Tempt: Romance Audiobooks Customer Service

I absolutely love this app. You get so much for so little. You can listen to free books. I believe that it updates every week too. But you have to pay to listen to the rest of the series which is okay because they are cheaper than every other app. You can buy a whole series for $12 or less or you can be on an unlimited plan, like me. You can read all the books at any time. These are really good books too. So so so SPICY just how I like. I always recommend this app to ppl. If your thinking about it just do it. You would save more money if you just do the unlimited. Thanks for creating this app!!!

I’ve only had the app a week or so, and I’ve been enjoying it so far. I have only listened to one book, usually while I’m driving. So far, the only this I’m not a huge fan of is that it doesn’t save my spot in a chapter if I have to pause it and disconnect my phone from my car. I either have to start the chapter over or remember where I left off, which when I’m driving, isn’t a thing I’m able to do. I haven’t attempted a paid subscription yet, satisfied with the free options for the moment, but could see a potential for the subscription in the future, especially during the summer when I’m doing more driving.

I ABSOLUTELY love this app! The narrators are more animated, & I can actually envision the characters, & settings of the stories. Tempt readers actually sound like storytellers unlike the monotoned robot voices that read books on other apps I’ve experienced. I really love how some readers have different accents according to what character they’re reading for, especially the male readers with their deep voices.🥴 The stories are amazing & keep you engaged! My ONLY wish is for more black heroine stories (my personal preference are interracial experiences).

Boy I just love the idea of being able to read without lifting a finger or remembering where I left off. I also don’t miss standing in lines at the bookstore or library to either buy or check out a book. Even worse wanting to read said book and it’s unavailable ugh. Well no more Tempt has solved my dilemma and to make things even sweeter they have unlimited choices. Yassss unlimited choices!!! I’m not stuck reading some old dull drab love story that wouldn’t even excite my grandmother lol. Thanks Tempt please keep up the good work. By the way ya could drop the price a bit that’s why 4 instead of 5 stars.

I have done countless hours of research and I am an avid reader I read several books a month and unlike other apps where I was disappointed where I had to pay a fee for one credit a month I can read all I want and I will never get bored because they have various styles of romance books if I could make an app for romance books I would make one just like this one I love it!

I listen to a lot of audiobooks and have been looking for something like this for awhile. I am an unlimited subscriber which works out well for me. So far I love the narration, this was a problem on some of the other platforms I tried. I would have given it 5 stars if I had the ability to listen offline. I don’t mind streaming but I travel a lot and am either on a plane or out in the boonies where I don’t always have good WiFi or cell service. Otherwise I would recommend this to anyone who loves romance books!

Pro- Finally an app for all the books I enjoy with so many ways to narrow down the genre and specifics that I’m looking to listen to that day. I have also listened to books that I usually didn’t on Audible because of price or didn’t want to use a credit for a novella split up book. Cons- a little expensive for unlimited weekly access so tried the 3 month option for set price right now.

This is not the most sophisticated audiobook app out there. It has no rating system. The graphic interface is a little unsophisticated… BUT there are some surprisingly good authors and books. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ There are always new titles coming, and I’ve actually found some really good series because of this app. I love how you can add the entire series with one click. I wish all other apps had that one! 🙌🏻

I have been a member of an audiobook website/app for over 25 years. Yes, seriously. The same one with a monthly subscription where I get 2 books a month for around $25 plus a “free with subscription” selection of romance books. However, if you are just interested in romance books TEMPT is THE APP that you should be using! Unlimited audiobooks a month for less $ than the one that “shall not be named”. (Nod to HP…) Thank you for this new app!

As an audiobook influencer on IG & TT I’m always looking for a great book to read and this app has so many options and you get them all with your subscription! Lexi C Foss, Jenika Snow, and so many other spicy favorites. The app is easy to use and navigate, I highly recommend if you’re looking for a cost effective way to listen to a lot of audiobooks but still want to see your favorite authors compensated.

