Facing Sandy...this is the one.Use this and Hurricane HD. Yes, it costs something, but the information has kept us days ahead of useless, draining and sensational newscasts and local/state govt emergency information that has only been frustrating at best when trying to move loved ones, food and other preparations. My favorite weather appIt is still my go-to weather app regardless of where I am although it has some shortcomings. The graphical representation of the data is excellent and visually appealing. Sometimes when the app is started it does not refresh and I have to change to another favorite city and then go back to make it refresh. Frequently, the low temperatures in winter in one of the cities where I spent quite a lot of time are way too low, sometimes even by 7-8 degrees Celsius, but I suppose this is due to the weather model behind the data. Also, the data feedback does not always work. Must have App for TravelersHave used this App for several months before I wrote this review. Weather info is very accurate. I recently went on a cruise & had each Port saved as a favorite. Very best weather App for EuropeI have used the Pro version for a number of years and found it to be the best Weather App around for Europe for my use. It seems to be fairly accurate in its predictions and has a lot of information. I prefer the previous edition for my iPad. The newer version is slower calling up the moving pictures over a time period. I find the newer version more complicated to use. Best weather app for where I liveI've used this app for a few years now. I live in the country and this app lets me choose the specific area I live in. There are towns 20 minutes from me, yet I can still isolate my exact location to get my weather information for exactly where I live. This is important to me as I have often noted that even 20 minutes from here is having different weather than what my location is experiencing. I find this precision important. Not good for OttawaIt hasn't been very good predicting the weather for Ottawa, or even giving the same day forecast. It seems to be incorrect every day now. I look outside and its pouring with rain and Weather Pro is saying its sunny with not a cloud in the sky. Give me a break! And the lack of radar is a serous omission.
