Thanks for the reply, but that’s not the daily forecast I was referring to. Plus, I don’t want to have to scroll down to find it. I want to see it quickly when I first open the app. I’m referring to the small bar that was at the bottom of the main screen (without having to scroll down) that had the highs & lows of each day & you could scroll to the right to see the days that didn’t fit on the screen. Just frustratingOkay so I just got this app thinking...I am tired of just the weather with out a map! So I figured this app was going to be great!! So I get the app and I am trying to pin my location but this thing keeps popping up that says something about unable to pin your location and that you need to check your network and so on. Then it says cancel or retry I press retry. The same thing keeps popping up over and over and over again. I don’t know if it is my WiFi or something but it might be. So it is just really hard to pin your location well it is to me at least. Also I just pinned a random location and looked at all the stuff I really don’t like how you have to scroll down it just is kinda weird. Love this !!As a former Financial Systems Analyst for Xerox, and living in Upstate NY , I love this app. I’ve gone from IPhones to Androids and used my Galaxy S23, and now my IPhone 15 Pro, and love everything about it.
I can see the weather where my sons are living, I can see the incoming winds to just get candles and a generator out for downed trees, and even better, I can screen shot what I see to warn someone else who doesn’t look at weather.
Everything seems just really simple and even has a great display !
And yes, I know it’s from Texas, but when you surf the App Store for something great, even paying for some weather apps, this one was the best for me … search # 123

Bugs in the appI have been using this app for a number of years now and i have noticed a few issues that needs to be addressed. Whenever i’m using the app and I need to scroll downward, it automatically goes to the daily forecast when I’m trying to go past in to the option below the daily forecast. It started doing this after one of the latest updates and it is very annoying. Amazing!!This app is wonderful. When hail or other bad weather threatens I use this exclusively. It pinpoints areas being affected so accurately,to the block, and has saved my car from hail damage many times. I can just drive to a safer area. The tornado and hail overlays are a lifesaver. When you listen to live TV the weatherman can only talk about your area so much, but this gives me precise information to the block for my family’s safety and my home/car. Don’t like Radar only showing future nowSince the last upgrade, my WAPP is only showing ‘future’ radar. The button doesn’t let me select past or past/future like it used to. Only having future radar is not very helpful. Please give us the other radar capabilities back! Note my friend is not having this problem. I’ve tried looking at settings to see if I can resolve but haven’t been able to.

Home page worse than it wasThe updated home page is not as well designed as it was (or as depicted on the app download page). It’s very difficult to read the summary text against the skyline, and the summary is not as clean organized s as it was in the previous version. Don’t really like the “new” look. Send like a change was made “just to make a change” and not really to improve any content.

I don’t get the negative reviews latelyI have a iPhone 12. Radar works. Future radar works. Not sure why you use the app for its photographic image view. But my house is there.
Thus is my go to app no matter where I am when I want radar, forecast and hourly conditions. It is power hungry so if you just want the temps then others load faster.
I haven’t experienced any odd battery drain.
For me it’s the most complete weather app. Plus you can see live weather coverage if your power is out..Number231Version: 5.3.907
Could be a great app but…I have a love/hate relationship with this App. I have deleted and reloaded VERY many times due to crashes. But I like the traffic part of this app and use it very often when traveling in the DFW area and it also works when I'm traveling elsewhere.
I just wish they would keep it updated so l don't have to keep deleting and reloading it on my phone.
The radar is okay but sometimes it's not
accurate or doesn't even work. Again I think this is an app update issue. This maybe my last time to delete and reload to my phone as it gets annoying.

One big issueI’ve been using the WAPP since it came out, I’ve never had a problem with it and I use it for every place I travel too. Recently we moved about 15 miles west of where we used to live and it’s giving me an error when I open it that it’s not available in my current location along with a pair of coordinates and it didn’t do this till a few months ago. Was great.... now not so muchSo I used to love this app because it had a great landscape radar. However someone thought it would be brilliant to put a freaking ad over about 20% of the freaking screen in landscape mode. If this isn’t fixed I’ll just delete the app. It no long has value.

