So disappointed!I was so excited to find this game because I love word games and was looking for one that was Christian based. However I am now so very disappointed! It is impossible to get past solving one puzzled without an ad coming up. I can do something else to wait for the ad to end but not only are the ads non stop, they are horrible ads. Whoever invented the Wordscapes series must have a wicked mind. The ads are for games featuring babies and a mother of little children and a mother who have horrible things happen to them. What an awful game. I don’t have to download those games but I’m sick of those ads over and over again. And on this Biblescapes game you literally can’t get past one level without those awful ads popping up. On top of that, on the bottom of the screen are gambling games scrolling. My 6 year old grandson loves to play word games with me but I can’t let him play this game with me because of the numerous awful ads. Even if the ads were benign, there are way too many on this game. Great game BUT…This game started out great! My 9 year old cousin downloaded it on my phone and we’ve been playing it for a little while. She and I liked it so much, I decided to go ahead and pay for the ‘ad free’ version. And that’s when the problems began… First, I didn’t get what I paid for, the ads were still there. Second, the game started lagging very bad, I can’t even get through a whole level without it freezing. It’s been stuck on the same level for a few days now and we have to exit out of the game and start over, all for it to freeze again. I went to the help center and reported the issue and I’ve heard nothing back from them. After a couple of days of the same issues, I just requested a refund. Do not partake, disturbing to Christians and distressing.To say the least, this app is disgusting and un educational. This evening, I decided to allow my twin children, Adam and Eve, to partake in the experience this game promised. At first, this game was quite nice but didn’t allow my children to “grow closer to god” like the description had advertised. The words consisted of tea and eat, which I find highly inappropriate because tea is not in the Bible. I also have complaints about the despicable ads on this app. In the middle of a round, Eve, who is only 7, received an add about taking an “am I gay?” quiz. Being a devoted christian,member of the church, and happily married to a pastor, I do not tolerate any talk of this LTGB nonsense. I refuse to expose my children to the culture of confused teenagers being influenced by the internet to start liking the same gender and will be filling a report. Lastly, I would like to complain about how this game has affected my children so far. My sweet little Adam had suddenly gotten into something called “Minecraft.” To my knowledge, this game is centered around destroying the digital version of the earth God has given us. I find this disgusting because of the blatant disrespect towards our creator. (I would like to mention that my son got an add for Minecraft while playing this game). I am terribly worried that this experience holyscapes has given my son access to will influence him to destroy what God has given us outside of the iPad. Obviously, I have now begun requiring Adam to go to reconciliation for this sin and will be taking him to Church every day after school to become truly influenced by our Lord and savior. As for my sweet Eve, no other problems for her. However, she has been deeply affected by the gruesome ads and has been going to consulting in both the church and with my husband. Discrimination against Christians :(I’ve been playing the “atheist” version of Wordscapes for a while and it doesn’t force me to watch 60-sec long ads every few minutes. I was happy to discover the Christian version of this game but very disappointed that if I want to play it, I’m forced to watch ads :( Both versions of the game offer in-app purchases, but only the Christian version forces players to watch advertisements. Why??? Everything about both versions of this game is the same, so why are Christians punished with having to watch the ads if they want to play? Reviews are deletedPlease whatever you do. Do not give money to this app. You’ll see that it’s fine at first but if you play very long then it is full of glitches. You’ll get puzzles that are incoherent. In other words it comes up with words that do not exist. You’ll get puzzles with words off the screen that you can’t even see and words with letters that are not even in the puzzle. Once you get there then there is no way to get past it onto the next puzzle unless you spend all your coins. In spite of writing to the designers there is no answer and it has not been fixed. No contact on gameI have been playing this for a year now and suddenly the app is glitching and popping up with AD after AD while in the game. When trying to contact developers to inform of issue, there is NO contact information available. I absolutely enjoy this game and it’s very relaxing for me but I can’t even do anything on it at the moment. I tried to pay for the AD FREE version and that does NOTHING! Too many adsStarted out great, but if you got to the higher double digits level, then it gets too many ads after each level is completed. You can attempt to X out of the ad, but the ad pops up and starts playing before you are even given the chance to X out of it. What’s the point of the ad after every level if I do not get more coins not can I exit out before it plays? Not to mention there’s already a banner of ad at the bottom of every level. App is freezing my iPhone and iPadThis game was a lot of fun for a long time. I played it almost every night. However, l stopped playing it because the performance is so slow. The app freezes on both my iPhone and iPad. Neither device is old. When I hold my finger and go from one letter to another, it doesn’t keep up. Word gameI am disappointed as I can be, such a shame for a game with bible verses and questions. My problem began when I downloaded the game onto my iPad. Ads all the time, some would not release the game no matter which button was pressed. So I paid the $2.99 for ad free, .. it is not ad free! How is thisI’m not too sure how this game uses my data even though data is completely off and the game is blocked from using data. Ads are constant. I get that ads can be queued while connected to data but once I close and re-open the app it shouldn’t have ads queued up. Get Rid of the ads!!I love this game!! The ads turn me off. It gets really frustrating when I can’t enjoy the challenge when an 60 sec ad pops up and then a 30 sec ad pops up.
