never been okay with watching ads before this app.It was hard to find an app that I could find truly enjoyable for not only the content but the ways to achieve the content as well. However I have had this app for about a week and it is by far the best novel app I have downloaded. All the books I have started so far have a certain number of chapters free to read before requiring coins to continue reading. BUT! There are multiple ways to get coins. There are daily gifts for reading. One gift is for how long you read. Reading for 15 minutes gives you 5 coins, 30 gives 10, 60 gives 20, and 90 minutes gives 30 coins. Another gift is simply a daily check in (day 1 starting at 5 and it continues up by 5 until day 7 which gives 50 coins!) There’s also 7 daily ads which give 5 coins per add. On top of all these daily gifts there are also “challenges”! The completion of these challenges give you a certain amount of coins. This app gives the opportunity to watch a certain amount of adds to watch in order to unlock the next chapter. If I’m okay to wait 1-3 minutes to unlock to next chapter instead of using my coins I’m more than happy to do so!! If I can't wait for the next chapter, I use my coins. Clear your afternoon!I’ve had this app for about a month now and have found a few books that I have let slowly invade my life. I am not a fast reader unless I am captivated by a book. And I stopped reading YEARS ago. I couldn’t find anything that interested me. Now I spend the majority of my day reading again thanks to this very app. I never thought that I would get back into reading. The authors are all amazing minds with captivating stories that capture you from the first chapter! The editors need some help grammar and repeating sentences leave you struggling to figure out what the author is trying to say sometimes. You get a free chapter every hour until about the last 20 chapters (for most books) and that is what you save all your coins for. You get reading rewards for up to 90 minutes (read next paragraph for my only issue) and you can watch 5 ads daily to get more coins. I give this app 4 stars in hops that the creators will see this review and hear my only complaint. Why do I have to read on this app for 5 solid hours for the app to sometimes register that I have been reading for “90 minutes” so that I can get my daily reading rewards? Like today for example, I started reading at 1 am it has now been 4 hours and my app says I’ve only read for 15 minutes? Please fix this problem!.RenSageVersion: 2.11.0

Not as advertisedI came across this app on Facebook. It was advertised as not having to pay for books, so I downloaded it. Sure enough, after four chapters of the “hook the customer” book, it’s wanting one to buy coins to unlock chapters, and they don’t come cheap. The chapters are short, as well, making it extremely expensive to read a book. The story for the first book has promise, but it could definitely use the help of a good editor. I’m not sure the stories are worth the price they’re asking. I much prefer the Galatea app where one can unlock a chapter at no cost by waiting six hours. I don’t mind waiting six hours, and I have 20+ books going at one time, so there’s always something to read for free. Have I ever purchased extra points to unlock a chapter earlier? Yes, but it’s my choice not to wait the six hours in that case. No one is holding a chapter hostage until I spend money to unlock a chapter. Their business model is one that this app should consider. Good StoriesOverall, the app offers a wide selection of options to read and even narrows it down based upon your favorite types of stories. Stories are decently written with the ratings fairly accurate to what I would have rated. Surprisingly, it is easy to navigate from the beginning. One of the issues I found is that it isn’t as easy to go back to the settings to rework some of your filters, they are not all in the same location. I normally default to profile but that’s not how it was laid out. On the downside, it it intended for you to pay regardless of how loyal you are to reading. The final 20 or so chapters of the stories can only be unlocked by paying with coins and the app doesn’t offer you opportunities to earn enough doing the freebie rewards to earn enough coins. Another issue some other readers noted, is that the reading time is not registering correctly. Little complaintsI have been using this app for about a month, I don’t have many complaints, but my only complaint is about opening yhe chapters, I personally love to continue reading without interruptions and with this app as well as others I have to stop and wstch the videos to get more coins to be able to read, I am paying monthly for this app, but honestly I don’t see any benefits from it, I don’t get uninterrupted reading, I don’t get any any incentives that I have noticed, so why pay monthly for something that doesn’t benefit me, according to the payment plan I get double coins, honestly I haven’t noticed any of that. Good but the newest update…I