Love everything except…I love this app, don’t get me wrong, but there could be some improvements. I tried to order some organization items from my local Walmart and have them delivered, and the app said they were not available for curbside pick up or delivery. The next day I went into the store to pick up a couple items, and there were over 10 of the item I was looking for. I know one of the people that stocks at that Walmart and that was not something that came in overnight. Infuriating because I needed them immediately, but ordered them because they weren’t available. The app is not very intuitive. When I’m placing an order if I wanted it delivered, I often I can’t tell until it’s in my cart and I’m ready to check out if it’s an item that must be shipped, if it can be delivered or if I can pick it up. I know that there is an indicator when you’re looking at the item, but that has often changed once I got it in my cart online. I will say I have really enjoyed scan and pay. Rather than waiting for an employee to ask me for my receipt I just have my phone out and offer it. One last thing I hope Walmart starts implementing is, do not leave items without a box or a bag scattered across my driveway when they deliver items. I ordered 30 backpacks for children at a shelter, and they were thrown in my driveway, some with no protection, and it rained. While I realize this is not directly related with the app, perhaps an option should be added to the app to have your items bagged or not bagged...Version: 24.15
Walmart orderingI enjoy ordering from Walmart & love Walmart. I don’t wanna have to pay a fee to order, so I understand that there’s a minimum balance to order and I have no problem with that. I’m happy is this a big timesaver. Have gone to the app and which now limits me to picking a store. So not so thrilled with that. To be honest I don’t care what store it comes from I don’t care if it takes a few extra days but I don’t wanna have to go from store to store to look for what I want. You’re a big store you should know your inventory and be able to pull that up on your own. I wish there was a better way on the app to bring up what you ordered it for so you can order it again. Like a simpler way to re-order would be really nice. Because it seems to only pull up a select items. I think Walmart should hire someone like me to do some of your product testing for the bakery, because you have some items that look nice but I totally unappealing in taste. OK so that’s my quick feedback for now. And to return items from here it’s always been easy. But items such as Waverley fabrics seem either hard to come by or wherever that fabric comes from they send the wrong one. So get some Waverly items back in stock I’ve been looking for some pink florals and the two that they have seem to be out of stock. As well as the platform sneakers although they show up on my other things when I go on the Internet but when I try to order them again they’re still out of stock. Best decision of my life!On a whim, I purchased the Walmart plus subscription, and it has changed my life. I don’t say that lightly. I wish I had kept track of how much time having this service has saved me. Not only has it saved me the time of having to drive to the store and shop and drive everything back to my house unload it and put it away, but it has kept me on my budget. I don’t browse like I do in the store so I buy what I have on my list and that’s it. The convenience of sitting on my couch or sitting at work and placing a grocery order and not just groceries but anything else I could possibly need at the press of a button. It is the best thing ever. I will tell you this, TIP, YOUR DRIVERS WELL! I am seeing that I have the same driver frequently and when I asked, they said that they will take a order for a house they remember and you definitely get better treatment. Many many times the driver is also the person shopping for the food, they are doing you a great service, you are getting the delivery for free, tip them well. As for the Walmart app itself, it is extraordinarily fantastic to use. It never glitches, it’s easy to find things, if an item isn’t available in the store, they can usually have it to me later later that day or within the next day or two. Honestly, this app is worth its weight in gold. Again, I know Walmart gets a bad rep and I completely understand that, but the benefit of this is far too great for me to hold any grudges..Version: 25.49.2
Savings Catcher & Walmart PayBefore Walmart created the Savings Catcher feature on their website, I would shop at numerous stores just to save a buck or two. Now I’m able to do all my shopping at one place - Walmart & only Walmart. I’m able to do so because if the item I purchased happens to be on sale elsewhere, Walmart will reimburse me the difference on an e-gift card. It allows you to pay with your cellphone, at checkout, via Walmart Pay. Even though it’s not given back to me in actual cash, I have no problems spending money on a gift card. I’m now able to utilize all the local sales ads at one location, cut my shopping day in half, as well as pocket my gas money I would’ve used traveling from store to store. Even though so far I’ve been mostly pleased with the Savings Catcher feature, there are a few negative points I’d like to mention. One major problem is the majority of the Walmart employees have no idea how it works. I find myself educating most of the cashiers at the checkout counter. I’m not sure if this has been fixed or not but the last time I tried getting gas and attempted to pay via my e-gift card (Walmart Pay), it would not allow me to do so. The only way I could use my funds for gas was to transfer funds from my Walmart Pay Account to a handheld gift card then pay for the gas that way. I sure hope Walmart does something about this because I personally wouldn’t use Savings Catcher and Walmart Pay if I’m not able to use my reimbursement money on anything I wanted..Version: 18.10.1
ReorderI had to reorder my last order. I placed an order with my kids’ Christmas gifts on 12/4 it said it would be delivered 12/6. I wasn’t in a hurry to get them or anything, I actually thought I had hit Pick Up Order. I got an email and text on 12/6 saying my order would be delivered at 4:07pm. I was worried about my kids seeing the items, so I was waiting for the delivery. At 5pm I look at the app and it says delivery attempted, so I looked at my security cameras, nobody pulled into our drive. So I contacted customer help because I couldn’t track the package. They told me it was going to be delivered either before 10pm on 12/6 or during the day on 12/7. I asked if I could just pick it up from the store and was told no. So today I check and there’s still nothing. I contacted support again and was told that the person that was supposed to bring it has now “opted out” for doing the delivery, so the best thing to do was cancel my order and reorder it. I was then told that it could take up to 10 days to get my refund for the order that had to be cancelled because of someone that works for Walmart. That’s not right. I had to pay immediately for items that I didn’t get, so I should be refunded immediately also. Money is tight for people right now and $100 might not be a lot for some but when that’s budgeted for Christmas presents for kids and now I have to move money around to reorder items that it wasn’t my fault I didn’t get is ridiculous..Version: 23.48
