Temu is greatI buy from Temu regularly. The prices r great. The quality is excellent. Things come quickly and returns r free. Their customer service is the best if any store I have ever dealt with. They have so many unique things not found anywhere else. I have so much fun on Their site. They give price adjustments and coupons. I cannot say enough good things about them. They also plant trees to offset carbon emissions and many things they sell such as paper goods r bio degradable. Their cosmetics and facial care r fabulous and work for a fraction of the price elsewhere. Their clothing stands up to washing. Most us wrinkle free and pet hair repellant!!! They have such unique clothing. I get so many compliments. I have fun shopping at a great price and have fun wearing the things I buy. Their electronics r top quality. I have never gotten anything I have not enjoyed. Some things cost a dollar or less and I expect those to be cheaper quality like at a dolllar store or five below. Usually they r better quality though. Temu has more pricey designer things too and high quality furniture at great prices. They stand behind their products. Shipping is under ten days or less usually and a day or two from a local warehouse. Their customer service is the best of any company I have ever dealt with. I feel they r family. Not as bad as I expected.I heard a lot of people say that this app is a scam, and while I can certainly see why they’d think that it actually isn’t a bad place to shop. I will deduct it a star though for one reason; they give you the illusion that you’re winning prizes. When you spin a wheel or pull the lever on a virtual slot machine they will ALWAYS rig it to have the best prize to make you think you got lucky, and they do this to pressure you into taking the deal before it expires. Sometimes they even have promotions where they offer you free items if you invite friends to the app or the event, don’t believe this though since they made this nearly impossible to win. They do have some games on this app where you water a plant or feed some fish for a while, which can actually get you some free items, granted they are cheap items but still free regardless. And I’m not referring to the ones you choose the moment you play the game for the first time, I mean the extra items they allow you to earn on the side. They make it to where you need to complete the side objective every day of one week to get it, which doesn’t really take up much of your time for each day you gotta do this. When it comes to the actual shopping, the prices are actually really good. I would recommend talking to their customer service bot about getting the checkout minimum removed though to make things more convenient for you. Great after you get how it works!!!They have some really high quality products but you have to read all of the details about whatever products you’re looking for; like what the clothes are made out of and if they run true to size or run small or large …that kind of thing. And for stuff like electronics, you can compare their products to others that are very similar by looking them up through google or whatever search engine you prefer. I’ve read so many reviews about their scheming tactics but you don’t have to spin the wheel or even if you do, it doesn’t mean you have to accept the so called prize or prizes! You can always press the X button in the top corner and just leave after it asks you “Are you sure you don’t want to get this amount of money or credit back?” Then after you leave you can start shopping for whatever it is that you’re interested in buying. Less local items please!!Shopping on Temu is fun! Great customer service too. I’ve made probably over 10 orders now. The best part is the completely random finds under $10 with free shipping. That being said, this past week, I’ve been seeing an overload of “local items”, where you have to pay 2.99 to ship unless you spend $30 from that “local provider”. I bought one thing listed as local, and now, 95% of the items on the homepage and any tab are local. Most of these items are the same price or more than other online shopping sites. Not a fan of this and there’s no way to exclude these local items from a search. I don’t even bother clicking on them because I know I have to spend a minimum of $30 for free shipping. I hate to say it, but I’ll stop using Temu if everything turns local. There’s only a few non-local items on any given page, and that really limits my choices of what I want to click on. I got a vacuum attachment from a local provider as it was cheaper than non local, paid the 2.99 for shipping, and it still arrived 3 days later than the rest of the order. Very frustratedI’m being generous by giving this app 3 starts because I’m really ticked off and feel extremely gullible & stupid because whoever owns and runs this app are VERY deceptive! I’ve spent thousand of dollars and I will add that I’m satisfied or even shocked with delight at the quality of whatever I’ve purchase (besides the clothing) because it’s either way to big or could fit a toddler! Anyway; the main reason I feel taken advantage of is I keep trusting Temu will give me a $320 dollar credit but you ALWAYS have to buy a certain amount and not once have I ever gotten so much as $10worth of credit, let alone $320. Even worse is they say you only need to purchase X amount of items to receive the huge credit but the don’t tally your points with the total dollar amount you spend! I hate to love it.Temu has some really cool stuff and their prices are cheap too. I have to say that it is better than Wish. But, I have two issues. (1) Sometimes, the pictures of the items