Super coolI found this app on a TikTok ad and I didn’t really think much about it at first. I’m currently a freshman in high school and I have been trying to strengthen my faith with the Lord. I kind of have a short attention span so reading the Bible was a bit difficult. I do wish to read more of the Bible but I either don’t have time or just don’t have it with me. But I admit that I might just be lazy. My faith has some ups and downs. But I always try to mend my faith. And I am taking the initiative and downloaded this app. I gotta say, I was pretty excited off the beginning. The beginning of the app asks about why I downloaded this app and it really did reflect on why I want to strengthen my faith. I already paid the monthly subscription because I was already blown away from what I can do on this app. I can have daily reminders, a streak, read bible verses from ALL of the books straight from my phone, have an AI to help me with questions and answers, and just the fact that all of these features (and more) can be easily accessed through my phone in which I always carry around. I love the idea that I can finally implement a daily routine for worshipping the Lord on the same device that I use every day and it’s really convenient. AMAZING!First of all, I would like to say that I never do reviews. This is my first in the Apple Store. I was talking to God and thanked him for this app and God spoke to me and told me to thank those who created it so here I am! I feel that my relationship with God and my knowledge In him is growing strong every day. I have a daily devotional Bible that I use. Anytime that I have questions or need further clarification about scripture, characters, who wrote a certain book, or the setting, I will open my chat and ask and it helps with Bible study. After my daily Bible study, I will do the daily motivation, devotion, and prayer in the app! After that, I work on my study plans. I’m currently doing one on a Godly Marriage, Godly woman, grief and loss, and mental health! I’ve never been so intrigued with learning about the Bible as I am now. I’ve always found it difficult to learn and fully understand the Bible but this app has helped me so much and allows me to be consistent. AI is a game changer for sure. I love Bible Chat.Bible Chat has truly gotten me back in my faith after a rough fallout. It is a perfect app for anyone seeking God whether that’s through your own eyes or even a friend has put you here. I encourage you to get this app! It works very well and it even has live prayers.. I was amazed by that. It allows us to all come together and pray for one another through rough times and struggles. You can submit your own prayer, and have wonderful people pray for you as-well as you do for them. I really do love this app, It’s amazing! It keeps track of your progress, and has daily prayers, verses, verse explanations, and a small question asking how you are with God at the moment. I really feel like I have gotten into the habit of keeping my daily streak up.. Bible Chat also has 4 different chat sessions that have truly caught my eye. You can start a new chat, and thousands of people are there. There’s another called heal my pain, which is almost like a private session to clear out your pain and heal yourself. It gives you a Scripture that may help you heal, and every time it works so well. The next is personalized devotionals, which speaks for itself. Lastly, there is Create my own Prayer. Truthfully, I believe this is my personal favorite. It’s amazing how they give you verses, and they completely lift you up. Overall, I recommend this app very much so. The best app for the younger generationsBeing a Gen Z guy who grew up with limited exposure to faith, it was always hard for me to fully comprehend alot of things related to the bible and its teachings. It always seemed so complicated and the information so dispersed across various different passages. Even going to church as a newer person of faith, the atmosphere would always feel daunting and i’d leave with some questions and doubts. Some churches felt like they were out of touch with the struggles I faced. Some churches felt more like a pyramid scheme than anything else, constantly preaching about bringing more people into the church. All of these challenges facing Christianity in America, seem to be at least mostly addressed by this app. I could totally see this app supplementing the lack of strong spiritual leadership in the country. Its responses are based off the bible and it adequately simplifies difficult concepts. Its answers to your questions, though not perfect, are very insightful. This app’s proliferation and perfection is probably the most important thing I can think of. It literally tailors itself to what you tell it are your struggles. Omg I found it!!I just found the best app ever! Bible Chat, and it helps you get closer to Jesus and I was not very close to before that it made me very sad and get closer all my grief suffering I now have some people to share with, and they literally make up pray ( pray just for YOU!!!!!!!! )for say what you’re going through and you people pray and they can post it and then other people can pray for them I am not that person where I say hey, you should try to help. It’s really