Nice game but graphical problems cause headaches.Okay, let’s begin with the pros of this game; first of all, the voice acting, cutscenes and gameplay are spot-on, the themes are rather clever and unoriginal, and character customization actually allows me to even play as a dark character if I want to which is a huge thumb-up that immediately kills any hints at racism as well in the mo. Controls aren’t too shabby, but they dan be somewhat unresponsive at times, which I think correlates with the graphical error as well in Chronicles. Even on the highest resolution, the graphical details mainly on the sprites and character faces, are still somewhat pixelated and the way the pixels fluctuate in the gameplay cause frequent headaches, almost as if it’s some sort of secret illusion trick. Want to keep playing Chronicles, but at the same time, I also don’t want to suffer from head trauma from the graphical issues if this problem isn’t fixed. F2P Friendly Nat5 friendly if reroll accThis game has been great so far I have a account that I started first I spent some money nothing good beat story and was hard to progress locked at like 150k power. Then I made new acc f2p. I utilized fire fairy, water Garuda, and wind pixie. In the 7 day login they give these units. They are easily summoned also the monster story gives some dupes for awakening. They surpassed my team of nat 5s on a paid acc. I finished story with 0 trouble or lost battles. Furthermore I saved a lot more resources only focusing three stars and ended with 204k power. So this game is definitely f2p friendly if you manage your resources and build teams with at least two of the above mentioned units wind pixie water Garuda and some damage dealer. It’s just so much easier with the new awakening feature to focus nat 3s and you can easily with summoning other attributes of the same monster fully skill them and evolve them. Also they give some monsters in the little side monster quests and they want you to level up a couple and give you some resources to do so.I then created a third acc and summoned 6 nat 5s so reroll your accs start as a guest and delete it after you change your name with the ticket in your inventory if you want to keep same name. Summoning several nat 5s is doable I even made another couple and off first ten scrolls got one then the guaranteed summons gives you a second. There are no paywalls!All of those other reviews complaining about paywalls have NO idea what they’re talking about. the only thing you need money to pay for in this game is monster aesthetics! everything else is obtainable without paying! you need a little patience, but i love that they even have a system in place to more easily get the 5 stars you want for upgrading your current ones! they have events come around all the time that just gives away a 5* AND you can get multiple copies of it!! CompensationI demand compensation. It is really frustrating to me that I have spent $600 at start of the game only for you guys to release LD legendary scrolls a month and a half in. Where is your loyalty for the players who have literally been playing since launch and carrying the servers for the first days of the game?????? Do you guys even play the game? All I want is an LD 5 and now here you guys are giving LD legendary scrolls and other reduced rate packages for people when I’ve already spent a lot of money on this game. Free to play friendly and really fun!Yes I have paid a good amount on the game but I’m coming to realize that a lot of the characters that are meta and used are handed to you and the pulls in the game are very generous. I’ve already pulled every element character 1-4 stars excluding some light and dark mons. And I’ve only been playing for not even a months span. Love this game and it’s contents. The balance of too little and too much in terms of grinding is perfect in this game. ONE thing I’m pretty disappointed in I would say is the audio. It’s sad to see voice acting only runs off a single line and they repeat that line forever no matter what they are actually saying. Would love to see what I’m reading be voice acted as well instead of hearing the same exact single line every time I talk to an NPC. SECOND the auto functionality could be a little smoother. It’s not that badI’ve played MANY PC/Mobile mmo and rpg’s and this one is far out different than the rest. First of all, it’s Summoners War. This game has been around since ‘09. I remember trying to play the game when I had the iPhone 4 and it didn’t work out. I of course upgraded since then. Now I’m hanging around with the iPhone 13 Pro Max just now discovering that Com2us came out with a mmorpg for SW. And I gotta say, it looks and plays really well! This is a “free-to-play” game which means they are TONS of “pay-to-win” things you can buy with real money but that’s only if you are desperate to be on top of everyone else and sometimes…it’s not worth it. From playing the game for about 2 weeks now, most gear, items, or materials can be crafted or earned through out the game. Collect a lot, save a lot is what I like to say and because of that, you are going to need it in the long run. Don’t spend all of your gold and runes all in one place. Spend it wisely! As far as gameplay, the autoplay feature comes in handy when you want to do other things IRL. Also I do love it that when things go bad, you can have full control over your character and summons while you are in autoplay. The game forces you to do manual play for first time dungeons, or monster stories. It’s fine, but can be annoying sometimes. Understanding the elements, fire, wind, water, light, dark, is SUPER important! As long as you know the elemental advantages and disadvantages, your journey in Chronicles will be smooth sailing. Now for graphics, it’s a mobile game, not a AAA game. I don’t ever expect the best graphics, nor I even care about how the graphics look as long as the gameplay is good, im all in. The game is a super vivid, colorful game, very detailed when it comes to bigger cities. Almost reminds me of Genshin Impact. It's honestly pretty good.So let it be known that I am a returning player. When I first played this game, let's just say it needed a