Great game! But...I love this game! My sister and i always compete to who can finish the level first and it is so fun on long car trips or airplanes, but i think it could use a ending scene. Like him backflipping into a congratulation screen for completing it, then credits or something. I don't know how hard that is but I'm getting into game making an if i made a game like backflip madness, i would do the whole congratulations/credits screen to show that they completed it. I was like "...um, thats all?" So, think about it... Please read my review and not skip it like i'm a pesky reviewer. Please take this review as a positive recommendation . Possibly the best game on the App Store.It is absolutely amazing to me that even after around 2 years of playing this game I am still overcoming new obstacles. This game is EXTREMELY difficult and at sometimes just downright annoying, but that’s what always kept me coming back and playing again. The main campaign of this game has you backflipping in a unique control scheme that is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before, and there are different unlockable poses that can help you with your backflip, or challenge you. With the added bonus of the ability to “combo” your positions together allows for what seems like infinite fun. I actually managed to discover how to do a double flip without needing any platforms to jump off of other than the ground with the awesome physics engine that this game has. Also, if you’re not that into challenge, you can try out the free play mode that lets you experiment with any stage, without lives or basically any restrictions. You can even go into a secret MOON GRAVITY MODE if you tap the screen enough times! And this game basically never crashes, for me, at least, and I’m using a super old iPad that I just keep updating. On the very small chance that anyone reads this, if you like video games at all, just get this game. My life is completeI was feeling really empty inside. I was in my corner crying, when I saw my phone staring at me from the other side of the room. I ran over to it in hopes that it could fill the void in my life. I picked it up, and slid my finger across the screen. As I heard the magical unlocking sound of wizardry I felt warm and fuzzy inside. As the void in my life was slowly filled, I saw a rounded blue square. It said "App Store" under it. I touched the magical quadrilateral . A whole new world opened up for me. A land of wonder laid before me. I dove in with the enthusiasm of a new born puppy. As I perused the mass of apps, I stumbled upon backflip madness. Having nothing left to live for, I payed the 99 cent fee. I waited for what seemed like centuries, although it was only 2 seconds. My finger made contact with the screen in the center of the backflip icon. An explosion of awesomeness flood my screen. The hole in my life was slowly filled as I backflipped my way to fame and fortune. I discovered the 5 taps of lunar gravity, and how to front flip. My life is now complete. If this game updates I will probably end up being king of our galaxy, and live inside the black hole at the center of it. I will have a castle of darkness at the center, and order pizza from dominoes, because pizza is good. They won't be able to find my house though, because I live in a black hole. I will continue to backflip until I am the best in the known universe, and then I will expand my skills until I am the best of every universe. I will buy Google and Apple and become rich and then develop backflip madness 2 and make it free with no ads, because I'll be rich and I won't care about anything. Awesome- needs 3 flip combo abilityThis deceptively simple game is absolutely addicting. So addicting in fact, I was recently fired from my job for playing this during board meetings. My wife is leaving me; something about not paying attention and only playing Backflip Madness. I haven't shaved or brushed my teeth in weeks. I look like Si Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame. I recently developed foot rot from skipping showers for two weeks in order to spend more time playing. Every waking moment is spent in the glorious pursuit of the perfect flip combo. The madness has consumed me completely now. I can no longer travel anywhere without envisioning the various roofs and platforms as launching pads for flipping fame. The madness is so severe I recently began hallucinating point values for everyday occurrences. For instance, a small child was running in the supermarket and tripped on the leg of a display stand and fell, rolling into a pathetic, ugly sort of tumble somewhat resembling a flip. As he dusted himself off I could have sworn a white "119" flashed in the upper left of my field of view, signifying his score. There is no hope for me now. I can only sit in my recliner and await the inevitable. Days turn to nights and my eyes grow redder and redder as the combination of madness and sleep deprivation take their toll on my mortal coil. I almost wish I had never stumbled upon the splendor that is Backflip Madness. Perhaps then I would still be of sound mind. However anything wonderful has a price, and my sanity is a small price to pay for the pure bliss I have found in Backflip Madness over the past 3 months and 14 days. Most fun game!I love this game, I downloaded it a year or two ago and fell in love, but once iOS 11 came out it wouldn’t let me play because it wasn’t supported, I was forced to delete the game. I went back to the game and found it now supported it, so I started playing it all the time, and I love playing gym on low gravity just messing around, I’ve done crazy things like I’ve made the soccer ball into the basketball hoop, or I’ve landed crazy flips but I enjoy messing around so much, but I feel it would be so much better with a massive map with more interactive items, because I’ve found gym is the best map to play on because of the soccer balls or the basketball hoops, but no other map has any interactive items, so if there was a big map full of interactive items people could mess around in low gravity and have so much fun. Good But Not Any BetterSo this game is fun. But also it starts off extremely too hard. Another is that port 1 is STILL MISSPELLED! To say prot! Why had this not been fixed! Thats a minor complaint but seriously it makes no sense as to why it is still there. Another it that after you finish the game you can play around in free play for a while but that gets boring VERY quickly! This game after that becomes basically just very bland and repetitive. It has no replay ability. Also for new players it doesnt tell you you can zoom out or in to find where you are trying to land so it becomes a guessing game and if you failed enough one wrong guess can make it so as you have to start all the way over. Also one of the forms of backflips seems unusable. I couldnt find one place where it worked. Its the plank one and i