I wish I could give no stars 2022If you are looking to get this app for its “delivery” feature, THINK AGAIN. I wish I were joking but literally every time I use this app they don’t deliver my order on a $20 order or a $300 order, idk if someone is stealing my order but it just never comes. I have accumulated SO MANY refunds I now have multiple “coupons” but how can I use them on an order that will never come?? We and my roommate experimented yesterday both ordered at the same time with same day delivery and his order came on time while another one of my orders NEVER CAME.. how does that make sense??? I am completely done with us app, at this point I’m done with the store too. Customer service number was so brutally honest, they told me “we can reschedule your order, but the same thing could potentially happen again” wait wait what? Now your telling me in advance I will be robbed?? Thanks Walmart for your -2 star service. Service was trash when I was in the east coast but some how you have outdid yourself and are stealing from your customers. Round of applause for this elite level scheme right here. App Too Slow. Freezes A lot! Takes long time to place grocery orders.App is too slow. Kinda buggy. Times out quite a bit. Freezes a lot. Doesn’t refresh quickly. I have super fast Wi-Fi and run many many devices thru out home all day long without lag issues. But Walmart app is always problematic on ALL my devices including computer connected directly to Ethernet. Whether at home or on the go, Walmart app is a drag! When ordering groceries, doesn’t matter if you have list ready to go and only need to select and place order, it can easily take an hour or longer just to place order. Not good! Walmart, please do better and fix your app!! Another huge complaint: Walmart grocery delivery drivers I get are 99.9% Spanish (non-English speaking) drivers and they never read delivery instructions even when I put the text in Spanish. So as a result I have delivery problems 99.9% of the time. This is discouraging when deciding whether or not to place a Walmart grocery order—I always ask myself if I’m in the mood to deal with another delivery headache. Because these drivers don’t speak English, they turn off the messaging and phone so you cannot communicate with them at all about order issues or prewarn them about delivery instructions. Walmart, this can easily be fixed by instructing ALL drivers to NOT turn off messaging/calls and to look at delivery instructions/notes and get clarity beforehand! It will result in a better experience for BOTH your customers and delivery drivers as your drivers can get higher tips and thus generating more business back to Walmart. I’m home deliveryI’m home delivery is great BUT they will only deliver inside my home IF I pay to install a keyless entry for the workers to unlock even when I am at home!! I can answer the door to let them in or I can leave it unlocked if they prefer to just walk in! I don’t need a keyless entry pad bc I am ALWAYS home!! I’m disabled and am not supposed to bend over to get things off the ground! I’m also not supposed to pick up anything over 5 pounds! Thanks Walmart for being sensitive to the needs of your disabled customers!! I am being sarcastic in case you didn’t notice!! UPDATE: tonight I had Shopper / driver Cindy. They were out of many things I wanted. I LOVE that Walmart has added chat w/ ur shopper, bc I was able to text her and ask her for the replacements I wanted. She was exceptionally kind to me and got EVERYTHING I asked for even though she only had two items left before she was finished shopping! She flew around that store and got the remaining 7 replacements in just a few minutes!!! She finished shopping and delivered them to my house within 15 -20 minutes!! (I live about 10 mins away) What an AHHHHHHMAZING young lady!!! I changed her tip for $20 more than the original!! Fantastic job Cindy!! I appreciate you going ABOVE and BEYOND for me!! AutomotiveI dropped off a car tire to have it repaired and I told them there was something in the tire that was causing it to leak and when I got back from shopping, they said that they had repaired the tire and I asked the lady that checked me out what they did to it and she could not tell me. I asked her multiple times if she could find out and she said the person that repaired it was not there anymore or was at lunch whatever so I took the tire home, placed it back on my vehicle and aired it up because when I got home it only had 20 pounds in it and right on the side of the tire. It says 44 psi and when I got up to the max pressure I could hear it leaking in the exact same spot it was when I took it in and so I took the car back and then they tell me they cannot repair it but they can replace it so I asked for a rebate of my money because they did absolutely nothing put but put air in the tire and that’s not what I needed them to do. I needed them to repair the leak so I asked for a refund on my money and they said they could not give it to me because they repaired a bead leak, which was not the problem, they are a very inept group of individuals that work in that department and I would not recommend ever taking anything there and I knew it before I went. I should’ve never took it there in the first place. Hopefully they can learn to treat customers better and maybe they wouldn’t get reviews like this..Version: 24.4
Future is nowStore is great , great young workers , the old ones are rude and obnoxious and my thing is why do they hire security guards or loss prevention wich I’m pretty sure to my knowledge as being a business owner the store should have great insurance policy for loss , stolen, broken merchandise I would like to see instead of pain, loss prevention or a security guard. That’s just a waste of money higher. Younger teenagers and younger adults and also higher teenagers and younger adults with special needs a lot of big stores are doing it Kroger is doing it , meijers is doing it and aldi Is doing it I believe everybody deserves a chance in life, I think it would be a great idea and it would be better for the payroll, no use of hiring loss prevention or security guards just a waste of money and a waste of resources when you can build for the future by having the youth more involved remember, it’s all about the future that how you will sustain growth, no offense to the older people who are 40 and up I just believe with the name Wallmart lingers more with the youth and more technology, but overall it’s a great store with great prices I just wish they can stop being in the 90s early 2000s mindset hiring security guards and loss prevention wasting resources when the money can go to technology and to the youth I believe that the older people have had in advantage by earning their status into getting Social Security more quick quicker than the youth would Wallmart it’s time for a change let the change be the new future God bless.Version: 25.12.1
