Just on the cusp of perfectionThis game is gripping, thrilling and entertaining all in the right ways and I have beaten the whole game, front to back, with all the achievements about 4 times. The atmosphere is beautiful, the music is majestic and the characters are terrifying. The only reason I cannot give this 5 stars, despite my love for the Little Nightmares franchise and the amazing gameplay is that it can give you very small timeframes, not provide a tutorial and has some movement kinks that I feel need to be ironed out. To keep it short, and without spoilers, you essentially have to die in the final boss to be able to make it because it gives you an infinitely small window to do what you need to do (the boss battle, mind you, was also slightly underwhelming for Little Nightmares’ standards). The lack of tutorial was never truly an issue for me but sometimes it was a little confusing on what she was able to do and once I did it, it was like, “woah, I could do that?”. The movement has to be the bane of my existence though as sometimes when you’re frantically tapping to run away due to the horrors that proceed you, she decides that the quickest route to where you tapped is to run around in circles for a second or two; not terrible but not exactly what you want when you’re running away from death. I also have a bug in my game which was consistent throughout all 3 play throughs (so I’m not sure if anyone else got it) where the menu got noticeably smaller the more you progressed… was it a funny pun at “LITTLE Nightmares”??? Idk, but it was something which only slightly bothered me..BolverkovVersion: 1.3.1

Love and hate at the same timeYes, I love very little nightmare, but I can’t even get past the second level. Is this only hard for me or is it and it’s easy for everyone else? I don’t know like this is just so hard. It’s hard for me because once I get the ladder down I press the button you know And then I once the ladder gets down I can’t get past the eyeball that gets light on you and then you freeze obviously and then I can’t get up the ladder so like how do you do this is this just hard for me and easy for everyone I mean like it’s really fun and also scary at the same time but like I mean like is it just me can everyone get past the ladder one not the one where it’s a ladder and then you have to get into that one, but can you get? Creepy Cool!I loved discovering and figuring out the puzzles to get to the next room/level. Very cute creepy fun game. Wish I could give it half a star more. The only reason it does not get 5 is bc there were absolutely no instructions, besides tap twice to run, on how to control your character how to move, or what she was capable of. It was fun discovering it for the most part until one level where she’s all of a sudden supposed to do something you’ve never had her do before. Also there seemed to be a glitch in a level where I had figured out the course but she kept dying bc she wasn’t moving fast enough. This is a super cool gameHave always wanted to try this game but when I saw it on Arcade finally, I grabbed it. Even cooler than I imagined, I’m really digging it. The puzzles are just hard enough that I have to take some time, but I’m not getting frustrated. There aren’t a lot of puzzle games this good. It’s worth it. Update: finished it and immediately played it again to find more boxes. This is an ideal game for puzzle lovers. The art is rich and layered, and serves to enhance the game because you’re never sure what to interact with. It’s so well designed. There is that logic and simplicity that comes with an exceptional puzzle game. I Really Love This Game!!!!I like this game a lot! I started playing Little Nightmares on my Nintendo and when I can’t play on my Nintendo I play on my iPad and I play Very Little Nightmares AKA this game. Addicting Game, However…I really enjoyed this game and found myself playing for extended periods. The puzzle aspect, and how everything in a room generally connects together, is fun and honestly quite challenging sometimes. The sound effects and simplistic graphics really work as well. However, as many other pointed out, the controls with the tapping movements seem to bug out often. They can become extremely annoying/frustrating, especially in parts that require quick movement to escape a danger. It’s easier when you realize you can double-click on one end of a room and your character will auto-run to that spot. Unfortunately if there’s any climbing involved, this auto-run feature halts and you have to manually climb, then continue running. I wish the creators thought of a better mechanic for movement. Other than that, really great game. Love the quasi-evil-open-ended ending as well 😈. One final note - Maybe it’s just in my head, but I find it a bit weird and concerning the little helpful creatures appear to be miniature Klansmen. OMG so coolI For one love this game I love those cool like monsters and stuff, but I was really sad at the end and kind of confused. I didn’t know if like I actually died or I took off my jacket to be able to swim or something but if I actually died, I am very sad dude why would you do that? Great game, but controls are ickyI just recently purchased this game since i had a trail of apple arcade, and i’m a sucker for little nightmares. the game is challenging, the ambience is great, and so far has kept me on my toes. the only critique i have is the movement controls. they seem very buggy, and make it quite difficult to move in quick times, when you’re in danger and have to. my example of this is the level im on right now, i believe it’s level 10. you have to climb up a wall while trash falls down at the same time. the buggy controls kill me every time i almost reach the top. pleaseeee fix this !.🥺🤍 SiMpVersion: 1.3.1