could never get all the way around. So over all fun for a bit. Wrong to Want MoreThis is my favorite app of all time. I've been an app fanatic since the App Store was installed on my first generation iPod touch. It is the right amount of fun and frustration. You definitely get the feeling of getting better while the levels get harder. It's perfect. Awesome game! ButThis is a really addicting game and really the only one out there. I love playing it but I wish there were more levels. I finished all of them pretty quickly and am now just trying to get higher scores on them. Super fun!!!Love this game! Quick to pick up and play. Took a few minutes to learn how to flip, I got a little confused because I accidentally toggled the flip style button which requires an extra tap to land. After I realized you can cycle through different flip styles I put it back to default 3 tap flip and played thru all 8 levels with it. I think the other flips could be fun (or even make certain flips easier) but I had enough fun with just the 1! It's hilarious messing up a flip sometimes. Surprisingly addictive! Just one more...Ok, the graphics aren't the best, the physics aren't the best, and the interface isn't great either, but this is the most surprisingly addictive game I've played in a while. It's one of those fun but with just enough frustration games which have you wanting to try just one more time, again and again. One just can't put it down. With a couple of improvements, like more levels, better graphics, and the ability to use my left instead of my right, for me this would be a perfect 5 star game. So many featuresI have loved this app since the first day I bought it and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Anywhere I go I play this game it's hilarious. Little did I know the secrets and features in this game were so great! In the settings, you can put it on ninja mode and the backflip guy dresses in a ninja suit. You can also drag objects around and drag the screen with two fingers. You can also zoom with two fingers and drag the guy wherever you want after he lands! Great game! But needs workJust to start out i think it is a super fun game, but there should be more options like changing the outfit or create your own avatar. There just isn't enough levels. I thing you should be able to go inside or be able to do twists in the flip. Like a Rudi ( 1 1/2 twists ) or a Randi ( 2 twists ) or even a full. Backflip Madness!This is a brilliant app but for a few small things. There is no way to save replays! You can watch them just fine right after you do the flip, but you're out of luck if you want to save it and watch it again later. Huge disappointment! This game would be a thousand times better if there were a level editor and a way to share and download community-made maps. You'd never run out of levels to play. In the level select, it says Prot 1 and Port 2. What's a Prot? Also, and this might not be a flaw, but people play the game to pass through the levels. When they finish, then what will they do? Customize button press sensitivity!Favorite “few minutes free” game for several years, but the recent update really hinders your flip timing (you used to be able to hold your finger on the flip button and release at the exact moment you wanted to start/stop a flip, now it is on the touch itself rather than release). I understand it was made for “responsiveness”, but you get less accurate flips when pushing a button rather than releasing if your finger is already on! Endless flipping possibilitiesAs a gymnast, I immediately bought this game and was very impressed by the many types of actual flips there are that can be done in real freerunning (front, back, tuck, pike, layout, arch, legs apart, and even gainer). A flippin great time!Backflip madness is a fun, entertaining game, full of fractures and failure! It is well worth a dollar, just to see yourself land a flip you were sure was going to end in disaster, then be like "What was that ?!?" Do a face-plant into a cactus, impale yourself on a pine-tree, dunk yourself through a hoop! This games rag-doll physics are amazing, especially the feature that lets you drag your character around after he fails, and lunar gravity, which you can enable by tapping five times on your character. Fun..... and accurate!!I love all aspects of this app. How you have to tap to make the man do each step of the flip, teaches people how to properly, and correctly execute a backflip. Great but could use some improvementsVery simple game, you tap to jump, tuck, and prepare to land. Yet it's very addicting because its not as easy as you think. You unlock different tucks and backflips as you level up which is great, but the main thing I do is combine various moves to create outrageous backflips. That being said, the ability to record or save a replay is definitely needed. There needs to be more backflip types added, more costumes and more interactive environments such as moving cars. Addictive!Omg I'm addicted to this game! There's a very simple concept u just press a circle 4 times, 1 to squat, jump, flip and land. It's just the thrill that goes through your body when u land a double back flip, or a combo of backflip styles is amazing! Backflip Madness Negative Reviews

Not good for even a $1 game.I played enough to formulate an opinion for this game. The difficulty settings are bad (Slow motion? That's it?) and the number of attempts for clearing an entire area is absolutely horrendous because you have to be meticulous with your jumping. Sure, you can free play a level to practice and then aim to beat it and unlock the next, but it is WAY too punishing to hardly screw up a little flip. I deleted the game (you can call it rage quit if you want, I don't care) not too long after purchasing and I am heavily considering on making an attempt to get my $0.99 back. Every penny counts for me and I regret wasting $ on this outdated game. This is literally one of those trash flash games you can find on the Internet for free. So hard! Can't even beat the first levelI am typically really good at games. I play a lot of them on iOS and this one is just overly difficult. I may just be bad at this one game, but man there is so much to time. Press the button to crouch, then to release, then to tuck in the legs, and again to extend legs for landing. If any of these are even slightly off, you lose. First level starts off on a flat area to do one flip, then you're on boxes and basketball hoops flipping over objects onto landings you can't even see. This game is badLets start this off... So the first level is easy and then the next, the next, and it keeps on going. Then they only give you 8 levels which is not fair for the amount of money. Also on level 2 it says "Prot 1" and the next is "port 2" so not only can they not think of variation but they can also not spell correctly. Finally when you beat this game you can always go to freemode...