Yes I’ll go shopping at Walmart. From my couch!!!I know what I’m getting when I go grocery shopping (usually). I tend to pick out more than I need every time (not sometimes, every time) I go inside and walk around the store. What I really like about this app is you can pick exactly what you want, pick a time and they will deliver it right to your door. Since I am a Walmart member (worth the annual fee if you use Walmart for anything bc of the FREE delivery) there is not a delivery fee or a walk around and shop for me fee. I tend to tip 15% and find that is so worth the fee so that I can sit around on my couch on a Sunday morning with a cup of coffee and get on the Walmart app and shop for my “44lb” bag of dog food (remember I’m not in the store picking this thing up and taking it to my truck and then to my house and then blah blah blah) and other necessities and have them on my doorstep that morning. Win win for me. Use the app and have groceries delivered once. You’ll be hooked. Also, prices of everything are so high everywhere. But, Walmart still has the best prices (and you know it’s true) due to the mass amounts of products they buy and produce that are always available for pick up or delivery. Just my 2 cents on the topic. Oh, let’s not forget about the vast selection of everything else Walmart carries that you hate going in the store to buy around holidays (especially Christmas). Missing groceriesI was missing about $30 in groceries. I reported it in the app and it said to call #800. Had to speak with a customer service rep. Now I have to wait 3-5 business days for them to look into it and issue a refund. Today is Sunday. Could be a week from Monday before I maybe get my money back. Other option was for them to call the store and report and go pick up my missing items. I’ve been using them for almost 2 years. I’ve only had missing items a few times. Usually just one thing. So this shouldn’t take 3-5 business days. A few other refunds where they brought me damaged or expired (spoiled) groceries. One time they brought only a third of my $400 order. They said they were having computer issues but we’re still able to get a third of my order. I had to call two different stores to get resolved and it took several hours but they finally brought me the rest of my order. My missing items were expensive. A six pack of Evian water, a box of McCafe k-cup coffee pods, a pack of precut Cracker Barrel cheese. I’m having more and more issues. I couldn’t even get into the grocery side of the app last night. Had to delete it and reinstall. Then they were out of most of my favorite items. Then i couldn’t check out because of an error in the app. I had to get with tech support to complete the order. I lost my reserved delivery time because they don’t hold it very long anymore. About an hour. Then, about 10 items I ordered were not available. 3 items I didn’t receive and had to talk with customer service to investigate. Wait 3-5 days for possible refund. Use delivery from storefront to doorstep minimum of *2 or more weeklyI have nothing to say but great things about Walmart delivery however, majority of their delivery people do not speak English so at times there’s a language barrier in and of itself. For example, I put in petite French nail tips for my daughter stocking and instead I got petite French nail tips with black and gold lines and bedazzles. It’s little things like that that if you don’t put a substitution in, they put it in for you and demographically speaking without sounding in the least bit racist cause I’m not Hispanic people have a primarily different aesthetically pleasing to the eye nail then do Anglo-Saxon white housewife or that at a preteen so new to this site you’re looking to make your life easier and you come to the right place however in the substitution category, you need to be very clear in place what exactly your substitutions are or you can end up with some pretty wild things!!! Price point between Walmart versus Kroger’s Walmart versus Ft city Walmart versus 🎯 or simply any of theircompetitors is par for the course! You can’t compare savings of apppes and oranges when it comes to their prices and their competitors! Just be ever so very careful and cautious of listing what your substitute choices may be or you’re possibly going to be let down and if you’re like me — you’ll prolly not return these one off or 5 items !!!.Version: 25.49.2
Store needs better management on items available and NOT available !I can only imagine how hard it must be to try and keep track of items that are available and not available to customers shopping online through the app BUT… if this is going to be an option then someone needs to step up to the plate and do a better job… at least at the store in Oakwood Georgia!! While trying to place a fairly large online order for our Easter dinner.. we became very frustrated with with ALL the items that were shown as “not available”!! Sooooo many it was crazy!! So we decided to cancel our order and just go into the store and shop to see just what WAS available. Upon walking into the store, right off the bat there lo and behold were two of the items that did not show as available online or in store!! To make a long story short we were able to get everything we could not get online because it would not let us… in store!! Including the right sizes in the grandchildren’s shoes and all clothing for church on Easter Sunday!! Happy we were!! But WHY did it say so many items were not available in the store period?? And this happens soooooo many times! But usually we just cross it off the list and get what we can and go to another store to purchase what we need there. So Walmart is missing out on probably millions of dollars all because who ever is doing their inventory is not keeping up with it like they should! It’s a shame.. and it’s an inconvenience to us that’s for sure with having to go to another store when more than likely they really do have it! Just saying… do better Walmart!! Website and associated emails misleadingWalmart does not have their website and associated email instructions working properly. The app says things like free delivery but then when one gets to the checkout, it says delivery not available. Walmart also does not restock their items in anything remotely close to a timely fashion. When one wants to reorder something, typically it is not available at one's Walmart store location of choice for an unacceptably prolonged period of time - if Walmart wanted to do more business and satisfy its customers, it would keep much better track of inventory and keep its stores stocked with items in demand in a much more timely fashion, instead of expecting customers to go to other much less convenient locations to get the items they want. Also, when Walmart sends emails to notify customers that items are ready for pickup, it gives false instructions. In my most recent experience, the email instructed me to drive to "pick up" to have the item brought to my car, but when I arrived, not only did the employee who answered the "pick up area" phone line tell me I could not pick up my items there as the email instructed, but he hung up on me when I questioned him about why the email gave false instructions. The discourteousness of this employee either reflects poor training by Walmart or just low quality personnel hired by Walmart. Either way, it does not reflect well on Walmart..Version: 21.12.1
