Only Weather App You’ll Ever Need.This is the absolute BEST weather app I have ever used, and I don’t plan to ever download a different one. This app beats all others for its quality, ease-of-use, user-friendly interface, and plethora of useful features. This all does everything those fancy schmancy subscription-based apps do, for a much smaller and ONE TIME ONLY fee. That fact alone was my main incentive for downloading eWeather in the first place—if i’m going to pay for an app, it should unlock all the features. Good on this company for doing just that. For the level of information this app makes accessible, they could easily get away with charging monthly or at least increasing the initial price, and yet, they don’t. If you’re on the fence about downloading this app, take it from me: YOU WON’T REGRET IT. I have happily relied on eWeather for years as my only weather source; that will never change. I even persuaded my mom, a big weather person who peruses various weather sources, to download this app. Initially, she was hesitant to pay for such an app, but once I showed her everything it does she knew it was a no-brainer, and to this day, she talks about how great this app is. Still the best all-around comprehensive weather app in the store!This is still my "go-to" favorite weather app. I say “still” because eWeather HD gives me more useful information than any other weather app. I know this because I have purchased more than twenty weather apps and eWeather Still comes out on top. Of course, I pay for what I use because it is worth it and I know from experience that serious developers don't work for free any more than user's work for free. So, I choose to pay up front because I despise intrusive advertising. One way or another developers deserve to be paid for their efforts. This really is a professional piece of software. I truly hope the developers continue to support this application because it really is the best I have found, and I have tried and paid for so many! Since I don't live in earthquake counry any more the quake info is less important but eWeather still beats the competition! I was using Dark Sky along with eWeather but since Apple bought Dark Sky it has gone down way hill... My Go-to ForecastWe live in the country in North Texas where weather can change quickly, so current radar & forecasts are a little Off to Earth and to imperative. I use this app on both my iPhone & my iPad. It provides all I need I for this area, plus the same kind of info for cities where our grown kids live. When we plan a trip to a different part of the country, I temporarily add that location weeks before so we know what to expect. The graphics are incredible, & the data to back them up is rich & as accurate as your local TV forecast. Weather warnings, recent earthquakes, tides, & Amber alerts are also available. Options allow you to customize what you see & hear. I can't think of anything they haven't thought of! The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the occasional lack of consistency between the main page with forecasts for the next several days plus all the stats for moon phase, hours of daylight, etc., & the next page showing long or short (your choice) descriptions of the forecast. Those used to be in sync, but recently they don’t always appear to be updated with the same forecast as the main page. Fantastic Weather App!Buy this app! You won’t regret it. I wrote the following review 7 or 8 years ago and it still stands. I use this app each and every time I want to check the weather, about 5-10 times per week these days. The improvements to the graphics over the years have been excellent, but the addition of radar is my favorite! It follows thunderstorms and hurricanes almost in real time! Enjoy! —- I love this app! I use it 10-30 times daily to check forecasts, temp & barometric pressure in my relatives' areas and in my own. I am disabled and significantly affected by the barometric pressure. I also recently moved across the country, so it's very helpful for me to keep track of the weather & pressure back home & in my new climate. My fave weather appWhen I show it to others, they want it. Got it for the progressed barometer readings for the day - useful to figure out if yr migraines are triggered by pressure changes. Pretty accurate on when precip is expected. And can check weather in surrounding areas. Lovely graphics organized on the screen. International earthquake alerts for those interested in, like, the world. Keep track of weather in foreign countries I'd like to visit. Loads pretty quick too. U probly need this. HOWEVER-- update: I recently find that the report of the actual current weather is not at all accurate. It can be pouring outside and this app says it's cloudy. In other words, it's not up to the minute. So looking out the window will have to do for that, but it means I may not be able to trust the current temp reading. My other apps, AccuWeather and The Weather Channel provide good real time reports. A year later I find the reports are still not quite current in my area. But the general forecast seems