Great Weather app for the DFW Area, but......for one thing. I have been using this app on my iPhone from early days and it’s a great app for tracking weather in the DFW area as well as when traveling. I recently bought an iPad which I use primarily in landscape mode with a keyboard case. The WAPP will not rotate into landscape mode rendering it mostly useless on my iPad. Works great - until the weather isn’tOnce the weather goes south, this app’s radar is essentially worthless. Either it won’t open at all or the radar locks up displaying ??:?? for times or it locks on “future”. If the weather is good, we use it regularly for hourly/weekly forecast. Network failureThe app will work for a few hours and then I get a “Network Failure, make sure airplane mode is off and WiFi is on” alert. This has happened daily in various locations with WiFi and cell service. All other apps work fine. I have to uninstall this app and reinstall it and it will work. I have been slowly starting to watch your FOX 4 weather now that my Sony TV can receive the NextGen TV signals! Format change is awfulWhen looking at the hourly forecast I start to scroll to the right to see what’s expected for the day, and mid way thru all of the data resets for vertical scrolling. I hate that, please pick whether it’s going to be vertical or horizontal and leave it that way. 24 Hour ProblemThe 24 hour future prediction on the map stops working correctly about half way through the 24 hour play ahead. ForecastingI typically ride a motorcycle so forecasting is very crucial to me. Other apps I have used such as MyRadar/Apple, while very good for current radar, have had HORRIBLE forecasts. FrustratingI’ve used this app for years, without issues up until a couple weeks ago. All of a sudden, If you are on the home page and want a quick look at what to expect for the next few hours, don’t bother, because as soon as you touch the hourly section it launches you to that page! Same with the daily section on homepage. This is soooo frustrating. Why even have it on the home page if it kicks you off? And don’t even bother trying to scroll down the home page to see what’s at the bottom because as soon as you touch the hourly or daily section it kicks you off the homepage! Terrible! 24hr DisappointmentThis used to be my go to most trusted weather app. If anyone needed a weather app this was my recommendation. Then the option to see the 24hr radar was added. The addition of the 24hr radar has undermined confidence in this app. If I select the radar with the normal setting of 6 hrs I see what appears to be an accurate radar for a “now” setting. If I then select the 24hr aspect I see completely different radar information for the “now” setting. A current radar display should be a current radar display with the 24hr aspect selected or not. It should still display what is currently going on “now” but it doesn’t. Given the discrepancies I no longer trust the accuracy of the radar with any setting. HorribleThe December 2025 update made it impossible to use. Preferences are saved separately from the map chosen by the designer. So now if you want to see storm tracks, precipitation, cloud cover, watches, warnings and earthquake activity you have to create your own map name it and save it. In order to see that map when severe weather is approaching you have to look for your “saved map” at the bottom of the map screen. Watch and warning reports used to be full of information, now they are summations that provide little information whatsoever. Earthquake data is almost nonexistent. In fact, only the Pacific rim earthquakes are reported on this app. Whoever created this version, just completely ruined this App!!!.Weather watcher99Version: 6.1.301
App doesn’t loadI finally had to delete the app from my phone after putting up with terrible performance since I downloaded the app a few years ago. It would work fine for a period, then another update will download to “fix” bugs, which ends up crashing the app. It started with the app not fully loading so the daily and hourly forecasts would be blank. The last straw was when it decided not to load at all for several days in a row. It would freeze on the sponsor opening image and do nothing else. The same thing happened on my husband’s phone. Latest update takes away information on radarThe latest update on the Wapp had changed the timeline of the radar. It now only shows the present and what the future computer model thinks will happen. It no longer shows the previous hour or so like it did before. I do not like that feature at all. Also, for some odd reason it now is terribly inaccurate. Yesterday it showed our location was in a red zone of precipitation but we were not even getting thunder or lightening let alone any rain. Latest update is beyond awfulThe most recent app update seems to be missing something..... like the current weather!
Clicking on hourly will show you what it will be in an hour, and daily shows you high and low info, but absolutely nothing shows you the current weather right now. It literally opens to a blank map, and the settings for the map view are also awful.
You can turn on clouds and precipitation overlays so you can make an educated guess on the weather conditions. Or you can turn on the temperature overlay which gives a tiny circle showing the temp in each city. So that view is like a hundred little circles with numbers covering the map. Super helpful as well. Issues with the weather mapThere’s a problem with this app if you are first opening the app and you click on the Weather map, you can see the past and the future weather predictions but if you let it pause. And try to see the past in the future Mapp it doesn’t work. The weather issues are blank. The app just looks like a regular map. Used to be goodI have relied on WAPP for years as my weather location for DFW. This newest version is lousy. Personally, I do not need or want to see the cloud cover ... only the actual precipitation on the map. I have chosen “radar” and still get clouds AND rain shown ... for the past few times I have checked the app, it has shown no rain anywhere within the entire US. I find this rather difficult to believe ... especially since the forecast for DFW has included rain. Today, it has rained all day and all I am seeing is cloud cover when I can hear rain on my roof. Dec 2025 updates not helpfulThe recent app “improvements” improved nothing. With the new mapping changes, the future radar moves across several hours at light speed. On the Home Screen, several hours of future information are available but you have to scroll across to see them. As soon as you barely move across the screen to see the next hour, you are thrown into the Hourly page. I used to really like and appreciate this app but now it’s just junk. Remove all the alert overlays please!As other reviewers have mentioned, the default of every single type of weather alert automatically loading makes it so you can’t even see the precipitation on the radar. Yes you can remove them but you have to do it every time you re-open the app. You used to allow users to set their own preferences in alerts and overlays that would “stick” permanently until redefined by the user. Please bring back this functionality. I am going to use another app in the meantime because this new feature is so frustrating. It has been my go-to weather app for years. Could be betterI have a love/ hate relationship with this app….. for instance, it’s showing that it’s snowing right now on the radar! yet when I look outside there is no snow at all…. Why can they not get that off the radar??? Might as well just trust the apple weather cause it seems more accurate. Radar is Totally UnreliableThis used to be my go-to weather app and always seemed to be reliable, including the radar which was my most desired feature. The radar portion suddenly changed at some point and is rarely reliable now. The other day, I was out in my truck sitting in a monsoon rainstorm. Updated version is poorly designedPlease go back to the old interface , the WAPP used to be reliable. With the recent update the radar takes awhile to load and the drag and drop is not in the best spot on the map. Messed upThis was my go to weather app but for the last 2 days you would have thought it was weather Armageddon on the app radar. But when watching their live broadcast I realized something was wrong and checked another weather app. Yes, their app was messed up and it took them 2 days to figure that out. Unhappy with updateI do not like the new radar screen color and I do not like that there is hardly any detail on the map. Only the major roadways and only cities of your choosing, so people like me that live in a smaller suburb we can’t zoom in to see where exactly we are. The radar is always incorrectFor instance today, it showing it’s storming where I live. But the sky’s are blue in sunny. But according to the radar it should be storming. This isn’t the first, second or third. My location is set to warn me, but it will give me weather updates for Dallas. I’m no where near Dallas. So the weather alerts lately are incorrect as well