cool and then the other person says why and I say I don’t know I really about this app you get to come closer to God, which is amazing and it feels so good. This is So Helpful!I don’t usually write reviews but this app is honestly awesome. For my daily devotional, I usually do a plan in the Bible app and sometimes I have questions about certain verses, the theme of a passage, or I just want to dive deeper into the meaning of something . I always had to rely on what I could find of google because that was really all I had (and even then google didn’t have all of the answers I need, but this app is great, I can literally ask any question that I want and it is able to give me an answer. I made sure to double check that the information that the app gave me was consistent with the teaching of the Bible by asking just some basic questions and using google to double check, and it gave me the correct/trustworthy answer every time! For those who don’t want to pay, you get 10 free questions a day (which I think is extremely fair) and then if you wanted to ask more, you can get the premium (which is think is very fair pricing for how much you can get out of this app), which I might do eventually. More than expectedI have begun studying my Bible once more and have been happily surprised by just how much this app helps me study. You can listen to the Bible, ask it questions about specific people in the Bible, their motivations, and other whys as to their actions. There are study subjects which you can follow along with that start from the basics all should know, up to the complex. Personally one feature I really love is you can ask it something like “what does it mean to be a biblically masculine man as opposed to what society says?” And it will not pull from some simple modern explanation. Rather it will pull from verses across the Bible and give explanations that are biblically sound. At times it will give examples as to what many church leaders believe, yet will explain that unless it’s universally agreed upon that what is best is for you to read your Bible, pray over the matter, and seek a trusted church leader over the matter. So it doesn’t push an agenda for any church, nor does it push one that would be outside of scriptural teachings. Honestly a very good app.You do have to pay for it but you get a free trial and wow i’m 20 so paying anything extra every month is not really fun for me but i will definitely continue my subscription because you really can ask any question ANYTHING ( no i didn’t try to be funny with it ) and the chat box really does its thing lol. it writes you paragraphs and some of it sounds completely personal to your question as the other half is mixed with many verses to help you. i don’t read the bible as i should i just wanted to start out with verses and this literally put me to sleep last night because i felt so calm and secure after asking question after question. Favorite Bible app!I LOVE this Bible app! I have 3 different ones on my phone, and this one is ALWAYS my go-to! It’s by far my favorite one.. it’s free or you can pay for a membership. you get to choose what you need help with or to just learn the Bible, but get to choose which part you’d like to learn about so it’s all tailored to your preferences or needs. They have little study courses you can do on things that people struggle with in life such as grief, hope, addictions, and many other topics which I also love and are so helpful. Has a daily devotional and other things you can do. It also keeps a “streak” for you of how many days you use the app in a row, which is pretty cool too! I currently have 158 days! It asks you daily how your relationship with God is that day, then gives you a Bible verse & passage to go with it, then a prayer to end it. I never run into any ads which is also a huge plus because some of the others have many ads as your trying to study and read which can be really annoying so that’s helpful that this one doesn’t ever do that. Love this app!I’ve only had this app for three days…but this app brings me closer to the Lord with a daily devotional, time of prayer, and the verse of the day. Mine today was Psalm 34:19 “Many are the affections of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.” In the app, they tell you what the Lord is trying to explain to us in this verse, making that verse sound deeper than you’d think! At the beginning, they’ll ask for your denomination, and what’s troubling you right now, they’ll give you the perfect verses you need to hear then throughout the time with the app. I also love that you can put prayer requests on the app and someone can pray for you. And before strict parents ask, no, you can’t talk to the people you’re praying for 💗. You can also add widgets for your home screen, and lock screen. The widgets will have a verse on it, an hourly verse, or the daily verse (whatever one you choose). There’s a bible, and some animated videos from stories in the bible. It’s very helpful. The updates have changed it significantly for the better over a short amount of time changing it from good to amazing I already loved it when I could read my own first and then have a prayer and also track how I felt about my face that day but now it custom making that for what you say