Subscription is RidiculousListen, i love NewJeans, i love the girls, their personalities, the content and i just love them so much in general. i was SOOOO excited when this first came out and the app is great! it has the cutest style and i love getting to see the calendar and the photo album but i really don’t like the subscription. i'm a minor who makes money, but my parents would definitely not allow me to spend $9.00+ per month to look at pictures of k-pop girls and interact with them 💀. like i get that Ador/Hybe is trying to get extra money and stuff, but they should at least keep the photos, calendar, and live streams free since we can all of those from an outside source except for the livestreams. all other k-pop groups’ livestreams are free on Weverse so why shouldn’t us Bunnies also get to see the girls interact with us? the private messaging part should definitely have a subscription and stuff but in my whole hearted opinion, everything else should be free and accessible to everyone. a mass portion of k-pop fans are minors and most of them can’t buy the subscription since it’s so expensive or that their parents refuse to buy that for them, i wouldn’t mind if the subscription was less than $5.00 but that’s just me. thank you so much for reading through this semi rant, and NewJeans, if you’re reading this, please at least make the calendar and photos free, i love you girls!.Version: 1.5.0
Not a fan of the subscription featureI’m actually a hugeee fan of newjeans!! love the girls so much, their music, style, personalities, and everything is amazing. i’ve had phoning since it launched, and absolutely LOVED the all! so nice to be able to watch their livestreams, view the messages, and the calendar. my favorite feature by far has been the photo collection for each member and the group as a whole. the whole app feels really genuine and as a fan, i feel connected in a way to the members. recently, phoning adding a subscription feature for $8.49 a month. i knew it was coming, but it still really shocked me. i understand why they did it, but they should have at least let some features be free, for example the calendar or photos. it’s just unfair to lock everything. i want to support the girls as much as i can, and paying that amount per month just to see pictures of them makes me sad. for now, the app is just going to sit in my phone. i really looked forward everyday to seeing the phoning notifications, but w/o the subscription i don’t get any. i don’t have a problem paying for the subscription, but it’s a lot of money overtime and many fans are young with no money to spend on it and parents may not allow them. just wish ADOR figures something out, i don’t think it’ll work out in the long term. hopefully some features get unlocked..Version: 1.2.1
Download is free but the whole app is notI was really excited when I downloaded this app but then I got hit with the subscription. I can’t do anything on the app unless I pay $9 a month which I can’t afford because I’m a minor who doesn’t make much money. I was pretty sad and disappointed. I understand this is a way for them to make money to support the group until they get on their feet, I just hope they will lift the subscription soon for us bunnies who can’t afford the high price. Until then I don’t have enough space on my phone for an app that I can’t use so I will be saying bye and deleting the app. I’m very sorry. Pls let us Bunnie know when the subscription will be lifted because I’ll definitely be redownloading it. Cute App! (room for improvement )I love this app! What a fun idea for a group! I had so much fun and I can only imagine how much more fun it would've been if I was younger. It's fun to read the messages and so far it seems the button next to each message translates correctly. Also!!! Terms and conditions, instructions, and other important information are IN ENGLISH! (Which is better than I can say for other apps 👀) The little activities are cute like decorating their album or changing their outfits. The ID card doesn't work for me either which is a little disappointing but I'm sure they're working on those things. I wish looking at the photos was a little different. If it was one continuous scroll it would be nicer but leaving one members "album" and entering anothers just to wait for each photo to load isn't worth it. If you could scroll from side to side to each member and then up and down for their individual photos I think it would be a lot more seamless..Version: 1.0.2
Money!Phoning is a little bad now . But don’t get me wrong it’s still a really fun game not really fun though because everything is locked like you can’t see pictures LIKE PICTURES ! It’s reasonable to lock messages with the girls but PICTURES and I can’t even chat on the calendar . It’s just not fair at all! I really want to support all the girls and stuff but like 8 dollars or something each month! I could do it but I will run out really fast and I don’t have that much money and some people don’t even have enough money to buy it so it’s just not fair for anyone because parents also don’t let kids buy it so it just not ok . Love the app, but expensiveI have loved interacting with the girls via messages and live streams and everything else. However, the subscription is pretty expensive. $9/mo or $90/yr is way too much! I would understand about $5/mo because a lot of NewJeans fanbase are not adults and don’t have that kind of money! Another thing, it’s a little ridiculous to make people pay for live streams and photos. I understand the messaging and maybe the calendar events but I don’t understand why we should pay such a hefty price for photos. At least lowering the price of this app would improve it heavily. Cute :)I love newjeans, it’s nice to go in and see the events on the calendar. I’m not a subscriber tho, since I’m a minor and don’t make my own money yet. Anyway I agree with the top review that says only chatting should be charged for like 3.99 maybe? Anyway for people who want to see what’s free, you can see official events newjeans will appear on in the calendar, access the newjeans website and get messages from ador, and some other companies. But that’s really it haha. For subscribers you can comment on the events, see the members rants on the calendar, their photos in the albums, their live calls and streams, and talk to them individually. The wait is around 2 days if they want to talk to YOU. From what I’ve heard. Anyway it’s a cute app but not much available for free users..Version: 1.5.3
Love the app BUTTTI love the app and I’m a huge fan of newjeans but you have to pay for more then half of the features on the app. I understand that they wanna make more Money but it would honestly be better if they made you pay to download but then the app and stuff was free they would probably still make money like that. App malfunctionsSo far I like the app. I can see live streams and such but the biggest thing bothering me right now is that when I press on the members messages. My app instantly crashes. I’ve reset the app and even redownloaded the all multiple times but it keeps crashing. I’m not sure if I would want to pay a monthly subscription of roughly $9 or $84 a year if my app can’t function correctly. Besides that I find everything else pretty leisurely and helpful, however why pay for pictures if they’re just leaked on other fan accounts for free. Thank you for your time..Version: 2.0.5