lot of work, and leave it at that. I'm glad to see plenty of improvement on the game itself. Combat is pretty smooth, graphics are very good, and the story so far is basic, but good. Just proves that you don't have to have some innovating story arc in order for your game to be entertaining. There are a couple things that I would like to see the developers change though. Firstly, I would like the ability to alter the size of certain buttons on the screen. The button to lock onto your enemies for instance is far too small in my opinion. If you gave us the ability to choose where buttons were placed and how big they were, then I believe you would get many more positive reviews based on the versatility of your game. Secondly, and perhaps there is a reason for this, but it annoys the heck out of me when every other second during combat I hear "not within range". Is there a way to turn that off? Because I haven't found it yet. And that was one of the major reasons why I quit the game the first time around. Good gameLove the game and the auto quest and harvest features gives ya a chance to take your pet outside and let it do its thing without dying or getting kicked. Graphics are top notch for this style. You can play on your phone at work (at your own risk) and do the auto farming then jump on your pc when you get home. Great MMORPG! Worth the waitI played the first mmorpg com2us released called world of magic and I was supper pleased. As you started the game you got to choose between 2 factions “Siras” and “Lanos” the 2 factions are at war with each other and it made the game very competitive. PVP was a focus on that game and player kill was enabled in most maps where the factions could fight each other. it really gave you reason to manually grind your way up. With chronicles I feel they could have taken a little more inspiration from their own game… but I’m still super impressed! I had to get used to the whole “auto play” thing but now I love it. I hope they bring more game modes like a 3v3 where you can only bring 1 summon. There is lots of pvp fun that could be had, I’m curious what they will implement. Lots of potentialIf you like Neverland, Monster Super League and Summoner’s war/ any kind of mmorpg summoning games this is pretty good. Looks good but some mechanic flawsHonestly the game looks great and brings a lot of your favorite monsters from summoners war sky arena. It is fun in its own way but has some mechanic flaws that ruin it. First a good number of monsters will do skill damage based on def or hp, which is great on paper but ends up lacking. This is due to basic attacks scaling on atk and skills having 20s+ cooldowns. Another concept is atk spd is completely niche for only select few monsters. It has no influence on skill cooldowns and is only for basic attacks, which then leads to it being a waste. Finally the rune method in game is pretty bad. You can only really farm up to 5 star runes while needing to craft 6 star. The runes also need a special material to upgrade which you burn through so quickly and takes quite a bit of time to gain more. It also ends up being a constant material gathering game because there are so many different materials for everything. The game has great potential but it needs to be simplified tremendously and some qol improvements. Then I would give it 4-5 stars. Double checked in game sound settings and there’s no muted things or anything and my phone plays the sound of everything else fine so not sure what that’s all about. NostalgicThis game feels like a cross between epic seven and maple story type of game, either way, it makes me feel kind of nostalgic as I loved these kind of games when I was younger back in early 2000’s. Some people won’t like it much, as it is not really up to par with current standard of expectations, but I personally like it. Needs more polishingPlot The game was very fun in the beginning. The story was engaging and the dialog was dynamic. However, the quality of the plot declined rapidly. The game effectively became “defeat x monster y times” too many times to the point you lost track of the story. Many of the dungeons look the same and are uninspiring throughout the story. It’s as if they were combining a gatcha game with an MMO. The combination feels a little off. 2/5 Characters Many of the NPC’s look the same and are lacking variety. In certain places, the dialog is mundane and boring. That said, there are some interesting and uniquely designed characters. 3/5 As far as the summons are concerned, it looks like the models are low resolution. The units look much better in the original summoners war and Lost Centuria. The units need a model upgrade. That said, the summons are nice and offers significant diversity. 3.5/5 Game play The controls could use improvement. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to attack and move. Sometimes, enemy attacks need to be evaded; however, unable to since they need to finish their attack animation. The camera rotation could be optimized better such that navigating a battle is more intuitive. The auto camera can cause problems when it moves unexpectedly to the players expectations. 3/5 Summon skills: It seems like many Nat 5 units need an overhaul. Some units offer too much in their kit while others are hardly usable. Nat 5’s take significant resources to build; however, many of them have very mediocre skill set making them unviable. Skills need to be carefully looked at to make units viable. 3/5 Graphics The graphics are fairly average but looks beautiful. That said, given the graphics the game should run smoother. But it doesn’t. Needs major optimization. 3/5 Audio: Audio is good. Some audio could use improvement but for the most part it’s decent. 