Major ongoing issuesThis is my 4th attempt using a different method for each attempt to resolve the issue. AFTER you place an your online order,(pickup,delivery or shipped) the option to “EDIT” or “Change” your order is impossible and will go as far as letting you make all the necessary changes and once you click “Update Order” it has been saying “Sorry,Error Try again at a later.” Or something similar. Even if it’s literally ONLY been 2mins since placing the order and it has available time for “Adding or Editing” items . There’s a couple hours left before the “Order Person” is beginning to complete the order, to have ready for the scheduled time slot . It’s beyond frustrating and I have lost count of how many times I have had to completely cancel my entire order, when it’s only ONE item that needs correcting. Ex; Change order to “Regular milk” instead the “low fat” I accidentally ordered instead. I have successfully made contact with a LIVE Customer Service Chat Agent for assistance in correcting or fixing the issue. Of course this issue is MY FAULT despite the fact I have followed and attempted ALL suggestions to fix it. Please help me/us/anyone who’s struggling with this time consuming issue. Otherwise I will (unfortunately) be forced to go back to the original shopping In-Store method and my nerves or anxiety will suffer greatly from it. Ben saved the day (and Walmart)This was a highly unusual pickup. In the rain! I cannot log in on app and indicate parking spot. I ask Will as he finished another delivery, in the rain, to please check me in as app not working. A bit later he tells me they cannot locate one of my totes can I return in a half hour or so? I go to the local grocer and acquire the few items that were not available on Wmt order. Cell rings. They found the tote..can I return…so I go back but now cannot log in on app as it shows I have no order. I walk up to the glass doors the delivery staff uses and tap on glass. As I am explaining to a young man, I observe that deer in the headlights look. Another young lady glances and walks the other way. Then a young man speaks up and says no worry we found the tote will bring your order out shortly. Within a minute or two out comes Ben with the full order. We load it up and he is polite, courteous, efficient, and kind. I asked if he was a manager because HE WAS ACTING LIKE ONE! BEN said No maam. I said HE SHOULD BE! He had a great attitude. He is a young man that should be recognized and raised up! Please give these two kudos and a raise and/or promotion. I am a little old white lady (that till three years ago was actively employed in the banking industry) so I can recognize someone with potential. Both Ben and Will have that potential! Walmart has gone downhillI used to love Walmart and the past couple of years it has amazed me of how much the mighty dollar means to this corporation! Train your employees please! I enjoy self check out due to the amount of mistakes at the checkout I used to find upon getting home and then going the 15 miles back, because our world is full of struggle, well, the clerk has to ring up multiple purchases and I had 36 candy bars. He didn’t just multiply the one I’d already rung in, that, btw, is doubled in price and half the size of what it was 10 years ago. He did something on a cell type device; to which made it impossible to use EBT, so I had to put it on my credit card. Then my credit card was compromised to a point of confusion and I couldn’t bring that candy back nor fix my credit card for some odd reason!!! I’ve shopped at this store since it opened. Never have I seen such a lot of untrained people and managers incapable of help and online telling me they can’t help either??? So, please regional, maybe you need to take a look at training people as I appreciate self check out very much. Please make sure that you train these people in multiplying on the cash register itself, obviously it’s much to difficult to use another device to get things more complicated and my credit card well, I pay enough for inflation really??.Version: 23.3
A few recommendationsPlease update your app for those of us who order Delivery/Pickup from the store, to be able to chat with the shopper & include an option for the shopper to send pictures of items unavailable. It stresses me out now that my car is in the shop to rely on workers who don’t care about their job. I have children who drink milk and I use milk in a lot of my dishes and baking. You have employees stating milk is unavailable, even when substitutions are allowed. When I spoke to an agent through Walmart chat & they provided me a phone number to contact my store, speaking to the employee who went back there stated there was milk on the shelf. He would have assisted me IF I was a Pickup order but since I was a delivery order they needed to ‘Speak to their manager who was at lunch.’ And when I used to have my vehicle and used Walmart pickup, you STILL have employees stating items are unavailable. I’ll have my husband run in the store to check & the item is right there on the shelf!!! If you’re going to hire employees who don’t care about their job, at least add the option to chat with them and send pictures of unavailable items. At least instacart does it!! And if the shopper doesn’t respond to us instacart can read the history and be able to assist us customers appropriately vs just taking our word. Not only will yall start to save money from having less refunds with bad quality items, yall can actually see who cares about their job and who doesn’t & let go of incompetent employees..Version: 24.43.3

Walmart Store #205I am a true Walmart kid. I can honestly say I grew up in Walmart because I help open & worked in the first #205 Walmart in PHILADELPHIA, MS on Pecan Avenue. Mr. Sam Walton is one of the people that I truly admire. Many things have changed since Mr. Sam passed away some for the good & some not so good but I love Walmart & love shopping in Walmart. I do believe that the service techs in the TLE need more training because in April I had a very bad experience with an oil change & buying 2 new tires. When they changed my oil they did not tighten my oil plug or my new oil filter and by the time I got home & got ready to go back to work that night all of my oil had leaked out all over my driveway, they did not vacuum out my driver or my passenger side they only vacuumed by drivers seat at the door, they did not put caps back on my new tire valves & when I asked why the clerk told me the new tires did not have them, I told my old ones did & she rolled her eyes at me & went & got some & put them on my tires. I am glad that I had extra oil in my garage & I know how to work on my own vehicle because I would have been stranded & missed work but I fixed my SUV & was just late for work that night . But I guess you have to have a few bad experiences to appreciate all the good experiences. I do & will always appreciate & shop at Walmart. Where are the receipts??!!This was once a good app. But now there is no way to get receipts from in-store purchases! Even after paying for the items through the app, there was a time when we could click on the receipt and choose which view we wanted. NOW, after paying, a quick flash and there is NOTHING!! If I want to return an item, there is NO WAY I can return it, because the iPhone pay does not give you a paper receipt, and it doesn’t give you an electronic receipt, either!! For all I know, you guys are ripping me off all my purchases and I have no way to prove it!! What are we supposed to show the theft-prevention person at the exit, who pretends to look at our purchases to make sure we didn’t shoplift? They want to see a receipt, but I don’t have any! This has been going on for several weeks now! I keep seeing updates, and I keep updating, but there isn’t anything to show for our purchases!! I was using this app to help me keep track of expired food, because it showed when I bought them. I was able to use it as price comparison at other stores. I can’t find any receipts from purchases! One Of The Worst StoresThe location in Tawas City, MI. was one of the worst locations I have ever been in. Since new management and a complete renovation of the store have taken place it has become a great deal better. I have to say that many of the delivery drivers are very bad at delivering to the wrong location and not giving you things you ordered. One example was a thick cut ribeye steak we ordered that you can only guess it was not delivered and probably because their dinner. I would also like to suggest that the Walmart App include a “NOTE” section on the checkout page so customers can request special things, such as; thick or thin sliced luncheon meats or cheeses or a large or small cut of beef, pork etc, or around a 12 lb. turkey instead of the most expensive one they can find which some customers might not want. I ask this because some customers cannot go into the store to shop for these sort of item requests because of disabilities and rely upon delivery to get their items. I cannot believe after all this time this simple addition was not implemented. Other than that I enjoy shopping from Walmart and having my orders delivered because my wife and myself are both disabled and Walmart makes our shopping experience so much better and easier for us to receive our grocery and non-grocery items..Version: 26.6.1
