Unfortunately, if you are a good password practitioner and you SHALL own many complex long passwords for different accounts and you SHALL change them regularly. If you don't write them down, sooner or latter only god knows what they are. Eventually, you will end up writing them down or type them into somewhere. But you really SHALL NOT do that because you put too much sensitive information into one place, which is very risky and un-thoughtful.
However, you can write down something about the passwords in the words that are meaningful or readable just to yourself. For instance, translate the pronunciation of the passwords into the second language that you speak; how about use the picture or doodling as the clue for the real passwords; or just use your imagination to create your own language to help you remember the real passwords...
Pass2word is nothing fancy but a simple handy tool for you to manage all your secret clues. It has all the adding/cloning/editing/sorting/searching... those common features you can find in the regular password/account management tools. But it also provides some uncommon features such as taking photo, importing/exporting data for data sync between devices or backup copies. Awesome App!For years I have had my passwords written down either in a notebook hidden in my desk, or a deeply hidden file in my computer. I finally found this app - which is far better than others that I looked at, and now I have this app on multiple devices with the same information. Never will I be without passwords, credit card #'s, bank account #'s etc..... even if my wallet is stolen. My password is NOT easy to get into this - plus if one of my devices get stolen - most have the capability for me to delete the info. I feel safe and secure, and always in the know if I need some information. I have also started using this for serial numbers for devices - again - this information is duplicated on other devices. Besides the serial numbers, I also have warranty information. Many, many uses for this. Other ideas could include - children's SS #'s, hubby's or wives as well, bank account information etc................... If you think outside of the box, the possibilities are endless..Version: 1.0.3
One of the most useful ipad appsGreat app for storing passwords. Unlike other apps where the app automatically logs you in (scary), this app, you simply access and retrieve your account info to log into it manually. Once you close the app after using, you have enter a password to open, so this is essentially the only password you must remember. You must remember, however, that you must close the app. If the ipad shuts down while open, when you turn on the ipad, the app will still be open. In this case simple is better, as far as the interface, and it takes up very little space. BTW, out of the 300+ apps that I have downloaded, many of them that I am much stoked about, this is maybe the 3rd app that I thought was very worthy of a review..Version: 1.0.3
Fabulous App!The beauty is its simplicity. Although simple does not equal unsecured. I have over one hundred accounts, business as well as personal, saved here and it hasn't ever failed me. I take my passwords with me wherever I go, be it on my iPhone or iPad, so I can catch up on work or "Words with Friends" while watching my kids practice soccer. I have purchased other password keeper software, but after utilizing it for 30 days, the company wanted a yearly fee to keep my private business private. I promptly sent the company my opinion on what they could do with their product. What irritated me the most, was that this "extra fee" was nowhere mentioned on the package. I have a PhD in Geology and am quite familiar with reading texts, whether it be academic or the back of a cereal box. The company should be ashamed for their lie by omission. Great appLove this app. Very handy for remembering passwords. Neat thing is you don't have to put in the passwords.....i use it to record most of the password and the balance with a mnemonic. Haven't locked myself out of anything yet. Can password protect entry and erase for ten attempts. Note...there are mobile ads that pop up, but nothing too annoying. Highly recommend..Version: 1.0.2
Just one important problemI tried the free version of this app and several others to see which would be the best fit for me. This was my favorite app. My problem with this particular app though, and it is big enough to keep me from purchasing the full version...when I swipe to get back on my phone after it has timed out, I find this is the only password app that does NOT require a password to get back into it. Really need helpI have had this app for 3yrs. Love it. Well did until I got new phone and restored all from old phone and this app lost everything I have ever put into it. Pretty SlickJust started using this App a few days ago and already can't live without it. To have all my site ID and passwords in one place is just terrific.