was really enjoying this app, enjoying the books and exciting stories and so forth. However that was before the newest update happening. The fact that you have to be limited on the amount of ads you can watch for a chapter - the fact that once you hit that limit you have to now use coins or wait an entire day before you can read more is ridiculous. Before you could watch 1 ad and have 25 minutes taken off of the 1 hour wait before the next chapter. I preferred that method greatly because during that 1 hour wait time I could read other things then come back to the one I was waiting for. Now you have to watch 3 ads to unlock the chapter but after you do it five times you’re locked out from doing it again. Don’t waste your time.Just when you really get into the book you’re stuck having to purchase coins to finish it. The timer counts down the hour for the chapter to unlock and then resets so you can’t read anymore. Total waste of time. Update: there’s still a lot of room for improvement. It takes a huge amount of coins to read one book (well over $30) and most of them aren’t edited. You can unlock like 5 chapters (3 ads each if you don’t have coins) you do earn coins every day for reading (but will need to be reading multiple books at once to collect) one chapter could be 10 coins. The next could be 50+ coins. There’s no consistency. I’d definitely be willing to pay monthly/yearly subscription for unlimited reading but the subscription only allows extra daily reward coins and extra coins on purchases. Add Amount of Chapters to Books!I’ve read part of a couple books so far and they are really good, despite some errors with the writing which is usually easy to understand what the author is trying to say, but I don’t know when the books are going to end and it drives me nuts! If we are to pay for a certain amount of chapters, I would like to know how many there are so I know what I would have to pay for if I can’t get enough free coins. Also, the amount we have to pay for shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg. I’m only on Chapter 13 of a book and it says I need like 3,000 coins or whatever to finish and that’s like $30 worth of coins. That’s the price of ONE hardcover book! We shouldn’t have to pay so much just to read some books. In-app currencyThe app and its features and books are very nice however the in-app currency prices are a bit… high. Sounds dumb i know but hear me out. I understand that apps such as these need ways to make money and support their writers however there are free ways to get the in-app currency includes, reading for preset periods of time or leveling, which is not the problem. While you can read multiple books simply to get the coins for completing the read times they are often not enough to read on and unlock chapters and leveling requires you to spend coins on things that aren't reading in order to level up and get the promised coins. This makes it even harder to unlock chapters without spending real money on coins, which isn’t always an option for readers. What’s with the update?So, I woke up to an update. Like I do with all of my apps I check in for my daily rewards and then with this app I click on a chapter to unlock it. I’m okay with waiting the hour because I unlock all the characters I can and then read. Plus, it’s an hour which is tons better then some apps. Imagine my surprise when I try to unlock a chapter, the same chapter that was in the process of unlocking before the update) and I have the option for an ad instead. Ads are cool, but why not give the option to wait for the Auto Unlock along with the ad and coin option? I don’t know how many ads it allows in one day before you have to wait the next day, but I’m sure it’s not many (as with other apps). That’s just disappointing.NikeytaVersion: 2.19.0

Don’t like the recent changesI’ve been reading on this app for a few months and have found quite a few great stories. And I was quite happy to wait the hour to read the next chapter or watch the occasional ad to gain coins. But in the last few days I’ve found that none of the stories I’m reading have the hour wait as an option. And I have to watch ads or buy coins instead to read the next chapters. I’m not a wealthy person. I’m actually barely scraping by financially and reading is one of the few joys I have. Is it worth it?There is a lot of pros and cons to this app. Do you have to spend money to read? No Do do you have to wait for chapters to unlock? Yes Can you spend money to unlock those chapters? Yes Is the pricing consistent? No (I would get different pricing for different chapters in the same novel) If you get the subscription could you avoid the timer? No, the cool down will just cut down to 30min instead of 60min. I enjoyed the story’s on the app and liked that there was a 60 min timer to unlock each chapter instead of out right paying for them. I also don’t mind paying to unlock each chapter. That’s if the pricing was consistent or even worth it. Why do I have to pay 25-30 coins for some and then 