close enough. Love the layout tho. Nice graphics. Very quick to navigate thru features. Best Weather App on iOSI have been using this weather app for years & it’s always been great & after the update, it’s tops! The only reason I gave a 4 star rating & not a 5 is because in my area most of the time when the pollution gets up to moderate or severe, the section on the app that shows which type of pollution is high & how high it is says pollution data not available when I click it on the radar map. I’ve also noticed that in bigger cities & other areas it has more informative info on most of the other types of pollution & my area only has the PM 2.5 & O3 . This just might be the type of monitoring equipment there is in my area, but it doesn’t explain why it seems it’s always unavailable when it gets bad here. Just strange. I have asthma & I have come to rely on this info to tell me what types of pollution trigger my attacks, as well as the health alerts, & I can’t thank the developers enough for supplying this info in an easy to use weather app. So, thanks again, & if you could figure out why it seems to cut out when the pollution gets bad, & maybe add the other types of pollutants, (if possible), you will get your 5 star review. Updated rating and reviewI’ve come back to this app after living with some others for quite awhile. I had faulted a previous version for not providing (or so I thought) information on the amount of precipitation expected. But one of the two selectable weather providers does (at least now) provide that information, which is very helpful, especially in an hourly forecast. This app has some great features that most other apps don’t, like the real time temperature in the app’s icon. And the customization possible in the radar/map display goes beyond Weather Underground’s Storm in many ways. I wish it could display weather fronts, and I wish the app gave access to the National Weather Service’s forecaster discussion, but even without those this app is probably the best there is for weather nerds. New users should seek out the online manual on the designer’s website here. Superb weather app!Great app offering more info than any others I have seen. Gorgeous graphics that are very logically laid out. The only feature I have yet to test out is the animated radar, a must-have feature for me. If that works as described this is by far an app worth every cent of it's purchase price. If you enjoy or need great detail about weather in multiple locales this app is simply outstanding. A powerful weather app!The large amount of weather data this app offers is not apparent at first. The view showing the multi-day forecast packs more data than is obvious at first glance, as the "now" view shows different data from the forecast view, including barometric pressure history/forecast for 48hrs (24h prior/24h future). There is also a very nice radar component that is not obvious, and the app offers an abundance of alerts. On the other hand, I find the weather clock — the most touted aspect of the app — to be the least user-friendly. Although it does contain quite a bit of hourly data, it can only display one aspect of the hourly forecast at a time (e.g. temp OR prob of precip, but not both). Hopefully, the user interface for hourly forecasts will be improved in the future, and I also would like to see the hourly forecast go out further than 24 hrs. Love it!EWeather HD has several easily accessible formats displaying an amazing amount of data, for virtually everywhere. You can quickly move from an hourly projection to a 10-day forecast to a map or terrain view showing clouds by satellite or a radar loop of past, live and projected radar, and zoom in and out from the whole country to street level view. In the 24-hour projection you can drill down to change the type of data shown from temp, feels like, chance of precip, amount of precip, wind speed and direction, humidity, dew point and geomagnetic. In the 10-day you can see a summary of all days or highlight a specific day and see a breakdown of important parameters for that day. It even shows earthquakes and tides and more, if you want it to. BEEN MY FIRST GO-TO WEATHER APP SINCE ITS INCEPTION!I was one of the first couple hundred people that noticed and bought this weather app on the first day. I can’t remember when it first came out exactly, but it has been my FAVORITE for years! Ever since that first day - this weather app has been incredibly reliable, accurate, and has a systemic flow that provides quick and excellent weather information from a quick glance, to providing historic weather data that no other weather app (that I have seen thus far) has!!! The colors are absolutely beautiful, attractive, and easy to read. All of this, and the company has never made a move to gouge their customers with silly subscriptions. Great! Best weather app I have.Update: cooler photorealistic view now in the new version. Still my go to weather app. This is my favorite weather app. Works great and the alerts it delivers for hazardous conditions are very much appreciated. It has a very cool layout and