AMAZING !!!!!🐰🐰🐰🐰I honestly love Phoning and I love all the access you can have! You can go on video chats and text Newjeans and see plenty of photos and videos like if you were to actually text and talk to them and I love that you can watch podcasts on phoning! I love to watch them when I’m on long trips! Before u download..There’s a subscription!!I think this app is really cute! lots of content of the girls that i’m sure all over their fans will enjoy BUT to access majority of the content u have to pay a subscription. i personally was not expecting this to be free but i just wanted to let people know that you’re not really gonna get much out of this app if u don’t pay for the subscription. with that being said, if u don’t want to pay for the subscription i don’t think the app is worth downloading but if u don’t mind then definitely download it!!.Version: 1.4.0

Cute very y2k!! but…The app is super cute, similar to weverse, and a great way to communicate with the girls. So, 10/10. First and foremost, I love the app design and the features. It really appeals to our younger generation. However, the only problem is that it’s slightly unreliable? Some features don’t work from my phone, like creating an ID or the dress up feature, and the app occasionally crashes, so it feels like it doesn’t work how it’s supposed to. :( I think it needs a few updates but that’s all..Version: 1.0.0
DisappointedI love newjeans so when I found out about the app I was super excited but you can barely do anything on the app you can’t join lives until almost 12 days you can’t look at photos or do anything I understand hybe is trying to make money but this is ridiculous 9$ per month is a lot of money especially since there are mostly teens listening to there music the least they can do is lower the subscription or just make messages with the members cost while making the rest free.Version: 2.0.7

One issueThe only issue I have is in regards to language. I have the app setting set to English. Any message or calendar note is in Korean. There is a small symbol to press so it translate to English. So the problem is I have to press that button all the time. Each text bubble needs its own translation. I wish I could hit the translate button once and all of the messages would be in English..Version: 2.1.0

Great app but isn’t the best for international languagesSo basically i’m a bunny and i only understand vietnamese, english, and only a bit of korean so i go to the translate thing and i turn it on but i can’t understand them still nor do i see any text so i don’t really know what their saying most of the time because i’m kinda of relived that they had some moments where they spoke in english and i had a really hard time trying to understand them. BadgesThe notification badges are really stressing me out. It would be fine if they actually fully cleared when you got caught up, but it’s impossible to get the notifs to zero. Cool appThe idea of the app itself is really cool, but the whole subscription thing kinda messed it up for me. Good but Needs Improvement and not yet Worth ItThey should include at least an english cc. I don’t understand most of what New Jeans are communicating, it gets frustrating since you pay for it and you can’t comprehend anything. Lastly, the messaging doesn’t feel authentic at all. It’s like you’re talking to a bot throwing random senseless messages. It will help if users have the option to show or hide chats of other subscribers that are active on the messaging chat. Oh and one minor issue I constantly encounter is that whenever a New Jeans member video calls I always get logged out. Please fix and make improvements to make the subscription worth it!.Version: 1.5.6