are misleading. Especially when it comes to the clothes. For example, I ordered two pairs of pants and the picture showed that they looked like cargo pants kind of and that the bottoms were adjustable. They looked nothing like that when I received them. They were jogging pants pretty much. (2) Everytime I go to the app, I have to go through screen after screen before I can even search for what I want to buy. They want you to spin a wheel saying you get 100% cash back but only after you do all kinds of stuff to get it. Like invite a new app user, make a purchase of $X amount or more. Or they have games you can play like Fishland where you feed these fish and once you get to 100% you win selected prizes. Problem is, once you get to the last 3 or 4%, the feeding slows down and you won’t get your items unless you make purchases to get more food, but only certain items from Temu vendors win you food. It’s a marketing scam. It’s stupid and I don’t have the time to go through a bunch of screens before I can browse items. For the most part a great app, but some misleading promotions.By and large, Temu offers quality products at fantastic prices, shipping is cheap (if not free) and expeditious, and some of their promotions result in some very desirable freebies. However, the majority of their promotions/deals are incredibly misleading. Their FarmVille promotion reeled me in by saying I was only $10 away from a bunch of free items, the first $9 passed by in under an hour, but the final $1 has taken me more than a week to get down to the final 5 cents, and each time the result of my efforts has been at least halved, if not reduced even more. I’m pretty close to what I hope is my last task, but I won’t be surprised if when I finish it only rewards me with 1 cent, leaving me to grind it out four more times, at which point I’m sure it will reward me with only half a cent, leaving me half a cent from my ultimate reward. Then I’m sure the tasks will reward me with maybe 1/10 of a cent the next four rounds, before surprising me with 5/100 of a cent on what I expect to be the final round and starting that infuriating process all over again. Great item at a bargainI love this site and have purchased many items from them plus adorable little outfits for my great granddaughter. Since babies grow so fast, I can’t justify spending a lot of money on their clothes. But getting like to all the pro’s about Temu, their prices are affordable, the order’s always comes before the delivery date they give me and returns are easy and are never questioned. Occasionally, if something is damaged, they will ask for pictures which makes total sense to me. Yes, some of their things are cheaply made but I’ve never had a problem with those things because, for me, they were silly signs I was hanging outside anyway and no sign outside last forever unless you paid big bucks for it and sometimes they don’t last either. My only con would be the packaging is not the best and you most likely won’t be able to return an item in it. I always save my smaller boxes for situations like this. Temu will email you a mailing label and returns are always free. So thank you Temu for being such a great company for me. Great products/ not good customer serviceOverall, I think the products are very awesome. That Temu has to offer. However, be very careful that when you are refunded a credit that the credit doesn’t just disappear and say that it was credited to one of your orders placed, but really wasn’t. This has happened to me in multiple occasions lately where I may go to return a couple items because of something being wrong with them or poor quality and they tell me to keep the product and they will give me an option to have that balance go back back to the credit card that used or credit your account , and I will always credit my account. I think this is where Temu makes their money. I’m not doing that anymore because I have been found that when I would do one of those promotions where you spin the wheel and then you get like four days free gifts but you have to spend a minimum of $40 that that same day I would place that order my 20 some dollar credit that was in my credit balance had disappeared and said it was applied that day, but it wasn’t. Temu has been goodThere's so many times that I had gotten a size wrong or wasn't paying atttention to the actual measurements on products . That's my fault but n if that happens temu always allows me to return the product and get the refund so that's awesome. Pay close attention to measurements cus the pictures are misleading. I've shopped temu so much that I know better and I know the games of offering 50 % off but it's really not fifty percent off because it was never the large price from the beginning. So be smart and do a little research . I always check on the regular site for prices of an item I'd like to add to a fifty percent offer , to see if I'm actually saving anything . Watch Your WalletAlthough I’ve enjoyed this app for the most part, I noticed a few details that have me shaking my head. For example: each time my total purchases add up to be enough so the items can be shipped free, I see that the “Total Amount at Checkout” has increased so that I now need to add a few more items to get the Free Ship benefit back. I know there are other sneaky ways TEMU manages to get customers to grab up more deals - it’s as if there are deals upon deals upon deals - and some actually ARE Very Good deals, but before you know it you have spent 3x as much as you orig. planned. Illegal activityWhat this company is doing is illegal. If you don’t believe me, go through the reviews. First, they make it