This has been an amazing experience for me. I love audio books! There are many ways to be able to find your preferences to. I pay the 50$ one that comes out every 3 months! So worth it because it’s less than 20$ a month. And I get full access to all of the books. I’ll never regret it :). Keep the books coming great app

If you listen to multiple books a week on increase speed, this is the economical way to get your background noise. Wide variety of offerings that can be somewhat repetitive, but if you are a trope based reader, this is 100% for you. Do the unlimited as lots of the books are under 8 hours.

I am really enjoying this app. I have both Tempt & Audible and it is really nice to pay 1 monthly fee and be able to listen to as many books as you want. It would be nice to be able to type in the search bar instead of having options to choose from. Will you be adding new authors & narrators?

So far, all the books have been good quality and entertaining. The only thing I’d shift in the app is the ability to change which books I was originally looking for. At first I wanted paranormal but now I’m settling into humorous. I’d like ability to change preferences in the profile section.

This app is amazing! It’s a small fee, but you have access to loads to audio books in different genres! I listen to the books on this app every single day! Perfect for when you are at work and still want to get your pages in for the year!

Only reason giving 4 stars is we don’t have an actual search bar. Is we do.. I can’t find it. I love all the books though, easy to use otherwise. I do find the pricing odd. Per week it’s a lot. But you do get unlimited hours of audiobooks without having to buy each book individually. I suggest the 3 month pricing as it’s the best and I can justify that price.

I love listening to the books when I’m in the road or when I’m at work. I have yet found any problems with the app yet. The only thing I wish it had was a better search engine for the books other than that don’t change a thing.

I absolutely love it and have been using it for almost a year now. However i would love to be to download books to be able to listen to them offline as i work as a delivery driver in a spotty cell service area. (It also skips chapters and sometimes tries to skip whole books in series, due to the spotty cell service)

I listen to a lot of books so I like that I don’t have to buy each individual book and can listen to as many as I want for one flat rate. If you aren’t looking for something specific the recommendations after you finish a series are usually pretty good.

I love that when you play for the subscription you get to listen to an unlimited amount of book instead of getting a few coins every month that only last a short time before having to refill. The story’s are great!

I used to read a lot of the romance apps on social media, but they got really expensive and there were very few that had an audio option, but it sounded like a it was a computer generated voice. And that made it very easy to get distracted. I really like the chili pepper ratings also! Lol 🌶️🔥🥵💦😂💀

I’ve never been one to like audio books. I like the feel of an actual book in hand. The smell of the pages as they age. That was until now! I have found that I can listen while I work and love it!

This app is great it has a lot of stories and they have sequels that just pull you in even more !!!! The best thing to do on my opinion it to get the $8.99 weekly unlimited subscription because you can go from one book to another right away!!! It awesome and I’m so invested in the lives of these story characters!!!!

Because of my work I drive a lot and buying more credits for audiobooks was getting expensive. This is more than worth it. In addition, I’ve discovered authors that I never heard of but enjoy a lot.

I have been reading these books digitally online and when I saw this ad on IG that there were audio versions… I checked it out and I’m hooked. The way the app is set up, the layout, user friendly and appealing design, everything is great.

Love this app, it’s the only app I could find where you can listen to as many audiobooks as you want! All the other apps only give you a certain amount of books a month. Great for anyone who loves spicy audiobooks:)

Love this app. I’m able to listen/read a book while working, the only interruption I have is a phone or people calling or asking and having to have to stop. So glad to find an app like this!

The audiobooks are very engaging I always listen while driving or when doing shores at home even when I’m going to bed it helps me relax and fall asleep. The shows are really good too I recently started to watch them.

I usually heard the romance novels on Utube. But sometimes they don’t have all the books and your left wondering what happened, not anymore. I get to hear all the books and in order. Money well spent.

So far I’m loving this app! The subscription price is about the same if not cheaper than audible, and it’s unlimited listen! There isn’t many mainstream books on here but there is some really good ones!