40 for others, especially if they are in the same novel. Oh and if you plan on buying the alpha novel plus make sure to keep in mind that the only thing it does is make things a little easier. You still have to do all the other daily stuff to get coins, you get a certain percentage off for coins. It doesn’t even get rid of the timer, it just lowers it to 30min instead of 60min. I love this app but…I love this app. It’s been giving me everything I need but since the app updated I have had to be stuck on all chapters that I know have all the timer countdowns on. They are free still but everytime my timer has gone all the way down to where I can read it the timer restarts. I don’t know if anyone else is having this problem. This all started at 12am last night and I have been trying to read my chapter but the timers are constantly restarting no matter what. I have removed the app from my phone and redownloaded it. My thoughtsAll in the this app is great. You do have to wait a hour between chapters or you could spend coins. They have multiple options on ways to earn coins by watching videos though you only get 5 videos every 24 hours or so and each video is worth 5 coins. You can also read for a certain amount of time and get coins for that. They have a pretty decent amount of books to choose from. My only problem is that you have to pay to read chapters when you get close to finishing a book. And also you can’t read views on books before you read them you can only read a synopsis and see how many people viewed the book. Could be a 5 Star Review but NOI enjoy the books/stories on this app, but it is difficult to fully get the bonus for reading because it doesn’t register correctly. I will be reading for HOURS and not even register 15 or 30 minutes of reading. Then I have to close the app and restart & MAYBE it works. It is a hassle because those coins are suppose to be awarded for time spent reading, well, i spend HOURS on this app and most times i barely get the bare minimum of the bonuses. Another issue i have is the updates. I have gotten really interested in several stories that either take MONTHS to update or just never do. Alpha Novels/ the change!!!!This is the first app for books that I’ve found that is the best!! Fair and it gives you the opportunity to get coins to continue reading!!! The only thing is when I started reading you could cut times in half by watching an ad please bring that back it’s better way better!! In my earlier review I was happy that I found an app that was enjoyable , but that was taken away because now I have to wait for long periods of time to actually complete a book . Best app!Out of all the novel apps I’ve read this is by far my Favorite! Not only are the stories so amazing and addicting, but you only have to wait an hour for the next chapter to unlock and there’s an option where you can watch an ad to half that time to around 25 minutes! All the apps I’ve read on, always made me wait 6 hours to a whole day! The chapters are a bit expensive but if you log in and read for an hour everyday, it’s fairly easy and simple to make coins! Reading my first storyThe plot line is typical, billionaire playboy falls in love with poor-ish girl, love at first sight thing. The grammar seems awkward. People do speak using contractions but it seems like the story I’m reading was autocorrect to remove contractions. This makes it sound like it’s trying too hard to be proper English. A natural conversation from the 19 year old female character would have her speak more casual, not forced. So far by chapter 6, I’ve found missing quotation marks. I went back to the last sentence and the last sentence has open and closed “ “ marks but the next sentence only has the closed “. Maybe it’s just a pet peeve of mine. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I know these stories haven’t gone through a publisher but seriously, basic 4th grade English. Love this app but this update is killing me !!I don’t even do reviews but I’ve had this app for a few months now and out of all the novel apps, this one has kept my interest and attention for way longer. Now while I definitely downloaded this app so I can read some free novels, I’ve also spent a good amount on them too, But what I LOVED about this app is that you could wait a hour for a new chapter to be up, or watch an ad and half that time. Honestly love the app.I love this app, I really do. Although, sometimes I can barely read because the spelling is so bad. But, all the chapters I read, have been amazing. At the end, it’s says that I cannot wait an hour to get a free chapter anymore, and that’s fine with me unless it’s like 40 coins for one chapter. GoodThis app is great because you can read and do other challenges to get coins in the beginning. This would have been given 5 stars except in the beginning of each book you can opt to wait an hour to unlock a chapter. Then it changes to coins only when you’ve reach a chapter in the 70’s once you’re hooked. Of course you have to purchase coins to finish