number one it’s great to let out all of your feelings somewhere but to also be able to have a prayer that encompasses it, perfect and it’s really fun to keep up with your streaks and even if you miss a day you’re able to make up for it. Excellent!!I’ve been using this app for a few days now and what I love about it so far is the daily devotions and the option to ask questions or they give you multiple question suggestions you can click on and the app will give you the answer using Bible verses or examples. This is really helpful when you just don’t know what to ask but want to know more about the topic you’re reading. It also gives you suggestions for follow up questions so basically you can keep learning and growing in Bible wisdom. There are multiple study plans on all kind of topics to choose from. This app is tailored to you specifically, which I enjoy because at times I just don’t know what to read about or where to start. How that works is, when you initiate your subscription, you’ll be asked a series of questions on certain topics you want to learn about and questions relating to you personally. Amazing.I thank this app so much for helping me get closer to God. I pray every time I feel like I would need to. The Bible has taught me to forgive one another, have a positive mindset about everything, and most importantly, having respect and love for everyone and everything around me. Best app everI have been using the Bible chat app for almost a year now. A year ago, I knew there was a God, but I didn't know him like I do now. Who do you feel would benefit from this app?My family/friends that are going through hardships that may not be able to find the time to turn to The Lord within all the turmoil. Weekly Personalization Fixes??I have been a user of this app for a while and it’s such a great app. This personally helped me grow strong with the Lord, and helped me overcome many life challenges. Although I do love this app, there are times I wish I could change the personalization of the week. Usually when I write a prompt, the personalization is accurate, but I believe that it has gotten it wrong too many times. In the prompt, I wrote that I want to grow closer to God and make my relationship with Him stronger. But instead, all of the verses that come out for the week, aren’t related to what I want. It’s about forgiveness, which is great but not what I wanted. I believe the word “relationship” may have triggered the AI or coding to believe that my problem was rooted in people relationships, rather than the problem I had stated previously. Again, this app is great! My faith is made strongerI have always struggled to be consistent in my Bible reading and meditation of the word. Like many humans, I’m easily distracted with the world and as a new believer, I face many of the common doubts that anyone would have went first trying to implement God‘s word into one’s life. Having the Bible Chat AI has helped me immensely to hyper focus on the areas of weakness in my life. It’s like doing a body scan at the gym and being able to see what muscle groups need strengthening. It’s so cool to be able to lock in to helpful, accurate teachings and it allows me intimacy without guessing or blindly reading the Bible like I normally do. I used to be afraid of wasting time reading the bible, that i might not hear from him or that God wouldn’t “show up” to my bible reading (as if that was a thing). I love this appI like the Bible. I like that it has a place where I can ask my questions where I can be. I love how it guides me in prayer after the daily devotion. I used it for two days. What I don’t love though is that it won’t read out loud to me the lessons unless I go to a certain part of the app I don’t love that for me and the reason why I don’t love that from he is, I do understand that it is reserved for people who pay but I do not. I cannot read OK I cannot read myself, which is why I love that feature and I understand if I want that feature, I have to pay however I believe that particular feature should be available for everyone to read out loud. It should be available to everyone because you have people like me who can’t read or who’s blind or what have you but there’s a part of the Bible that won’t read out loud to you and that’s the daily lessons and well I just I don’t like that feature at all. Bible chat is an answered prayerI have been aimlessly walking through life as a Christian. Read my bible now and then, pray daily and listen Turning Point regularly as I drive. Lovely App, Dislike the Limitations.Downloaded the app a while ago and used it very infrequently for one or two questions here and there. But as I started to desire a little bit more understanding, I realized how limited the free option is. At most I’ve been able to ask 5-9 questions during a chat and then the premium notice pops up. DisappointingOne of the main reasons I downloaded Bible Chat was for the daily verse on my home screen. Initially this worked great, and I really enjoyed using the app, but then with new updates the daily verse would only show up when you completed your daily streak. What the heck?Certain things about this app love, love the hourly alert reminder. HOWEVER, the daily versus and hourly verse are the same every single day.