Updated app does not workI have used this app for several years and really liked it. However, the new ‘updates’ have rendered this app useless. The radar seldom works, when it does, it takes much too long to view the radar as it moves forward at a snails pace. I have reinstalled this app 5 times in hopes it would work properly but the issues remain. Sometimes you’re better off leaving a good thing alone - this would be one of those times. Radar Map view inconsistentI like the app to see the forecast, however the radar view on the map is inconsistent at showing what is actually going on with precipitation and storms. Keeps crashingI have used this app for a couple of years and it worked great. Suddenly, it won’t open and just crashes when I try to open. I deleted the app and then reinstalled with the same outcome. I deleted it and downloaded another local app and the app worked just fine so obviously it is not my phone but the FOX app. FOX needs to fix this problem. No Longer AvailableThis app was my Favorite weather app, simply because it let you set your exact location for forecasts. The other apps all give you the forecast for your town or city. We don't have one. We love 30 miles from the closest town, so the forecast for that town is spotty at best. The new update removes this capability, and contracts the area it supports. Worked great... until it didn’t.In the last month, when I go to open the app, my location and all of that pops up, but the forecast and radar doesn’t.
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app and the problem is still repeating itself.

NETWORK FAILURE!!!The app was working just fine until the update a month ago! It works fine and then for hours I will get the network failure. UnusableUp until today I used the app daily and watched the morning news every morning before work. Today; it is unusable. Screens change other own. Video stream pauses and cannot be restarted without exiting all the way out and relaunching. And this happens every 10-60 seconds. Why do “improvements” always break our favorite things?? Dew point gone missingI have used this weather app for years. After looking at the temperature I always look at the dew point it tells me how it’s gonna feel outside ! All of a sudden it’s gone .. telling me the humidity is not the same ! I’m now on the hunt for an app that tells the dew point right on the from page !