I enjoy this app . If you enjoy smut Romance audio books I recommend this app. It’s saved me plenty of money compared to having to purchase each reading book on other apps

The app is worth the money. I love audio books and this has a huge selection and you pay a monthly fee instead of having to buy each book.

So worth the $ each month. I’m on the road traveling for work a lot, so I listen to the radio alot. Listening to these stories with different character voices is perfect for those long drives. Again, so worth the monthly pymt!

I am loving being able to clean my house while listening to the exceptional voice actors perform these very well written novels! I have only listened to 1.5 so far but I’m already a fan of this app!

Love the selection of authors and narrators. Also enjoy the ability to sort books by tropes and authors. Would love the option to also search by narrator. It will search some narrators but not all.

Help! I love this app. I love audiobooks as I listen to them as I’m driving. But with this app I’m confused of where the purchased books go if you don’t add them to your “to read” list. It would be great if there was a purchased books area. Thanks ❤️

I love the story and the narrator are amazing. I used to have to spend about $100 plus $9.99 for sub just to get through a chapter in Chapters. I spent $52 for 3 months and I get all the audio books…I’m loving it

This definitely beats audible! I love the unlimited access and the stories! Fire!! Is there anyway to be able to download the books for travel purposes??

This App has the genre I want. They are new novels compared to other app I pay for. It’s my guilty pleasure! No matter what I’m doing, I have it playing and sometimes I rewind in case I missed something. Really Awesome App but I wish it could sync with my iPhone too.

I find the books are easy to read and I find it good story I can close my eyes and fall right to the story like I’m in the story I feel how they would feel and act sometimes it’s nice to get away in mind from the real world and in brace the world of fantasy

It’s worth the subscription. Many great audio books of a good verity of tropes. I love that you can search by trope and when the book is done it says finished. Other apps don’t have that

This is the best app for steamy romance. And it’s free!!! Best app in my phone.

I purchase a little over 40$ worth of audiobooks before I broke my phone. When I finally got a new phone, I was the told at that time tempt was not available on IOS and I would have to wait to restore my purchases because they would not offer any credit/refunds. Finally MONTHS LATER and months of no responses…. I was able to download the app again. I reached out to them to inform them of the issues I’d had, forwarded my entire email thread from months ago, only to be told that the books do expire and we inform our customers of that. When I literally corresponded with someone via email letting them know I had NO ACCESS TO THE APP! They refused to give me any type of credit toward my purchases and two books they said were not expired (value of $5.99 out of $40 something) would placed on my account. Update: THEY WERE NOT!

Please add an actual search area where one can type what they are looking for in your app. Very frustrating that you put a search icon but it only leads to types of books like paranormal to search and then all under that type comes up. For an authors search you have to search through them as they are not in alphabetical order. An actual search feature that one can type would be heaven sent and I do not understand why it has never existed. In all purposes the app should have a simple search function like other book apps. I am hoping that you will get rid of the mandatory wording that comes up every time to allow messages from the app. One should have to only respond once.

This app is okay—it clearly has some amazing authors in here. However, I'm not sure it's worth the cost, at this time. It's new, so maybe it'll still evolve and that'll change. At this time though, the app is extremely limited, functionality-wise. It crashes and glitches fairly often, so it's not my first choice as a listening app. BookFunnel, which I use for free, is far superior. Also, it doesn't seem to accurately list titles? I just binged a 5-book series and was VERY confused for 3 of those books ... before doing research online and realizing that Tempt has them numbered all wrong. I recommend looking up any series elsewhere instead of going by Tempt's information.

Gave this app a try after multiple ads marketed that the books and I mean tons of books were free to read. So I gave it a shot downloaded the first book that was free. I was able to read it. Got super excited until I finish the book. And of course it wasn’t finished and if I wanted to continue reading, I had to do a monthly subscription. So after further investigation into their free books, it’s a handful less than a dozen and a free section that all are part of the bigger series to try to sucker you into spending money. So disappointed. Back to Kindle unlimited in my local trustee library where everything is free.