the book since the chapters are small and you end up reading 5 pages for one chapter and can’t possibly read long enough to get coins through the daily reading challenges. Variety of titles and charactersThe variety of stories and characters development is amazing. Variety of themes will keep a reader engaged as the characters develop and their story unfolds…intrigue, drama, romance, suspense, and the supernatural worlds will have you at the edge of your seat and mind as you try to figure out what will happen next…only to find yourself continue to read proving if the guess is right or wrong. Lies!Reading alpha Rick and in the book description area it say FREE chapter every 1 hour. The last 20 chapters need coins to unlock. Well I’m about 25-30 chapters away from the last 20 and nothing has unlocked in 9 hours. I’m down to pay for the last 20 chapters but paying for every chapter in an 80 chapter book? No way. The amount of pages in every chapter changes as well as the amount of coins. The stories are good but the editing is crap. You’ll end up spending $40ish dollars or possibly more on what amounts to a $7 paperback. I’m gonna try and free coin my way threw this one book. Perfect butttThis is absolutely perfect except for the face that I appear to have a lag? I've been grinding new books and it won't let me check the daily gifts. 30 minutes have passed and I'm close to 90 and I have 2 hours before it resets. Is there anyway I can get it to fix it? DisappointedThe story line of the book I’m reading is good, but the grammar is horrific. They give you a few chapters free to get you hooked, but then the chapters are more expensive (sometimes more than double) to unlock than other apps, and inconsistent in the number of coins needed to unlock a chapter. There are ways to obtain free coins like daily rewards, watching videos, and reading for a specific period of time. You can also purchase coins, but they won’t last long with some chapters costing 70 coins to unlock (another app I’ve used every chapter is 33 coins). Just signed upStarted using this app and I had to agree to pay $6.99 a month with a free 3 day trial just to start using this app, but once I got into it and started reading, I still had to buy coins as well. Favorite Book AppI really love this app. It has such a wide variety of books and authors. So far I’ve loved every book I have begun to read or have finished reading. I do wish there was more ways to receive more free reading points other than the daily double that I am subscribed too. I was hoping that with the subscription I would be able to read more often and get more points. It would help me read the books and use the app more, especially when the points to read chapters keep rising as you get further. Please bring back hour unlockI actually enjoy the app! but this is the second time this app has taken away the hour unlock feature and replace it with a new one. this new feature forces you to watch 3 ads just to read one chapter but you only get so many of those in a day. this makes it extremely difficult to read enough to unlock all the coins for reading minutes. i enjoy the books more when i can wait an hour and come back to the book, its just frustrating watching 3 mins worth of ads just to read a chapter that might only be 6 pages. I like it but…I’ve had the app for a few months now and I liked the app until yesterday. The whole point of me choosing this app was that I could wait just one hour to unlock chapters. Ads are wrongWhen I found this app on Facebook it said chapters were free. I get the app and chapters one through seven of a book I’m on are free. I get to right and I have to either use coins or wait an hour. I’ve been waiting an hour in between each chapter and honestly I don’t mind that. Im on chapter 78 of said book and now all the sudden I have no choice but to buy coins. And even with the daily free coins it’s not enough for one to two chapters and the chapters are so small it’s sorta infuriating. With all this being said the stories are so good so far. Engaging StoriesStories are great with lots of genres to choose from. I also like the tasks to coins bit, and how it’s very easy to rack up them up saving you some money. The top up packages are reasonable. My only complaint is the cost per chapter that can get especially pricey if your not careful. Overall great app functions well without glitching. Was great at first but now very disappointedFirst started reading books on this app because you could unlock chapters in an hour instead of 8 hrs like another app I was using. Also gaining coins to unlock chapters was pretty easy for the most part. But now it won’t unlock chapters after an hr anymore. It’s just straight coins. Love the app, But…..irritated!I downloaded this app close to a year ago and up until yesterday I have read many many books on this app. Never had a complaint until yesterday when I tried to open the app and it did nothing but buffer. Today as well, but today not only did it buffer it gave me a blank screen. I