4/5 Overall give this game a 3/5. But it does have the potential to be a 4/5 if they spend time fixing the issues. Pokemon/Genshin mixPlayed for a couple hours now and the game has a lot of similarities between genshin and pokemon. Not a bad thing however this game has a lot of potential! Good start needs some design workGood game and worthy successor to SW, which was not perfect at launch either. Probably the thing that will drive players away the most quickly is the upgrade mechanic for equipment. The gear just breaks and the repair and upgrade cycle is boring, disappointing, and ultimately makes for poor gameplay. Why? When new gear drops you are less excited about it, and you’ll get stuck at 8 or 9 or so, when most gear breaks at 5 star. It’s like they took everything negative the community said about upgrading runes and applied it to equipment instead. Meanwhile upgrading runes is expensive, but happens in one step and is way better than SW sky arena. Frustrating.As an old SW player, I was excited about this one, and at first, it did a really good job. Plenty of idle vs manual tasks, events and quests... until it started to bog itself down. There's so much to do in a single day you can't complete it all unless you spend over 4h on it. (I've been home sick, I timed it.) Then theres the graphics/ground clutter, where you need to see the abilities to know what's happening, but there are so many colors and shapes and no reaction time allowed it's a kaleidoscope of damage that leaves you dizzy. Let me re-emphasise those two: colors and reaction time. If you have any color definition or color blindness issues, don't bother with this game, there is 0 support for you and everything is so zoomed out it wouldn't matter if they added it, because even with highlights you lose yourself on the screen most times. Reaction time? Forget it, they'll start pitting you against 6s boss mechanics (if you're lucky) and trap you there until you give up to do some side quest or spend a bunch of resources overleveling past the mechanic. Why is 6s such an issue? Besides those who aren't in full control of their physical facilities, the game itself conspires against you, holding your character in place while you use an ability or adding stun/freeze/web mechanics to make you useless (despite you being the only one who reacts to mechanics within your summoned team). So, in a word, this game is FRUSTRATING. I'm going to give them a little time to calm down, but might have to leave it anyway..AingealWrothVersion: 1.1.312746

Sigh I really want to like the gameI really want to like this game but, there’s a ton a small over sights that make it so frustrating examples they buffed monsters but didn’t look into any of the spirals that got really had examples floor 97 and floor 120 both monsters got buffed recently from them making the levels EXTREMELY HARD and it just becomes a slog unless you’re a whale and while I understand this is a gatcha game there’s so many other problems that aren’t reliant on getting good character rolls (I have argen, Bastet, and Ariel basically maxed) like provoking going significantly further than the actual indicator and buffs don’t have a timer set in them like other games do so you’re stuck guessing when to use spells because oh no they shielded right before because you have absolutely no idea what the cool downs are for the enemies like in regular summoners war. I’ve currently been playing for about a month or two but it’s become more and more of a slog like when you have the watch all the unskippable cutscenes on every single character (which has gotten me killed on multiple occasions because monsters can hurt you in a cutscene which I thought is a MASSIVELY laughable oversight) to the point where I’m only logging on because I have daily’s Cairo and path of growth and log off because it’s becoming well a slog. Pay walls galoreStarting off is awesome feels like a good game. Progression is good feels rewarding, until you get to mid game where you are forced to deviate from building a core team to waste resources on other mons to clear certain things. The only character that seems like that doesn’t matter as much on is the support character because you can heal your tank monster that you can get to 100k power long before your clef character will ever hit 100k. Runes are scarce, takes days to farm them, can only craft low-mid runes, and nothing to spend my 14k rune upgrade stones on. Their new battlefield mode is mediocre at best with the pay to win whales having an insane advantage (obviously) there is no tier or bracket system to put people into relative battle groups. Just be aware that this is a free to play perspective. I’ve pulled over 1k mystic scrolls, no LD nat 4 or above. Tons of decent monsters but never get duplicates. Have a core three star team that beat the game with 120k total BP. But beyond beating the game you will have to spend infinite hours of your life or your money to keep up with the pace of the game. Not balancedThis game is really beautiful and you can tell they put a lot of work into it but there are WAY to many elements to it and the scaling of the dungeons is way off. Once again ppl with money have gotten so far ahead it makes much of the play not even worth bothering. The skills seem off as well like none of them last for long enough. While playing you're having to dodge, use skills keep track of monsters while the orientation of the screen is fixed in weird position and opponents and obstacles are flying all around the play arenas and that makes it nearly impossible to keep track of everything. Want to love it but…The graphics unfortunately give me headaches. It feels like my perfect vision is blurry on any setting. I have not seen a game this bad on visuals…. Ever. I had a lot of friends already drop it just due to graphic issues. A big part of these games is playing with colleagues, so if you can’t provide an experience to keep groups of people interested the game will fail. Ruined by autoplayI will never understand "games" like this. Clearly people put a lot of time and effort into this app, but it's basically played for you. Even if you toggle the auto/free button, it still autoplays when you accept quests, and you can't proceed with quests unless you accept them. There is only one path you can take; it's not truly open world. The monsters won't attack you so no skill is needed when moving, and even when you are fighting monsters, the battles are too easy. Very generic, boring, made to kill the phone.I wrote a couple paragraphs on the downside of the game but I accidentally closed the app so I’ll just write the short version. 1.