extremely difficult to see an items reviews. How? Click on the reviews and what you will see are reviews for a whole bunch of items, not just the item your looking at. Second, start reading the reviews. Countless reviews are clearly negative, yet it shows that the person gave the item 5 stars which is impossible. Simply put, this is fraud and needs reported to Apple so their app is removed from the store. After reading the reviews, it is very clear that their “review” grading system is a lie as well. LuckyI am so lucky that I found Timu and I gave it a shot. I use Apple Pay for secure pay. I’d like to make art jewelry for family and friends as a creative outlet but it can be very expensive. Temu allows me to be creative and try things that maybe don’t work for me and it not be terribly expensive. I have been able to be creative because my products are not so expensive that it will be too costly if I don’t make a beautiful piece because you have to grow with your art and the quality and the selection of silicone molds, and epoxy resin equipment is overwhelming. I just can’t believe that I can get such good quality at such a good price across the world rather than getting something local. Live like a billionaire with Temu for cheap prices on items that you like and needToday my first Temu order arrived. I heard about Temu from another person that uses it and I thought I’d try it out so on November 8, 2023 I download the app on my iPhone and place my first order with them and set up my account to purchasing an order process and shipping and receiving the order was just a few days I made my first order on November 8 and I got the whole package and everything was in the bag like it should I didn’t have any trouble with items getting lost or anything and I would recommend Temu. AddictedI never leave app reviews so this is a first. Temu is legit and I'm addicted. I've purchased some cheap things and some expensive things. They all came as described with the exception of just a couple which Temu refunded. You are able to get one return per order if you are unhappy with something and they do not require returning the merch up to a certain price and if it has to be sent back the shipping is free. They also work with local sellers to make shipment easier. I just started getting a great deal of merch sent via UPS. I had ordered a treadmill and it's awesome at less than $200. I've practically decorated my house with just Temu. They undersell Walmart on many things and even hobby stores on silk flowers, crafts, sewing items, art, and more. The clothing is great just be sure to read the size charts as some things may run smaller or larger depending on the fabric. Real or scam?I’m usually skeptical about apps that have items for very cheap prices, like for example, i saw a lipstick for 0.98 and i didnt expect it to be real , but it came to my house in 11 days. This app is not a fake, it’s probably hard to believe it but it’s really not. I ordered some stuff for myself as a Christmas present and it came in amazing condition and nothing was broken. WebsiteSometimes this site is very confusing. Looks there are separate stores and a main “store”, each offering different minimums for credits or shipping. Be careful as you may order something twice as the checkout is confusing on this, especially when they say you need to order x amount more to get or how you’re checking out. ( adding to order after checkout for example). Many of the same items in each with different prices. This needs to be differentiated better. Temu is awesome with returns or credits though. I do find searching for my orders, for example doing reviews very hard to find. Sometimes I need to refer back to an item for instructions, because they don’t include basic instructions or even the name of the item (or a scannable code)to look it up. Lack of instructions is on the manufacturers though. (They also need better descriptions as to type of fabrics used in clothing..You Never know what it’s going to be). I like Temu, BUT…Temu sends photos of their ads to my Apple photo gallery without my knowledge or permission. Why? They just take up unnecessary space on my devices and cause them to run slow. I deleted the app for two weeks and my Apple devices stopped acting crazy. As soon as I added the app back on my iPhone, the phone started acting crazy again. Also, Temu relies heavily on REVIEWS of each item you purchase. The app seems to be more user friendly when you write good reviews (they actually give you words to describe the items lol) and it’s very easy to write a review or just send stars. UhhhI recently downloaded this and was pleasantly surprised by the things I found, they were all Very my style after I started searching. But there was an overwhelming amount of “Spin for free!”s and “Invite to get #% off!” I ignored them but then the coffee tree ad popped up, I was interested, but it didn’t tell you anything about having to do anything with the tree, just like that you got them for free. Clearly not. I started watering my tree and was getting pretty far, it was kinda fun. Then I got into the 90%s, got slower and lots less water, whatever. 95%, taking me a while to do tasks for water. 