Makes life so much easierBelonging to Walmart’s plan for customers has made my life so much easier. Ordering needed supplies for ourselves and our pets has never been easier. My husband and I are both disabled and if I need something from groceries to clothes, to almost anything, all I need to do is pull up my Walmart app and add my needs to my cart. Delivery is fast, and usually always correct without any necessary substitutions. You can do this without joining the premium plan and get the same quality, but there are benefits to having the premium plan. For one you don’t pay a delivery fee. Under either plan option you also have the option of not tipping, but I always tip because I find the service well worth the small gratuity I give the driver. The tip is for the driver and not Walmart. There are other benefits to having the premium plan which far outweigh the cost, so I am going to give Walmart a much needed 10+ stars for all they do for me. They take the worry, energy and time, out of the equation for me. If you want your life to have less stress and hassle, join Walmart’s premium plan for customers or just download the Walmart app and get to relaxing with your needs met by the use of your fingers doing the work while your savings of gas, time and your energy stays with you. What free delivery and where to pickupI was loving this free delivery on orders and I had not had to go to get free pickup other that the groceries at my store and they do ok. I had ordered Diet 7 up when I first started with the Walmart+ because my 2 local stores and the groceries close to me were out of the drink and had been for awhile. I checked Walmart+ and I could get them delivered to my door at a very reasonable price so I ordered 4 cartons. They were delivered the next day by FedEx. I was very pleased. When I was getting close to running out again, I started looking everywhere for them and still no Diet 7Up to be found so I tried to order through Walmart+. I found the sodas and got ready to check out. The ticket said free delivery not possible, and I would have to pick them up in another store that I never go to that is about 25 miles from my home. It is a nice store but in another town that has nothing in it and for lack of a nicer way to put it, I don’t feel safe in that town alone. I canceled the order and called the 800# and the young man I spoke with was not very friendly. I told him I thought the least Walmart could do was to ship them to my local store for me to pick up. There was nothing in the sign up for Walmart+ that said you would have to go to different stores to get your orders. He put me on hold. When he came back on, he told me he had issued me a full refund and in the future if I wanted to sign up again, I should sign up for the service on a monthly basis. Walmart delivery is starting to improveLook, Walmart is finally improving and it’s a must they have because I order almost 3 times a week spending over $100 for food and personal items and at the end of the day when the delivery arrives it’s always short, or the food is missing or the personal items are not available but when I actually end up going to Walmart I see these items are actually available and when I speak to management about it all they tell me that it’s the outside company that shops the items and if they are overloaded with deliveries than you can forget getting all the items you requested or paid for!!! This is terrible furthermore, I have to spend almost 20 mins. On the phone with customer support trying to get all the missing items refunded. Also, lately, I’ve been getting a lot of expired food and rotten food food that’s bad lunchmeat that’s about to go bad it lasts maybe 24 hours then has slime all over it. Getting worse every updateI’m getting closer to removing a stop at Walmart from my errands list altogether, as this app is almost synchronous to the failings of the company as a whole. As for the app... here are my opinions: The good- nice to be able to scan a barcode and find a price in a store which seems incapable of maintaining an easy to read price to product program. Also nice to be able to scan something and read customer reviews and find out ya shouldn’t buy the piece of junk that has snagged your interest through clever packaging and lies. The bad- it shouldn’t take an app function so long to load that my screen dims while waiting. Loading savings catcher rewards literally takes that long. Speaking of savings catcher, since they rolled out the new auto redeem to Walmart pay - I've inadvertently used my Walmart bucks. So today when I need a Red Bull but I’ve got no cash, I check my savings catcher rewards only to discover it is $0. That’s fine. You don’t owe me a savings catcher reward. But get me used to working within a pattern of capabilities, then switch it up and cause me a measure of inconvenience I wasn’t expecting? I don’t owe you exclusive sales. THE THIEF I WAS NOT!!! Scan and go works unless manager & staff don’t know how.I did the scan and go process which I very much enjoy. However the staff there at the neighborhood Walmart after I asked if I could still do scanning go at the neighborhood Walmart like I do at the super Walmart and they said they believe so I tried it it worked, and I even was able to get it to work on the clearance items that I purchased to scan. However, the people in the store did not think that I could do it and they did not know it between each other way that we could do it or not, and when I got to the register, we had to recount everything as if I was some sort of a common thief. It was embarrassing and double the time that I was supposed to have been in there, using the scan and go function of the app. It was very very humiliating, and I am very upset about it. The manager, the whispers, the talk of the woman at the front with the mask you couldn’t see her face or her glasses were too dark. You couldn’t see if she was making fun or she was trying to be a jerk. It was really rude and I’m very upset. Why follow someone around the store and pier around the end caps of isles to make sure they’re scanning everything properly when at the checkout it all worked out to be exactly right I really wanted to say something but I did not however, I saw the manager walk past the woman at the checkout, and say, is everything OK here as if like there was something wrong. Definitely worth itWe absolutely love using Walmart plus and the Walmart app to do our grocery/Walmart shopping. It saves us money in the long one because we are not buying as many and pulse items and helps to stick to our grocery budget into our grocery list and it also helps us not run out of things that are Staples in our household with the subscribe option. It’s also really useful if we forget something and need something to be purchased and don’t have time to go do it ourselves we can have it delivered within an hour and that has proven to be a very useful option! I also like that they offer a place for a driver tip and then they allow you to adjust the driver tip based on the service. There’s been a couple of times where the service has been so incredibly above and beyond that I’ve Gone and doubled the tip that I wanted to give the driver and having that option is something I really love. I also love that we can get our other household Staples like toilet paper and garbage bags and even lawn care things delivered. I’m more than one occasion. We’ve used it for staple clothing like underwear, socks, or sheets or pillowcases or other household goods like that. It’s definitely worth every penny and if they start allowing us to use our Wic benefits online, I will be a lifetime subscriber!.Version: 25.39.2