provides a lot of information. Very customizable. Two sources of weather data are available and you can choose one or the other (or both) depending on your location. Very easy to see the upcoming 10 days via icons placed across the bottom of the screen, or the next 12 to 24 hours on a "weather clock" with customizable icons representing the forecast conditions. There is a graph showing the change in temperature or the barometric pressure over the last 24 hours (you can switch between them). I think the radar display is fine and works well. Very well done. Love this app!I love this app! On a purely shallow surface level, I love it for its awesome visual displays—especially the snow forecast. Beautiful snowflakes and no shoveling! I also love the lightning effects. Check out the daily forecast banner at the bottom—with a simple swipe to the left you can see into next week for predicted weather with highs and lows. Swiping the animated image from top to bottom brings up much of the same information for those who prefer read text reports. There are plenty of graphs and charts to keep one busy. Any weather alert broadcasts can be found below the charts. Just click to read the detailed info and areas included in the alert. In clock mode (tap the little clock/date icon at upper right of screen), tap the icon just to the left of three o’clock inside the clock to monitor one of several hourly variations. Looking for snow or rain? Choose precipitation... Or humidity... wind... and more. You can ‘dial’ up to 12 hours forward to view ahead as well. When you release your touch it will all scroll back to the correct time. There is so much more to explore in this app! For example, the icon to the left of the little clock/date icon will bring up a radar map. I haven’t found everything yet! Been happy since the last updateNo real issues, definitely better now it’s not in Russian. Sometimes takes a while to update, but I don’t update in the background - saves drain on my battery New update 2020 continues to give weather alerts in Cyrillic on all my iDevices, overlaps words in today view on my iPad garbling them, the weather clock garbles and covers itself as well. Also no longer have the weather clock, seems I need to download another app and pay again to have it on my today screen. I’ll go back to looking out the window as much use as I get from this now. My favorite weather app hands-downI am convinced that there aren’t any good weather apps on the AppStore with the exception of this one. It is focused on the weather, not advertising, and has a very clean interface. I LOVE the fact that you can select different alert tones for severe weather alerts. It’s nice to be able to differentiate between a tornado warning and some arbitrary push notification, which I completely ignore ALL of the time. A BIG thank you to the developers for including that option. You may just be saving lives, whereas other app’s severe weather notifications are sitting on a lock screen or Notification Center that absolutely no one looks at or care about. Ding...you have a notification from Facebook. Ding...there are crops waiting for you to harvest. Ding...You’re dead! A tornado is about to rip your roof off and give you a free one-way flight to a neighboring city, so enjoy that Survivor rerun while you can. That’s not me though because eWeather HD doesn’t do dings. It gives out a clear and distinct tone that makes you look at the phone. Recently returned to the app - great by for one thingI really like this app. It’s come a long way since it started. There is a ton of info contained - it’s highly customisable. Probably everyone who wants info has it there. It didn’t get five stars from me mostly Becuase if the Apple Watch implementation. There’s he clock face in the app which is a reasonable attempt at a weather watch face worm around. And there’s a very short on info second display for the day. There’s no forecast on the watch. And zero complications. Both of which are pretty necessary for me. As it sits now I’ll probably use it on my phone but there’s no use on the Apple watch. Also I’ll continue to use dark sky for to be minute hyper local notifications. So it’s great on the phone. But missing hyper local (which maybe doesn’t matter that much) but the Apple Watch implementation needs a ton of work. It’s just not helpful at all. One great weather appOne of the two weather tools I use everyday, and is my "technical" app for when I want a forecast with good details. Has the option to get the weather forecast data from more than one source. (You see this as 2 separate forecasts; like you would for 2 different locations). Like a lot of weather apps, there is a "weather at glance" page, however, there also a 'details' page where this app really stands out. With graphs and trend lines, when I'm trying to understand what the weather is doing this is where I go. The radar page is accurate and can be run in a loop to see movement, unlike some other apps. I have used this for several years and it never disappoints. Recommended to all my friends, now I am recommending it to you. You should buy this app..ZæphyrVersion: 3.24

