I really enjoy this magazine they give me a lot of projects that I want to try and keep me posted on what is new in wood turning at one time there was another magazine dedicated to wood turning but they went out of business

Digital version is best method for receiving this magazine in the States. Something of interest in every issue. Great way to keep up to date with latest tools and methods.

What I consider to be the best woodturning magazine currently available. Woodturning Design was the only real competition and since it was shut down by the publisher, Woodturning Magazine is it. There are several other on line magazines and they are ok, but don't go into the level of detail that this magazine does. I used to get the paper version but here in the states it's just too expensive. I'm currently a club president and teach at the local wood store, but find as much inspiration from this magazine as I do from all other sources available. Keep up the great work.

While I have been involved in woodworking for awhile, it is always advisable to read about what others are doing. Reading the articles expands my creativity and encourages me to experiment. I find woodworking is a type of therapy after a long hard day at work. Reading about what others do gives me focus, and the joy of success at looking at my project

I have almost every issue in hard copy since Woodturning started. I now get the electronic version and love it. The app is easy to use and I get each issue at a fraction of the printed cost.

It's the top wood turning magazine in the world. Full of great info. Since this is an UK magazine only it's expensive to have shipped to US so this gives you a great alternative for much cheaper. To the reviewer complaining about getting the UK version instead of the US ... It only comes in an UK version since it is a UK only magazine They should mention while the app is $2.99 it does come with a free issue of your choosing over the past year

The Woodturning magazine is great. Probably the best turning magazine out there, but the app is terrible. Printing an article from the magazine is not very clear. It would be much better if the magazine was downloadable as a file.

Great articles with lots of detail. The app keeps improving and is more user friendly than it used to be.

Just a bit prone to crash.

I am very happy with the magazine, but downloading and finding issues is not intuitive.

One word: AWESOME!

While you get everything the paper mag has, there are a couple of issues that make using this delivery system suspect. First, you can't print an article to take into your shop and I'm not sure I want my iPad in there. Second, once you download the current issue, the past issue goes away, so you can't access it anymore. The price for this is, however, very good. Only about 1/2 what the price of the paper edition is. If I had known that the old issue would go away when the new one is dl'd, I would not have subscribed. If they fix that, the printing issue would not be bad enough to warrant not subscribing. UPDATE: after working with tech support we got both issues solved! The previous issues are there, it's just not intuitive how to find them. As far as printing, you can, one page at a time, but you have to go to their website on your pc or Mac (NOT your iPad), create/log in to your account, install their new online reader, wait an awfully long time for it to install and load, wait a long time for the issue you want, and then there is a print button! Not the easiest way to do this, but since it I'd half the price of a paper subscription, it may be worth it...

Bought the app. Then paid for 12 month subscription along with buying every single past issue listed. After that I downloaded every issue. Had some issues getting this same information to the iPhone & after contacting the app owners they & I gave up on the iPhone. Now on the iPad I have only a few issues downloaded & credit for 6 issues left. Other than that the app now wants me to re-purchase all of the old issues again. NOT A CHANCE. - already wasted way too much money.

I purchased a six month subscription and have not been able to view any of the magazine. App is continuously doing a page download. I think they way over engineered this app. I read several other publications without all the headache that this app presents. I would suggest staying away from this app until improvements are made.

Just tryed to download and buy the apps just wont do it keep stop and asking for buy the apps and I have apps install all ready I don't know what's going on with this apps trying get help from makers of the apps

Not all my subscription magazines show up. I click to download them and they never do. I can't even read my subscriptions. FIX IT!

Everytime I buy a new magazine I have to delete the app from my Ipad then reload it. Please fix this, what a pain

I live in the US, bought through the US AppStore, and get a UK edition mag. Not that I don't like the UK, as I lived there 6 years, but a US version is preferred.

Generally love the content. The app feels like more of a barrier.

It doesn’t work!

I would give it zero stars if I could, because once again it doesn't work. This is the third time in a year. I just updated to the 4 th gen. IPad, and when/if I choose to view the magazine the screen goes black. I know apple is giving developers lots of opportunity to com play with new hardware in advance. Why is it you can never keep up. I have removed my auto renew. I have had enough.

Be careful when accepting an offer of a free issue. I was charged for the so called free issue!