Scan and go with self check-outFirst time I’ve encountered this, and I don’t normally rate, but am going to rate this portion based on this experience, as there should be a better way of handling this portion of the “experience.” If a customer is utilizing scan and go and the only registers for self checkout aisles in the entirety of the store are marked as 15 items or less, what is the point of scan and go? I walked up to the the self checkout register and only had to weigh two zucchini’s to finish my order, when an employee came up and stated that this checkout is for 15 items or less. I advised that I was using the Scan and Go and his reply was the same as before…I told him the reality was I only needed to weigh my zucchini’s and then I’ll be done. His next reply was “are all the items already scanned?” I looked at my cart, which had all of my items in bags and said “yes” and his reply was a rude sounding “well I didn’t know that, but this is for 15 items or less.” Trying to keep my cool, I looked around for another lane that is not a 15 item or less and didn’t see one, so stated “ok, thank you” and finished my order on the machine I was. I do not mean to hate on this person for attempting to enforce the 15 item limit, because I am of the same opinion that if there’s a limit you shouldn’t violate that, obviously within reason. I also don’t want to hate on this piece if the “experience,” just want to bring to light that there should be a better way of handling this with a customer or have dedicated scan and go registers..Version: 24.27
Don’t fall for “2 day shipping” or savings catcherLoved this app and Walmart. But a couple of the main things I liked have actually changed for the worse. First is the savings catcher. I’ve been using it for years. Matches the sale prices at other stores and puts them on a digital Walmart card for you. You used to be able to scan your receipt. But now they will only do it if you used Walmart pay and paid through the app. And Walmart pay has its own issues. First it’s slow and customers behind me in line tend to think I’m just playing on my phone. Even some of the cashiers don’t seem to understand. And sometimes I want cash back which doesn’t seem to be an option on Walmart pay. Next is their 2 day shipping. Things used to show up in the promised 2 days. But the last two things I’ve ordered have taken 4 days on one and 2 weeks on another. They are only counting actual transit time. NOT processing time! It’s not 2 day until Fed Ex actually receives it from Walmart. And both my items were sold shipped by Walmart. And both said 2 day shipping. And both promised a delivery date in 2 days before I hit the pay button. Then magically the date changes to four days or beyond. Keep that in mind for gifts. Mis-Delivered OrderMy Walmart order was apparently delivered to the wrong address by the carrier today. When speaking to the customer service rep about it, I feel she was VERY rude and unprofessional. At a point during our discussion of the situation, the initial cs rep (who was very kind and considerate) passed my called to someone in a position to handle it further. At a point during our conversation, that woman SEEMED to indicate that one of my options was that she could request a replacement for the items. I told her that would actually be my preference rather than getting a refund, especially since the refund would take several days and I needed the items right away. At the time, I had no way of knowing that the cs rep COULD NOT enter the replacement in the system right then and the only choice was a refund. She was VERY RUDE in her way of clarifying it, even stating that she “could not go out and find the package wherever it is and give it to me” in a VERY condescending tone. Of course I replied that I knew that wasn’t an option and that would not be expected of her, and I also didn’t appreciate the tone in which she spoke. I’m not sure how Walmart handles such a situation as this; however, I am a loyal customer who shops in the stores and online regularly. I’m sure cs calls with customers are recorded. Technical & Customer & Account Support Beyond the AppThe Walmart App is user-friendly, but it can be frustrating when you need technical or account support that is not listed on the App. It's often difficult to reach a live agent for technical, customer, or account issues. Do not close or delete your account, as this will prevent you from opening a new one or reopening the old one. You will need to create a new account with a different email address and phone number. If you attempt to open another account using your old email address, you will also need a new phone number. You cannot use a new email associated with your original phone number to create a new account, and technical support cannot make this change. Walmart technical support says this is for security reasons and gives you the runaround when you do finally get through to them. This is one of the first apps I’ve used where you cannot update your phone number or email unless you create a new account with a different phone number. If you only have one phone number, you're out of luck because you cannot open an account with your previous phone number ever. Consideration needs to be made in fixing this problem. Mediocre App Pushy, Static, so-so communicationI got W+ half off for BlkFri 2025. Started using app after realizing it’s the only way to Text with shopper and keep favorites list. What I Hate. 1) my favorite stuff is SPAMMED full of “sponsored” items I never ordered…Thnks W+. 2) you can’t pinch and zoom in many parts of the app so it’s best using on tablet. When they make substitution suggestions and other places you can’t really see the details of the items. 3) substitutions can’t be customized. Example( wrapped broccoli crowns say one crown. NEVER 1, Usually 2-3) BUT The ONLY substitute is a single unwrapped broccoli crown. You can’t ask for two—- UNLESS you are right there when your shopper starts and you ask them to do it. there are lots of these aggravations throughout the app. But if you shop from a browser things get wonky in your “my stuff” 4) finding what you want - again pushy app ignores search terms and throws all kinds of “options” read$$ up first. I searched for “Squirt canned soda” and I had to scroll thought 6 or seven screens of shipped cases, 12 packs, bottles, etc before i could see the “IN STORE 12 PACK” with a price per ounce four to five times less than what W+ kept pushing on me. I found it just before deciding they didn’t carry in store anymore and was going to buy elsewhere. NOT Customer Friendly. LASTLY I’m going to go into the store and check shelf prices to app prices to see if I’m really saving money or if W+ is jacking prices to compensate for free shipping and delivery..Version: 26.18