Could be fun if not for the tappingI love little nightmares and was really happy to find out there was a mobile game. My only issue is there’s no joystick or even a press and hold option for movement. It’s constant tap, tap, tap, tap, tap. This is not only annoying but makes it difficult to move to avoid obstacles. An underrated prequel to a masterclass horror gameIt can be very fun, the puzzles will really make you think, and getting all of the secret boxes really brought out the explorer in me, as well as seeing the references that come with each one, the last one is my favorite but I won’t spoil it. Annoying controlsEnjoyed the game up to a point. Although some imprecision in the controls was a bit frustrating, it was ok up to the end of chapter 13. At that point you have to steam the guy and then run and jump in an escape hatch. No matter what I did, the character would not jump in the hatch. She’d jump down, run to the hatch, then turn and just stand there until the guy killed her. Didn’t matter how quickly I tapped, or how much, or where — I tried all sorts of variations. Devious puzzles, creepy artwork, total fun.Anyone with an appetite for the disturbing and uncomfortable ala Edward Gorey will appreciate this game. Add in some challenging puzzles and we’ve got a winner. Great stuff to be had here, and I loved it all except for the occasional puzzles that relied heavily upon fast reflexes vs creative thinking. I prefer my puzzles to require thought not fast thumbs. Great little adventureThe game play through was quite fun but the tapping in the points to walk got quite frustrating at times, especially when needing to run and the camera just doesn’t keep pace and your having to “button mash” the taps to keep running. Good game but…I absolutely love this game! The gorgeous graphics, eery ambiance, and puzzle aspect. However, my game playing experience has been halted by a very annoying bug. I’m currently on level thirteen, where you need to cover the pipes of toxic gas. A disturbing masterpiece.VLN was in fact the first game in the little nightmares franchise I’ve ever played, and it got me into the entire series. Bug in Apple Arcade versionI’m leaving this review since there is no way to let the developer know there is a huge bug with the Apple Arcade version of the game unless you want to register an account to “ask a question”! Very unbalancedI was thoroughly enjoying this game until the difficulty level went from easy to sadistic mid-level. You will have no trouble at all reaching a room with panning searchlights. Everything is perfectly doable in this room until you get to the far right where you must be able to tap on a space about the size of a single pixel with split-second timing four times in a row while lowering a lift, and if you somehow manage to do that after about three hundred attempts, you’ll have to sprint past a searchlight panning so fast it’s practically a strobe light. Needs ImprovementI was really enjoying this game, until I reached level 13. I have died more than two dozen times, because if you are a millisecond off from tapping the hatch you die. When I finally beat the level, the game froze and restarted me at the same spot, and not onto the next level. Frustrating?I’m a massive fan of Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares 2 on console. Very Little Nightmares hits me as just being frustrating. The controls are incredibly fiddly and annoying. The parts that require action-based, time-sensitive tapping when the game barely works well under the best circumstances is unreasonable. On top of this, the puzzle elements feel arbitrary and are made worse by the nature of Little Nightmares meaning that you have NO IDEA what your character is trying to accomplish. The character does not grow or change, the puzzles are simplistic, and the concept relies on the player making (sometimes multiple) errors before the solution becomes obvious. This game is trashNow that I got that out of the way. I wanted this game to be cool. It’s got a good concept but trying to make the little character go where you want is abysmal. It’s not that I don’t know what I’m supposed to do or how to do it. The game simple wont do it. Without giving a spoiler there are places you have to touch to move your character and when I touch them repeatedly the little f****r doesn’t move or takes the craziest not useful and level losing route to get there. Running a maze with janky controls. What could go wrong?Puzzles in this game are fine. However, when you have to run away from perils and all you can do is tap or double-tap, you’re going to have a bad time. To make matters worse, the game is a side-scroller but it’s in vertical orientation, so you can’t see much of what is coming or where you’re going until it’s too late. The First Instalment in the Little Nightmares Slop EraSo first off the game crashed twice on me, and I had to reset the game twice more because of glitches that made it impossible to progress. There was also a consistent visual glitch where the player character’s shadow appeared in a separate location from the character herself. The game itself is full of obtuse and idiotic puzzles which have solutions so nonsensical it veers into troll territory. This is not a Tarsier Studios (LN1 & 2 creators) production, but was instead made by another studio, much like fellow slop-game LN3. The, ah, ‘twist’ will be obvious to anyone with three braincells, and aesthetically it is an abomination. I will be updating my review if the App Store ever makes it possible to rate lower than 1 star. Frustrating & buggyGame play was good, interesting enough to keep me engaged past 20% complete, then I went to the main menu to look at settings and now none of my progress is saved. Wants me to start again at the beginning. Takes way too long to play straight through so this is unplayable. I found 3 of the hidden boxes and the counter just kept showing 0.