have tried deleting and redownloading and it still won’t open. Book readers!!This app has some amazing books. Very pleased to read daily. The books catch your attention and make it hard not to read. As someone who does read pretty fast though it’s hard when you run out of coins so fast and I have to stop reading and wait. Did the free chapters go away?First, I LOVE this app!! One of the main reasons why I have been reading for several months is because of the chapter unlock after an hour. Not a fan!The story I read was ok. What is irritating is the process! I read fast. I don’t mind paying for a book. But after spending $20 in coins to get through the chapters that were starting to get repetitive, I’m no where near the end of the book so I switched to waiting an hour for the chapter to unlock. Each “chapter” is 7-9 pages, and while I enjoyed the book, it’s not worth >$20. I’d buy plenty of books IF they were reasonably priced just because I enjoy them. The billionaires double lifeThe story is pretty good. The only thing is when things say read for free. It should be not a limited amount like five chapters which is a second long, but a five minute video that is ridiculous. The price to read a book. Are you out of your mind, this is why I gave you a three reading free means free. It doesn’t mean you have to watch a five minute or two or three videos to read a half a second I’m not interested in buying a book or paying for a book. Wonderful storySo far I am really loving the storyline, even though I’m still in the early chapters of the first story. HOWEVER this recent update of Ad watching to unlock and limitations of said ads is a bit overdone. I understand making sure the authors are rewarded but why limit the amount of adds one can watch in a day. I’d suggest if you want your current readers to stay loyal to your application that you change something quickly or you will lose a lot of readers. I know you give so many free but maybe instead of the last 20 chapters you having to spend coins you change to the the last half of the book or last 50 chapters and leave the others as the waiting an hour, or 1 ad to unlock the chapter.. This ad watching is for the birds to not be able to read more than 5 chapters in a day. You really need to reconsider your chapter unlocking options! Or you will lose many readers! Rejecting my Lycan MateWhen I download this app and start reading the book, REJECTING MY LYCAN MATE, I receive free chapters, but when I download the app, it told me that I would receive a free chapter every hour, and at first yes I did receive. Great books… awful prices.It’s sad that the authors of these amazing books are going to miss out on people finishing them due to the greed of the app developers. It is outrageous the amount of money you have to spend to try and make it through one book. Yes, you give rewards and allow ad watching for coins and unlocking chapters but at the rate someone can get these things to make some chapters free they will eventually lose interest and stop reading the book(s)/using your app all together. I’d like to give more stars but…I loved this app when I first got it, chapters would unlock after an hour. It was totally free except the last 10-20 chapters (depending on the book). Which gave you plenty of time to save up the coins from daily rewards & reading rewards. But since the new update there are 3 ads you must watch in between chapters. Which would be fine if they didn’t limit to only 5 chapters per day per book. I get these authors need to get paid and right fully so because a lot of these books are really good & beautifully written. Pay to read grammar errors all dayI used this app well over a year. Read a-lot of the stories on here, the variety is great. However, the stories have a-lot of grammatical errors, the chapters are 6-12 pages max. Great if you are able to do quick reads, not for me. Awful changeThis app use to be my favorite for reading stories. You would have to wait one hour for a new free chapter for the majority of the book, then for the last dozen+ chapters, pay/use coins for them. I could read several books and not spend a fortune. The most expensive story you will ever readI downloaded the app knowing there would be fees associated with unlocking chapters. What I was not prepared for was the price per chapter going up the further you get into the story. A few hours in $15 down and I was on chapter 40 of over 175 chapters. The novel is written by a teenage boy whose first language is clearly not English, and even though this is an expensive subscription to read books, the app didn’t bother to hire a proper English as a first language editor. There are a ton of misspellings, use of language that is not how English speakers speak or write, character names are confused with each other, which makes it an interesting experience, trying to figure out what character is actually in the scene, and totally immature, interactions between the male and female characters that would never happen in proper adults.