Deliveries and ShipmentsI've been having issues with getting my deliveries and shipments, somehow or another the delivery guys and shipping guys are delivering my packages to the wrong address and I don't know how or why when they go to google maps they're somewhere else but not my house not even my street, when I call Walmart none of the agents can help me, I don't understand why this is happening because when I google my address I see my address, other delivery companies find my correct address why can't the Walmart delivery guys find my address I'm not in the Country I'm in a town, small town but I get delivery here all the time and I have In home delivery and those drivers find my address why can't the other delivery guys find it, I need help is there another number to call someone from Corporate office please I need help some of my orders are vitamins and Diabetic protein drinks things I really need, but someone else is getting my orders, if my packages were delivered to the right street address and building even if not correct apartment number my neighbors would bring it to me, I need help I try to call/text these drivers they don't answer or respond to my calls or text what's the use of having this option if the drivers don't answer my calls or text please help me somebody please.Version: 25.32.2
Horrible total revamp in Sept of 2021(Starting with this - when providing feedback directly on Walmart app, limited characters, so they only must want a tiny snip it of feedback) Now the “shipping only” products are included, even though you can “sort”, and although products that populate will show all the options like “pick-up”, “in-store”, & “ship”, some items even with the pick-up option underneath it will end up in your cart, but to be shipped, & not with your pick up order. For one, If you don’t catch it in check out, than you won’t get those items when you to pick up, they’re shipped instead. And the other is if you DO see them, go back to shopping, remove & add again,…sometimes that works & it’s added to pick up order, or sometimes it just keeps going to a shipping section in your cart at check out…no matter if you remove from cart, or by just searching in the shopping section. I don’t know about most everyone else, but I need a way to shop WITH OUT SEEING THE ITEMS THAT ARE SHIP ONLY. Us consumers should have the option to eliminate completely, sure there’s a sort feature, but all that does is add a never ending list of items, plus they have other sellers stuff there too, although you can stop scrolling once you no longer are seeing the “pick-up” options on items. Just frustrating, I got so used to Walmart pick up being easy I guess, this is what does it for me & several people I know have also stopped using Walmart for online grocery shopping across several states. It feels like they’re tricking you into spending more money, truly appears this way. Delivery NightmareThe first time I ordered grocery delivery my order was stolen by the driver, but when I contacted Walmart support I was met with excellent customer service. I ordered a second time without problem. However today’s just been a nightmare. I had my order scheduled for 7-8, and at 6: 46 received an email my order would be there at 6:52. At 7:13 I get an email letting me know the substitutions, and what was unavailable. 8:20 rolls by so I use chat assistance to contact a customer service agent, where I’m assured my delivery will come, it’s just taking longer due to higher volumes of merchandise being ordered. 9:10 comes so we called to ask on the status of the order (we doubted it was coming at this point but wanted to know what was going on). We were then rudely told that no one was home (uh, yes we were) so the ordered was returned by the driver, that the store was closed, and to call back at 8am to get my order rescheduled. What?! We seriously waited hours for our order only to be told off, and to call back the next day. Why couldn’t he just reschedule us or refund us, save us the trouble having to go through this again. And the whole time on the Walmart app it just said the status of my order was ‘preparing’, and still says that. This whole process has been a nightmare..Version: 20.32.1
Tip!Walmart OR WHATEVER company Walmart chooses to place blame on the incompetence of being able to follow specific detailed instructions not just in Spanish or English, I really don’t care! However, I have left very detailed specific instructions that UPON ARRIVAL TO CALL ME! Do they? NOPE! In the instruction box where they ask you to leave instructions on how to deliver your groceries and other items, I have left very specific detailed instructions, and not only in English but in Spanish. Do they follow those instructions? NOPE! Not at all! My instructions are “BEFORE ARRIVAL PLEASE CALL ME”!!!! Do they call? No, but I'm not surprised! Following instructions is to hard for them I guess! I ask that they are to call me so that I could meet the driver outside because this house is very large, and the house has three different entrances, the main house which is in the middle, has a BROWN DOOR, one apartment to the RIGHT, has a BROWN DOOR, and then my apartment is the far LEFT and has a WHITE DOOR! Yet, however, they continue to leave my groceries at the two brown doors even though in the notes, I specifically stayed that I, live at the white door. Apparently the drivers are colorblind! And for those who want to say well, they only speak Spanish. I have left in the notes specifically notes in English and in Spanish, no excuses!.Version: 23.41
It isn’t simple anymore. Took away Everything Good.NEW: They put lists and everything else back onto the app. Yay! I don’t know why they took it away, but they seemed to have listened after two years. OLD: They changed it and made it to where you’re only ordering online now. I liked the other version better, where I could check the availability at other stores myself. However, you can’t do that anymore unless you go back to the home menu and change your store. You can no longer see “other pickup options” for availability, and you can no longer access many things on the app, such as my list!! That’s how I did my grocery shopping. You can only add items to the cart now. I want to shop for myself, not make an order. You have to go to another section in the menu and there are many features that take you to your internet browser. They don’t actually have those features on the app anymore. They changed this (according to the Walmart website article) sometime during September 7th-9th 2021. That’s when the new update came out. I hate it. Change it back. Nothing is separated like it is supposed to be. I don’t want everything to go towards online orders. The new update is awfulMy auto updated new version caused me more trouble than ever before. 