Superlative in Every Way!This is an elegant, full featured app that will blow you away when you see what is offered in it, the quality of the information, and the beautiful displays. Other reviewers have given details about the features, so I only will add that the customer service response and help is every bit as good as the app and quick in answering. Real forecast not predictionsThe best weather app I have known. I live in a glacial rainforest and this app is more reliable than the media weatherman. So accurate I use and highly recommend it’s use for gardening. Over the past few season eWeather HD has been a valuable asset for planning and executing my gardening schedule. I also like the way it automatically changes weather data source as I travel up and down the coast. The program is very well written, user friendly and has good graphic appeal. I, personally would recommend this application to anyone who's curious about the weather forecast! Only, one issue... I liked the older app better. The new one is a little difficult to figure out how to change the settings to look more like the previous version. The colors on the graph for snow, & rain gauges is a little off. Sometimes, I see blue- (which is supposed to be “snow”), but it will say “flood zone”! But, I check the weather many times during the day & night, & it is still my favorite weather app! A Must Have for TravelersMy search is over! Great for iTouch owners. This is by far the best weather app I've found. I downloaded 5 freebies and 2 paid weather apps. None is this extensive or accurate. One fantastic feature is that all the information is cached! Since I have an iTouch, travel internationally and don't always have internet access, I can still view the information that I previously downloaded. Thanks for a great app! UPDATE: I have been using this app for years, first on my iTouch & now on my iPhone, and it is STILL the best weather app out there!!! It is accurate worldwide. To the hour! It has all the essential stuff at a glanceLike many of the others, I also have tried my fair share of weather apps including but not limited to ones I paid good coin for... I'm a recreational night cyclist in an effort to escape the Texas heat and keeping track of the moon is very important to me. With eWeather I not only get the weather but I also get the moon daily. I like to know the start of a new month because I know it will be pitch dark that night. In addition, I talk on the phone from Auckland to Canberra to Manila to New Delhi to London to Boston to Toronto to Las Vegas to San Francisco and back. FantasticThis is a great weather app, nice radar and a ton of weather information, usually most apps look pretty but have little information or look bland and have a bunch of info, this app is a great mix of both and even has a nice detailed text version of the forecast. The new animations are great and the future weather maps are an awesome edition with the most recent update. App still continues to be my go to weather app. One thing I would like added is the scientific discussion that I think comes from NOAA. Clock Widget Needs Some Work (SOLVED)❗️Update: After rebooting my device, the aforementioned problem seems to have disappeared. Overall, the 17 September 2017 update to eWeather HD appears to be a genuine improvement—it adds even more useful information to what was already the most informative weather app on the iOS App Store. Unfortunately, however, I have discovered one relatively minor issue with the hour-by-hour weather clock widget. The "Show More/Show Less" button is not present when my iPad Mini 3 is in portrait mode; it only becomes available when the device is switched to landscape mode. This glitch renders it impossible to switch between the animated clock and the compact hour-by-hour view while my iPad is locked in portrait mode..SchoowaVersion: 3.7

Great appI'm very satisfied with this app. I love the barometric pressure graph. I have chronic pain which gets worse when the pressure increases. When my pain level rises I check the graph to see if the pressure is going up. It’s always on target so I consider myself a human barometer. I use it as a tool when I see the pressure is going to rise later in the day and can adjust my day accordingly. My friend is also a human barometer who gets headaches when the pressure goes down. I am able to check the app and tell her when she should start feeling better. I love this app because it has so many other features that would be helpful for others that may sail, fish etc. The earthquake section is very interesting. The BEST Weather AppI've tried quite a few weather apps, but this is by far the best. It provides current temp (as well as predicted highs and lows for the current and next few days), precipitation, humidity, and wind speed and direction. Fluctuations in barometric pressure are displayed on a graph. I used this to track whether baro pressure correlated with my migraines and found out it is one of my biggest triggers! I have several different locations entered so I can just scroll