99%, I was exited, but by now the numbers were only going up in the decimal places. I finally made it to that 1% after doing a bunch of tasks and waiting days, only to find out that instead of giving me 100%, and the items, that it only gave me .50% . what . the . heck I was really annoyed, not to mention you can’t really get much water after tasks and waiting for your well to fill, only for one water. I’m still trying to finish this last precent, but it’s not as fun to do anymore now that I know it’ll take a 1000 years. After 2 months, I finally got my order…The items itself were pretty great actually, nothing faulty. Only thing I’m very disappointed with is the shipping. When I first made this order it said it would arrive within 30 days because it was coming from Asia (probably China) through those big shipment boats. Okay FINE. A little long but I get it. Boat got to my city and got a message that my order was lost. I got my refund- made the payment through AfterPay and I think that’s the only reason I actually got it. I’ve read many people that pay directly to Temu don’t get a refund. I’m grateful I always do transactions through AfterPay. I was mostly upset and sad because I rather would have the items than the refund. Surprisingly, I ended up getting the package another month AFTER I got the refund. So far so good… buuuttt…I just downloaded last night, made my first purchase today. Love the pricing and the fact the delivery dates don’t seem like forever ( like on wish) I also love the fact there is free shipping option on most things, everything I ordered had it at least. Love Temu but....I love Temo and its deals, but... I don't like the cheap material on some of the clothing that looks nothing like the picture. I also do t like the "games" for discounts that trick you into buying more, more, more. Like, order to get 100% back, and you think you're close to ordering what's needed just to find out you're not even close. And the watering games, they don't seem to be of any benefit. So I just ignore those now too. My only real wish is my first complaint about the material of some of the clothing. If you advertise an item and it's of a particular kind of material, don't offer the item if you're not selling the exact item with the exact material. I feel like I can never buy t-shirts or sweatshirts from Temu and will only buy other items if I see other buyer's photos and they say how the material is. I do love this sizing guides though! If I follow the sizing guide I always get the right fit! I look at body and item measurements! So I know if I want something with a looser or tighter fit I can easily adjust accordingly. False PromotionsI’ve been a Temu user for a while since its great for ordering random things at cheap prices. I haven’t had a complaint until I recently experience one of their credit back promos. My uncle has been a longtime user of the promo so he suggested I try it. The promo is where you initially spend a certain amount ($60 in my case) within an hour an Temu will credit you $60 back in 7 installments. My first order went perfectly. I spent $60 and got $60 back after claiming all 7 installments. In the rules for the promo it clearly states the minimum spending requirement and states that customers can receive and use multiple similar offers. The next day, I got another offer, but instead of $60 credit back, I would get $50 credit back. Since it still wasn’t bad, I participated in the promo again, but when I had $63 in my cart, the bar at the top of the promo page still said I needed to add another $7 to claim the full credit. When I contacted customer service they told me to follow the notice at the top saying to add another $7 to my cart, which would bring my spending total to $70 instead of $60. Even though in the bar at the top tracking my spending and the rules stated I only needed to add $60+. I’ve noticed a pattern though, new users get a taste of getting free stuff off the bat, but once the user tries to apply for more free stuff they have to continually share with people who don’t have Temu or already existing users. But my suspicion rises when I noticed that in the fine print (The rules of the game will change) surely that doesn’t matter…until it says you need to share a link with someone to cut one dollar off your product, so you share the link and wait, once they accept the link it cuts only ¢50. Pretty annoyingI’ve only purchased one thing from, Temu and the product was good. I just should’ve gotten a different size. However, I’m not fund of all the weird and time consuming games. You’ll have to sit and play for a considerable amount of time to win anything really. When you win a “prize” the app wants you to keep spinning a wheel, or play another game, or something to try and make it seem like you’re double wining but all it is is that you’ll spend more. Holiday order!Well, my brother introduced me to this app, telling me how he was getting great deals on small items. So I figured I’d try it out. And what better time to order small miscellaneous items, than Christmas? When your giving a bunch of random gifts! No items deliveredI feel like it needs to be stated that this app is not necessarily a scam but rather just be prepared that you order and pay for stuff which never shows. Decent ( makes you jump through hoops )The products are typically “decent” and for a low price. Temu offers you “free” or “play to win” products with a headline like pick 6 free. Just know that it is very difficult ( near impossible ) to get these products. It is usually earned through referring new users and / or earning credits of some sort. Just know the closer you get to your credit goal to earn your “free” products, the less amount of credit you get. For example your credit goal may be 100 and you might get 50 credits for your first referral. Then your second referral is less, then less and so on. Towards the end you get 0.1 credits for a referral. You’d feel like you’re so close but you’ve already invited 20+ people and played this “game” tediously to the point where you just give up after going ham for 18 hours.