1) my resent pickup order was sent to another store which is not my designated/preferred store without let me know. 2)I did not receive order confirmation email after I placed the order.3) when my husband drove to our regular store, he was told there is no my order, after 30 min search, he was told the order is at another store 20 to 30 min away.3) he drove there to get our pick up order and was told there I’d no our order there either , all the workers ignored him for more than one hour, no body wanted to give answer, including manager, eventually he had to leave empty handed after more than 3 hs for our regular 20 to 30 min pick+driving time. 4) Walmart successfully charged on my credit card for this pickup and informed me 15 min before my designated time stating “pickup is ready even informed me which item they substitute. Strange??5) the new version is no more work properly on my IPad Pro, it stay in vertical all the time, nor rotation to the need, seem it just just for iPhone. We are seriously thinking give up Walmart after so much trouble and 1.5 yes successful pickup services from Walmart. I want my oldversion back!! Or fix the problems! Pick up orders check out a mess!Now I’ve looked and seen many people complaining of the same issue to the point where I believe I didn’t think I needed to leave a review about the issue and just sent my own email like the developers requested right? So I haven’t heard anything back & I’ve tried to place an order all yesterday literally, entering my pin over and over hoping it would go through until products in my cart started to go out of stock and until I had to change my reserved time for pick up 3 times, I tried until it wouldn’t even let me put in the pin # just simply gave me the error message! I wake up early this morning thinking “OK maybe it was just a cluster of people trying to order yesterday”. I try again, and once again when trying to pay with my EBT card I continue to get the same error I did the entire day before “something went wrong. Please wait and try again later”. This is something that you guys should have fixed by now with all the complaints, this is absolutely ridiculous! And I am fuming because there is a reason you have this feature, I don’t know maybe Walmart is losing money from it but we are in a pandemic we have at risk people who need this feature to keep from going into the cesspool that is Walmart and this pin feature is hindering individuals from handling their orders. I think I’m going to do what someone else said, I will shop at another store until this issue is fixed. Because obviously you don’t care about fixing the issue, you care more about “what your app looks like” than the actual usage for your customers so since I can’t place my order and I have to have someone pick me up to take me grocery shopping I will go to a whole other store. Walmart App is NOT USER FRUENDLYEVERY time I use this app to order groceries for my 92 year old mother, I have a horrible expense at checkout. From the app randomly closing several times at each stage to the Substitution section NEVER working. I always OPT OUT if any substitutions (why? Because I’ve found that the mostly male non-native drivers do not pick out next best option for us. It’s not their fault, they just don’t have the context). The app will either not accept my selection to opt out at the selection point or by registering “done.” It just sits there cycling endlessly. I just had to enter my selection and hit “done” MORE THAN 30 times before it randomly chose to accept and reflect my choice. And I used 3 different screen styluses and 2 differentials fingers. And the MOST frustrating part?? Well that would be losing my delivery date/time reservation and having to wait another day for my order because it took almost AN HOUR to checkout! And don’t even get me started about using it (or being unable to use it) on my iPhone. It always says there’s no internet connection . . . and then I access Walmart website via Chrome and surprise! No problem. Y’all need to have real folks test your app as end users and see how ridiculous it is. Next time I encounter this nonsense, I’m just going to get in my car and drive to Kroger..Version: 23.40
DEFINITELY NOT 5 starsIdk if this will make it to the feed but I hope it does. Walmart is amazing … their products and prices…, but the PEOPLE and employees LACK training, integrity, knowledge and drive. What happened to QUALITY? And honest businesses? Walmart will advertise ALL these products on their site- specifying the certain location and store—— and you ORDER these items and even choose substitutes based off of what they ADVERTISE that they have (AVAILABLE/IN STOCK/NOT IN STOCK) but then you don’t receive these items but you know what is always available and what you receive?!? WALMART BRAND PRODUCTS!!!! They will advertise a brand name which is unavailable but THRIR VERSION is always available! It’s beyond a pyramid scheme- THEN they put a HOLD on say $460 when your order is $380 total then when you have items missing or not received, your order total is say $310- so HERE THEY ARE WITH $150 of YOUR DOLLARS FOR 10 days while you’re not only without the ITEMS TGAT THEY *ADVERTISE* oh! Don’t forget the delivery charges and Walmart plus and the fact that u paid ten dollars to get it within an hour but you received HALF YOUR ORDER?! lol FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!!! And I’m without my money (not EBT or food stamps) for a week- and the food I needed- what if this was CHRISTMAS DINNER AND YALL FORGOT AND DIDNT HAVE HALF MY ORDER /ITEMS?!.Version: 24.34.2
NEVER works properly...at a financial expense to the customer...of course.The first time I had issues with this app was basically from the beginning. I would add groceries to the cart then notice MANY of the items would never be in my grocery order and these items were never out of stock or substituted items. After several times of this happening...I started paying attention to my cart before completing my order. Things would disappear from my cart, because the store was out of stock, but I never received a notification of this. This happened for months. It seems this was fixed. The NEWEST glitch is much worse! I removed at least $30 of items from my cart because I needed to lower my total amount due to under $300. I removed items from my list just to continually go to checkout over FIVE TIMES just to see the items continually are not removed!!! After 5 times I was close to losing my reservation spot so I just checked out even though the items I had removed many times still remained in the cart even though I removed them multiple times. I have no choice this time due to time constraints and needing food tomorrow. I attempted to access the help site for the app before writing this review...and OF COURSE that didn’t work. I received an error message that the site is not available. I’m not surprised. I will NEVER use this app or shop at trashy Walmart again. I’m tired of being ripped off. I definitely feel this is a deliberate “issue” with the app to get more money with each order. If this happens with every online order...they’re making millions more each day..Version: 20.25
Got charged 98 bucks when I didn’t sign upI had this app for a while and really enjoy it however one day I open it up and there’s a add telling me about the new member ship plus. Well I’m not interested so I click the x button. Later on I got charged for 98 dollars in our bank account from Walmart, I look at my emails and purchase history and saw no 98 dollar payment charge. So we thought our card was stolen. However after a few days I go back to my account and I saw it said plus on it and I was like “ I didn’t pay for that” then I checked how much it cost to be a member (98 bucks) and I instantly knew that’s were our charge was from! I was so upset because I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THAT. I would have known if I signed up for something that’s 98 BUCKS. Well I look on Walmart website and it said it would not be refunded!! But I never even sign up for the plus account. I didn’t even get a email of the receipt for the plus account. So I connected Walmart and since it was less then 5 days of having the pluse account, they would refund me. So greatful for the lady who helped me! Most companies are like “we can’t refund you since you already payed” but nope, she was very happy to help and I’m extremely happy it got fixed. However if this is a bug, please look into it. So if you get charged randomly 98 bucks, make sure you didn’t some how accidentally get Walmart plus..Version: 22.24