through to see what to expect in different parts of the state or country... and if I'm in a new area, I can just tell the app to use my current location. LOVE this app!I have about 4 or 5 weather apps and this is the only one I actually open. I like the clock face option to easily see what the day looks like and I like the fact that it's easy to slide the hand around to see even further into the future. Navigating the settings is simple and being able to swipe sideways to get different locations is very convenient. Love it! More accurate than my iPhone weather appI use this app everyday. My husband uses the one standard with iOS. This is far more accurate than his. I tell the kids they can listen to who ever they want for the weather but once they get dressed I don’t want any whining about their choice. After over heating a few times, when the iOS app said it was going to be 10+ deg. Colder than it actually was, the kids come to me every morning for the temp. Then add in all the other great features like the tides, so we always get the best tide pooling. And the earthquake map. I also use it to check barometric pressure if I’m getting a migraine. Needs visual user's guide and barometric pressure forecast by hourI bought the app for the barometric pressure features, including a warning for sudden shifts (noted for migraines). I am still searching for most of information. I found the alerts but the alert doesn't say when a sudden change is expected. Likewise, the alert tells me a shift will occur in the hour amount I see up (eg 2 or 12) but not that it will occur around 1 o'clock. QUESTION: on the bar graph, does purple mean dangerous or warning, and blue mean normal or fair conditions? I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and the way I feel throughout the day varies with the pressure. Sudden shifts, especially up, put me in bed. If I could know about when those will come, the information would help me plan my day, unlike migraine sufferers who are out for the day. Still the very best there is.I have been using this app for at least the past three years. I keep searching but always stay with this one despite all the pretty bells, whistles and pretty pictures with newer apps. This is the one that always works. It is accurate, has all the info, easy to read and work and doesn't stall when it really gets cold like today. I cannot recommend this app too highly. It would be really great if you could adapt it for my iMAC. That's the one thing Macs don't have. Their weather apps are terrible. Please let me know if you could do this. Terrific app. Easy to read. Simply Awesome!Updated review... I’m not sure if it was a bug or not but I’m glad that the days widget is available again and not just the clock. I had restarted my phone several times when I was having issues and it still wasn’t working properly and didn’t have the widget I needed. But a few days ago it was back working properly. Thank you! Updated review... I no longer find this app helpful. I don’t like that I no longer have the option for a 7 day widget. I wish I was able to choose which type of widget I could choose and not just be stuck with one in different sizes which does nothing for me. Please give the option for the choice to choose 7 day forecast in home screen widget or regular widget. You guys even took away the regular widget that had 7 day forecast. Fantastic weather app. Really AmazingYou honestly won’t find a better, more feature packed app. It took a while to figure out all that it does only because it does so much. Very reliable. It even has an area where you can see what the weather was every day of the year, the previous year. It’s under the “365”. You can also check radar, weather alerts, earthquakes and even the tides if that’s something you need. Get the paid version for sure. Keep this guy working. I’ve had this app for a long timeUpdate: I removed and reinstalled the app a couple days ago and the “now” weather works. Sadly, the background color changed into some kind of muddled greenish/grayish color. I found the background options but the sharp purple graph isn’t there and visually it’s not as easy to read. :( ==== and I like it, but recently I notice it doesn’t reflect “now” weather but shows 2 days ago unless I mess around w/it or close & open again. I like the interface, and the amount of info providedPro: Clock feature that can be used to get hourly forecasts on several parameters, like temp, wind, etc. I like seeing current temp and multi-day forecast on the same screen. Barometer trend is useful to put forecast in context. Con: If you travel a lot, and have many locations saved, navigating the location selection list gets clunky. Radar-loop rendering is erratic. Rate it 4 starsFirst and foremost, no data collected. That is a huge plus. Secondly, no monthly subscription trap like most of the other weather apps like carrot etc. The weather data as such is fairly accurate and on par with other weather reports. I like the fact that the widget has a clock baked into it. Makes a lot of sense. The interface of the app itself is simple and