It used to be a worthwhile client, but they’ve gone off the deep end with four or five force-pinned advertisement fake channels at the top of the view, pop up ads, ads in the middle of chats for their dumb currency, etc. Which would itself be bad enough, but they’ve added that instead of updating their app to fit iPadOS 26, and it’s unusably bad in its current state. You can’t back out of some of the ads without accidentally minimizing the window, similarly it’s hard to not minimize the window while skipping through video. It was nice, now it’s become annoying.I’ve used nicegram for a long time, but one of the latest updates added a “create your own sticker” button that pops up first thing when you open the sticker tab. Updates fix nothing. (Once again)After months of total radio silence from the NiceGram developers we get an update that introduces even more bugs and fixes literally none of the already existing ones. The app is not usable to this day for a majority of the userbase and there’s never been any acknowledgement from them that there’s even a problem. To them, It dosent exist apparently! Exactly what happens? You open the app. try to open any chat or group and if it works, You were lucky. Many of us can’t do that because the app freezes at this exact point 100% of the time. Although you can see messages coming in still! You won’t be able to interact with anything no matter what you do. (Trust me, I’ve tried everything myself) Why does it happen? No idea. I’m not a programmer. But they are and we’ve reported the issue many many times. Honestly, at this point I can’t tell if it’s incompetence or a total scam.