I’m on day three of the app. One book in. I’m enjoying it! Update: I am not sure if it’s just the current book or what but it isn’t keeping my spot. I hit pause and kill the app. When I opened it this morning it was at the end of the book. Odd. I found my place and listened for a while. Hit pause, killed the app and worked for a few more hours. Got in my car and it was at the end of the book again. So odd. Also, it won’t play on my car Bluetooth worth a dang. I end up listening to it on speakerphone.

I actually think it’s a beautiful app as it’s obvious this was going to be the thing to draw us in. I would love to see more vampire stories, as the wolves are overshadowing them. I’m not the biggest werewolf fan as they tend to have more rage and run hot, but i’m giving it a three month trial to see what you give us with the vampires. I hope more stories of my morally grey men who stalk the nights gets added in that time frame. And regular vampires would be nice, they don’t need to be military or mafia. Thank you kindly.

I absolutely loved this app. The storylines are great. I am an avid reader and when I found this app I was overjoyed with all the hours. I do mean HOURS of listening I was able to do. But suddenly I have to buy the books now. WT, guess I will be deleting this app now. I just knew it was too good to be true. It’s no different from any other audiobook app. Overpriced! Guess I will be going back to Kindle to search for books now.

I’ve enjoyed using Tempt for the past year but this most recent price hike is crazy! It was about $80 for 6 months, now it’s $55 for 3. Feels like they should give loyal subscribers a price break. Additionally, it’s frustrating that they let you ‘heart’ authors, but then don’t give you any kind of alert when new publications from one of your favorite authors has come up on the app.

I was really starting to get into this app. Enjoying listening to the stories, but now it won’t open anymore and just says there’s no connection. I have closed it, restarted my phone. Looked for an update, but nothing. Hope this fixes itself sooner then later or I’ll be forced to find another similar app.

I just got this app two days ago and when reading my first book, everything was perfect but now I’m moving onto my second book. The app no longer plays when my phone is on the lock screen and I use this app to play while I work and I can’t leave my phone on while I’m at work so is this a bug? Is there a way to fix this if so I would love to hear back

I wanted to finish the series I was listening to so I paired the weekly subscription, after which I still couldn’t listen to anymore books. I emailed the customer service team and they said to wait a day for the charge to go through, I did, it charged my card but I still can’t listen to anymore books. I emailed them again, no response. Go spend your money on something worth it, AKA not this app.

I love the idea of a romance audiobook service, but the app is not done well. The search is not easy to use. The experience of actually listening is not great, the audio pauses unexpectedly throughout. And there is not option to download and listen offline! This is a huge detractor, since I mainly listen outside of the house. And finally, while they have a large selection, you won’t find any well known authors or narrators. I like supporting indie authors, but I also want to be able to find the ones from bigger names I’ve been waiting to read. Needless to say I will not be continuing after my free trial.

Keeps pausing and unpausing. Really really annoying. This app was WAY to expensive for it to not work properly. Also the spiciest novels are not really THAT spicy.

I really enjoy the books and don’t mind the selection but what the price you have to pay it is extremely disappointing that there is no option to download and listen to them offline. And the fact that there is no actual search bar is frustrating. I will not be buying again

They break something that’s a single book into 4, in my listening case. If you decide to subscribe you either pay weekly for around $6 for 1 book/ weekly(or monthly I can’t remember) or $12 a week unlimited books. It’s a single book, not a series. It wouldn’t even read like a series. So if I wanted to finished a single book I really would need an unlimited plan to finish it. The money grabbing constantly is just frustrating and took all the joy out of it. The occasional free book takes you from the start to finish.

The fact that you can’t actually search with a search bar is insanity. Search by author isn’t even alphabetical. Like just some weird design choices. If there were proper search functions I’d would’ve subscribed, but it’s subpar.