clean and very intuitive. No ads whatsoever in the main screen. Ads do show up in the options section though. That is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5. The Best I've Found!!!This is simply the best weather app I have been able to find. NOAA is also a very nice set up, but eWeather HD seems much more intuitive. Being able to set a number of different areas for my review makes things much easier on me. I don't have to search to see the weather where I live, then my hometown, then frequent vacation places. I noticed people were claiming inaccuracy but it's very simple to set up different ZIP Codes in your settings. I've never had any problem with it whatsoever. Best weather app I have purchased so far.Let me say I have purchased a ridiculous amount of weather apps over the years. I feel like Cinderella when she tried on the glass slipper. I love that this works with my Apple Watch and that it is so easy to use. To be fair I have played around in the app for about a half hour but I think I have it down now. I find it easy to switch from radar to precip to extended forecasts. All I usually want is a quick glance at the forecast and the radar screen. Reliable reporting makes it a winner!I have had this app since it was available- from the beginning. That must mean something, right? Well as a matter of fact, it does. Every day, multiple times a day, this is my "go- to " for planning my traveling- packing appropriate clothing and being able to prepare for whatever weather conditions are on the way. Best weather appI've used this app for a year. It has been great! I love the detail for barometric pressure. This helps me keep track of triggers for my migraines. When open with notifications, it will strain the battery life on my older electronics. I just open and close it, to perserve the battery. The up side is its worth the battery usage! My go to app for weather for 5 years nowI love this app. It uses easy to understand graphics & offers several ways to view, either hourly or over the course of days, & you can save zip codes from other towns so you can track weather in your loved ones’ locations. I also like the feature where you can set a badge display with the current temperature so you don’t even need to open it to see what the temperature is! One selling point for me was that it tells you the chance of rain in percentages, living in Florida this comes in handy. Changed artwork & animationI’ve had this app over seven years. It was excellent and I recommended to several people. Now, it appears to me that they lost their designer or artist and they took their artwork with them. The background looks like a low resolution dated light blue clipart bubble-ish template. NOT SKY or CLOUD looking AT ALL.- It is the background even when it’s raining.?? The only other options are 2 dark blue screens, both so dark it looks like night, or black! The clouds also now have solid black edging’s that look like a grade school student colored it. When in the world you ever see a dark solid black outline on clouds when you look in the sky? I have my animations and settings set correctly, so that is not the issue. Pretty much any weather app can get the accurate statistics, so the animation is key. This is so visually unappealing now compared to what it used to be that I am deleting it, even after buying it a SECOND time because I thought the animations were not working due to sharing a newly added family account (years ago used same Apple ID) -they were so stagnant and different from what it used to be I was sure that was the reason. I had emailed the designer and heard nothing back … and loved it so much prior, I actually purchased it a second time under a different apple account. STUPID me - wasted $4. ConcernedI have used it for years with good results. For the last 4 to 5 months it has been virtually useless in precipitation forecasts. Temperature, wind speed seem accurate. Predicts heavy chances of rain several days in a row that rarely develope. I have just observed that the Foreca. Precipitation forecast may be pretty accurate but the US Weather forecast for same is wrong based on recent experience and observations. By example, the current US Weather forecast fo Leesville, Louisiana predicts chances of rain in the 60-80% range until mid-day falling in the afternoon to 5-15%, while the Foreca. forecast is reversed, with 0% this morning increasing to 50% in the afternoon on the dial. The radar woul tend to support the Foreca as does the appearance of the sky. I have deleted and reinstalled the app with no improvement. Please advise..Poor highlightVersion: 3.22

Not much hereAfter using the app a few days noticed each page has emphasis on a temperature a little cloud next to it, pretty colors and a lot of sharp contrast. Boil that away and little to do with and HD radar, no severe weather overlays. In the layers tides, moon and quakes is NOT why I paid for an app. Additionally in the part of the US storms rage through in 10 minutes so storm trackers are critical. You choose lightening and it puts little dots. Can I have my money back?
